Kim Davis And The Meeting With The Pope

In an amazing turn of events, Kim Davis, the Rowan County Kentucky Clerk met with the pope for 10 minutes. For those that do not know who Kim Davis is. She defied the homosexuals that were looking for a marriage license. She denied them and a couple of heterosexual couples.

The Supreme Court allowed the 6th Circuit court decision to stand and she was order to jail in contempt of court for not issuing marriage licenses to homosexuals. We still contend the fact that there was no law passed by Congress that gives homosexuals the right to marry because there is no amendment or clause that specifically address marriage, whether heterosexual or homosexual. The 10th Amendment was made to address laws made by the states.

We also contend that the 14th Amendment, “Equal Protection” clause was about giving blacks rights. And thus, the Civil Rights amendments was birth for this purpose. Kentucky has no laws stating that a clerk MUST give homosexuals marriage certificates. Kentucky doesn’t have any laws giving homosexuals the right to marry. Hence, Kim Davis’ civil Christian disobedience to a law that doesn’t exist was the right call.

Homosexuality and homosexual marriage is not the law of the land. Therefore, how can you be disobedient to a law that doesn’t exist?

How can she be in contempt of court to a law that doesn’t exist?

Contempt of a federal judge?

Judges, presidents, governors, mayors, and county executives cannot make laws.

Last we’ve checked, Congress and the Kentucky legislature (not judges or presidents, or governors) never wrote a law. The only legal body authorized to write and pass laws is Congress and the states. Veto power is held only by the governor in the states and the president of the United States. Kim Davis was freed and the FRC along with governor Mike Huckabee, a 2016 presidential candidate, celebrated outside the place where she was incarcerated.

Since then, she has allowed the issuance of marriage certificates to homosexuals but without her name.

The certificates are issued as “pursuant to federal court order.”

She has since changed her political party affiliation from Democrat to Republican. But in another twist of events, she met with the pope.

There is no question in my mind that this meeting with the pope smells.

Here is the reason.

Preponderance of evidence. The Family Research Council led by Tony Perkins is not afraid to be inclusive of catholics to achieve a common goal. I believe that it’s part of a system of numbers and unity. There is no question that FRC has been leading the charge against tyranny in the United States, watching our freedoms slip away is a clear and present danger to the United States, but a much bigger threat than this has vicious spiritual ramifications.

There is no possibility of the Body of Christ coming together with clear doctrinal differences. We are so fragmented that the devil is laughing at our divisiveness.

Jesus said it clearly that a house divided against itself cannot stand (see Matthew 12:25).

You see, it is not about people but the people involved in the system.

There are beautiful catholics as well as there are beautiful protestants but when you honor the denomination above the Lord, that’s where the problem is. There are just as much hideous stuff that goes on in the protestant churches. Trouble is abiding also in non denominational churches with questionable doctrine (prosperity gospel and so forth).

However, we must never unite in compromise. The purity of the Bible and the common correct interpretation of Scripture is what we should fight for before we fight for causes that threaten a nation. The world sees several denominations made by man. As confusing as it looks, this is not the true Body of Christ. Doctrine has hacked up the Body where our body pieces are all over the place like a car bomb explosion.

That’s why Jesus shared about wheat and tares. Tares looks so close like wheat that the only time it becomes distinguishable is when you uproot them.

It is not uncommon for catholics to meet with protestants. But we should never meet to suppress the truth of the Scriptures. Neither should there be a meeting where hypocritical living is evident. You can’t demand that the world get born again if you are not born again yourself.

This is something that many leaders in catholicism is pressing for. For protestants to stop protesting the wrongly divided doctrine held by the system of catholicism. Therefore, it is uncommon for believers in the Lord Jesus to mix it up with a denomination (catholicism) holding questionable doctrine.

Many will say that protestants and catholics need to come together. Many will say that I am being divisive.

I beg to differ because of extreme doctrinal differences.

We must remember that Martin Luther, John Wycliffe, William Tyndale, and others vehemently protested catholicism’s monopoly on the Bible.

Many Christians tend to forget that these men were brutally persecuted for their stand against a system that held many people in bondage to an institution.

Note well Ephesians 4:4-6 “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”

If you are looking at major doctrinal differences, just look in three places.

  1. We do not pray to Mary, the mother of Jesus.

Matthew 6:6-7 “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.”

“vain repetition or (a proverbial stammerer)” is defined as to “repeat the same things over and over, to use many idle words, to babble, prate.” In other words, you use words over and over again as an act of religiosity with no real purpose. It is a form of godliness that denies God’s power. Such prayers as “Hail Mary, full of grace….” Well John 1:14 says “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” Jesus is “full of grace and truth…” not Mary.

John 16:23-24 says “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”

No where in the Scriptures were we instructed by the Lord Jesus to pray to Mary.

