On Assignment. Male Pastors Lurking For Vulnerable Women.

2 Peter 2:12-15 (NKJV) “But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime.

They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls.

They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children. They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness…”

In the Hillsong incident, the pastor was forced to resign because he was caught texting inappropriately to another woman.

It’s clear that the assignment works both ways. This pastor initiated contact which is a clear indication that he acted as a predator in search for a vulnerable woman.

There’s two sides to the those that are on assignment.

Immoral women and immoral men. Both are on assignment from satan.

For the man, that happens to be a pastor, he make take his time to make sure that he earns the trust of women or a targeted woman.

As long as he “seems” to be honest, holy, into God, into the Word, he may give that “safe” appearance. Then as soon as he feels that you’ve confided in him, he will take things to the next level.

At this point, he will feel confident in that false sense of security. If women aren’t careful, she will give in to his desires and regret it.

But the assignment happens both ways. It’s not always the woman’s fault unless she’s on assignment as well. But notice what Peter said.

They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls.

The place of vulnerability is around food and they look to entice “unstable souls.”

The word “unstable” means “unfixed.” It gives the idea that they’re not established in the Word of God.

The ones that are stable are established in their relationship with the Lord to the point that they see the enticement. They never let their guard down. They’re on the watch for evil in any form.

Women that come to the house of worship and are stable know these Scriptures….

James 4:7 (NKJV) “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

Ephesians 6:10-11 (NKJV) “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”

And 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (NKJV)
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ…”

Never put your trust in any man (see Jeremiah 17:5-10).

Always seek out other women in the Lord for counseling that you trust, if you need counseling. Never put yourself in a vulnerable situation with men. Never give them your personal information. Ask the tough questions and leave no stone unturned.

Investigate, keep and guard your personal information, never relax your guard.

Even when other women are fishing for information because they many be working for that slick sexually immoral pastor.
