Acts 18:9-11 (NKJV Strong’s) “Now the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, “Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city.” And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.”
Paul was on assignment and it appears that he may have been apprehensive about ministering, knowing that he would be attacked. But the Lord gave Paul a word to calm him so Paul could complete the work he was assigned to do.
Attacks are common when you strike a cord.
That’s why it takes courage and fearlessness to address the issues of the day and bring truth to bears so people won’t be deceived.
And that’s why true believers get attacked.
The deception must continue and if truth reveals things, the deception is uncovered. Most of the time, revealing the deception will not stop people. They forge ahead, hoping that not too many people will listen to the truth and forsake sin.
Or they use other “means” to stop the truth bearer in an attempt to halt the spread of truth.
But has anyone noticed that when the truth came out, that whatever people have done to stop the truth, utterly FAILED?
God uses people redundantly.
In other words, when the world is somewhat successful in stopping one person, the Lord has someone in reserve to pick up where they’ve left off.
No matter what happens, when truth is released, there’s nothing that anyone could do to stop it.
No one attacks a firefighter when they enter a building to save people from almost certain death.
No one attacks a police officer when they enter a building to protect people from criminals.
But people will attack a preacher or a child of God when they tell people the truth.
Silence is what the world demands.
Keep what you practice inside your house of worship. And then, when you post it on YouTube or other means of visual communications, or to even blog, you’ve stepped into the public arena where others will be “offended.”
But no one told you to click the link.
No one made you click to listen to or read the article.
Voluntarily, you elected to listen to or read the article, then you were offended, and you seek to silence them before others voluntarily click the link to read or to listen to truth.
If you weren’t interested, you wouldn’t bother. But you did.
The 1st Amendment in the United States is the most important Amendment in the Constitution. Without it, people wouldn’t be able to say what they want to say with impunity. Granted, we understand that speech must not incite hatred, riots, and other lawless activities to physically hurt people.
We also understand that certain foolish speech may spark things.
But within wisdom, tact, and purpose, free speech is a blessing.
People in the United States have enjoyed this for over 240 years.
But when you see a concerted effort to destroy free speech because of truth being released, it’s a clear and present danger to any society.
The real enemy are the opponents of free speech that brings truth to bear on certain things and activities involving people. Sadly, people will do everything in their power to protect people that’s involved in certain sins.
But what we’re also seeing is that people entrusted with truth capitulate in fear of lawsuits, violence, and other acts to discourage people from speaking the truth in love.
But those of us that are involve in giving the truth desire nothing less than to put the truth out, even at the cost of our lives, livelihood, and expense.
Jesus gave His life to free people from the guilt and power of sin.
It’s only fitting for us to do the same.
Attacks will continue. We get it.
But we will not run from publishing the truth, that others may be freed by the power of Jesus’ life, death, burial, and resurrection.
Luke 12:2 (NKJV Strong’s) “For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.”
The one thing about polls is that it’s extremely unreliable.
When you click to read the end of this article from NBC News, you will see MSM put their spin on it by conflicting the intent of the article, flip it, and give the appearance that support isn’t declining.
More like what satan did in the Garden of Eden to give the appearance that God didn’t mean what He said.
The death of Adam and Eve, and our coming death is concrete proof that God meant what He said.
Just like support for abortion is waning, support for people that declare their homosexuality among family members may be on the decline.
More family members are looking at the totality of the culture.
Look at the diseases associated with homosexuality. The cost per life since HIV/AIDS was defined. The associated drug use in connection. The human trafficking that’s involved.
But more and more, we’re seeing LGBT continue to push acceptance any way they can. But it’s not just acceptance, it’s using the rule of law to force people to accept homosexuality or they will be fined, lose their employment, lose their business, incarceration, vilification, and other forms of oppression should you vehemently disagree with homosexuality.
We’ve been saying this after the Obergefell v Hodges decision from the Supreme Court that homosexuals will not stop there.
It wasn’t going to stop when homosexuals get the right to go to city hall and get a marriage certificate.
It’s when true believers of Jesus Christ are forced to preach that homosexuality isn’t sin. It’s when perversion is normal.