2. We do not pray to “patron saints.”

From a good source, it is defined as “A patron saint or a patron hallow is a saint who in Roman Catholicism is regarded as the tutelary (familiar) spirit or heavenly advocate of a nation, place, craft, activity, class, clan, family or person. Supposedly, patron saints, having already transcended to the metaphysical, are able to intercede effectively for the needs of their special charges.”

John 14:6 says, “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

John 16:23-24 says “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”

Hebrews 7:25 says “Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”

Romans 8:34 says “Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.”

1 Timothy 2:5 says For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,”

1 John 2:1-2 says “My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.”

So ONLY Jesus is The Way, The Intercessor, The Mediator, The Advocate.

Therefore, no where in the Scriptures were we instructed by the Lord Jesus to pray to patron saints.

3. The pope is not the head of the church, Jesus is.

Ephesians 1:20-23 says  “…which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.”

Colossians 1:15-20 says “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.”

The pope may be the head of catholicism, but he is not the Head of the Church.

Therefore, no where in the Scriptures are we instructed that we have another head other than Christ.

It is true that when one is called to the ministry, they represent the ministry of Jesus Christ according to Ephesians 4:11, but as believers, we serve in this capacity as well according to 2 Corinthians 5:20-21.

These Scriptures that were quoted is the work of William Tyndale, John Wycliffe and other heroes when they translated the Bible into english from the Latin Vulgate, Greek & Hebrew, and other sources. We have our own copies of what the Word of God says as opposed to taking it for granted the catholic priests were giving their own versions of misinterpreted Scriptures and self conjured religious sayings, lacking Biblical harmony.

So having said this, why would Kim Davis sit with the pope? I honestly believe that it was a set up. I could be wrong about how and who is behind this, but it doesn’t look right and it isn’t right and we know it.

I do not agree with it one bit. Some will ask the question, “What’s the harm?”

The harm is looking to man for help instead of God.

Psalm 121 says

1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills —
From whence comes my help?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade at your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve you from all evil;
He shall preserve your soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.

So should catholics and protestant stay apart or unify?

With clear doctrinal differences, there is no question about it. Until the system of catholicism is renounced, and these, and other major doctrinal differences are dealt with, it is best to be loyal to God and His uncompromising Word as opposed to being loyal to a system that is against the Scriptures.

Second Rebuttal To EXMinistries Regarding The Kim Davis Incident

There is no need to elongate this second rebuttal to EXMInistries.

Lonnie Poindexter, of Freedom’s Journal Radio Show, corrected me about a recent resignation that took place of a clerk due to her religions faith regarding issuing marriage licenses to homosexuals.

In a nutshell, Brother Lonnie said to me that if the righteous resigns, we leave a vacuum open for evil to assume office. That this is exactly what the devil wants. Righteousness to vacate. This was in response to a post on FB, that I commended the stand on Biblical truth but I never commended the resignation.

Lonnie Poindexter’s point was well noted and received. He is correct to point out that if the righteous walk away, the darkness moves in without a fight.

This is called by my fellow abortion abolitionists (“Righteous resistance to evil authorities.” Acts 5:29.

In fact, the post, if I remember correctly, included the link to a story about a clerk resigning and EXMInistries concurring with this resignation. That this is what’s supposed to happen.

This is what EXMinistries and others supporting resignations want. For Christians to resign.

Then in using a Scripture that some of us may be familiar with (see Matthew 22:15-22)….“Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s….” we see that Scripture twisting is the norm, even for believers that should know well their Bibles. The issue was about money. “Who’s inscription is this Jesus asked,” Caesar’s inscription was on the coin. The question was about Jews paying tax to Caesar. This ties in succinctly with Romans 13. Romans 13 is the concurring Scripture regarding taxes, not homosexuality.

Nice try, by the way, to twist this Scripture.

But now, what about homosexuality? Is there a law that specifically states that “homosexuality is the law of the land?”

The answer is simple.

There is none.

So Caesar can’t get what Caesar wants because there is no law of the land.

I find it very hard to believe that people can’t grasp this simple statement, but then again, I shouldn’t be surprised because these are the last days and some of us didn’t get the memo.

From a Constitutional perspective, there is no law in the Constitution regarding same sex marriage. The 10th Amendment is clear that any law, according to governor Mike Huckabee and senator Ted Cruz, and other Constitutional scholars/attorneys, that there is no specific law in the Constitution governing marriage and that such laws are to be given by the states. That’s the 10th Amendment.

School Prayer, Abortion, and now, Same Sex Marriage has all been “phantom law” on the misapplied 14th Amendment “Equal Protection” Clause. The original intent of the 14th Amendment was about race.

According to the 10th Amendment, states govern the laws regarding marriage.

Kentucky has no laws on homosexual marriage, and the Constitution has no laws on marriage. Plain and simple.

So the question is very simple.

“What law (of “Caesar”), if any, did Kim Davis break, whether Constitution or Kentucky law that specifically stated that a clerk MUST issue a marriage license to homosexuals?

