Kim Davis And The Meeting With The Pope

In an amazing turn of events, Kim Davis, the Rowan County Kentucky Clerk met with the pope for 10 minutes. For those that do not know who Kim Davis is. She defied the homosexuals that were looking for a marriage license. She denied them and a couple of heterosexual couples.

The Supreme Court allowed the 6th Circuit court decision to stand and she was order to jail in contempt of court for not issuing marriage licenses to homosexuals. We still contend the fact that there was no law passed by Congress that gives homosexuals the right to marry because there is no amendment or clause that specifically address marriage, whether heterosexual or homosexual. The 10th Amendment was made to address laws made by the states.

We also contend that the 14th Amendment, “Equal Protection” clause was about giving blacks rights. And thus, the Civil Rights amendments was birth for this purpose. Kentucky has no laws stating that a clerk MUST give homosexuals marriage certificates. Kentucky doesn’t have any laws giving homosexuals the right to marry. Hence, Kim Davis’ civil Christian disobedience to a law that doesn’t exist was the right call.

Homosexuality and homosexual marriage is not the law of the land. Therefore, how can you be disobedient to a law that doesn’t exist?

How can she be in contempt of court to a law that doesn’t exist?

Contempt of a federal judge?

Judges, presidents, governors, mayors, and county executives cannot make laws.

Last we’ve checked, Congress and the Kentucky legislature (not judges or presidents, or governors) never wrote a law. The only legal body authorized to write and pass laws is Congress and the states. Veto power is held only by the governor in the states and the president of the United States. Kim Davis was freed and the FRC along with governor Mike Huckabee, a 2016 presidential candidate, celebrated outside the place where she was incarcerated.

Since then, she has allowed the issuance of marriage certificates to homosexuals but without her name.

The certificates are issued as “pursuant to federal court order.”

She has since changed her political party affiliation from Democrat to Republican. But in another twist of events, she met with the pope.

There is no question in my mind that this meeting with the pope smells.

Here is the reason.

Preponderance of evidence. The Family Research Council led by Tony Perkins is not afraid to be inclusive of catholics to achieve a common goal. I believe that it’s part of a system of numbers and unity. There is no question that FRC has been leading the charge against tyranny in the United States, watching our freedoms slip away is a clear and present danger to the United States, but a much bigger threat than this has vicious spiritual ramifications.

There is no possibility of the Body of Christ coming together with clear doctrinal differences. We are so fragmented that the devil is laughing at our divisiveness.

Jesus said it clearly that a house divided against itself cannot stand (see Matthew 12:25).

You see, it is not about people but the people involved in the system.

There are beautiful catholics as well as there are beautiful protestants but when you honor the denomination above the Lord, that’s where the problem is. There are just as much hideous stuff that goes on in the protestant churches. Trouble is abiding also in non denominational churches with questionable doctrine (prosperity gospel and so forth).

However, we must never unite in compromise. The purity of the Bible and the common correct interpretation of Scripture is what we should fight for before we fight for causes that threaten a nation. The world sees several denominations made by man. As confusing as it looks, this is not the true Body of Christ. Doctrine has hacked up the Body where our body pieces are all over the place like a car bomb explosion.

That’s why Jesus shared about wheat and tares. Tares looks so close like wheat that the only time it becomes distinguishable is when you uproot them.

It is not uncommon for catholics to meet with protestants. But we should never meet to suppress the truth of the Scriptures. Neither should there be a meeting where hypocritical living is evident. You can’t demand that the world get born again if you are not born again yourself.

This is something that many leaders in catholicism is pressing for. For protestants to stop protesting the wrongly divided doctrine held by the system of catholicism. Therefore, it is uncommon for believers in the Lord Jesus to mix it up with a denomination (catholicism) holding questionable doctrine.

Many will say that protestants and catholics need to come together. Many will say that I am being divisive.

I beg to differ because of extreme doctrinal differences.

We must remember that Martin Luther, John Wycliffe, William Tyndale, and others vehemently protested catholicism’s monopoly on the Bible.

Many Christians tend to forget that these men were brutally persecuted for their stand against a system that held many people in bondage to an institution.

Note well Ephesians 4:4-6 “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”

If you are looking at major doctrinal differences, just look in three places.

  1. We do not pray to Mary, the mother of Jesus.

Matthew 6:6-7 “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.”

“vain repetition or (a proverbial stammerer)” is defined as to “repeat the same things over and over, to use many idle words, to babble, prate.” In other words, you use words over and over again as an act of religiosity with no real purpose. It is a form of godliness that denies God’s power. Such prayers as “Hail Mary, full of grace….” Well John 1:14 says “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” Jesus is “full of grace and truth…” not Mary.

John 16:23-24 says “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”

No where in the Scriptures were we instructed by the Lord Jesus to pray to Mary.