The indoctrination push continues with introducing homosexuality to toddlers and very young impressionable people.
Remember, homosexuals can’t copulate to conceive children.
They have to use all sorts of other methods to recruit new homosexuals.
For some, not all, molestation is the common reason why many fall into the pitfall of homosexuality. We must remember that sin is part of the “…spirit that now works in the sons of disobedience.”
The trafficking of demon spirits that operates in fallen man will take males and females as far as they can go to completely engulf the world into darkness. And this is just another indication that we’re in the last days.
So if acceptance is declining, not so fast.
The Bible still tells us to “be sober” and to “be vigilant.”
Let’s not celebrate and then fall asleep.
We all know that the enemy has many episodes left to further plunge mankind into eternity in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone.

Well businesses are refusing service to Christians, local Christian assemblies, and groups that express their true Biblical beliefs regarding homosexuals, gays, bisexuals, and transgenders.
If any Christian, local assembly, or Christian group, express “hatred” against the sin of homosexuality, they will be asked not to come to their establishment.
No different than when the Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders and her family were asked to leave because the manager took to heart what Congresswoman Maxine Waters said in her speech to confront Trump administration officials anywhere.
Free speech is under attack and it should be no surprise to any of us.
What you believe is under attack.
The right to express and practice what you believe is under attack.
There’s a difference between hating a person and hating the sin a person is participating in. Now many people will disagree with this by saying that there’s no difference.
In other words, hate the sinner AND the sin they’re in.
Matthew 5:43-44 (NKJV Strong’s) “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you…”
Jesus teaches all real genuine believers to do the opposite.
“Love your enemies.”
This is tough for people with minds that refuse to be renewed.
Paul said in Romans 12:2 “…and be not conformed to this world, but be transformed, by the renewing of your minds…”
Paul also said “…but speaking the truth in love…”
If you have hatred in your heart towards an enemy, the love of God is not in you, and you’re not obeying the teaching of Jesus.
God is not commanding you to change the status of the enemy but to love them.
We all know that homosexuals are militant because they want to remain in the bondage of sin. They’re enemies of the cross of Christ. Most of them, not all of them, have a very direct hatred for anyone that tell them that they’re in sin.
That’s because they don’t believe that what they’re doing in sin is wrong.
Now when it comes to homosexuals that consistently practice homosexuality, they’re not saved. Therefore, they’re not considered “brothers” in the Lord.
So since you’re unwilling to compromise and capitulate to their position, homosexuals will use every available tool to express their hatred of you.
By using fines, job loss, vilification, criminal acts of assault, they do this just to make things miserable for true believers.
But true believers of the Lord would never do these things against homosexuals.
Fase believers will.
Jesus expressed His love for sinners by sacrificing His body on the cross to save every man.
Even to the point of loving those that participated in His crucifixion.
That’s true love.
Now just because you may be a participant in a denomination, it doesn’t make a person a believer in the Body of Christ.
Notice what John said in 1 John 3:4-9 (NKJV Strong’s) “Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.”
The Bible is very clear about the conduct of believers and unbelievers.
Jesus said in Matthew 7:21-23 (NKJV Strong’s) “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
So if you practice the sin of homosexuality, you’re lawless.
IF you abide in Jesus, you do not practice what’s lawless (unrighteous). You practice what’s (righteous) lawful.
Having said that, true believers ought not operate in hatred.
This is not to say that this Baptist group operated in hatred. It is the accusers that claim that these Christians hate because of what they believe about the sin of homosexuality.
1 John 4:18-21 (NKJV Strong’s) “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.
If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.”
For homosexuals to claim that true believers are “homophobic,” perfect love casts out fear. We’re not fearful of homosexuals, or what they’ll use to make us conform to their wishes.
We have no fear of homosexuals or their tools to force conformity and enforce acceptation.
We fear the Lord and His Word.
This Scripture above is speaking to us about our Christian acquaintances.
However, we see the same principle should be applied to those that aren’t believers according to Matthew 5:43-44.
