It’s been a long while since the last blog but it’s good to take a break and then resume as needed.
No, I never relapsed into porn. So now that’s kicked to the curb, we see that a lot has transpired in a while.
According to Fox News, by way of the CDC, STD’s in America and perhaps it could be said, around the world are on the increase.
The preaching of “safe sex” isn’t working because when you’re in the heat of passion, to stop to put a rubber on destroys the moment.
As far as Christians that are married, conception is expected.
But for the world, we know that it’s a set up.
In one of my past blogs, with first hand information, we know that the condom manufacturer is in bed with the abortion industry to ensure condom failure to increase the chance of a pregnancy, thus, increase the chance to perform an abortion to harvest body parts for money.
According to a Medical Research group that used hidden recording to discover this horrendous practice, we now see that sadly, nothing goes to waste…….except the life of that child, brutally murdered in the womb.
On another front, STD’s is also a lucrative business for the medical field.
In another one of my past blogs, we’ve discovered that in Puerto Rico, a strain of STD’s mutates to defeat the medicine.
Hence, the purpose of this blog.
One thing always leads to another.
Sexually Transmitted Diseases will continue because of the lust in the heart.
Porn or fantasy sex by way of masturbation, for some gets old and the need to “connect” with a body ensues. Then once you’ve had him or her, you look for others to increase the excitement.
The CDC has already put the warning out that multiple partners increase the risks of acquiring STDs, including AIDS.
But in England, there is news that flesh eating diseases are emerging. It won’t be long before it turns into an epidemic.
And chances are, so far, there’s no reports of it in the United States, but it’s a matter of time. Or worse, it’s already here and the media, like other STD reports, isn’t reporting it.
So if you insist on fornication, this consequential judgment is waiting for anyone willing to ignore self discipline.
Many males and female have said, “It’s never gonna happen to me.” And then you sense something wrong in your system, you go to the doctor to get checked, or worse, you don’t go at all. Suddenly, your statement comes to haunt you.
Self discipline can’t be done on your own.
You need the Lord Jesus in your life. You must be born again. It’s only by repentance of dead works, and faith towards God, through our Lord Jesus Christ can one exercise self control to avoid the consequences of sin on the earth.
But worse, is should you die before you make Jesus Lord over your life, it’s too late and the “Wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
You can read about these things in the links below.
The mistake that many of us make when it comes to sexual thoughts is that we open ourselves to think about it, and then we spend more time than necessary exploring these thoughts instead of casting them down.
Paul said in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5,
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought to the obedience of Christ…”
In verse 4, Paul is letting us know that we are to exclusively rely and depend upon the Source of power to deal with what comes at us, or what we conjure up from the dark unregenerate part of our soul.
Listen to what the Lord Jesus said in Matthew 6:22,
“The lamp of the body is the eye…”
Your physical eyes is the doorway to the soul and spirit.
Whatever your eyes see and whatever your mind trains your eyes to see, that’s how darkness or light prepares to enter. Whether you are born again or not, and you train your eyes to look for things to lust after, notice the rest of what the Lord Jesus said,
“If therefore your eye is good (clear), your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is dark (bad), your whole body will be full of darkness.”
What constitutes a good eye? Being a child of God.
What constitutes a bad eye? Being a child of darkness.
What if you are a child of God and you look at bad things?
The principle is still the same.
Your whole body will be full of darkness. But you are a child of God. How can you be a child of the light and a have your body full of darkness?
Remember, Jesus said, “your body,”
He didn’t say your spirit.
Look at what the Lord Jesus told Paul in Acts 26:18…
“…to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.”
When you refuse to look upon a woman lustfully, you are protecting your body from allowing darkness to enter. When you refuse to look, you are not afraid of falling into temptation. You are guarding your eyes from allowing your soul to meditate on the object sinfully according to Matthew 5:27-28.
While we must renew our minds, it is done by spending time in the Word of God and less time in the word of the underworld.
That’s why most software programs called “Windows” is just that. You are looking through the window to enjoy the view.
It takes the power of God to pull down a stronghold.
Paul said in Ephesians 6:10,
“Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”
We all know that sex is appealing. When sexy things confront us, we want to explore the possibilities of having sex.
Sex appeal is just as powerful with SSA or Same Sex Attractions.
Lust works both ways, depending upon sinful sexual preference.
The battle will always be about what your soul wants to meditate on after you see it.
Psalm 101:3 says, “I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me.”
You have to make a conscious effort to shut down what your eyes used to watch.
It took me a while to understand how hypocritical I was when it came to keeping the Word of God. Like Paul said, “…having a form of godliness but denying it’s power.”
A few weeks ago, I needed to make a shift in my approach to being a child of God before the people before they recognize the office of pastor in me.
As a child of God, I am responsible to live the way the Word demands us to live. Preachers have to work the Word for themselves just like any believer. The office of pastor is what I am called to do, and it is also known as the “overflow” or the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon my life.
What the Spirit of God does when I am in the pulpit is not for me but what is deposited as the Word of God is for the people. As a born again believer, I live off of the “well of water, springing up into everlasting life.”
This means that I drink from the well of everlasting life for me. To walk in His ways for me. To be pleasing to the Lord for me.
This is what I shared.
“If I sin the sin of porn and masturbation ever again, I am a hypocrite and I can no longer preach to God’s people as a hypocrite. I will step down and resign the ministry should I ever sin like I did.”
Matthew 23 is the sermon of all sermons on hypocrites.
For me not to fulfill my ir-retractable promise, means that I have to work Proverbs 4:23 every moment. Now mind you, my commitment to holiness is deeper than that. When the Lord delivered me from porn and masturbation, I look to Him as the only one that I need to please. And when I can’t please the Lord, I know that when I stand before Him to be judged, I want to be able to know before then that I did everything I could to keep myself from sinning by employing His Word in strict obedience.
I cannot compromise because pleasing the Lord is all I want to do when it comes to sexual sins.
None of you were there when He saved me and called me into the ministry. I know what His voice sounds like. I know what His presence is like. I know when He smiles and I know when He is grieved. I know when He is pleased and I know when He is not pleased.
“…but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.”
I don’t know about you, but I want to be pure as He is pure.
That’s why the battle is an intense battle. This is the motivation of my life. Hearing Him say “well done, good and faithful servant” is what everyone says at funerals and home-goings, but do we really deserve to hear him say it if we know that we haven’t battled hard enough to keep sexually explicit thoughts from our minds? Do we deserve to hear it if we know we haven’t lived holy? Do we deserve to hear it if we know that we have not been pleasing in His sight on the level of Enoch and Jesus?
I urge you. Plead with you. This is the hour of testing and trials. Perhaps you haven’t lived up to His expectations. You can when you make the irreversible quality decision to live holy regardless of the winds of the world blowing on your house on the rock.
“Therefore whoever hears these saying of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock (the courage, fortitude, and unquenchable strength of the human will to hear what Jesus said and do them).”
Words in parenthesis are mine.