2. We do not pray to “patron saints.”

From a good source, it is defined as “A patron saint or a patron hallow is a saint who in Roman Catholicism is regarded as the tutelary (familiar) spirit or heavenly advocate of a nation, place, craft, activity, class, clan, family or person. Supposedly, patron saints, having already transcended to the metaphysical, are able to intercede effectively for the needs of their special charges.”

John 14:6 says, “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

John 16:23-24 says “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”

Hebrews 7:25 says “Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”

Romans 8:34 says “Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.”

1 Timothy 2:5 says For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,”

1 John 2:1-2 says “My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.”

So ONLY Jesus is The Way, The Intercessor, The Mediator, The Advocate.

Therefore, no where in the Scriptures were we instructed by the Lord Jesus to pray to patron saints.

3. The pope is not the head of the church, Jesus is.

Ephesians 1:20-23 says  “…which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.”

Colossians 1:15-20 says “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.”

The pope may be the head of catholicism, but he is not the Head of the Church.

Therefore, no where in the Scriptures are we instructed that we have another head other than Christ.

It is true that when one is called to the ministry, they represent the ministry of Jesus Christ according to Ephesians 4:11, but as believers, we serve in this capacity as well according to 2 Corinthians 5:20-21.

These Scriptures that were quoted is the work of William Tyndale, John Wycliffe and other heroes when they translated the Bible into english from the Latin Vulgate, Greek & Hebrew, and other sources. We have our own copies of what the Word of God says as opposed to taking it for granted the catholic priests were giving their own versions of misinterpreted Scriptures and self conjured religious sayings, lacking Biblical harmony.

So having said this, why would Kim Davis sit with the pope? I honestly believe that it was a set up. I could be wrong about how and who is behind this, but it doesn’t look right and it isn’t right and we know it.

I do not agree with it one bit. Some will ask the question, “What’s the harm?”

The harm is looking to man for help instead of God.

Psalm 121 says

1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills —
From whence comes my help?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade at your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve you from all evil;
He shall preserve your soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.

So should catholics and protestant stay apart or unify?

With clear doctrinal differences, there is no question about it. Until the system of catholicism is renounced, and these, and other major doctrinal differences are dealt with, it is best to be loyal to God and His uncompromising Word as opposed to being loyal to a system that is against the Scriptures.

The article regarding Kim Davis meeting the pope could be read here.

Kenneth Copeland: An Open Rebuke Regarding Ecumenism- The False Doctrine Of Catholicism

Whore_of_BabylonMr. Copeland, I recently viewed a tape regarding unifying charismatics with catholicism, and the statement from the pope of the catholic church.

It was a stunning concoction of Scripture that is a clear and deliberate attempt to undermine the work of the Holy Spirit through John Wycliff, William Tyndale, Martin Luther, and many others.

The current Bible we live and preach from, well, we owe its existence to the Holy Spirit working with these courageous men.

It was a night to be remembered for a very long time.

Proverbs 17:10 says,
Rebuke is more effective for a wise man than a hundred blows on a fool.

A betrayal of epic proportions took place.

Mr. Copeland, you read from Matthew 13:14-15.

“And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, and seeing you will see and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, so that I should heal them.’

With this very Scripture, the tables were turned so that when Tony Palmer rises to speak, the people would not hear and see what is really going on.

History is being made for Protestants to rescind the argument or protest of grace through faith and return to catholicsm.

As in all denominations, we see that there are elements of tares working in the midst.

Martin Luther, as well as other courageous men of their era, stood up to the system that purport “Mary as the Queen of Heaven, Mary as the Mother of God, Mary as the co mediator of men to God, the rosary, dependence upon priests to have sins absolved, praying to “saints,” the elements of communion turning into the actual body and blood of Jesus, and other major doctrinal issues.

Over the course of time, we have witnessed many ungodly activities in catholicism that is associated with false doctrine.

The killing of babies, impregnated by priests, born to nuns, and buried on church grounds underscores the depravity of the hearts of men and women bound in this system. Scores of priests involved in the sin of homosexuality, molestation of boys and girls, and God knows what else. Even in the charismatic circles, there are elements of sexual perversion. Homosexual music ministers, pastors, and praise and worship leaders. Sexual addicted pastors that watch porn and masturbate.

In the video, I notice that this bishop Tony Palmer declared that a document was signed, ending the protestant protest of the system of catholicism. The Lutherans, and other denominations are in a tailspin of their own. Methodists, COGIC, Presbyterians, Episcopalians, and some sections of Pentecostals harbor, not only the sins of homosexuality but ordain priests, bishops, and pastors to places of leadership while living in Secret Sexual Sins.

While there is a outward stand by the catholics against abortion and homosexuality, we have seen that it is superficial. With pope Francis exploring ways to incorporate homosexuals into the ranks of catholics, we see that the whore of Babylon is prepared to swallow everything in its path. The bed of fornication is increasing.

