Sexual Immorality & Christianity

1 Corinthians 6:18 (NKJV) “Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.”

It’s not a one denominational or non denominational thing.

To assume that sexual immorality operates only in one place is not to be taken. Every denomination, and every non denomination may have been touched. From scandals among pastors, leaders, and parishioners, it’s a very sinful problem.

The reasons for sexual immorality among churches varies. One thing is certain, self control, a fruit of the Spirit in true believers, obedience to the Scriptures, accountability partners, and constantly watching every thing about you and your surroundings can stop sexual immorality from consuming you.

Is it possible?

It’s left up to you. The Lord God did everything that He’s going to do to redeem us. Even defeating the power and guilt of sin on the cross of Christ.

Your willingness to obey His Word is now required, demanded, and commanded. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil is constantly before us. We are one decision away from death or keeping our life.

Adam and Eve brought death into the world by disobeying the commandment of God.

Romans 5:12 (NKJV) “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—”

Romans 5:19 (NKJV) “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.

Who and what are we willing to obey to keep sexual sins out of our lives? To what extent are we willing to go to close the door on sexual immorality?

For years, sexual immorality was a major part of my life. Lusting after the flesh. Gratifying myself for personal pleasure. I thought that I could have both, but I was deceiving myself. Watching porn and solo fantasy sex.

I was among many pastors, church leaders, and parishioners trapped in the dark world of pornography. It’s a secret. No one knew but myself, the devil that had me bound, and ultimately, God.

Hebrews 4:13 (NKJV) “And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”

When you can easily deceive yourself into thinking that you would not have to give an account, it’s very easy to sin.

Romans 1:18-19 (NKJV) “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.”

To suppress means to hold it down.

In order to sin, you have to overcome the conviction. You have to force your mind into thinking that you will not fall under the wrath of God, but it’s futile.

It’s a mindless wasted exercise to justify the love of sin in defiance of God’s commandments.

Sexual immorality became god in my life.

Exodus 20:3 says “You shall have no other gods before Me.”

Christ was last in my life. Anything that comes before God is not second. It’s last.

Matthew 22:36-40 (NKJV) “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

You can’t love the Lord and love sin at the same time. You have to make a decision because the decision determines destiny. Eternal destiny.

God competes with no one.

2 Timothy 3:4-5 (NKJV) “…lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.”

We have to decide whether or not the pleasures of this life becomes lord or the Lord of lords.

Luke 8:14 (NKJV) “Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.”

In the parable of the sower, the Lord is teaching about where people are in relationship to Him. The only place where a believer is fruitful is when he’s on good ground producing good fruit.

The pleasures of this life brought no fruit to maturity. In other words, I was unfruitful (see John 15:1-8).

Whenever there’s sin, it’s a bad tree producing bad fruit.

There comes a point where I had to stop pretending that I was producing good fruit and accept the truth that I am a bad tree producing bad fruit.

This same mentality happens in every place of worship. We pretend to be holy, sanctified, righteous, and when we look deep inside us, we know that we’re a bad tree.

It’s easy to point the finger at other denominations and non denominations. Why? Because it takes the attention off of you. In self righteousness, we write about what they’ve done while we do our own thing in hypocrisy.

One of the greatest sermon that Jesus preached were to the spiritual leadership in Israel. Hypocrites. Serpents. Brood of vipers. Sepulchers. Blind guides. Fools and blind. Blind Pharisee.

Preachers today, most of them, are following the same pattern.

We hide behind our persona, our charismatic personality. In the eyesight of people, we could do no wrong. But before the Lord, every secret thing is before Him.

We have to understand that among wheat are tares. Among the righteous are those that give the appearance of righteousness. We say the right thing. SOMETIMES. But it’s just a matter of time before we let the cat out of the bag or that the Lord have had enough and exposes us for who and what we really are.

God embarrasses us because He is looking to redeem us if we’re willing to repent and turn from our wicked ways. He’s given so much time to repent. We take advantage of His grace, goodness, kindness, and love.