So each establishment could do whatever they want to deny services. And yes, it’s discriminatory. Make no mistake about it.
But true believers have choices too.
Taking your business elsewhere isn’t considered an act of hatred towards a business.
It’s an act of disassociating yourself with a business that exercised discriminatory hatred of you and your beliefs.
They don’t want to associate with you, and you in kind, don’t want to associate yourself with them. No harm no fowl.
There’s no reconciling the hatred of people or establishments.
We can choose to avoid patronizing Cracker Barrel and communicate avoiding this and other places of business that demand we conform to their wishes.
If they refuse service, we will not vilify them.
We just take our business elsewhere.
However, we should also avoid hatred in doing so, walk in love, and pray for them which despitefully use and persecute us.

According to this article, with 1.1 million people carrying the HIV virus, it’s clear that to prevent further infections, the world is quickly devising medical means to curb infection.
Well, the best way is to abstain from sexual sins is repentance, be born again, and declare Jesus as Lord over your life. Living a life of holiness, to never commit sin again. Committing yourself to a life of righteousness in obedience to the Scriptures, to walk in purity.
Sadly, very few will listen to the Scriptures because the impulse and urges of committing sin is obeyed in the flesh. Sin is an offer that could be taken or refused.
Now for the uninsured, according to this article below, this medicine will cost $2,000.00.
It appears that there will be an influx of people willing to fork over the money to continue to engage in risky sexual sins. But we all know that people will not come up with the money, they will also forego wearing any condoms (false safe sex), and we’re back to square one.
But what about the other STDs associated with sexual sins?
In certain parts of the world, some STDs are mutating against common anecdotes.
Meaning that STDs are getting smarter in combating the physical cure.
It’s amazing how diseases are thinking diseases that out think and out maneuver a cure.
This possibly means, over time, this “preventative” medicine might get outsmarted.
There’s no such thing as “safe” fornication, adultery, bisexuality, or homosexuality.
Besides, if this is what they would term as a breakthrough, then why not offer this “preventative” medicine for free?
Then you have AHA, the Affordable Healthcare Act, commonly known as Obamacare, that’s supposed to pay for this.
Numbers 32:23b says (NKJV Strong’s) “…and be sure your sin will find you out.”
Since the disease became commonly known, this preventative medicine is part of the agenda……from vilifying anyone preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, to applying stigmatization titles on the righteous (homophobia), to making those that practice the vile sin of homosexuality out to be the victim, by passing hate crimes legislation, make homosexuals appear to be worthy of sympathy and empathy, to passing same sex marriage laws to further make the sinful behavior of homosexuality generally acceptable, to indoctrinating children to engage in homosexuality, to questioning a person’s gender from birth, to neutralizing a person’s gender and change it on their birth certificate, to writing gender neutral Bibles, to arresting street preachers for preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to homosexuals, to allowing boys to dress like girls, and short masculine style haircuts for girls and women, the use of opposite sex bathrooms if you feel like a boy or girl, and other things.
This is going to continue.
With over 300 million Americans in the United States, a very small population of people has imposed its will on 99% of Americans.
This “preventative” medicine will further embolden many homosexuals to continue their conquest to engage in sexual sins.
Make no mistake about it.

Shall We Continue In Sin….
There are many believers, or at the very least, people that profess to be believers that will not live by the Word of God. Many of them watch TV, movies, porn, their friends and can’t seem to break away. You mean to tell me that it is a sin to watch TV? No. What you are watching as far as content is the sin.
There are many professed believers that do not have a problem watching soft porn on network TV. Which usually is an indication that you are watching porn or doing chatroom masturbation or illicit sex.
They attend a service on Sunday, or they do not attend at all. They watch services at home, and they live any kind of way they please.
They hear preachers preach the Word and they watch preachers live just as they do.
It’s no wonder that the rebel refuses the Word of God when the real preachers show up.
Not some of the ones in LA (or any where else for that matter) either.
And we wonder what is wrong with the people that come to the house of God.
The solution is so simple that many will not accept it.
