Pastors & Porn. Why Am I Addicted?

It’s the secret sin that most male pastors are ashamed of, but it’s done because no one knows. Or so you thought.

Sexual immorality, especially with porn, is without question the stronghold of strongholds.

What’s the driving factor?

Lust in the heart. The desire to look at someone with lust.

The Lord Jesus revealed why men commit adultery.

Matthew 5:27-28 (NKJV) “You have heard that it was said to those of old, You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

The word “lust” from Strong’s Dictionary of Biblical Words mean…..g1937. ἐπιθυμέω epithymeō; from 1909 and 2372; to set the heart upon, i.e. long for (rightfully or otherwise): — covet, desire, would fain, lust (after).

To set the heart upon, to long for.

It takes less than a second for a man or woman to set their eyes on someone that they see.

The sexual attraction is so strong that if we’re not careful, looking to admire quickly deepens into look with the intent to lust, to set your heart upon the object.

To long to have him or her sexually.

2 Samuel 11:1-5 (NKJV) “It happened in the spring of the year, at the time when kings go out to battle, that David sent Joab and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the people of Ammon and besieged Rabbah.

But David remained at Jerusalem.

Then it happened one evening that David arose from his bed and walked on the roof of the king’s house.

And from the roof he saw a woman bathing, and the woman was very beautiful to behold.

So David sent and inquired about the woman.

And someone said, “Is this not Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?”

Then David sent messengers, and took her; and she came to him, and he lay with her, for she was cleansed from her impurity; and she returned to her house.

And the woman conceived; so she sent and told David, and said, “I am with child.”

So what really happened?

James 1:14-15 (NKJV) “But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.

Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.”

David did one thing. He stayed in Jerusalem. There’s a convincing reason that David stayed in Jerusalem.

Is it possible that David saw her and wanted to see her again? Only this time, to fulfill his lusts?

Is it possible that he knew that Bathsheba would be there? Is it possible that his timing was so perfect, that he knew? He had a bird’s eye view of where she would be.

Now Uriah was doing battle. How convenient.

At this point, David had five wives.

Proverbs 27:20 (NKJV) “Hell and Destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.”

David had lust in his heart. He set his heart upon the body of Bathsheba. He longed for the body of Bathsheba. He coveted Bathsheba’s body.

Long story short, David did exactly what the Lord Jesus said not to do.

“…But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

David committed adultery with her in his heart and set his possible preconceived plan in motion. Lust in his heart overwhelmed him. He slew Goliath, but lust in David’s heart was stronger than Goliath.

Here’s the reason.

According to Dr. Struthers, porn hijacks the brain.

Looking at women to lust after them hijacks the brain. When the man allows himself to be completely obsessed with lust, it’s for the purpose of self gratification.

The sexual “juices flow” where you must fulfill that lust in orgasmic pleasure. Where there is no fulfillment in orgasm, the lust is unfulfilled.

Within the confines of marriage, there’s no lust. Within the confines of marriage, orgasmic pleasure was designed by God, and commanded to be done in marriage.

Sex in marriage between one biological male one biological female is perfectly legal.

It’s when you have shifted your eyes in lust that sin is committed.

The conscience is pricked, but a man and woman knows how to suppress the conviction of sin.

Lust took David to a place where it cost him more that he’s willing to pay. Took him further than he’s willing to go.

Three sins were committed.

  1. Lust.
  2. Murder.

Exodus 20:13-14 (NKJV) “You shall not murder. “You shall not commit adultery.

3. You shall not covet.

Exodus 20:17 (NKJV) “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

Then the news.

Bathsheba was pregnant with David’s child. David thought about Uriah. If he could get Uriah to have sex with his wife, then all is covered. But Uriah was so loyal to David that he refused to even go home.

That didn’t work out so well for David.

Then David put Uriah on the frontline of the hottest battle where he knew Uriah couldn’t stay alive. The servant broke the news that Uriah died in battle. David thought he would be home free. He took Bathsheba in and all is covered.

Deep down, you kinda knew that God saw this before the world began.

It took Nathan the prophet to uncover the plot.

Psalm 51 is the “Adulterer’s Psalm.”

The addiction comes out of lust.

2 Samuel 12:9 (NKJV) “Why have you despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in His sight?”

To sin against God is to despise the commandment of the Lord.

To despise means to de-esteem, to ignore, regard with contempt.

A man after God’s own heart, ignored the commandment of the Lord in his heart.

David paid for his sin.

2 Samuel 12:11-15 (NKJV) “Thus says the LORD: ‘Behold, I will raise up adversity against you from your own house; and I will take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbor, and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun.

For you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, before the sun.'”

So David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the LORD.”

And Nathan said to David, “The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die. However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you shall surely die.” Then Nathan departed to his house.

Did it take all that for David to recognized that he had sinned against the Lord?

Yes. The self delusion was that deep.

Pastor. If you don’t catch yourself, it’s just a matter of time.

As a deflective argument, people will accuse God of killing a child because David was the one that sinned against God. Why take it out on the child?

God is God. He does as it pleases Him.

But look at what happened.

The enemies heard that God was with David and David blew his testimony.

The enemies can now say that David and Israel isn’t as righteous as they claim to be.

Doesn’t this sound like today when a pastor commits adultery? The world brings a serious accusation against God and His people. Everyone is blamed. And then when we try to share the gospel to them, they reject it because we’ve disdained the very commandment that we claim to live by.

Plus, the child would have been viewed as an endorsement for such behavior.

Was Bathsheba raped? Did she resist? Did she fight off David and his men? Did she cry in the streets that what David had done was wrong? Because David is the king, could it be that she willingly submitted to the king to avoid making a scene? Or because she may not have known the law that both the male and female committing adultery are to be put to death?

Leviticus 20:10 (NKJV) “The man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, he who commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress, shall surely be put to death.”

It would be understandable if some of the women that had sexual immorality with these men also be exposed. Sadly, women are taken against their will. Deceived by men claiming to be of God. Then there’s women that will use it to their advantage and sue the sinning pastors for child support.

The Word is clear that pornography is lust. So why are you addicted?

Uncontrolled lust in the heart. Lust must be crucified and it was crucified on the cross when God laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Then we have to choose to crucify the lust in our heart. Paul said…….

Colossians 3:5-7 (NKJV) “Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.”

Romans 6:12-14 (NKJV) “Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.”

Stop allowing porn to run your life. Do not let lust in your heart have dominion over you, for you are not under the law but under grace.

Sexual Immorality & Christianity

1 Corinthians 6:18 (NKJV) “Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.”

It’s not a one denominational or non denominational thing.

To assume that sexual immorality operates only in one place is not to be taken. Every denomination, and every non denomination may have been touched. From scandals among pastors, leaders, and parishioners, it’s a very sinful problem.