If a law was created by the U.S. Congress and or Kentucky legislature, please state that law so”Caesar” can be served.

All I am saying is that if there is no law, then Kim Davis was unlawfully imprisoned for a law that doesn’t exist. Secondly, the Supreme Court has no way to enforce the law but leaves that up to the lower circuit or county courts. What we are saying is that there is a clear usurping of the Constitutional process of establishing laws to create a law that doesn’t exist. In other words, Genesis 3:1-7 just happened all over again and we didn’t pay attention.

If Kentucky had a law on the books regarding SSM, then this is a “gotcha” moment, but there is no law.

We can cut to the chase by answering this question mentioned above.

Romans 13 is clear that all authority comes from God.

So you mean to tell me that we are to obey a law from man about the sin of homosexuality? Then that means that God has to raise from the dead all those that commit sexual immorality, including the ones that were destroyed in Sodom and Gomorrah, and apologize to them.

NO need to go any further than this. Answer these questions, citing a law or laws that legalized homosexual marriage, and then we can move on.

Until then, if you want to continue being blinded by the world’s version of the greatest hijacking of law in history, by all means, go ahead.

Just ask me for a pillow when you hit the bottom of the ditch.

Q & A On Porn & Solo Sex Commonly Called Masturbation, Part 3

Q: Upon reading one of your blogs, you specifically said that masturbation is the “door” to homosexuality. My question to you is, what is the basis for this seemingly absurd statement?

A: During a “Come Clean” men’s meeting, I invited Pastor Roger Jamison, pastor of Sword of the Spirit Tabernacle in Brooklyn NY, as a guest speaker. This was in 2009, if I remember correctly. The statement was profound. He said that “…masturbation is the door to homosexuality.”

Now, there is nothing specifically stated in the Bible that “masturbation is homosexuality.”

The inference based on preponderance of incidences and evidence is being used to make an arguable point. I am well aware that people will reject this argument. This is not to say that those that are into masturbation are homosexuals, but for argument’s sake, assume that if this is right, where do you want to go? Do you want to continue masturbating or do you want to be free?

I struggled with that statement because when it comes to normal sex, it takes two. A man and a woman, or in the case of homosexuality, two of the same sex acting out as if they are the opposite sex. So we all agree that normal sex is between one man and one woman in holy matrimony.

But when it comes to masturbation, it’s only you, whether male or female.

As I thought about it, you are a male pretending to have sex with a male or female, but you are touching yourself sexually.

With homosexuals, and this is about to get a little graphic, they masturbate each other.

How do I know?

While I was searching for porn, as always, they advertise all sorts of sex. There was a man on a couch, doing solo sex. I haven’t delved into “how to’s” of masturbation, but I know they exist.

While watching an interview of Ted Haggard, the former pastor of New Life Church in Colorado, he was asked a question about his homosexual affair and meth use. He stated that this man that he was with “masturbated him.”

So this is indisputably common.

Let’s look at this from the perspective of the fact that as a male, you are giving sexual stimulation to yourself. We know that there is more to masturbation when it comes to homosexuality. No need for the details, but foreplay is part of the sex act that leads to climax or ejaculation.

There will be many that will not accept this, and that is understandable. However, look at it just for a moment of you putting your hands sexually on you.

You are a male, or a female………right?

You are giving yourself sex……right?

So how can it not be homosexuality? Homosexuality is same sex activity. It takes two persons. This is a valid point and question. But you can also look at it that at the very least, these are the beginning stages of homosexuality.

When it comes to acting out sexually, and doing sex within the authorization of marriage according to the Bible, this is legal sex.

Illegal sex is when you are having sex with another man or another woman that is not your wife or husband. Illegal sex is when you are acting out sexually with the same sex. Sex was designed by God for two persons to become one flesh and to procreate, therefore any other sexual activity is not the intended design of sex authorized by God.

Can a wife stimulate (masturbate) her husband? Perfectly legal.

Can a husband stimulate (masturbate) his wife? Perfectly legal.

If acting out sexually by yourself is authorized for man or woman by God, then there wouldn’t be an issue with your conscience. Again, I want to remind you that after masturbation, the conscience is offended because of acting out sexually apart from God’s design of sexual activity between married persons, one male and one female.

Just ask yourself another question. Is someone masturbating you or are you masturbating you?

The one thing that we have to understand is that when it comes to Secret Sexual Sins, solo sex masturbation is very embarrassing. We do not want to discuss something that is highly taboo. And yes, people have made jokes about it, and use hand gestures to mean certain things, but we all know that masturbation is common solo sex.

Then the Holy Spirit reminded me of 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that “….homosexuals (catamites) and……sodomites….will not inherit the kingdom of God.” Then in Revelation 21:8 that the “sexually immoral…will be cast into the lake which burns with fire and brimstone.”