I noticed that there was only ONE concession made by those that hold in great regard, Martin Luther’s rebuttal to catholicism, but there were no such concessions from the catholic church.

Not one.

There were 95 rebuttals that Martin Luther posted on the doors of catholicism that went unanswered by Tony Palmer.

But Tony Palmer picked the top of the argument and self announced the demise of grace through faith to reestablish catholicism argument that it must be by works. Because if you destroy or annul the top argument, it’s very easy to let your guard down to surrender the stand for the other 94 arguments.

The demarcation between protestants and catholics was “grace, through faith” and “works.”

Tony Palmer, in a very sleight of hand mesmerizing way, declared that there was no more “protest” based on one of 95 things Luther pointed out. By combining a statement, agreed upon in 1999 by Lutherans and Catholics, he declared that the protest is over.

By using Malachi’s statement “to turn the hearts of the sons back to their fathers,” he is declaring that the protestants are coming back home to catholicism. Back home to the pope. Back home to works.

Here’s what Malachi actually said,

Malachi 4:5-6 “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”

Tony Palmer said that prophesy has a twofold fulfillment. This is true in some places.

But in this instance, we all know that Elijah, in the NT, was John the Baptist. In the book of Revelation, the actual Elijah of the OT will be sent as one of two witnesses to the tribulation with great power, be killed, and be raised from the dead.

Tony Palmer believes that in the same measure of Elijah, he would turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers. Protestants back to Catholicism and Catholicism back to Protestantism. Uniting both parties as one in accordance with the prayer that the Lord Jesus made in John 17.

That by grace through faith, we give ourselves unto good works as proof that we are born again.

Now Mr. Copeland, you had your Bible at the end and you could have opened up to the book of Ephesians 2:8-9 where Paul said…

“For by grace are you saved through faith, and than not of yourselves. It (grace) is a gift of God, NOT OF WORKS LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST.”

If you believe that the Word of God is the inerrant, infallible Word of God, there must be no compromise or capitulation.

Isaiah 64:6 says “But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

Our works to get into the kingdom doesn’t and will never qualify us. That’s the whole point for sending Jesus. He became the Mediator between God and man, but Jesus also “Interceded for us” in taking our place on the cross to die for our sins. Thus, the righteousness of God comes to all and is upon all…….“them that believe.”

Therefore, our works to be righteous are menstrual cloths. From “Jamison, Fausset, and Brown Commentary, that’s what “filthy rags” mean.

“filthy rags– literally, a “menstruous rag” (Le 15:33; 20:18; La 1:17)”

Tony Palmer used language to insinuate that Jesus is the only One that justifies, and that is true. But what are the works of catholicism that he failed to renounce? Now Tony Palmer is an Anglican bishop (correct me if I am wrong about this) but it appears that he is a envoy for the pope and catholicism to reunite denominations back to catholicism.

If you look carefully, it’s Jude 4 in operation.

It took a long time for this to happen and Tony Palmer kept chipping away at you, Mr. Copeland. Until there was a breaking point. To become a false teacher and a false prophet, it doesn’t happen over night. It takes time, a willingness to stick to the goal, and patience.

For if the top argument that separated protestants from catholics could be annulled, then all the other protests, 94 statements are annulled too. Thus, paving the way to reassert catholicism’s dominance, and preeminence.

It was more than a bone to pick. It was an outright rebuttal to a system designed to keep people enslaved to sin while raking in tons of money. Throughout the world, these magnificent buildings that the catholics built is a testament to their ability to keep people in bondage to a system while sending them straight to hell.

Sounds a lot like the false doctrine of the gospel of prosperity.

It would have been amazing if catholics denounced Mary as the Mother of God. It would have been amazing if the catholic leadership would have denounced Peter as being a pope, and utterly destroying any lineage to apostolic succession. It would have been amazing if they would have renounce all references to “purgatory.” It would have been stunning if there was a clear renunciation of all doctrines that go crosswise of the Word of God.

But there were no such concession.

In fact, Tony Palmer declared us all catholics.

We understand that catholicism means and speaks of the universal church, BUT the system is still in place.

I’ve watched your ministry for over 30 years. Your ministry has had a positive affect on my life and ministry………..until we’ve heard some very questionable statements from you and others associated with your ministry. Over the years, we’ve heard questionable things from people like Fred Price, Creflo Dollar, and others under the guise of “divine revelation.”

Either concocted by mental lapses of judgment interlocked with spiritual spookiness, or a complete absence of Biblical interpretation in accordance with the rules of Biblical hermeneutics.

Or both.

One of the things that I’ve learned is that a man or woman of God must never love to hear their voice as they are ministering. It is out of this that a pompous, or haughty spirit attaches itself to who we are, and destruction is sure to come.