The reasons for sexual immorality among churches varies. One thing is certain, self control, a fruit of the Spirit in true believers, obedience to the Scriptures, accountability partners, and constantly watching every thing about you and your surroundings can stop sexual immorality from consuming you.

Is it possible?

It’s left up to you. The Lord God did everything that He’s going to do to redeem us. Even defeating the power and guilt of sin on the cross of Christ.

Your willingness to obey His Word is now required, demanded, and commanded. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil is constantly before us. We are one decision away from death or keeping our life.

Adam and Eve brought death into the world by disobeying the commandment of God.

Romans 5:12 (NKJV) “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—”

Romans 5:19 (NKJV) “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.

Who and what are we willing to obey to keep sexual sins out of our lives? To what extent are we willing to go to close the door on sexual immorality?

For years, sexual immorality was a major part of my life. Lusting after the flesh. Gratifying myself for personal pleasure. I thought that I could have both, but I was deceiving myself. Watching porn and solo fantasy sex.

I was among many pastors, church leaders, and parishioners trapped in the dark world of pornography. It’s a secret. No one knew but myself, the devil that had me bound, and ultimately, God.

Hebrews 4:13 (NKJV) “And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”

When you can easily deceive yourself into thinking that you would not have to give an account, it’s very easy to sin.

Romans 1:18-19 (NKJV) “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.”

To suppress means to hold it down.

In order to sin, you have to overcome the conviction. You have to force your mind into thinking that you will not fall under the wrath of God, but it’s futile.

It’s a mindless wasted exercise to justify the love of sin in defiance of God’s commandments.

Sexual immorality became god in my life.

Exodus 20:3 says “You shall have no other gods before Me.”

Christ was last in my life. Anything that comes before God is not second. It’s last.

Matthew 22:36-40 (NKJV) “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

You can’t love the Lord and love sin at the same time. You have to make a decision because the decision determines destiny. Eternal destiny.

God competes with no one.

2 Timothy 3:4-5 (NKJV) “…lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.”

We have to decide whether or not the pleasures of this life becomes lord or the Lord of lords.

Luke 8:14 (NKJV) “Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.”

In the parable of the sower, the Lord is teaching about where people are in relationship to Him. The only place where a believer is fruitful is when he’s on good ground producing good fruit.

The pleasures of this life brought no fruit to maturity. In other words, I was unfruitful (see John 15:1-8).

Whenever there’s sin, it’s a bad tree producing bad fruit.

There comes a point where I had to stop pretending that I was producing good fruit and accept the truth that I am a bad tree producing bad fruit.

This same mentality happens in every place of worship. We pretend to be holy, sanctified, righteous, and when we look deep inside us, we know that we’re a bad tree.

It’s easy to point the finger at other denominations and non denominations. Why? Because it takes the attention off of you. In self righteousness, we write about what they’ve done while we do our own thing in hypocrisy.

One of the greatest sermon that Jesus preached were to the spiritual leadership in Israel. Hypocrites. Serpents. Brood of vipers. Sepulchers. Blind guides. Fools and blind. Blind Pharisee.

Preachers today, most of them, are following the same pattern.

We hide behind our persona, our charismatic personality. In the eyesight of people, we could do no wrong. But before the Lord, every secret thing is before Him.

We have to understand that among wheat are tares. Among the righteous are those that give the appearance of righteousness. We say the right thing. SOMETIMES. But it’s just a matter of time before we let the cat out of the bag or that the Lord have had enough and exposes us for who and what we really are.

God embarrasses us because He is looking to redeem us if we’re willing to repent and turn from our wicked ways. He’s given so much time to repent. We take advantage of His grace, goodness, kindness, and love.

By staying in the place of a perverted pretender, we slap aside His mercy because the enjoyment of pleasure consumes us. Totally obsessed with sexual immorality, we allow ourselves to be fully possessed by demons.

We switch from pretending to be a man of God to a man predominantly of satan.

We don’t think that we would die. We honestly think that we will live forever, but the clock never lies. God, at anytime could snatch our breath. But the thought of the pleasure overrides the thought of being judged for sexual sins.

The other pastor, church leader, parishioner will die. But not me.

Like a fool, our pretending comes to an abrupt end.

One way or another.

That’s why sexual immorality in Christianity goes on. There’s no fear of God, no fear of His wrath. No fear of His judgment.

Until this fear returns, Christianity will continue to have blemishes, spots, wrinkles.

But not for long.

Many will catch themselves like the prodigal son and receive the chastising correction as sons. This correction is necessary and painful.

Then there’s the tares.

The poisonous ones among the wheat. They will be gathered, bundled and burned.

2 Corinthians 6:14 – 7:1 (NKJV) Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
“I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.”
Therefore
“Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.”
“I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the LORD Almighty.”
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”

When Your Husband Is Watching Porn Or Watching Other Women

Proverbs 27:20 (NKJV)

“Hell and Destruction are never full;
So the eyes of man are never satisfied.”

Job 31:1 (NKJV)

“I have made a covenant with my eyes;
Why then should I look upon a young woman?”

Some of you will blush, and that’s natural. But if we’re really serious about keeping our holiness before the Lord, we will address our flesh issues.

Men are sight stimulated. If men are attracted to women, it’s because of his ability to search to look at someone that caught his eyes. But a man is either looking to lust or admiring beauty.

This is a very fine line because in less than a nano second, the thoughts of his mind can easily cross the line into lusting with his heart.

Matthew 5:27-30 (NKJV)

“You have heard that it was said to those of old, You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

So how will a wife or girlfriend know that your husband or boyfriend is looking to lust after another woman?

Sometimes, a man will look a long time to “soak” in the view. But if you’re truthful, it takes a man less than a second to store what his eyes have seen.

There’s essentially a combination of three places that a man will look to lust.

  1. The eyes and hair.
  2. The waist and the hips.
  3. The cleavage, legs, crotch, and the gluteus Maximus.

I know that the blushing has started, but if you’re brutally honest with yourself, this is exactly what lust is about. But this is how a man is attracted to the beauty of another woman for the purpose of having an immoral sexual encounter.

Either he will fantasize about it, or take things to the next level and engage in adultery.

Disconnections are clear when he’s no longer sexually attracted to you. For whatever reason. But it’s about his heart relationship with God.

To commit adultery in the flesh, he must commit adultery against God.

It all boils down to what’s in the heart of man.

Matthew 15:18-20 (NKJV)

“But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”

The eyes of a man is the door to his heart and mind.

Matthew 6:22-23 (NKJV)

“The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

So the intent of the heart drives him and his eyes betrays or justifies him.