I either had to be in denial and suppress the truth, or admit that I may be on the door of practicing homosexuality on myself.

What we have done with taboo subjects is avoid the issue and place our own permission on committing acts that are not permitted by God outside of the intended design. We’ve stretched the imagination and disqualify the conscience. But are we imposing our own law on others? What would be the governing factor here where there is no Scripture approving or disapproving masturbation?

Your conscience doesn’t condemn or shame you, and the fact that if Jesus masturbated. Then you have all the permission you need.

Then we act like some (not all) preachers and lawyers, and try our best to twist or deny the Word in hopes of continuing in sin that grace may abound (see Romans 6:1). We’ve yielded our members (penis or clitoris) as instruments of unrighteousness, slaves of sin, (see Romans 6:12-13) to continue in committing acts that violate your conscience and the heart of God.

Finally, when it comes to pleasing God, when you are masturbating, are you having sex in accordance with God’s design or are you circumventing and countermanding His design to fulfill selfish sexual needs?

Q & A On Porn And Solo Sex Commonly Called Masturbation, Part 2

Q: After reading many books on the subject of masturbation and gleaning from the many responses, do you believe that masturbation is a sin, and why?

A: This is the most controversial issue among many professed believers that practice masturbation.

There are obviously, more books that is pro masturbation than against, for obvious reasons.

Well, let’s start with the Bible.

The Bible says nothing about masturbation, with the exception of an inference of masturbation in Genesis 38. Judah told his brother, Onan, to marry his brother’s wife and produce offspring so that the child would be heir to his brother’s possesions.

Onan married his brother’s wife and had sexual intercourse, but right at the point of no return, he either withdrew and ejaculated his seed on the ground, or he masturbated.  It is not clear, but many ministers assumed that he masturbated. For the sake of clarity, according to the passage, it appears that he didn’t masturbate but simply withdrew at the point of no return.

By the way, God killed Onan. Not for masturbation, but for not producing a heir according to God’s ordinance. It’s one of those passages that should be “shelved” until additional insight comes.

It’s reasonably argumentative.

But there is nothing definitively stated in the Bible prohibiting the practice of masturbation. On the other hand, there is no Scripture that approves the practice of masturbation.

Therefore, silence is not permission or prohibition.

Q. So, what’s the issue if there’s no Scripture preventing or permitting the practice?

A. Titus 1:15-16 says “To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.”

Notice Paul said, “but even their mind and conscience are defiled.”

I’ve read arguments that masturbation is healthy. That it’s common to masturbate, and that kept me “in the game,” but I kept getting this nudge from the Holy Spirit that something wasn’t right. This nudge was heavy on my heart after I quit porn. I honestly thought that it would be okay to masturbate even after I put away the porn.

Romans 8:29 says, “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

Then Colossians 3:5-10 says, Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.

But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,”

Did you notice the phrase “…conformed to the image of His Son,” and “…renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.”

The thing that the Holy Spirit was pointing out to me was that if masturbation is part of the image of Jesus, and we are to conform to His image and be just like Jesus, then if Jesus masturbated, we can masturbate too.

My conscience bother me after this Word from the Holy Spirit.

That’s why it’s very easy to suppress the knowledge of the truth. Suppress the convicitng power of the Holy Spirit by declaring that there is nothing specifically said in the Word that masturbation is a sin. By creating this “loop hole,” we create a law on permission. We will even use this Scripture.

Like Paul said in Romans 4:15, “…for where there is no law, there is no sin.”

But we forget the law of the heart called the conscience.

The word “conscience” is the Greek word “syneidesis” which means “moral conscience.”

Furthermore, it means, “the soul as distinguishing between what is morally good and bad, prompting to do the former (good) and shun the latter (bad)…”

To overcome the conviction, we completely bypass the conscience.

After that bombshell, the Holy Spirit said, “You are still a slave to sin.”

Notice what Jesus said in John 8:34-36.

Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”

Well, because mastrubation is not a sin, I’m not sinning. That’s right, that the Bible doesn’t say that mastubation is a sin, however, your own conscience knows the difference between good and bad. The other issue that you have to resolve is the slave mentality.

I thought I was free but when something or someone is telling you to do something, you are not under your own control. You are being controlled. It is when you can say “NO!!!” to what is trying to control you that you have absolute control. But it is not just in the saying “NO!!!!” You have to fight your flesh and your mind to not touch yourself sexually.

When you give in to its influence, you are under its control.

Paul said this by the Holy Spirit in Romans 6:12

“Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.”

Your own conscience knows that what you are doing is bad, so to you, it is sin. If you do not believe that this is true, then why do you “feel bad” after you’ve masturbated?

It’s called the guilt of sin.

You’ve allowed yourself to come under its power and you’ve yielded your members to unrighteousness.

And Paul said in Romans 6:12-14.

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.”

Noticed what Paul said further in Romans 6:15-17

“What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered.”