2 Corinthians 6:14-18 is a fairy tale to most people in the Body of Christ. You really say to the Lord that He didn’t mean what He said, to “Come out from among them and be separate….”
You honestly believe that you can live in light and darkness at the same time. That you can have God and idols. That you can be a believer and have fellowship with unbelievers. That you can fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness and fellowship with God.
The thing that gets me is that when you get rebuked, you spit out excuses and venom instead of repenting. Your conscience is so seared that you completely ignore the fact that you were being helped. Instead, you accuse the righteous of not being loving.
If we didn’t love you, we would rebel against God ourselves and not tell you so you could bust hell wide open.
Then there are believers that have so much against pastors, the people in the house of God, and you accuse the righteous of placing unnecessary burdens. As long as we are on this earth, and the Lord instructs us to warn you, we will do so. When, after we’ve warned you that you continue to refuse to listen, it’s on you.
I know. “Then it’s on me”, you say. “Leave me be!!!!”
I believe that we have forgotten the reason why the Lord Jesus suffered and died for us. We have gotten to the place where all Jesus came to do was to teach us how to live. Yes, that’s partly why He came, but the first thing that John, the Baptist said when he saw Jesus.
“Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.”
We come back to the main reason why Jesus came. To free us all from sin. The Bible tells us that “Sin is lawlessness.”
What is lawlessness? A deliberate refusal to be governed by God and His Word.
That is, you make up what you want to govern you. And you make up what you do not want to be governed by. You become a law to yourself. Whatever goes, goes.
“Man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”
This was said by Jesus during His time of temptation.
When a person refuse to live by the Word of God, they are living by the word of satan.
The title “satan” means adversary.
We forget that the devil is opposite of God, or opposed of God. There are many people that claim to be a child of God that oppose God. When they are corrected, they rebuke the correction.
Like Esau, they throw aside their birthright because of fatigue. They grow tired of working out their own soul salvation. They grow tired living holy for God.
Listen to the prophet Malachi
“Your words have been harsh against Me,”
Says the Lord,“Yet you say,
‘What have we spoken against You?’
You have said,
‘It is useless to serve God;
What profit is it that we have kept His ordinance,
And that we have walked as mourners
Before the Lord of hosts?
So now we call the proud blessed,
For those who do wickedness are raised up;
They even tempt God and go free.’”
Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another,
And the Lord listened and heard them;
So a book of remembrance was written before Him
For those who fear the Lord
And who meditate on His name.
“They shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts,
“On the day that I make them My jewels.
And I will spare them
As a man spares his own son who serves him.
The Lord will not spare the unrighteous. The ones that determined that His Word is a burden. That there is no profit to fully serve God.
Notice what Paul quoted…..
As it is written:
“There is none righteous, no, not one;
There is none who understands;
There is none who seeks after God.
They have all turned aside;
They have together become unprofitable;
There is none who does good, no, not one.”
“ Their throat is an open tomb;
With their tongues they have practiced deceit”;
“The poison of asps is under their lips”;
“ Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”
“ Their feet are swift to shed blood;
Destruction and misery are in their ways;
And the way of peace they have not known.”
“There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
That’s the point.
The reason why professed believers do what they do is because “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
There is no reverence for the Word of God and His true and holy messengers.
Fine. Do not reverence the true and holy messengers of God, but have respect for God and His Word. I don’t care if you do not honor me or any preacher. At least honor God and His Word to the degree that when you see sin, you say something. Especially when you see sin from those that profess to be believers, working for the Lord.
If you let it pass, you are culpable and complicit. You are joint heir with their sins.
Silence is permission.
We live for whatever time the Lord gives us for one purpose. It’s an endurance race to see if you can handle the rigors of living eternally with Him forever. Many people backslide, fall away, and outright walk away from Jesus because the pleasures of sin are more appealing to them than righteousness.
Paul said, “The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
There are many people that profess to know Him that believe that they can live in sin and in righteousness at the same time. There are many believers that approve of the sins they commit and never correct them.
Paul said, “Preach the Word! Be instant in season and out of season. Reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound teaching, but will heap up for themselves teachers, having tickled ears. They will turn their ears away from the truth and they will turn unto fables.”