It takes a while to train yourself to watch your husband’s eyes. But the moment that you catch him, you can’t blow up in his face on the spot because it’s not wise to create a scene.

If he’s showed violent tendencies, it’s best to wait until there’s a more appropriate time to confront him.

But eventually, when you see that he’s consistently looking at women, and doing it in front of your face, there comes a point where you need to say something.

As far as porn is concerned, he will not signal to you that he’s watching porn because he’s not just watching porn and then he turns it off.

He’s masturbating while being stimulated with his eyes. He’s pretending to have sex with that image. So as a wife, if you’re wondering why there’s no intimacy, this is where he is.

But he may have taken it to another level.

He may be paying for sex with prostitutes who are involved in porn, or are high end escorts, or adult club dancers.

This is fornication, adultery, idolatry, which is covetousness (see Colossians 3:5 and Exodus 20:14 & 17).

This is grounds for divorce (see Matthew 19:9).

A husband must not give in to his desires. He must crucify his flesh. When it comes to sex with another woman, the end will always be the same. There’s no real satisfaction achieved.

But let’s return to the heart and mind.

Ephesians 2:1-3 (NKJV)

And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,

among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

James 1:14-15 (NKJV)

“But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

So what’s a wife to do?

If you choose to confront him, you need to understand that this is a man’s high place. He may have claimed to be saved, claim to love God and His Word, but his flesh isn’t crucified. The husband will fight to keep this stronghold.

Sex is a very powerful tool. When immorality sets in, the dopamine that is secreted into the blood stream feels good and to suddenly go at him when he’s unrepentant, it will be a very volatile moment.

You must be prepared for the fact that he will be in complete denial because it’s just like when the light comes on, or taking a toy away from a child. The man will do everything in his power never to surrender.

And that’s where the Word and prayer must be your place of combating the forces of the will of man and demons. It’s difficult to do prayer and the Word because you’re emotionally distraught. You’re completely devastated. An act of deception and betrayal took place and your world fell apart.

Discovery hurts.

But you can’t remain hurt. It can’t go on forever. There comes a point where something has to be done.

And this is where God incrementally bring things into his life to break him.

When God breaks a man, either he will submit to the chastisement of the Lord, falling on the stone, or be grounded into powder.

Matthew 21:44 (NKJV)

“And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.”

God know just what will break a man, but also, it’s known for man to ignore that God is using every means necessary to save him. Because we must remember. His soul is at stake.

Yes, your marriage is at stake too, but should he remain unrepentant, his soul will be lost.

Hopefully, he will turn from his wicked ways and return to the Lord with a repentant heart, and eventually take serious steps to repair his relationship with you.

Hillsong. A Haven For Sexual Immorality Spirits?

The leader of Hillsong, Brian Houston, has been charged with child sex abuse.

What’s been happening, not just at Hillsong, but all around the world, is a strong spirit of lust is operating in many places that purport to be true houses of worship.

Try not to skip reading this entire chapter.

2 Peter 2 (NKJV)

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.

They’ll be among the people that will secretly bring in destructive heresies. They hold their cards to their chest and then put the cards on the table after they feel secure enough that they’ve won your trust.

How are they doing it now? They sing great Bible affirming songs. That’s how they lure the unsuspecting. After your emotions are high, you’re disarmed. Your guard is down, and that’s when you’re the most vulnerable.

And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.

Many will follow their destructive ways. MANY. The mega church. Not all of them (2000+ is considered mega). We don’t throw out the baby with the bath water. But when you have a large audience, it’s ripe for false doctrine and its teachers. Then out of no where. They blaspheme the truth by establishing their own personal doctrine as the doctrine above the Bible.

Then by covetousness, they exploit you with deceptive words. You’re disarmed. You give beyond your means. You max out your credit card. Empty your bank account. You spend only to get robbed. God sends a word of rebuke and repentance (Revelation chapters 2 and 3), but they refuse to repent.

For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly;

Just like Sodom and Gomorrah, and Noah’s days. Noah preached for 100 years. Why? God was long-suffering, kind, merciful, and compassionate. Yet, they went their way of immorality. Tick Tock. Time’s up for them. With Sodom and Gomorrah, when the 2 angels came into the city, that should have been a big signal to repent or be destroyed.

and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)— then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment,

and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord.

But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you,

having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children. They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

When you see the video, married men, full of lust. They can’t keep their hands off of other women. In one instance, one man working for Hillsong, had eyes of adultery and cannot cease from sin, enticed a young woman that was unstable. How was she unstable when she was trapped behind a locked door?

An immoral man knows who to look for. Women that do not have their wits about them. Not every woman is like this. The women in this report didn’t appear to be unstable. Stable women can see that they’re being targeted and will NEVER put themselves in a vulnerable position.

but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man’s voice restrained the madness of the prophet. These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.

Did you see the doctrine in use? “You’re free.” “While they promise them liberty.”

And through this doctrine, many are deceived. Just as Peter said, they’re slaves of corruption to bring others into bondage.

For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.

People come out of one mess of sin and then end up in another. Not only those that were sadly targeted and abused, but the ones that promise to never be caught in bondage again, only to return to bondage to commit more corruption and sexual sins.

But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

Peter, by the Holy Spirit, accurately describes the condition of ANY house of worship that sing great songs and preach strange doctrines, and then in private, commit secret sexual sins.

It was hard to watch 60 Minutes Australia’s report on Hillsong Australia and New York.

There’s two sides to every story, but this story was compelling. But just because something is “compelling” (Christie B Ford/Kavanaugh), it’s doesn’t make it true. Even a compelling lie sounds true until fully examined and the truth emerges.

The leader of Hillsong, Australia, Brian Houston, has been charged with child sex abuse.

The leader of Hillsong New York, Carl Lentz, committed adultery.

So far, the end result isn’t repentance from dead works but perversion.

Years ago, the Lord told me that it wouldn’t be the last. And He’s been true to His word because immoral men and women are around.

I’m convinced that sexual immorality is the “high place” of satan’s dwelling.

Why?

in 2008, there were 298 million Internet porn sites. Today, there’s well over 302 million Internet porn sites and growing.

So between 2008 and 2021, 4 million NEW porn sites, or more, have been added to the World Wide Web in the United States.

Now Brian Houston was charged and if the charges are frivolous, then whoever falsely charged him, are liars, bearing false witness.

While there may be a good possibility that Brian never watched porn, it would be slanderous to conclude an assumption that porn fueled his alleged habits of child sexual abuse.

However, there’s a good chance that Carl Lentz and Brian Houston may have been watchers of porn, whether in the past, or current. Usually, they lead to fulfilling their sexual immoral fantasies. They move from fantasy to reality. Or perhaps they were involved in both.