If masturbation is telling you to masturbate, you are not free. You are a slave to masturbation.

Finally Paul said this in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20.

“Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

Does masturbation glorify God?

When it comes to sexual immorality, especially watching porn, you know that masturbation is part of the lewd conduct. James tells us in chapter 1 and verse 14 and 15, the latter portion, “…and sin when it is finished brings forth death.”

So when we sin against our own body sexually, it brings forth death. Death is a nature, we understand that, but what happens when death comes?

Life stops.

1 Corinthians 6:12-13

“All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.”

Did you notice that Paul said, “I will not be brought under the power of any.”

That’s why masturbation is a sin against the body, even though the Scriptures says nothing in writting about its prohibition. Your own conscience told you and convicted you.

I know that there’s many that will say, you are making the Scriptures say something that isn’t there. Well, when you stand before the Lord, will you be free as a son in the house or will you be a slave outside the house?

Are you under it’s power or do you have absolute control and power over masturbation?

If Jesus masturbated, and we are to conform to His image, then you have His permission. But if Jesus didn’t masturbate, then we do not have His permission, and there is no justification.

Q & A On Porn And Solo Sex; Commonly Called Masturbation

November 2008 was the last time I watched porn and masturbated to porn. Being a hypocrite caught up to me as the Lord warned me on the last day to “Come Clean! Or Be Exposed!”

Psalm 90:8 says, “You have set our iniquities before You, our secret sins in the light of Your countenance.”

2 Chronicles 16:9a says “The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth…”

Hebrews 10:31 tells us “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”

Of course this verse speaks about when the Lord issues vengeance but if you’re in the crosshairs of being judged by God, it ought to be just as fearful.

Q: What made you want to watch porn?

A: Around 1998, we had Directv installed. At this point I knew that the temptations were there but at that time, I purposed in my heart (deceiving myself) that I wouldn’t watch porn. PPV porn was already on cable but we never got cable. Instead, I opted for satellite.

When you are channel surfing, you will come across salacious titles.

On the 100 channels, PPV soft porn would be on these channels. And that’s where it started. But it really didn’t start there. The seeds for porn were deposited in my heart as a little kid. Underneath the seat of my father’s car would be a book on sexual positions. It was there that the seed was deposited. My next exposure would be the movie houses on 42nd Street in Manhattan during the 70’s, which were notorious for pornography in almost every movie house.

Before the main movie, they would show pornography. As a kid, we didn’t have money to go to the movies every week. At that time, I had only been to the movies as a kid no more than 2 times. My parents didn’t like for me to travel because growing up in NYC, it was very dangerous.

Then a few friends of mine would ask if I wanted to go to a friend’s house to see movies. I went and there was nothing but porn. Planted in my heart and mind would be pornography. Therefore, it was very easy to “cross the line” and order PPV porn.

Then when Directv came, it made it easier for me to access porn discretely, or so I thought.

For 10 years, I would watch porn.

Q: Were you ever caught when you watched porn?

A: During one night, as I was watching porn in the bedroom, it would be then that my wife knew that something was going on. She turned over and caught me and that’s when I realized that I had a problem. A caught in Secret Sexual Sin problem. We call sin “a problem” to minimize the fact that it is sin. But when it comes to being caught, the Lord caught you before time began. Sin had found me out a long time ago.

Few of us remember that to be caught by physical eyes is one thing, so we try to hide ourselves from being caught by other people, but God caught us before we were caught by other people.

There comes a point where a man doesn’t care about being caught. All he cares about is fulfilling his sexual needs. It wasn’t about anything else. There is only one goal to achieve. Fulfilling the lust of the flesh. The risks of being caught was part of the territory.

Q: What did you do after you were caught by your wife?

A: I did what most men do not do. I admitted it. When you are caught red handed, you can lie about it. You can defer it by raising another issue to distract your wife. Or you can come clean about it. We sat together. She prayed for me but I couldn’t walk away that easy from porn.

Q. What would you say was driving you to watch porn?

A: That’s an easy question to answer. Years later, after reading some material on sexual addiction and in particular, Dr. William Struthers’ book on “Wired For Intimacy,” it was discovered that the stronghold wasn’t the porn. It would be the combination of porn masturbation or solo sex that reinforced the stronghold of lust in my heart, mind, and body. After watching Dr. James Dobson interviewing Ted Bundy, the serial rapist/murderer Ted Bundy was asked a question.

“Was porn the cause behind the rapes?” Nonchalantly, Ted answered…..“Porn wasn’t the cause. Porn was the fuel.”

Pastor Roger Jamison, pastor of Sword of the Spirit Tabernacle in Brooklyn, NY, for a season, was my accountability partner (words can’t express the gratitude for this man of God) and he said to me that you do not need to watch porn because you have porn all in your head.