So when you tell believers to “Flee fornication” many of them will look at you cross eyed and do it any way because they know better than the warning in the Word of God. Nine months later, they bring their child to be dedicated to the Lord without the male that impregnated them in an attempt to cover their sin.
The smart pastor will ask where the male is. It takes two to get pregnant. Then the pastor will dedicate that child to the Lord but the sin must be dealt with first.
That’s what the new single mother is hoping that you wouldn’t do. Expose the sin. See, we are so quick to be lawless when all the Lord is doing is trying to help us. We provoke God and never ask for His help. Until we get into a tight spot. We get real and serious because we want Him to work it out. But we play God like a fiddle. As soon as He “help” us out, we go back to business as usual.
Instead of living for Him, we live for ourselves. We go back to the habits, patterns, and cycles that are destructive. It is usually when it is too late that we get serious.
Then when we hear from the righteous, we blame them for the Word that God gave us to give them. The righteous are to blame for the problems of this world. The righteous are to blame as to why things are the way they are.
But the righteous is doing what the Word says to do. Why blame the righteous for your fall? The righteous are party poopers. The righteous are always spoiling the fun. The righteous is always in the way.
You can live any way that you want to live. You can party. Have all the illicit sex you want. Watch porn, masturbate, sleep with your significant other (same sex or opposite sex). You can smoke, drink, drug yourself up, cuss and curse everything, including God.
Do as you will.
Who’s to stop you?
Even in hell you can do what you want. BUT….you will be in too much pain to have any pleasure.
Jesus said, “Where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Have you every tried to enjoy a pleasure while experiencing excruciating pain? All at the same time? Perhaps, you may have come close. But the pain of hell, and the pain of the lake which burns with fire and brimstone will not allow you to enjoy what you currently enjoy on earth called sin.
Just imaging a lake of lava. Now imagine yourself dancing in lava. Enjoying a smoke in lava. Naked and having illicit sex in lava. Getting your grind on with a body in lava. Enjoying a cold drink of Johnny Walker Red, or shot glasses of vodka in lava. Sitting in lava like you are on the sandy beach.
No. You will have all of your faculties in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone. You will be naked. You will burn forever with no relief because you refuse to believe in the only begotten Son of God. You believed that you were entitled to living the good life without living for the Lord. Living in lawlessness, doing what you want to do.
A word for all.
Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord!
Earlier in the week many of us has seen information regarding the possible capitulation of Chick Fil A. That there were back room negotiations. That Chick Fil A caved in to LGBT demands in connection with building more Chick Fil A restaurants in Chicago if Chick Fil A concede to the following demands, such as they are to no longer donate to organizations that are anti gay.
Governor Mike Huckabee, as you know, encouraged many believers to go and support Chick Fil A for standing up to the pressures of the LGBT community after Mr. Dan Cathy stated his unequivocal support for traditional family values that are Bible based, that marriage is between one man and one woman.
The Chick Fil A Appreciation Day was far beyond successful.
It was a defining moment in American history.
And it is worthy to mention that no other franchise made 18 million plus dollars in one day, in a downturn economy.
This one day validated free speech, but more importantly, the right to speak and represent the Lord, the Word of God, and traditional marriage, in accordance with Genesis 2:24.
For the most part, it appears that many in the LGBT community vehemently disagreed and the political henchmen went as far as to say that they would block any attempt of Chick Fil A to expand their business because Chick Fil A stood against LGBT’s poisonous sin.
Believers and non believers, all across the United States gathered peacefully. Not to protest. Just to support a man who stuck by Biblical principles and values.
We thought that there was a major capitulation on Chick Fil A’s part. Here is what we’ve learned from the FB post of Governor Mike Huckabee….
“I talked earlier today personally with Dan Cathy, CEO of Chick Fil-A about the new reports that Chick Fil-A had capitulated to demands of the supporters of same sex marriage. This is not true. The company continues to focus on the fair treatment of all of its customers and employees, but to end confusion gave me this statement:
“There continues to be erroneous implications in the media that Chick-fil-A changed our practices and priorities in order to obtain permission for a new restaurant in Chicago. That is incorrect. Chick-fil-A made no such concessions, and we remain true to who we are and who we have been.”
