In South Africa, a disappointing piece of news.
An HIV prevention medicine failed to produce the results they were hoping for.
We must understand that the purpose of HIV prevention through medicine is to help people. The collateral damage of HIV/AIDS are little babies born with the disease of the infected mother. Having sex with an infected man is a regular occurrence.
Bisexuality is another known way of disease transmission.
Undisputed is the primary means of infection.
If there could be a prevention medicine, it would be a miracle for homosexuals.
It would mean that they would take the medicine and be immune from the transmission of HIV. But if that were true, what about the other STDs?
Why not develop a drug to prevent the transmission of herpes?
Perhaps they were developing a drug to prevent all STDs. But what would it do?
Embolden sexual immorality.
If, as a sinner, I could perform a preferential sex sin without the consequences associated with sexual sins, I would sexually sin like Klingons shooting at my star ship and I have my force shields up, and never weaken.
Except in the Star Trek shows, the Enterprise’s shield would weaken with each hit.
No sex sinning is the ultimate tool of prevention.
1 Corinthians 6:18-19 (NKJV Strong’s) “Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.”
Because man intends to sin against God, the consequences are condemned for a moment of pleasure. With their hopes dashed. They will continue to search for a way to prevent transmission. But know that they do so with a cloak around the reason.
To stop collateral transmission.
To stop others from being infected by way of homosexual sex.
Needle pricks or sharing needles.
And other ways of collateral transmission.