So porn wasn’t the cause, it was the fuel to the fire raging in my heart. When your flesh and mind crave to have sex, you can come up with a thousand images. However, when you want the full effect of the fantasy, a man or woman will go to porn. Another thing that Dr. Struthers said was that “porn hijacks the brain.”

In other words, you give yourself over to watching porn and give porn permission to access the chemicals in your body. I’ll get to more on that later but when a man watches porn, or even a woman, you are pretending to have sex with that image and you begin to touch yourself sexually. The lust or the desire to have illegally that person becomes strong. So strong that you are operating on the level of lust possession.

We must remember that demons are operating among humans all the time. While that person is on the TV screen, in the realm of the spirit there is interaction with demon power. You are literally giving yourself over to the spirit of lust. Demons seek expression through humans and the commission of sin is the way they manifest themselves.

Q: You mentioned that porn gives permission to access the chemicals in your body? Please explain?

A: Yes, your body has chemicals that must be accessed to enjoy the full effects of sex. In my studies on Healthy Sexuality and Sexual Addiction from Liberty University, by the way, these courses are not college courses for a degree, but they are nonetheless great material to understand what and why you do what you do. There are four chemicals in men that is excreted into the blood stream.

  1. Vasopressin.
  2. Adrenalin.
  3. Testosterone.
  4. Dopamine.

The first three chemicals produce the erection, energy, and excitement. Men are sight oriented. So when a beautiful woman shows up, the first three chemicals are accessed. The last chemical is dopamine commonly called the reward drug. After orgasm (point of no return), this drug is the pleasure drug.

So when it comes to masturbation, you are accessing these chemicals. It’s highly addictive. And that’s why when it comes to porn, porn is the fuel. Once you start to engage yourself sexually, it is very difficult to shut down. The mind and body gets very frustrated if orgasm isn’t achieved because the body is after the chemicals.

Q: You have given us so much information to glean from. So tell me. With all of these things operating in you, it seemed impossible for you to break free? How does a man break this?

A: Jesus said “With God, all things are possible.” There was a time where I consigned myself to never be free. In other words, hopelessness had set in. There was a series of lies running in my head. One of the things that the devil did was to ensure that I would never have the Word dwell in me richly in all wisdom. That’s Colossians 3:16.

Even though I was a professed believer, I wasn’t a delivered believer. For if I were truly a believer, and I thought I was, His Word would be kept in my heart. Hypocrisy is more about having a form of godliness that denies the power of God. So hopelessness set in. But thank God for a praying wife. Do not get me wrong. God’s power can deliver but it also takes a praying person. Whether it is your wife, mother, family, friends. God needs a vessel to pray for an answer to manifest. In fact, every answer from God is waiting for someone to pray for an answer.

Hopelessness is loneliness. The devil isolates you and keeps your mind from escaping into the Word of God. To break the power of porn and masturbation, you need someone that is willing to pray to God. If the price of freedom is to be paid, it is paid on our knees to God.

2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”

In that apartment we were in, the presence of the Lord was there. You do not have to feel that He’s there to know that He’s there. No man can break the power of demons in porn and masturbation by himself. In fact, this is the top area of strongholds among humans. Sexual immorality is the Goliath of our times. So we need the power of the Holy Spirit.

In that story with David and Goliath, we must understand that David did not win that battle alone.

That story is not possible without God’s power. When it comes to sexual immorality, we see that David had issues too. He was able to slay the Goliath on the outside, but David couldn’t slay the Goliath in his heart, mind, and flesh. A man can have access to the wonderful presence of God but until the Spirit of God has everything about us, those Psalms written by David really doesn’t mean anything.

It’s a tough thing to say about David because all of us have intentions on serving God but we really serve God in Secret Places. It is there that our true nature and character is revealed before the Father. It is there that the Secret resources of our hearts are laid bare before God. In front of millions, we can look strong, but when we are by ourselves, are we the same?

God knew that David would fall but He was waiting on David to make a decision.

Decisions Determines Destiny. If David had decided to go to battle with the kings, Uriah would have been alive.

Our prayers in public are only as good as our prayers in secret.

With the help of God, the prayers of others, and a willing and obedient heart, any man or woman can break free. In fact, the prison door was opened when Jesus died on the cross. There’s only one decision left after the question is asked of you.

Do you want to be made free?

Rebuttal To EXMinistries Regarding Kim Davis’ Civil Disobedience

There is an interesting article from one of the most powerful ministries that was posted on my FB comment.

EXMinistries has been on the cutting edge of uncovering the secrets behind HIP HOP music. In particular Christian HIP HOP and other areas, such as The Illuminati, Greek Letter Sororities, Freemasonry, Catholicism, Thieves In The Temple regarding praise and worship “artists,” and other areas as it relates to the conduct of Black people, & pastors in our churches today.

We are grateful for their insights to help us understand how demonic activity has invaded some segments of the Christian church.

The last thing that we need is for Christians to disagree. However, we are aware that disagreements is part of the territory.