By staying in the place of a perverted pretender, we slap aside His mercy because the enjoyment of pleasure consumes us. Totally obsessed with sexual immorality, we allow ourselves to be fully possessed by demons.

We switch from pretending to be a man of God to a man predominantly of satan.

We don’t think that we would die. We honestly think that we will live forever, but the clock never lies. God, at anytime could snatch our breath. But the thought of the pleasure overrides the thought of being judged for sexual sins.

The other pastor, church leader, parishioner will die. But not me.

Like a fool, our pretending comes to an abrupt end.

One way or another.

That’s why sexual immorality in Christianity goes on. There’s no fear of God, no fear of His wrath. No fear of His judgment.

Until this fear returns, Christianity will continue to have blemishes, spots, wrinkles.

But not for long.

Many will catch themselves like the prodigal son and receive the chastising correction as sons. This correction is necessary and painful.

Then there’s the tares.

The poisonous ones among the wheat. They will be gathered, bundled and burned.

2 Corinthians 6:14 – 7:1 (NKJV) Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
“I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.”
Therefore
“Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.”
“I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the LORD Almighty.”
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”

Molech. The king of Abortion. (Part 1).

Molech. The king of Abortion. THIS IS PART 1 of a 4 part series.

The origins of out of the womb abortion predates the Israeli nation. God is judging the Canaanite nations for its sins, including casting their babies in the fire in worship to Molech. Modern day abortion is now inside the mother’s womb.

The coat hangers was the back alley way of ending the life of a baby. Today, medicine murder occurs. In the United States, from 1973, 63 million lives were taken. The male and female engaged in fornication and adultery.

This is a sin before God. Just because man makes it legal, it doesn’t mean that it’s moral. The Scriptures is final authority, and God will judge the secrets of men’s hearts by the Lord Jesus Christ.

Some of you may be offended, but the only reason why people are offended is because the truth from God offends. For years, has man progressed with medicine, and the means of killing have increased.

Man has devised many ways to kill a person. Man has figured out how to kill a baby from inside the safest place for a child that’s conceived. The womb. But centuries ago, they would have to wait until the child is born, and then out right murder the child. God has put in the conscience of every person, His commandments.

And man’s conscience is offended when he violates God’s commandments. So, man need to find a way to make it legal so that the truth no longer afflicts the conscience. But no law of man could ever lessen the conviction of sin in the conscience.

In the land of Canaan, they’ve devised a way to kill babies. With the depraved thinking of man, it’s easy to come up with ways to make killing acceptable. But the Canaanites were crude and cruel. Idol worship comes from devils.

1 Timothy 4:1-2 (NKJV) “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron…”

Deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons isn’t something that’s new. Seducing spirits and doctrines of devils came about as man refused to worship the true and living God.

The word “Deceiving” or “seduced” comes from Strong’s Dictionary of Biblical Words, planos; roving as a tramp, i.e. (by implication) an impostor or misleader; — deceiver, seducing. Any further Greek or Hebrew references will be from Strong’s Dictionary of Biblical Words or Vine’s Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words, or Biblical Words.

To deceive is to mislead and to take you in the wrong direction. To have an “idea or impression.”

So deceiving spirits and teachings of demons is the point. Now notice the word “doctrines.”  it means instruction (the function or the information): — learning, teaching.

It may seem much, but it’s necessary to read the Scriptures to get as much Scriptural background as possible on the subject of abortion because everything has an origin.

Leviticus 18:21 (NKJV) “And you shall not let any of your descendants pass through the fire to Molech, nor shall you profane the name of your God: I am the LORD.”

Deuteronomy 18:9-14 (NKJV) “When you come into the land which the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the LORD, and because of these abominations the LORD your God drives them out from before you. You shall be blameless before the LORD your God. For these nations which you will dispossess listened to soothsayers and diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not appointed such for you.”

2 Kings 16:1-4 (NKJV) “In the seventeenth year of Pekah the son of Remaliah, Ahaz the son of Jotham, king of Judah, began to reign. Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and he did not do what was right in the sight of the LORD his God, as his father David had done. But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel; indeed he made his son pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the nations whom the LORD had cast out from before the children of Israel. And he sacrificed and burned incense on the high places, on the hills, and under every green tree.”