Should Brian Houston be found guilty, God gave him space to repent and they refused.

Sin & The Father’s Business

As Jesus was a young man, a few years before He reached the age of 30, Joseph and Mary took Jesus to Jerusalem for the Feast. After the feast concluded, Jesus remained in the Temple with the scholars and scribes asking questions and also giving profound answers to difficult aspects about the Law.

Joseph and Mary determined that Jesus was missing and searched. Then they went back to Jerusalem.

They found Jesus in the Temple and no doubt wondered why Jesus had done what He did.

His profound answer.

“Can’t you see that I must be about My Father’s business.”

Mary kept this in her heart. Regarding Mary, she probably went back in time to remember what the angel Gabriel said.

For us in the NT, what would the business of the Father be to us?

The book of Matthew is the answer.

Matthew 28:18-20

“All power has been given to Me in heaven and in earth. Go and make disciples of all nations. Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things I commanded you, and lo, I am with you, even to the end of the ages.”

This is the business of the Father. Make disciples and teaching them to observe all things He commanded them.

Evangelizing is a big part of the Father’s business but notice also that we are to teach them to observe all things that Jesus commanded His disciples. Therefore, Biblical discipleship is just as important so true disciples bring forth good fruit.

The entire NT is what Jesus wants us to observe because Jesus is the Word of God as stated in John 1:1.

Does this include the OT?

Absolutely because in the 4 gospels, we see Jesus refer to the Law, the Psalms, and the Prophets.

That’s why we have 66 Books. 39 Old, 27 New.

The Bible is the Book we must choose to live by because Jesus said, “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”

What separates the false believers from the true believers is in how well we live by the Word of God.

James 1:22 tells us, “But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”

Many professed believers just hear the Word but never do the Word.

The number one reason why some carnal believers struggle with doing the things the Lord Jesus commanded is because of a love for sin our lives.

The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 7:21, “Not everyone that says to Me ‘Lord Lord’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven. In that day they shall say to Me, ‘Have we not prophesied in your Name, cast out devils in your Name, and did many wonders in Your Name. Then I will say to them ‘Depart from Me, you that practice lawlessness.”

Doing the Father’s business is not doing works in His name to get saved, or to appease some godless feeling while practicing lawlessness. When it comes to living a carnal life, it’s about being so self deceived that we indulge in sin and righteousness at the same time.

2 Corinthians 6:14-16 (NKJV)

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?

And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.”

Carnal believers want to participate in both worlds and this can’t be. The world and being in Christ is not the Father’s business.

My life wanted to indulge in sexual immorality and righteousness at the same time, but it’s inconsistent and incompatible with true Biblical Christian living.

I couldn’t be clean and dirty at the same time.

I had to be one or the other. Then I had to look at what was getting into my life that would start the process of searching for sin.

Then get “clean enough” to preach to sinners and true believers.

Then start the habit, pattern, and cycle all over again.

The parable of the sower is a locator. It will tell you where you’re standing with God.

Those on the wayside are the ones that hear the Word and the devil comes immediately and takes the seed.

Those on stony ground are the ones that hear the Word, receive the Word with joy, and the Word doesn’t penetrate, it has no root, and they stay with the Word for a little while, then temptation comes, and they fall away.

Then there’s the ones on thorny ground that are choking the Word with cares, riches, and pleasures of this life, and become unfruitful.

Then there’s those that are on good ground that hear the Word, and receive the Word, and produce fruit. Some thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold with patience and persecution.

This parable will reveal where you are and who you represent.

Are you tares among wheat? Are you false among the true? Are you serious or are you playing? Genuine or fake. True or false. Real or a hypocrite?

This reveals whether you’re about your Heavenly Father’s business, or the devil’s business.

At any time before the casket closes, you can transition from the pretender to the actual true believer, observing all things the Lord commanded.

IF you’re playing, you’re one decision away from making the greatest decision of your life.

To be a true believer.

The Lord Jesus told the man that He healed at the pool of Bethesda and the woman caught in adultery in John chapter 5, and 8.

“Sin no more. Lest a worst thing come upon you.”

“Neither do I condemn you. Go. And sin no more.”

Do Christians sin? Make no mistake about it. But it brings into question whether you’ve been born of God. Because 1 John 3:9 said “Whoever is born of God cannot sin.”

In 1 John 2:1-6 (NKJV) “My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”

What are signs of the abuse of this Scripture?

When you deliberately intend to sin against God, knowing full well that sin is lawlessness.

The practice of lawlessness is the lifestyle of a sinner. Are we allowed to indulge in what we used to practice?

2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creature, old things are passed away, behold, all things become new.”

Romans 6:1-2 says, “Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we that are dead to sin live any longer in it?”

In other words, you’ve reached a point in your relationship with the Lord that you want to please Him more than yourself. Paul said in Ephesians 4:27, “…give no place to the devil.”

This means that 1 John 3:8 is a reality.

“For this purpose the Son of God was manifest that He destroy the works of the devil.”

It’s when we’ve learned that sin only leads to one place. Death.

If we believe that the Word is the absolute Word of God and is final authority, we employ everything to fight the very thing that God hates. Sin.

We do what Hebrews 12:4 says. “You have not resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.”

What does this mean?

What RADICAL THING (“radical amputation”), are you willing to do to stop yourself from sinning? Please do not commit suicide. That’s self murder.

You have not cut the part of you that commits sin, to stop sinning.

This ties in with Matthew 5:27-30.

This isn’t accomplished without God’s grace, and you can’t do it alone. The work of grace helps you to “abstain from all forms of evil.

Cutting off the TV, discontinuing subscriptions like HBO, Showtime, Netflix, Directv Playboy Hustler Channels, Sex Chat Rooms on FB, Instagram, or other social media entry points. What radical thing are you willing to do to abstain from all forms of evil?

Ephesians 2:8-10 (NKJV) “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

We’re saved by grace through faith. Doing the Father’s business or His works comes as a result of being born again, not to get born again.

The Holy Spirit will give you help to escape the temptation (see 1 Corinthians 10:13).

And when you enter trials and testings, count it all joy (see James 1:2-7), and go to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (see Hebrews 4:16).

Every believer struggles in their flesh to subdue the passions, sinful desires, and cravings of sexual wickedness. However, if we play with this, one day, we’ll give an account of it before the Lord.

When the fear of the Lord is absent, it’s very easy to sin, but sin always comes with a penalty.

“Everyone is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires, and enticed. And when lust is conceived, it brings forth sin, and sin when it is finished, brings forth death.”

Our Worst Fears: Ravi Zacharias

1 Timothy 4:12 (NKJV Strong’s)

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

Ravi Zacharias was probably one of the most prolific apologists of our times. He would say some tremendous things that really made you pay attention to see if you know your Bible as you should.