In their latest article regarding “Christian Disobedience?,” I do have to share a word that will rebut EXMinistries’ article.

However, before you read my rebuttal, EXMinistries‘ article could be read here.

Having just read the article, I disagree. I believe that we are to be law abiding citizens but not when there is a blatant law against following the Word of God.

And we should never follow a law where a law doesn’t exist.

Here is why.

1. Kim Davis did follow the law.

She is an elected official that followed the law to the letter. There is no law specifically ordering a clerk to issue a marriage license to homosexuals.

1. The U.S. Constitution has nothing to say on marriage between one man and one woman.

2. There is no law in the U.S. Constitution authorizing homosexual marriage. Therefore, there is no law on homosexual marriage for the Supreme Court to rule on.

3. Kentucky law has nothing to say about ordering the clerk to issue a license to homosexuals.

4. There is no law in Kentucky authorizing homosexual marriage.

Here is the law in Kentucky.

402.005 Definition of marriage. As used and recognized in the law of the Commonwealth, “marriage” refers only to the civil status, condition, or relation of one (1) man and one (1) woman united in law for life, for the discharge to each other and the community of the duties legally incumbent upon those whose association is founded on the distinction of sex. Effective: July 15, 1998 History: Created 1998 Ky. Acts ch. 258, sec. 4, effective July 15, 1998.

2. 5 Justices hijacked the 14th Amendment.

What is the purpose of the 14th Amendment?

Here is the 14th Amendment.

14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution in a nut shell.

The 14th Amendment to the Constitution was ratified on July 9, 1868, and granted citizenship to “all persons born or naturalized in the United States,” which included former slaves recently freed. In addition, it forbids states from denying any person “life, liberty or property, without due process of law” or to “deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.” By directly mentioning the role of the states, the 14th Amendment greatly expanded the protection of civil rights to all Americans and is cited in more litigation than any other amendment.

The Equal Protection clause is about equal treatment of races, not sex or as they would put it “sexual orientation.”

The Supreme Court case of Obergefell v. Hodges is about homosexual marriage certificates being honored irrespective of States’ laws on marriage. That homosexual marriages are to be honored on the same level as heterosexuals.

Hence, marriage equality.

In other words, to accomplish equality, they must suppress the ageless institution of marriage between one man and one woman as inerrantly given by God as taught in the timeless infallible Word of God.

Because certain states have laws on the books that prohibit homosexual marriage and the elite leaders of homosexuality knew that this is a major problem in their pursuit of dominance and control in the United States.

We all know that this homosexual agenda is a clear and present danger to the United States.

How is it a danger?

1. Homosexual marriage re-writes the rules of traditional Biblical marriage as we know it.

2. It is a danger to Christians practicing their faith which brings the convicting power of the gospel.

We must remember Paul’s word in 2 Corinthians 2:14-16.

“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life.”

They are trying to stop this aroma for a long time.

In essence, what 5 justices have accomplished is to give practicing homosexuals a race status by invoking the power of the 14th Amendment.

Homosexuality is not a race.

Homosexuality is a sin.

Homosexuals are not a race.

Homosexuals are people that practice the vile, disgusting, and nasty sin of homosexuality.

This propels polygamy into a race status. This propels pedophilia into a race status. This propels zoophilia into a race status, equally protected by the law.

The moment sin is legal, it brings every illegality into the status of the 14th Amendment. Equal Protection.

Man did not make up marriage. Marriage is the ageless institution from God to one man and one woman.

The argument of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” is a flawed argument for well known monumental reasons.

What the world is telling the child of God to do is when you come to work, leave Jesus and His standards at the door. You are not permitted to live by your Bible.

You are commanded to live by our rules irrespective of your conscience. Respect our rules and laws while we disrespect your moral conscience and God’s law.
The 1st Amendment gives us this protection against governmental tyranny.

Here is the 1st Amendment.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

“Prohibiting the free exercise thereof” is what Judge Bunning did to Kim Davis.

In essence, because there is no law stating that a clerk MUST give a license to homosexuals, the judge legislated from the bench, stating that this is the law of the land, where there is no law made by Congress, and incarcerated Kim Davis for contempt of court. This intimidation tactic was designed to suppress her right to exercise her religious objection to issue a marriage license to practicing homosexuals.

Homosexuality is condemned by God in the Scriptures and there is no need to run references with the exception of Leviticus 18:22 and Romans 1:18-32.

We must also remember the Civil Rights movement was born out of civil disobedience to laws that were already in the books in the states.

Again, I remind you that there is no law in the books regarding homosexual marriage in the U.S. Constitution or Kentucky law, but in the Civil Rights movement, civil disobedience was warranted because there were laws in the books. Hence, the Civil Rights laws were created by the only law making body in the United States.

So how can Kim Davis be illegally tried and unlawfully incarcerated for a law that doesn’t exist?

