Franklin Graham Addresses Mayor Buttigieg’s Homosexuality

Franklin Graham recently told Mayor Buttigieg to repent of his homosexuality.

It’s clear that the homosexual community struck back by showing how out of touch the traditional Biblical view is towards progressive homosexuality.

The world is under the sway of the wicked one according to 1 John 5:19.

We must remember that sin is not normal.

Righteousness is normal.

The part of the proof that righteousness is normal, apart from the Scriptures, is our judicial system.

Is stealing wrong?

Is adultery wrong?

And btw, Who said that it and other things were wrong?

The Lord.

Who said that homosexuality is wrong?

The Lord.

Proof is when the Lord poured his wrath out on Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis chapter 19. Then the Lord instructed and commanded the children of Israel that homosexuality is “an abomination” (see Deuteronomy 18:22).

Further proof is the consequential judgment imposed upon all that practice this abomination (see Romans 1:27).

Over the course of recent time, the world went on a tear to normalize the sin of homosexuality.

We all know that at least in the United States, that within certain segments of the houses of worship, pastors have allowed with their knowledge and sometimes, without their knowledge, the practitioners of homosexuality to provide music as organists, music ministers, choir masters, singers, etcetera.

We know that this is a deliberate infiltration to normalize the practice of homosexuality to be accepted by God.

Far from the truth.

Just because it may be allowed in a house of worship by a pastor doesn’t mean that God permitted it. For the Lord to permit it, He would need to declare His hypocrisy.

Mayor Buttigieg declared that he’s an Episcopalian.

Just because you’re a part of a mainstream denomination, it doesn’t mean you’re in the kingdom of God.

If you truly love Jesus, you would do what He said.

Matthew 7:21-23 (NKJV Strong’s) “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

John 14:15 (NKJV Strong’s) “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

1 John 5:2-3 (NKJV Strong’s) “By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.”

When you look at these Scriptures, have you noticed that there’s no commandment giving you permission to commit sin?

Some will dare say that this is about addressing love for the brethren.

But why would we exclude some of the teachings of Jesus just to deliberately ignore dealing with the lawlessness of homosexuality?

Which is exactly what the practitioners of sin want to do.

Deflect attention from the real issue of the vile sin of homosexuality.

But notice this.

Even if you don’t want to accept the Bible, or the judicial system against wrong doing, look at the growing epidemic of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).

Then according to Isaiah 5:20, many want to pass laws to make sin normal.

And if that’s not enough, man is doing everything in his power to find a cure to reverse the affects after there’s a transmission of a sexually transmitted diseases associated with the practice of sexual sin.

It’s not the cure that will deliver people from the consequences of sin. Finding a cure emboldens sinners to continue in sin.

Mayor Buttigieg, and all practicing homosexuals need to repent.

We that believe in the Scriptures, speak the truth in love.

We don’t want to see these people die in their sins and be judged by the Lord and cast into the lake which burns with fire and brimstone.

No one fights a firefighter that comes to save a person from dying in a burning building.

No one fights a lifeguard that risks his or her life to enter dangerous waters to save a person from drowning.

In fact, they scream………”Save ME!!!!”

But when a preacher risks his or her life to preach salvation to sinners, many turn away and condemn the preacher.

Such is Franklin Graham and many other preachers.

All we’re trying to do is share the only message of hope for ALL sinners, for Jesus to save them from their sins.