2 Kings 17:5-24 (NKJV) “Now the king of Assyria went throughout all the land, and went up to Samaria and besieged it for three years. In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria took Samaria and carried Israel away to Assyria, and placed them in Halah and by the Habor, the River of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.

For so it was that the children of Israel had sinned against the LORD their God, who had brought them up out of the land of Egypt, from under the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and they had feared other gods, and had walked in the statutes of the nations whom the LORD had cast out from before the children of Israel, and of the kings of Israel, which they had made.

Also the children of Israel secretly did against the LORD their God things that were not right, and they built for themselves high places in all their cities, from watchtower to fortified city. They set up for themselves sacred pillars and wooden images on every high hill and under every green tree.

There they burned incense on all the high places, like the nations whom the LORD had carried away before them; and they did wicked things to provoke the LORD to anger, for they served idols, of which the LORD had said to them, “You shall not do this thing.”

Yet the LORD testified against Israel and against Judah, by all of His prophets, every seer, saying, “Turn from your evil ways, and keep My commandments and My statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by My servants the prophets.”

Nevertheless they would not hear, but stiffened their necks, like the necks of their fathers, who did not believe in the LORD their God. And they rejected His statutes and His covenant that He had made with their fathers, and His testimonies which He had testified against them; they followed idols, became idolaters, and went after the nations who were all around them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them that they should not do like them.

So they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, made for themselves a molded image and two calves, made a wooden image and worshiped all the host of heaven, and served Baal. And they caused their sons and daughters to pass through the fire, practiced witchcraft and soothsaying, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him to anger.

Therefore the LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them from His sight; there was none left but the tribe of Judah alone. Also Judah did not keep the commandments of the LORD their God, but walked in the statutes of Israel which they made.

And the LORD rejected all the descendants of Israel, afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of plunderers, until He had cast them from His sight. For He tore Israel from the house of David, and they made Jeroboam the son of Nebat king.

Then Jeroboam drove Israel from following the LORD, and made them commit a great sin. For the children of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he did; they did not depart from them, until the LORD removed Israel out of His sight, as He had said by all His servants the prophets. So Israel was carried away from their own land to Assyria, as it is to this day.”

This is the conclusion of part one. We are laying the foundation for the origins of abortion.

Part 2 is next.

Sexual Abuse: It Won’t Be The Last

Back in 2009, when the Lord almost exposed my porn habit, I’ve repented from the sin of lusting after the flesh. It was the mercy of God that prevented my life from being snatched by God in sin.

Then I did a study on why I did what I’ve done. After this study, the Lord constantly exposed preacher after preacher.

Then I looked, and understood that “It won’t be the last.”

We don’t take pleasure in the exposure of a church or denomination, but when the fear of the Lord is missing, it’s very easy to allow and excuse sin.

Ecclesiastes 8:11-13 (NKJV) “Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him. But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will he prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God.”

1 Corinthians 10:12 (NKJV) “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.”

The Southern Baptist Church on paper, looked like a stellar denomination. Recently it fought against CRT (critical race theory), homosexuality, abortion, and other issues.

It’s the largest Protestant denomination with 14 million members.

But like the Catholics, the Jehovah’s Witness, and certain non denominational Word of Faith places, sexual scandals emerged. Among their highest leaders, they’ve kept sexual abuse a secret……………….for 20 plus years.

You think that they Lord would keep it a secret?

If you take a look at The Book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ, 5 of 7 churches had issues. The church at Thyatira. A pastor allowed a female to teach sexual immorality. She called herself a prophetess. The Lord Jesus called her Jezebel.

In the OT, Jezebel from the Sidonians, was married to Ahab.

1 Kings 16:30-31 (NKJV) “Now Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD, more than all who were before him. And it came to pass, as though it had been a trivial thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took as wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal, king of the Sidonians; and he went and served Baal and worshiped him.”

If you read about the history of Ethbaal, he took power by violence. He killed his rival and assumed power. She learned her lesson well from her father that to keep power, you use death and sexual immorality.