It’s judicial tyranny.

Finally, the “law of the land” argument is a “phantom law” argument.

Congress can draft and make laws. Not any judge and not the president.

There is no “law of the land” made by Congress for homosexual marriage to be legal in the United States.

Kim Davis did her job and she is to be commended for civil disobedience to a law that doesn’t exist.

I can understand the intent behind “Christian Disobedience.”

Lately BLM (Black Lives Matters) has been approving the killing of police officers, unlawful uprisings to destroy property, and other vicious forms of destruction to make a point.

With the Kim Davis incident, there is no comparison.

She did what Acts 5:29 says, “We rather obey God than man.”

Romans 13 teaches every born again believer to follow the laws of God’s appointed ministers that oversee the orderly activities of man. When the laws of man conflict with the Word of God, we cannot uphold, support, or obey a law of man that clearly violate the Scriptures. Even if it means losing our job, incarceration, or death.

In the 1600’s the puritans came from England to America to avoid religious persecution.

Now this persecution is about to engulf this once great land where freedom was sought. We do not pay enough attention to why they came. We are only interested in turning this once great nation into a land of immorality. For this to happen, morality must now be a thing of the past and anyone that says anything about God or the Bible must be snuffed out.

This only brings the wrath of God on this nation. As Christians, we must guard ourselves from anything that demands the suppression of the right to exercise what we believe in the Word of God.

God would never instruct us to disobey Him and obey the devil. And God would never instruct us to disobey man’s law that is in harmony with God’s Word.

Again, it is not lawful or right to tell Kim Davis to quit her job because she did her job in accordance with the law. As Kim Davis said, she was voted in as an elected official. Only the people that voted her in can vote her out. The judge has taken a page out of persecution, we respond according to Matthew 5:43-48. But we also respond by honoring God and His Word above man’s unjust laws.

We must also remember that the children of Israel perverted justice and changed the commandment of God by upholding their traditions. For this, they are severely judged, even to this day.

Until there is a specific law stating very clearly that a clerk MUST issue a marriage license to homosexuals, and until there is a change in the law from the Kentucky legislators of 402.005 Definition of marriage, civil disobedience is a page out of Acts 5:29 and commendable of the greatest Civil Rights struggle in US history.

We must remember that homosexuals are also liars in accordance with John 8:44.

They will go to great lengths to get a child of God to compromise. It is best to err on the side of the Word of God against the sin of homosexuality than to accommodate the sin of homosexuality.

Man’s temporary persecution is far better than God’s hot displeasure.

Pastor Commits Suicide Over Ashley Madison Hack Discovery

We understand the impact of this incident that potentially over 400 pastor’s would be revealed. However, sometimes we do not count on a pastor to commit suicide. Sadly, it may not be the last pastoral suicide for pastors with their names caught on the list.

We grieve for the family he left behind. They somehow have to pick up the pieces to understand the magnitude of his Secret Sexual Sins and his suicide. Grace and healing is available from the throne of God. It will take time and we should understand that. No family speedily recovers from this tragedy. However, recovery and healing is possible. No one can ever fathom the loss, let alone the reason behind this tragic loss.

It is not safe to say that there would be no more pastoral suicides. Pastoral suicides has become all too common. We really do not know how many pastors commit suicide after such a discovery, but it is beginning to seem like there is no other reason. We know that the work load of a pastor, depending upon demographics, attendance, and counseling of people will take its toll.

Few know how to get away and get with God to recover.

Being a pastor places a strain on marriages.

While we do not know the inner details of their marriage, it is enough to say that every marriage is different. Dynamics are different and how to gauge the health of a marriage can only be done by the couple going through the marriage and what steps ministers and wives take to navigate the difficulties associated with marriage and ministry.

Sadly, the other end of the spectrum is that most pastors believe that they are indispensable. Or that they are super heroes and can save everybody while refusing to look after themselves. We are not saying that this is the reason, but it could be a vital part of the equation.

The other thing that is of grave importance is the pastor’s secret lives and their sexual activities outside of their marriages.

Secret lives include porn and masturbation, combined with acting out sexually with persons other than your wife, to be very specific. It underscores the importance to get before God to keep your heart clean, and to have “other eyes” on your life that you feel safe to let your hair down.

No pastor and his wife can do no wrong than to have someone to talk to and be transparent with to ensure that the devil has no place in their lives. Men are more vulnerable and too, they are more frightened to expose the secrets lurking in the hearts. It makes them feel less of a man and out of control.

But we should already know that God see us (see Psalm 90:8), and our secret sins are before the countenance of God.

The devil takes no prisoners according to John 10:10 and 1 Peter 5:8-9a. Therefore we should do everything in our power to keep our heart from traveling into the dark places. For in the dark places, no pastor can fellowship with God while walking with devils.

We pray God’s comfort on the family.

The story about this sad tragedy could be read here.