From the onset, having learned a lesson, you wait until it plays itself out. But I was still confused. You see, David went by the brook and got five smooth stones. But David only used one with tremendous results. Then a little while later, in 2 Samuel 21, Goliath’s sons came up. Four.
One thing about giants and fighting. You must finish the job that you started. The four sons of Goliath were killed by David’s skilled fighting men. At this time, Goliath’s four sons are showing up and it is time for the church to finish the job.
I was taken aback by the fact that why capitulate so soon after a resounding victory.
But the statement above is encouraging.
So, someone is lying.
The Bible tells us that the devil is a liar and the father of lies; that there is no truth in him.
The Bible also says, “Let God be true and every man a liar.”
So, Jesus also said that “You are of your father, the devil…”
So if you are not a born again child of God, and when you talk, it’s not going to be the truth. It’s going to be lies.
Is Mr. Cathy a child of the devil or a child of God?
Based on what we have heard and have seen, he is a child of God and speaks the truth.
There is no reason for Mr. Cathy to turn his back on the God he professes to serve. And there is no reason for him to walk away from the statement of honoring traditional family values and traditional marriage. What is there to gain? A couple of stores in Chicago? For what? And deny the true God?
What is the eternal trade off?
Heaven and Hell.
We are living in an apostate time where believers are walking away from the Lord at record pace. And for Mr. Cathy to capitulate, we wouldn’t have been surprised because of the intimidation of the enemy. However, Mr. Cathy’s statement is encouraging but we also need to watch this for a little while to ensure that it sticks.
This presidential election is more than just what will happen in the next four years. It is about who you are serving.
A vote, in either direction, for either candidate is a revelation of the God or god you serve. And sadly, evangelicals and other Christians, God loves them, they will vote for a baby killing, sin of homosexuality affirming president.
You better be.
We must start honoring the Word of God according to righteousness.
Why be against God and for sin? Are you mad? Have you lost your ever living mind?
It’s like watching a movie again and you are told to run….
We all know you may not be smart enough to run, so we might as well watch you get crushed.
With Mitt Romney, he is a Mormon.
Mormons by definition is a cult and not a part of main stream Christianity.
And sadly as well as pathetically, evangelicals are blind enough to put aside the stand on the Word of God for political purposes.
For the first time in Presidential elections, a protestant will not be on either ticket.
So the news of caving in was rather shocking, to say the least.
And that’s why we were so shocked. People that run from the Lord and His Word are cowards. You have to learn to make a stand when it’s unpopular to do so for fear of ridicule from the world.
If Mr. Cathy capitulated, then we need to sever ties and move on, and not look back and become a pillar of salt.
With opponents that hate God, the Word of God, and believers in Christ, it is expected for them to lie, cheat, steal, misquote, abuse Scripture, manipulate the law, persecute, perjure, kill, murder, slander, intimidate with schoolyard bully tactics, and create any sort of distortion to perpetuate and advance the sin of homosexuality.
Every bully has a bully waiting.
Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed with fire and brimstone, rained down from heaven.
The Bible tells us in Revelation 21:8….
“But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolators, and ALL LIARS shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone (the same substance used to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah), which is the second death.”
So whoever is the liar, will have their part.
We will continue to watch for any late breaking developments.

Covetousness; Greed Is Good? Copyright 2011. All Rights Reserved.
If you have many maxed out unsecured or secured credit cards, home equity loans, a mortgage on a house that is beyond your means to pay, car notes, personal loans, and other forms of debt, it is a clear indication that you are, or you were covetous.
In Luke 12, two brothers were fighting over their inheritance. The matter was brought before the Lord Jesus. The Lord Jesus told him, “Who made Me a judge or an arbitrator over you?” It seems to me that there was more to it than meets the eye.