Paul said, “Knowledge puffs up.”

I believe it was Billy Brim that said this.

“All Word, no prayer, you’ll dry up. All prayer, no Word, you’ll blow up. All Word, and all prayer, and you’ll grow up.”

Over the years, the Lord taught me that “Praise of God keeps pride of self in check.”

And “Humility, and humbleness of mind will keep you from entering into places of humiliation.”

Under the current spiritual conditions of both catholicism and charismatics, and other denominations, there’s a lot that must be renounced and reaffirmed.

It is amazing that over the thousands of years that the Word of God was written that we still find people that can make the inerrant Word of God say anything that it wants to say, except for what it already said.

In an interview with TD Jakes, he was asked a question by a muslim woman and Jakes responded that he was on an ecumenical council to reconcile the faiths. TD Jakes and Joel Osteen believes that muslims and homosexuals practicing homosexuality stand a chance of going to heaven in an unregenerate condition. This is where people get so full of themselves in liking how they sound that they throw the judgment of the established Scriptures to the wind.

Being born again also requires that we put fruit out, worthy of righteousness. The fruit of the Spirit, the doing of the Word of God in strict obedience to the known will of God is proof of salvation. You might say that this is a concession on my part that we work to produce fruit. But that’s not what Jesus taught in John 15. As long as we stay attached to Jesus, He helps us to produce the fruit of righteousness. The moment we detach and attempt to produce fruit on our own, we are cut off by the Vinedresser, and sent to the fire to be burned.

“Without Me you can do nothing…..no more can you, except you abide in Me. I am the Vine, you are the branches, as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself…….”

So if we know that a branch cannot bear fruit by itself…..and I defy anyone that can show us a branch, detached from the tree to produce fruit….we know that we cannot produce works of righteousness on our own. Penance is not grace. Penance is works apart from grace.

The acceptance of perversion justification, and false doctrine underscores the deceitful heart that is desperately wicked according to Jeremiah 17:9.

The Bible is clear about not calling a man a rabbi or teacher, or to call them “father.” On the earth, the Holy Spirit is the teacher, and the Father is in heaven.

We find it amazing that people stood to praise God in that service. While the camera stayed locked on Tony Palmer, I’m not sure if anyone in their right minds walked out to stand shoulder to shoulder with the rightly divided word of truth.

The Bible remains final authority. As Paul said, “Let every man be a liar and let God be true.”

Psalm 119:89 says, “Your Word, O Lord is forever settled in heaven.”

Malachi 3:6 says, “I am the Lord, I change not.”

Hebrews 6:16-20 says “For men indeed swear by the greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute. Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things,

in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”

So by the Word that cannot change and is settled in heaven by the One that cannot change, and because He swore by Himself, established by the immutability of His counsel, and that He cannot lie, I must rebuke you and Tony Palmer, in the name of Jesus.

Proverbs 27:5 says “Open rebuke is better than love carefully concealed.”

There can be no coming together until there is a clear renunciation of the false doctrines which catholicism purports.

If there is to be a coming together of people, whatever differences of doctrine exists, we know that sometimes it could be resolved. And other times, they may never be resolved. But one thing is certain. False doctrine can never be resolved.

False doctrine must be destroyed.

Paul said this in 1 Timothy 4:1-4 “I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.”

Catholicism and certain doctrinal aspects purported by charismatics fall under the category of “fables” or “fictitious stories, empty of divine substance and truth.”

As the late former president Ronald Reagan once said….”Trust, but verify.”

There must be concrete, actionable steps that shows a sincere but deliberate annulment of the system that is clearly against the Word of God.

Otherwise, we are looking at The Greatest End Time Conspiracy of all time.

For all of you that support KCM, his ministers, and the ministries associated, it is with love that this rebuke is sent.

However, we must never exalt any man above the rightly divided word of truth. The worship of preachers must come to an end. Many of you will use Psalm 105:15 or Matthew 7:1-5. My intent is not to speak evil of people but to sound the alarm that false doctrine has entered in unchallenged and it must be soundly rebutted.

And Charisma News only put out part of the story and should report the entire story. Seems to me when you want to protect someone or something, you partially put out the story.

They only put out the pope’s message, not Tony Palmer’s message.

Well, below is a link to the Tony Palmer’s message, broken up, to apply the rebuttal.

The pretending of walking in the truth must come to an end. We pray that the Father in heaven would reveal the truth to you and all those that are blinded by this power move.

When whole groups of people take this without applying the truth of the Scriptures to rightly divide the word of truth, something sinister is in the makings. As with all false doctrines, sexual immorality is not far behind.

Perversion on unimaginable scales such as the days of Noah and Lot, seen only by the eyes of God, are pending should KCM and all associated ministries insist and persist in this present perilous course.