We were sadden to hear that Ravi Zacharias had passed away on May 19, 2020.

He was loved and adored for his ability, by the Holy Spirit, to exegete the Word and expound on passages of Scripture that many believers had problems understanding.

In just few sentences with insight from the Holy Spirit, passages of Scripture would unfold and come alive like turning on a light switch. His wisdom over the years have help many believers understand their faith in the Lord, and how to present a vigorous defense of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

He is missed.

When I heard of the allegations of sexual immorality of Ravi, I discounted it when he accused his accusers of extortion. It’s instinct because of the accuser of the brethren. So like many believers we’ve taken what Ravi said as face value because of his impeccable integrity. When a man or woman has unquestioned integrity, Paul calls it “blameless.”

In fact, when the world can’t find or assign blame on you, it gives them a good indication that their life must measure up. Billy Graham had that kind of integrity to abstain from the minefield of sexual immorality.

There’s no question that the world tried to trip Billy Graham up but because he put safeguards in place, blame on sexual matters never found a place. Obviously, there’s other areas where Billy Graham was vulnerable and suffered for it, like his admission on the Nixon tapes about Jews, and other things.

But in this area of sexual immorality, Billy Graham is blameless.

After Ravi shared his defense, I thought that it settled the account. Then after he had passed away of cancer, it shocked the Christian world.

Later we’ve learned of a NDA, which is a Non Disclosure Agreement.

Much like what Harvey Weinstein made all his women he had sex with would do to protect Weinstein’s reputation and protect him from lawsuits.

It caught up with Harvey and he’s currently serving a prison sentence.

When ministers of the gospel engage in adultery or other sexually inappropriate behavior, even when it’s online solicitation, private chat rooms, and rendezvous at far or near hotels, because of their international reputation, such accusations is immediately challenged until the parties no longer agree to remain silent.

Since Ravi Zacharias died of cancer, the details are now coming out.

Luke 12:2-3 (NKJV Strong’s)

“For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.”

A man of God must remain above reproach because when the accusations start to come, your integrity is all that’s left. Once you lose integrity you lack credibility. Once you lose credibility, you’re disqualified.

1 Corinthians 9:25-27 (NKJV Strong’s)

“And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty.

Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.”

Once you’re disqualified, there’s very little that one could do.

Many ministers, after they’ve sinned against the Lord and are exposed, they’ve lost their credibility and fight vigorously to regain it.

When I was in the world of pornography, the Lord warned me over and over again, until I exposed myself. I rationalized that if the Lord exposed me like He did David, I would be disqualified.

So I penned the book Secret Sexual Sins. It wasn’t as good as it could have been but I penned another book Secret Sexual Sins II, MOAB. It’s in this book that I reveal more about the sexual immorality infiltration of local churches.

One person put it powerfully, “If you expose yourself, you keep your job. If God exposes you, you lose your job.”

So in blogs, and podcasts, I began to put out my involvement in the vile sin of pornography and masturbation. Usually, and not with everyone, sexual addiction will take you to places that you thought you wouldn’t go. Keep you longer than you thought, and make you pay more than you’re willing to pay.

Millions of men and women are caught in porn and self gratification.

This isn’t to say that Ravi was a sexual addict. It’s highly unlikely. Paul admonished Timothy to remain pure, to be an example of purity before the people

You can’t tell people to be pure if you’re not pure.

As we reach the end of our journey, we want to be genuine and legit. We want to maintain our integrity and credibility. We want people to say at the conclusion of our lives that this man or woman of God maintained his or her integrity and is blameless.

In 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (NKJV Strong’s) Paul said….“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Ravi died of cancer.

Without much thought, I put two and two together.

Paul said “If we would judge ourselves we would not be judged.”

Many will say that Ravi wasn’t judged, but are you 100% sure?

It’s instinctive to push a narrative to save the personal reputation of people, especially when your ministry or business is involved in millions of dollars. And when you stand in front of people, they have a certain expectation of you.

When you lose your hard earned reputation, when people walk, money walks with them.

They look at your integrity, they believe you, and they put stock in your credibility. Once this is attacked, nothing but an ironclad defense will salvage it. The NDA provided that deniability that preserved some measure of his reputation.

As long as the parties remain silent, and pay a little money, the alleged incident remains hidden. And even if you violate that NDA, the other party may hold themselves to the agreement for fear of being that aggressor in the agreement.

The Lord loves us so much that exposure is the last straw. When we fail to listen, or refuse to listen to the warnings of the Lord, the Lord will uncover us. Not just to bring shame on us, but to ensure that we come back to Him in repentance.

Because the most important thing is not the salvaging of our reputation, but the saving of our souls.

You can conclude what you want from this, but Ravi left way too soon. But now, with these new reports, we can see why he may have left us too soon.

Not only. was he was involved with another woman online, he denied the allegations. According to the report, he became a predator.

In the book, “Betrayal Of Trust,” there’s two kinds of pastors that engage in sexual immorality.

Wanderers and predators.”

A wanderer is one that engages a single time of adultery. A predator insists on repeating his or her offense. Their obsessed with the success of engaging in sin.

Ecclesiastes 8:11-13 (NKJV Strong’s)

“Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him. But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will he prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God.”

When you lose being afraid of God, it’s very easy to sin, but sin always come with a built in consequence. No one gets away with it. We’re given space to repent because the Lord is full of long-suffering, mercy, and truth. But when we insist, it’s a matter of time before the Lord see that He’s about to lose you.

Ravi may have repented and regained his rightful place in the Lord, but to ensure that the Lord doesn’t lose what He sent His Son to die for, sometimes, according to Isaiah 57:1-2, He takes the righteous.

He crossed the line and the woman sadly didn’t stop it soon enough.

The woman in question can share the blame because you don’t have to answer every email or go to the chat room. Silence is another way to declining further contact that opens up doors to sexual encounters.

When you’re engaging online, you have to have clear established boundaries. Failure to maintain those boundaries, leads only to consequences that damages the validity of the gospel, and brings shame to His name.

Perry Stone & Acting Inappropriately With Females

With Coronavirus and other national issues, we need all hands on deck.

Over the last few years, in watching Perry Stone, it’s clear that with certain messages that he was preaching, he was onto something. In particular with the end times.

However, in listening to some of his messages, my interest were perked when he would make some statements that were “extra Biblical.”

When you hear extra Biblical teaching, it’s also called sensationalism.

The whole purpose of sensationalizing the Scriptures is to get people interested to buy your material. You’re selling CD’s, Books, and other paraphernalia, and the Bible tells us the laborer is worthy of his hire.”

Paul said that “They that preach the gospel should live of the gospel.”