First take note that the brother was standing in a crowd of people. He aired his sibling’s dirty laundry before the people. All in an effort to get the Lord Jesus to rule in his favor.
We do not know if his brother was present, but it appears that some people in the crowd knew these guys and word was to certainly get back. However, we see that it wasn’t for the Lord to rule because no one in the legal system made Him an arbitrator.
Then the Lord gets to the root of the issue.
“Take heed and beware of covetousness,” The Amplified Bible is quoted as saying,
“Guard yourselves and keep free from all covetousness (immoderate desire for wealth, the greedy longing to have more).
Immoderate is defined as “beyond reasonable limits.”
HOARDING; EXTREME COVETOUSNESS
There is a powerful series called “Hoarding.” It talks about people’s compulsive desire to accumulate things. Rat packing is a serious issue because when you have the ability to buy an item and then store it, you are creating a mess that becomes extremely difficult to deal with.
The sad part is that they grow emotionally attached to the various items in the house and will become very combative. The reasons for this kind of behavior varies from person to person but there is a consistent pattern common to most people that hoard.
1. An serious emotional event occurred in their lives that compelled them to shut down common sense and normal reasoning.
2. Accumulation was permitted to reach a stage where undoing what was done became unbearable. Not just for the person that is hoarding but for the family members that attempt to correct years of compulsive accumulation.
3. Emotional detachment ( a complete clean up) would mean death to them. In other words, each item gave them a warped reason to coexist and if a separation took place, they would freak out.
While I am addressing a total different subject, you do not have to be a hoarder to be covetous. Hoarding is just an extreme case of covetousness associated with traumatic events that immobilizes a person. The majority of their accumulated items become their memento to happy times before a tragedy or emotional trauma. It becomes for them their security or comfort. It is an extreme compulsion that has the potential to eventually kill a person.
One such case took place a few years ago. The man had so much stuff inside the house that it concealed his death for quite sometime. It was only until the mailman couldn’t put any more mail in his box that they decided to call the authorities.
When they tried to enter the front door, they could not go any further. It wasn’t the smell of his corpse that repelled the authorities. It was the accumulation of stuff that prevented access to the body. There was so much stuff in the house, they had to take it out, piece by piece before they could remove his corpse.
The parable of the sower is a classic example of where the hearts of people are. The most common place where people abide is among thorns. The seed, which is the word of God, is thrown among thorns where the Word is being choked with “cares, riches, and pleasures of this life.”
This is the place of covetousness.
STAYING FREE OF COVETOUSNESS
If God’s people want to stay free of covetousness, they must get to the place where the good ground is, where the seed will produce fruit. Those that are on good ground will always be content with what they have in life because of Psalm 23:1.
In Philippians 4:11-13, Paul gave us these powerful words.
“Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Paul didn’t permit his need to drive him to do things that would violate his relationship with the Lord and God’s people. He had a common sense approach to life. He went to work.
In 1 Timothy 6:6-10, Paul tells us,
“Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”
When the love of money became the only pursuit in the life of a believer, there is only one result. You will stray from the faith in greediness. Once again, it is a depiction of a believer that is among thorns where the word is choked because of “cares, riches, and pleasures of this life.”
Hebrews 13:5 tells us, “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you not forsake you.”
When everything runs out, the one thing that you will always count on is that God will never leave you nor forsake you. He will make a way so you won’t have to. It takes faith to trust God to get through in this life.
In none of these Scriptures do we see the Lord advocating that we do without, remain poor, or suffer lack. However, we do see that regardless of the conditions of our lives, we are to be content.
You will recall in 1 Kings 16, when Elijah walked up to Ahab and told him that there would be no rain for 3 and a half years (see James 5:17-18).
The Lord sent Elijah to Zarephath and commanded a widow woman to provide for Elijah.
When a nation refuses to repent of sin, dire conditions are released to nudge the leaders and the nation to the place of prayer to repent for the sins committed in the church and the nation.
If you carefully read the stories in the OT, you will see that the origin of these conditions began in Deuteronomy 28:1.
“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God:”
The downside of conditions always have one conclusion.