1 Kings 18:17-19 (NKJV)

Then it happened, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said to him, “Is that you, O troubler of Israel?” And he answered, “I have not troubled Israel, but you and your father’s house have, in that you have forsaken the commandments of the LORD and have followed the Baals. Now therefore, send and gather all Israel to me on Mount Carmel, the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal, and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.”

Who is Asherah?

Glad you’ve asked.

Asherah is a Canaanite goddess.

According to Smith’s Bible Dictionary, “Asherah- means “straight.” Idol of the Phoenician goddess (2 Kings 21:7; 23:6). Grove in the KJV. Perhaps a head or bust on a straight pillar.”

Make no mistake about it that almost anytime you deal with goddesses, sexual immorality is very close, if not, at the top of the list when it comes to idol worship.

I’ve often wondered what made idol worship so attractive?

Why would I offer sacrifice to a god or goddess?

There has to be an incentive. An attractive incentive.

2 Kings 23:4-7 (NKJV)

“And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, the priests of the second order, and the doorkeepers, to bring out of the temple of the LORD all the articles that were made for Baal, for Asherah, and for all the host of heaven; and he burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried their ashes to Bethel.

Then he removed the idolatrous priests whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense on the high places in the cities of Judah and in the places all around Jerusalem, and those who burned incense to Baal, to the sun, to the moon, to the constellations, and to all the host of heaven.

And he brought out the wooden image from the house of the LORD, to the Brook Kidron outside Jerusalem, burned it at the Brook Kidron and ground it to ashes, and threw its ashes on the graves of the common people.

Then he tore down the ritual booths of the perverted persons that were in the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the wooden image.”

Now when you see Asherah again in another portion of Scripture, the rule is, you let Scripture interpret Scripture.

In this passage, Josiah is the king that is bringing reform to the nation of Israel. It was Josiah that tore down everything that wasn’t of the Lord.

But did you take note of the “booths?’

We all know that all you have to do is put two and two together. In this case, homosexuals were in these “booths.”

Back in the day, in NYC, on 42 Street and in other areas around it, there would be “booths.” Peep shows. All sorts of sexual immorality would be in these places.

But notice that in the Scripture, women would weave hangings for “wooden image.” Now you’re left up to imagine what these wooden images were.

Imagine no further. They were of a graphic sexual nature. Phallic symbol.

The reason I’m bringing these Scriptures to light is to show the interconnectedness of sexual immorality. That even in the house of worship, there is no ‘worship that’s in “spirit and in truth.”

Hidden in these places is the depths of sexual immorality.

Three things are happening.

ONE………. God is exposing the earth with the light of truth.

Luke 12:2 (NKJV) “For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.”

Hebrews 4:13 (NKJV) “And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”

Romans 14:10-12 (NKJV) “But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written:
“As I live, says the LORD,
Every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall confess to God.”

“So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.”

Our hidden secrets will be exposed.

Romans 2:12-16 (NKJV) “For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God,

but the doers of the law will be justified; for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts,

their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.”

Psalms 90:7-8 (NKJV) “For we have been consumed by Your anger,
And by Your wrath we are terrified.
You have set our iniquities before You,
Our secret sins in the light of Your countenance.”

So what are we to do?

Ephesians 5:8-14 (NKJV) “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.

But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.

Therefore He says:
“Awake, you who sleep,
Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light.”

TWO………He’s cleansing His church.

Ephesians 5:26-27 (NKJV) “…that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.”

The cleansing is happening before our eyes.

THREE………The tares are exposed among the wheat.

Matthew 13:24-30 (NKJV) “Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.

So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’

The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers,

“First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”‘”

Why is this happening?

The Lord is coming soon.

Finally, Matthew 7:21-23 (NKJV) “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’

And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

It’s not just the SBC. The Lord is searching everything. Remember, “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of those whose hearts are loyal to Him.”

Revelation 22:12-15 (NKJV) “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.”