It was a command of the Lord but even Paul refused to take proceeds from the people so as not to discredit the gospel. We’re entitled but we can deny the entitlement for the sake of the gospel.

We don’t want to be PEDDLERS, or hucksters, or hirelings.

2 Corinthians 2:17 (NKJV Strong’s) “For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.”

Also………….2 Corinthians 4:2 (NKJV Strong’s) “But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.”

A ministry called by the Lord will be paid for where you don’t have to use any manipulative means to pay for it. But when you constantly hear about these sales and other things, it brings into question what you’re really doing this for.

Why am I mentioning these things?

When you’re working to make ministry work, it’s your labor. You will work tirelessly to produce results to appear successful. It’s a measurement. And you’re placing a demand that’s unreasonable and unrealistic.

Why?

It can’t be humanly sustained.

Dr. Ernest Cameron, my pastor, once told us, “What God calls for, He provides for.” This is to say that God does the work through us so we can rest.

So when I see questionable things, sometimes, not all of the time, it leads to stories like………

“Acting inappropriately” with female staffers.

These are precursor signs that a sexual immoral act is about to take place.

When you’re at your most vulnerable, these things will occur at the time of sexual temptation. HALT!!!!!

HUNGRY

ANGRY

LONELY

TIRED

Of course there’s other emotional episodes that we go through.

Dr. Archibald Hart said that sex is used as a pick me up when you’re down, or to reward you.

Some of you may remember Fred Price Jr. had done the same thing but it wasn’t called “acting inappropriately.” It was called “indiscretion.”

Which means that something was done and the use of other words was deliberately designed to cover up the actual sin. Whenever there’s a requirement to step aside from ministry, while we don’t know what happened, when it deals with males and females, we don’t need to guess.

Adultery or sexual immorality of some sort took place. If not, why is there a need to step down for a season?

When I came out of porn and masturbation several years ago, I never imagined how deep Secret Sexual Sins would be. The Spirit of God told me that this is the most heavily defended demonic sin in the Body of Christ. Self gratification (masturbation) is the most difficult part to break because of the hidden life AND QUICK GRATIFICATION without relationship.

Also, no STD’s or pregnancies.

A song came out several years ago with words that describe exactly what the Lord meant.

But it’s been changed a bit to underscore the chains of sexual sins.

The words are paraphrased.

Sexual sin will keep you longer than you’re willing to stay. Cost you more than what you’re willing to pay, and take you further than you’re willing to go. I will add, “Will bury you if you don’t let go.”

With Perry Stone and all ministers, we have our work cut out for us. The lusts of the flesh within us is constantly raging. In a flash, a scantily clad woman will come before our eyes. And then again, they may not be wearing provocative clothing.

The imaginations of our hearts and minds can easily conjure up a vision within our minds and according to Dr. William Struthers, he said that men are wired for sex.

Just an image is enough to start our cycle of sexual addiction.

Dr. Patrick Carnes said this about the cycle.

It starts with thoughts/fantasy, ritual, acting out, and ends with remorse.

To break the cycle, you must stop where it begins.

Thoughts/fantasy.

With images coming at a man, it just take a snap of the finger, like a flash while taking a picture, and we’re done. Unless we “cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.”

Why am I explaining this?

If you’ve been reading the material that I’ve blogged, it’s consistent in terms of men being wired and the cycle of sexual addiction. These two things are connected to the lust within the hearts of men.

Remember James 1:14-15?

That’s another Scripture that I’ve used to underscore the place where lust in a man’s heart abides. The wire and the cycle is defeated with the help of the Holy Spirit (see 1 Corinthians 10:13) to abstain and subdue his desires.

This is tied to 1 Corinthians 9:27.

Jesus told us to “Watch and pray, lest you fall into temptation. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.”

With Perry Stone, a lapse of watching and praying may have taken place.

When you’re not consistently disciplined, when you’re around the opposite or even the same sex, you’ll act inappropriately when you don’t maintain your discipline.

Pastor Roger Jamison told this to me from, I believe, H.B. London that sexual sin will ask you again and again if you want to engage. All the way up to your last breath, to see if your “No” means “No.”

Lurking within our members is the desire to break free of restraints. Restraints are in place to protect us from the consequences of our actions. But when we deliberately disregard these restraints, we commit the violations of the “FOUR “E’s.”

Elitism, Empowerment, Entitlement, Expediency.

This may not be the case with Perry Stone but it’s common among professionals and clergy.

  1. Elitism– the attitude or behavior of a person or group who regard themselves as belonging to an elite:

2. Empowerment– give (someone or themselves) the authority or power to do something:

3. Entitlement– the fact of having a right to something:

4. Expediency– the quality of being convenient and practical despite possibly being improper or immoral; convenience:

You could be in a place where you’re not supposed to be like being alone in certain places. This is the place predetermined to be a safe place where the chances of getting away with a premeditated or preconceived sexual encounter or inappropriate sexual behavior will take place.

Once a person feels safe, they engage in advances in hopes of gratifying themselves. But usually, it’s the hidden life (masturbation) of a person that leads to this.

Pornography, (just an accelerant) serves as the basis where you take things to the next level. When you’re dissatisfied with solo sex (masturbation) and you desire to take things to a physical experience, you will cross lines.

This is NOT to say that this is the case with Perry Stone.

Porn is connected to masturbation. That’s the reason why porn is so difficult to break because in this vile human trafficking, prostitution, strip club connected forum, you’re pretending to have a sexual encounter with that image on the screen or strip club.

The desires of a man is explained in Proverbs 27:20.

David took things to the next level. From the appearance of Scripture, David already observed Bathsheba for some time. The lust for her was building up until he had had enough and suppressed his relationship with God to sin.

To commit adultery with a woman or man, you must step out of the holy secret place. Secret Sexual Sins happen when you’re out of the secret place with God.

This time, he took it to the next level. After Bathsheba conceived, the plan of the cover up took it to murdering his trusted warrior. According to Levitcus 20:10, the adulterer and the adulteress were to be put to death. But the Lord put away the sin of David, but David wasn’t let off the hook.

David didn’t finish well as some would have you to believe. The Scriptures is clear that David finished poorly. The only crowning achievement attributed to the end of his reign was the material given to build Solomon’s Temple.

When we refuse to confess and lay bear our inappropriate action or indiscretion, usually it’s in hopes that time would lapse so we could make a return to the pulpit and make an attempt to regain what we’ve lost in sin.

We call it restoration.”

The Scriptures allow for restoration.

Galatians 6:1-2 (NKJV Strong’s) “Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

However, just know that it doesn’t end there. Constant watching and praying must be maintained to stay free of Secret Sexual Sins.