Deuteronomy 28:15 says,
“But is shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:”
While this Scripture appertains to the children of Israel based on the law, we must remember that the principle of obedience and righteousness to God is applied to every nation on the planet. While “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law” (see Galatians 3:13),” it is not a blank check to “…continue in sin that grace may abound” (see Romans 6:1).
Jesus did not die for our sins so that we can continue to sin.
RIGHTEOUSNESS EXALTS A NATION
Proverbs 14:34 says,
“Righteousness exalts a nation. but sin is a reproach to any people.”
Please note that it didn’t say, “Righteousness exalts only the nation of Israel.” The New Living Translations says,
“Godliness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.”
It is interesting to note what 1 Peter 2:9-12 says,
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.”
Notice that Peter called the church, “a holy nation.”
So when the church is holy, it is a godly nation. God, therefore, exalts that holy nation, within a nation. The rest of Proverbs 14:34 is appropriate for the sinful nation, including the church. When we are in sin, we are a disgraceful nation. If exaltation uplifts a nation, disgrace is the downfall of a nation.
ONE STATE AT A TIME
If you have noticed, the governor of Texas called for the State to enter into a time of prayer with fasting. He’s been getting heat but it seems to me that it will go forward regardless of the may lawsuits and fuss.
In Oklahoma, the governor is setting out time to pray for rain. Let me tell you. I think somebody is getting the message. But it’s not coming from our prominent pastors and leaders. It’s coming from the politicians. Do not get me wrong. If the pastors are influencing the politicians, telling them that they need to pray, then we do not need to know their names.
What we need to be more concerned about is getting each state to come back to God. Who cares about who did the influencing so long as we are found on our faces before God. But I also find that some parts of the church isn’t getting the message. We haven’t put two and two together.
Immorality is still the business of most pastoral leaders and congregants.
How do I know?
When you see a lot of people leave their churches because you preach against sin, same sex unions, adultery, fornication, pornography, masturbation, bisexuality, pederasty, and other sexual sins, it is clear that they want to send you a message that they intend not to give up sins of the flesh.
If they leave because a pastor is found to be in sin, sadly, that departures will happen. That’s because the people expect their spiritual leaders to be held to a higher standard and be held accountable. The wrong message to send is for the leader to salvage his ministry.
What he is really doing is salvaging his empire at the expense of the kingdom of God. The godly thing to do is surrender the ministry, salvage his relationship with God, his family, and then to the congregation.
When you see that the prominent preachers are still peddling the prosperity message and the gospel of inclusion, we haven’t gotten the message. When you see elements of the world’s brand of “gospel music” in the church. When you see a rise in sexual immorality because of it, then you know the church is in trouble, let alone the world.
I mentioned the story about Elijah and the widow woman for a reason. The economic conditions in this nation is a direct result of covetousness, same sex unions, and abortion. These sins are evident in the church and in the world. We do not know how to be content with what we have and we desire more.
We desire intimacy with ourselves, same sex, and opposite sex, illicitly. When we conceived a child out of wedlock and then abort that child because we can’t afford the child or the conception was a mistake, these are gross sins that defile a nation.
With unemployment at 9.2 percent. With interest rates on credit cards and loans at an all time high. With a decreasing taking home paycheck. With the high cost of living to purchase the basic necessities; gas, light, phone, food, and clothing.
WHAT MUST WE DO TO REVERSE THIS?
Repentance, confess our sins, forsake our sins, live righteously before God. Sanctify the Lord in our heart. Seek the Lord while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. Weep between the porch and the altar. Set a time for prayer and fasting, with weeping and mourning.
God will honor the pastor that falls on the sword. That’s right. Crucify himself. God will honor the church that seeks His face. God will turn churches around and then turn a nation around. We must be serious about killing covetousness, sexual immorality, and same sex unions in the church, first.
When we judge ourselves, we will not be judged. Hence, we won’t be condemned with the world. If you want to see an outpouring of the presence of God, all you have to do is bring to Him what He requires. A contrite and broken heart. A heart that is sorry about sinning against God. Then, and only then will our sacrifices be acceptable in His sight.