Tampax In Boys Bathrooms In OR & The CA Governor Says Men CAN’T Get Pregnant

Matthew 19:4 (NKJV) “And He (Jesus) answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’

In the history of man, there’s NEVER been one male that ever menstruated.

In the history of women, there’s NEVER been one female that inseminated another woman.

It’s a biological impossibility for both.

Years ago, this would be preposterous for boys to even think that men could menstruate. It would be taboo for men to talk among women about a woman’s “cycle.”

Most young men that marry young never heard of the “cycle” until after marriage. The honeymoon would be nice. And then you find out that your wife is having menstrual cramps. In some cases, almost unbearable, and you can’t have sex because she’s having her period.

All of a sudden, a new dimension of the female anatomy comes into play.

You might be offended, but 5 decades ago, when boys would be boys, we would call other boys “sissies.” We would even joke about tampons. And then we would fight to prove that we weren’t sissies wearing tampons.

Even when your manhood was challenged, some of us had no clue about tampons. But today, boys and men are offended. In fact, a discrimination lawsuit may be filed against you because of your belief that as a male, you identify as a woman.

1 Corinthians 14:33 (NKJV) “For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.”

The word “confusion” from Strong’s Dictionary of NT Words is

g0181. ἀκαταστασία akatastasia; from 182; instability, i.e. disorder: — commotion, confusion, tumult.
AV (5) – confusion 2, tumult 2, commotion 1;
instability, a state of disorder, disturbance, confusion

You see. God isn’t confused. God isn’t unstable. God isn’t in a state of disorder.

Fallen man is.

Isaiah 29:15-16 (NKJV) “Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the LORD, and their works are in the dark; They say, “Who sees us?” and, “Who knows us?” Surely you have things turned around! Shall the potter be esteemed as the clay; For shall the thing made say of him who made it, “He did not make me”? Or shall the thing formed say of him who formed it,”He has no understanding”?

You see. The world is confused. Not God. God knew exactly what He was doing when He created us. After Adam sinned against God, confusion came.

And the biggest thing that fallen man is doing is that they’re trying to get you to be just as confused as they are. And if you reject their confusion, it’s disinformation. It’s misinformation. It’s malicious information.

In other words, the truth is the enemy and the lie is your friend.

So the female Democratic governor of Oregon has decided to put tampons in boys bathrooms. But the male Democratic governor of California is arguing about Roe v Wade and stated that men aren’t women.

Can you see the contradiction?

A woman governor is telling boys that identify as a woman can have “cycles,” but the male governor is telling folks that men are not women and that they must defend the woman’s right to chose to kill a baby.

You will never see a man giving birth. He’s not equipped to give birth.

So don’t be fooled into thinking the way they think.

So in order for you to accept confusion, you must suppress the truth.

Romans 1:18-19 (NKJV) “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.”

The word “suppress” is defined from Strong’s Dictionary of NT Words…

g2722. κατέχω katechō; from 2596 and 2192; to hold down (fast), in various applications (literally or figuratively): — have, hold (fast), keep (in memory), let, x make toward, possess, retain, seize on, stay, take, withhold.

So the world is attempting to hold down the truth.

Isaiah 5:20-21 (NKJV) “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, And prudent in their own sight!”

You see. In the confused mind of fallen man, they swap truth and the lie. Bitter for sweet. Light for darkness.

That’s why there’s an information war.

Now there will be preachers in the pulpit in the coming days that will accept this fallacy. They will say that if a man feels like a woman, they can go to the woman’s restroom. But you’ve opened to door for pedophilia and rape in the house of the Lord.

Folks. When you see a pastor accept the confusion of the world, he’s no longer a pastor. Or was never a pastor to begin with. You need to make for the exits.

But on the other hand, we have so called preachers that will never confront the sin of the sinners to keep them in their seats.

1 John 2:18-19 (NKJV) “Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.”

The age that we’re living in is the age of the Antichrist.

But guess what?

1 John 4:1-6 (NKJV) “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,

and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.

We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

So don’t be confused as the world.

1 Peter 3:13-17 (NKJV) “And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.”

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed.

For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.”

1 Peter 4:1-6 (NKJV) “Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you.

They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.”