“Christian” Leaders Urge Pastors To Accept California’s Resolution To Stop Preaching Against Homosexuality

Just like the jet stream over North America travels from west to east, so does the winds of certain insane laws.

At this point, it’s in the California assembly as bill “ACR-99, Civil Rights: Lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender people.”

They claim that “conversion therapy” is harmful to those that practice the vile sin of homosexuality or those that surgically alter their gender.

But deep with every human being, even in dark hearted people, there’s a conscience. The ability to know right from wrong.

No one can escape what the Lord put in the conscience of man.

It’s also known as the age of accountability.

It’s when you’re fully aware of what’s right and what’s wrong.

“Conversion therapy” is just a side issue.

Even if you prohibit the preaching of the Word of God, what’s there to stop an individual from preaching?

Better yet.

You change the radio channel in your car and all of a sudden, you’re listening to preaching.

Or better yet, you’re at home watching TV, or you type something on Google, of all places, and the Bible shows up.

Or, you’re walking or driving somewhere and a billboard sign about the Bible or the Lord is on that sign.

But the best………the Lord happens to call your name, or you walk by a building where a service is going on, and you hear the Word of God, or the building reminds you of God.

There’s no escaping how the Lord will speak to sinners.

But here’s the worst thing.

You have people masquerading as “Christian leaders,” telling pastors to agree with something that God is against.

They claim that Jesus would approve if you do. Like former president Jimmy Carter saying that “It’s not in the Bible but Jesus would approve of gay marriage.”

But why would homosexuals want to agree with Jesus?

Wasn’t Jesus with the Father and the Holy Spirit when they met with Abraham in Genesis 18 and allowed the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah by the hands of two of God’s angels, and destroyed certain other cities in Genesis 19?

It’s debatable that the “men” that were present were The Lord God, and the two angels. Very plausible. The homosexuals in the city where Lot resided called the angels “men.”

Just thought I’d give this for good measure.

But also, 1 John 5:7 (KJV Strong’s) “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”

God is definitely different than the angels.

You want to follow the Lord Jesus that was in on the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah?

You want the approval of Jesus that was in on the destruction of the whole world in the days of Noah?

IF I knew who was behind destroying homosexuals and wickedness in Noah and Lot’s days, do I really want to follow Him? Most people that have a beef with anyone would want to do everything in their power to destroy Him.

Or, homosexuals wouldn’t want anything to do with Jesus, the One responsible for the destruction of homosexuals in Sodom and Gomorrah.

But you can’t have it both ways.

You can’t say Jesus approves and then vilify the very One behind the judgment of vile homosexuals.

It’s a clear contradiction or paradox.

The 2016 election was more than what people think.

Even with Trump in the WH, the LGBT agenda is alive and kicking.

Like I’ve said before, LGBT isn’t just happy that they could get weddings performed for same sex participants.

The demonic agenda is clear.

To get all true believers to conform to their law of lawlessness or be dealt with harshly.

The three Hebrew boys were challenged in Daniel chapter 3, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

Bow to this gold statue of Nebuchadnezzar or burn.

The boys chose to burn.

END RESULT: God delivered them.

Now we’re in the NT.

Persecution has already hit the United States in various forms.

It’s just a matter of time before lawful killing of believers will take place. It’s a matter of time before the lawful destruction of churches, rental facilities, or other designated places of worship be destroyed.

Man will devise laws but when they go against the Word of God, they’re immoral laws.

But be ready.

The persecution on the level of what we’ve read about on the continent of Africa is sure to pick up pace and occur in America.

Holding Men Accountable For Abortion

Nice idea.

Holding men and pastors accountable for the abortion of a child conceived in fornication and or adultery.

We all know that it takes two to tango (have sex).

But when things heat up like fire, all of the prohibitions are deliberately bypassed.

From a nice kiss, to necking, to full body contact, & touching areas to sexually arouse a person, and then straight to full sex before marriage.

These days, social media is the meeting place to establish a rendezvous for fornication or adultery. They don’t go out on a first date to “test the waters.”

They simply say when and where, hook up, and then hook up (lips and hips).

Even ignoring STDs.

It’s very dangerous out there and generally, people don’t care.

Paul said to “Flee fornication.”

Men are aggressive, but the woman is equally aggressive, but more so passively like a Venus fly trap. But also, some women don’t want to appear “loose,” but when the man insists and smooth talks her, we’re taken back to the Garden of Eden (pleasure).

satan engaged in a smooth talking conversation with Eve, all based on her discussion about the tree of the knowledge of good and evil with Adam.

She had an interest in that tree and not the tree of life, planted by the Lord right next to each other.

satan knew that she had a conflict with her husband and wanted to have that tree. She was interested in its power called “good and evil.”

She insisted and needed a reason to partake of that specific tree, AFTER God told Adam that he could eat of all the trees in the Garden, EXCEPT that tree.

After being misled by satan, that she would be like God, knowing good and evil, the adversary lied to her and told her that she wouldn’t die and she believed it.

The lust in her mind had received another word that would counter the Word of God. She established in her mind enough reason to get to be like God, knowing good and evil, break the commandment, and not be held accountable for it.

When she was told that, in outright defiance, she walked right up to that tree with eyes of lust and lust in her mind, took of that tree, and ate.

But nothing consequential happened to her…yet.

It’s like you ran the stop sign but you didn’t get caught.

If something consequential didn’t happen to one person, it emboldens the others to do it.

Adam was right there with her, she gave him the fruit, and he ate.

That’s when their eyes were opened. They knew that they were naked, and in shame, made figs to cover themselves.

Sin brought forth death.

The same sequence in one way or another happens in the bed of fornicators and adulterers. They lie to each other that nothing will happen.

For men, condoms are a pain. You have to stop to put it on. For women, there’s so many contraceptives but each one has risks.

Even though abortion is known to be decreasing, and that’s because of other methods employed to “fix” what the world says is “the problem.”

But abortion still is, perhaps, the most common way to kill a life to pretend that it’s ending a pregnancy, deceiving ourselves into thinking that the abortion/murder affects only the body of the woman.

In fact, it’s clearly documented that when an abortionist/murderer goes into the womb to snuff out that child’s life, the child pushes itself up into the deepest part of the womb to avoid the pain.

Remarkably, doctors are able to operate on a child in the womb, and the child understands the difference.

This false narrative of “It’s MY Body!!!” is used to deceive people into thinking that the baby, conceived in sin, isn’t affected at all. Also by not calling what’s conceived, “a child,” and call it an unfounded word fetus, is a critical delusion, bought by most people.

The drum beat of “It’s my body” is another grave false narrative to get us detracted from the brutal murder of the body inside the mother’s body.

But the abortionist is pulling out a child, limb by limb. Heads are crushed by forceps, the back of their necks are cut open, their body parts are harvested, and the rest of this babies is placed in red biohazard bags, boxed up, and then sent to facilities to be cremated.

While in the Old Testament, babies were murdered outside the womb, burned at the altar of Molech as a sacrifice to this god. However, babies today, are murdered in the womb but pulled out, each part accounted for, and cremated.

That’s the only difference.

God knows each child’s name.

So what happens is that the male goes free, having enjoyed his sex, while the woman enjoyed the sex too, but is given the task to get rid of the child, and they call it “stopping the pregnancy.”

So the cowardly male gets to walk away. Some of them insist that the woman he impregnated get an abortion. He can’t afford child support but he could afford fornication.

A few years ago, 400 male pastors were found on a list soliciting sex from a site sponsoring adultery. They would anonymously enter these sites, use their credit card, establish a rendezvous, commit adultery, all without their wives not knowing what they were doing.

It’s common knowledge that porn stars are prostitutes. And it’s common knowledge that prostitutes, when they get pregnant, they arrive at the death house to end the life of a baby.

We all know that there’s more than 400 pastors that do this.

Their names were discovered in a hacking incident.

Pretty much, the Lord that they claimed to be living and preaching about, exposed them.

So far, we know of one pastor that committed suicide, leaving a wife and three children to fend for themselves because he couldn’t handle his exposure.

Even sadder is the fact that some of them were responsible for the deaths of children because of lust in their hearts.

Just as Adam failed to protect Eve from satan, males fail to protect the woman and their child conceived in sin.

This is not to be taken as advocating or giving license to commit sexual immorality. However, we all know that sexual immorality will continue because males and females refuse to sexually control themselves.

And make no mistake about it, they will be judged by God according to Hebrews 13:4 and Revelation 21:8.

If there were a law that would make the male responsible for impregnating the woman before she would get the abortion, I don’t know if it would make a dent in curbing sexual immorality, but one thing’s for sure.

Already, in the court of Almighty God, every sexually immoral man will give an account of his sin.

Both the male and the female are equally charged as a co-conspirators.

Complicit and guilty of fornication/adultery, and guilty of murder.

However, before their deaths, if they repent, the Lord promised to forgive them (see Isaiah 55:6-7).

But they have to be born again, never to sin sexually again.

When The Pastor Has Lusting Eyes For You

In my previous article, we know that sexually immoral women have lusting eyes for male pastors, but the opposite is just as true.

Sometimes it’s the combination of the two when sparks fly.

Opposites attracts.

A number of things could be behind the motivation of a male pastor to commit adultery, or if he’s single, commit the sin of fornication.

But it always begins with lust in the heart.

All a male need is a firecracker to come into his mind. Or in his mind, he constantly fantasizes or sexually objecticize women, inside and outside the house of worship.

In the book, Betrayal of Trust, there’s two types of male pastors.

“Wanderers & Predators”

The wanderer strayed from his marriage and regrettably sinned against God, and violated his vows to his wife to remain faithful. He’s regretted the sin and returns to his wife, to remain faithful for the rest of the marriage.

Then there’s the predator. He searches for a vulnerable partner and usually he picks out vulnerable women that may be looking for male connections.

It’s not always the case though.

Some of them are emotionally unstable, and this, in and of itself, isn’t the only reason that they allow themselves to be duped by a male pastor, but it’s probably high on the list.

Like an animal predator that looks for the young or the weak, the male pastor does the same thing. He seeks out the immature women in the Word of God and smells the scent of hopelessness, unsure, insecure, always looking for support and direction, filled with despair, isn’t confident, is very dependent, and very unsuspecting.

He avoids the strong in faith women in the house of worship.

He uses flattering words, give small gifts, and gains the confidence of his target. As soon as trust is built, he takes things to the next level.

At first, his target will appear apprehensive and very cautious. She instinctively gives signals that this isn’t appropriate. But he’s done it before. Male pastor predators are patient, looking for that one moment of a break in her defenses.

But words are seeds, gestures are seeds.

She ponders these kinds of actions and as soon as he determines a crack in the armor, he makes his move.

His eyes makes contact, he makes subtle touches of the hand, the shoulder, the waist, the kiss on the cheek.

ALL THESE ADVANCES IS A SET UP AND IF YOU’RE NOT CAREFUL……..

Many vulnerable women made the mistake and drop their guard.

After it’s all said and done, a regrettable sin is committed.

He used you and things are different now.

But it never stops. It feels like you’re obligated because it goes from a one night stand to an ongoing immoral relationship that goes on for days, weeks, and months.

That feeling of obligation is a sexual tie, only validated by holy matrimony.

That feeling of obligation is an immoral invalid tie to that male pastor.

Genesis 2:24 (NKJV Strong’s) “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”

Notice what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 6:16-17 (NKJV Strong’s) “Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.”

So even if the pastor is married, the woman outside the marriage that engaged in sex with that pastor, established an illegal tie with that man.

When a woman expresses that they have “feelings” for that male pastor, when it’s solidified in the bedroom, the tie to him is immorally established.

This is where the woman must exercise caution and not be found in a place where a male pastor pursues an illegal immoral sexual relationship. Nothing good comes of this because sin is present.

Sin has consequences. And sin, in the end, leads to death.

If you’re about to be taken advantaged of by a male pastor, it’s best to seek the counsel of a wise, prayerful, seasoned in the Scriptures woman. Afterwards, it’s best to find another local assembly because if you remain there, he will make another advance.

It’s never a bad idea to SOUND THE ALARM.

Declare, in love and humility, what you know is the truth, and do that according to 1 Timothy 5:19-20.

If you seek to be slanderous, this is “sowing discord among the brethren.”

If you lie about it, all liars will have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone” (see Revelation 21:8).

Sometimes, he will not take “no” for an answer.

He will do everything in his power to close the deal.

The devil operating in that immoral pastor is a smooth talker.

Don’t even tell him that you’re leaving the house of worship for another.

Just abruptly leave. There’s nothing in the Word that tells you that you have to stay when that male pastor made a pass at you. You know what’s next and there’s no sense in remaining in a place where a lot of people will get hurt.

Even when you’ve established good relations with other members of that house of worship, when a male pastor, or any male is making unwanted sexual advances to you, leaving is an option on the table that should not be suppressed.

Hebrews 13:4 and Revelation 21:8 is clear.

There’s no beautiful sunset.

If you’re single and waiting for a man to pop the question of matrimony, it’s worth the wait. If you’re married and your marriage has lost its spark, adultery with a pastor is not the answer.

The Scriptures is clear about holiness and personal holiness must be maintained on both sides of the pulpit.

Beware of the wolf’s eyes behind the pulpit.

“Be sober. Be vigilant.”
