Eddie Long? King?: New Birth Under Strong Delusion!

Just Stop Using OT Symbology For NT Living

Just Stop It!!!!

We have seen a lot of controversial presentations and teaching over the years that bring into question, not only the people that purport these presentations, but obviously the source of their teachings and doctrines. It goes with saying that when it comes to the Bible, we can make a doctrine sound so convincingly “anointed.”

Just recently, I observed, by way of Facebook from another source, Eddie Long being anointed “king?” You Gotta Be Kidding Me!!!!

I thank Lutricia Abdullah, and give the credit to her for posting that YouTube presentation on my FB page. She actually got it from Minister Danita Waller Paige. It takes courage to post a troubling video to point out the spirit of error operating in the church in this age of apostasy.

While watching this on YouTube, my heart cried out because I look at the people and no one is stopping the onslaught of incorrect teaching in the Body of Christ. Eddie Long invited this guy. What amazes me is that when you invite someone, you want people to know what’s behind this invitation.

And there was no question in my mind that a “reinvention” or a “re-anointing and kingship” of personal exaltation before the people was the purpose.

When you look bad before the people because of a Secret Sexual Sins scandal, you will look for ways to make yourself look good.

After all. Image is everything.

When your wife divorced you and people are saying some things, both true and bad, you want to do something to bolster your persona. When you are losing money in the millions, you need to do something to keep the cash cow flowing.

It’s not about getting before the Lord in repentance.

There’s a lot of Eddie Long supporters that are so delusional that if God stood next to Eddie Long, they would worship Eddie Long and tell God to go stand in the corner.

When you steal the hearts of the people away from God, it is no different than satan stealing the hearts of the people when he killed Adam and Eve in the Garden.

If you want to do OT, go ahead and get some sackcloth and ashes and help yourself!

A couple of years ago, we’ve seen controversial teaching about the ark of the covenant. Some of you may remember Juanita Bynum’s album, “Behind The Veil.” She also did some presentations with the ark of the covenant. Creating replicas and the anointing oil. It’s astounding to the mind as to why people are going backwards in their Bibles.

When you read these 39 OT books, it leads you into the 27 NT books.

The OLD leads into the NEW!!!!!

Why is it that preachers and NT believers go backwards into the OT?

There is a reason.

When you are not walking by faith and you are walking by sight, that’s the OT.

God had to move by sight because Israel didn’t believe.

The Lord God moved through signs and wonders to convince the children of Israel that He is God.

But they paid no mind (see Hebrews 4:1).

In some cases, right after the Lord would perform a miracle, they still didn’t believe Him. They murmured and complained. Sounds like most NT believers today.

The true purpose of faith is to get you to believe God apart from the external reasoning that is before us to completely trust in the living God.

All through the OT, we see God moving and Israel disbelieving Him.

The tangible presence of God is a wonder to behold. The Lord showed up after the Tabernacle of Moses was completed and erected. The pillar of fire by night and a cloud by day. The presence of the Lord is a wonder to behold. When the Tabernacle of Solomon was completed and after Solomon made his dedicatory prayer, the Lord showed Himself in the Shekinah Glory.

There is no arguing when the visible presence of the Lord is amongst His people in the OT.

What about the NT?

How does the Lord show Himself in the NT?

The fruit of the Spirit which is a revelation of the character and nature of God, living out the life of Christ in complete trust and strict obedience to the teachings of Jesus, the Anointed One.

Christ in you, the expectation or hope of glory.

If people cannot perceive the life of Jesus in you then they are intentionally blind, you are a babe in Christ, or the Word is intentionally disobeyed through willful neglect.

The true manifestation of the sons of God is not in behavior only. It’s about accepting and wholly adhering to what Jesus taught and living that teaching every moment as a true disciple of Christ.

There is no question about the external displays of God’s presence, but we must be careful.

We see in Acts chapter one that the Lord Jesus said to the disciples to tarry in the city of Jerusalem until they be endued with power from on high.

On the day of Pentecost, exactly 50 days after the Lord was resurrected, the disciples tarried in the upper room. With 120 disciples in attendance during their prayer meeting, the Holy Spirit came like cloven tongues of fire and sat upon each of them. That’s not all. The NT believers receive the initial evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit by speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Incidentally, in 2 Chronicles 5:1-14, after Solomon made his prayer, there were 120 priest singing and playing instruments. When they made one sound before the Lord, the Lord showed Himself.

In both of these instances, the Lord showed Himself in a mighty way.

The key was that in the OT and in the NT, they were both on one accord.

This is the prerequisite for any move of God. There must be an assembly of unified believers before God will manifest His presence. God also showed up when Nimrod built the demonic tower of Babel. The people were of one language and the Lord knew that if they stayed one under demonic conditions, nothing would get in their way. Their languages were confused and they were dispersed.

Now the difference between these two incidences, Acts and 2 Chronicles, was the external temple made with bricks and the personal temple in the hearts of people.

The new birth in Christ is the difference.

When God created the Tabernacle it was a temporary outward symbol until a permanent inward dwelling called “habitation of God by the Spirit,” would take place through the life, death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus.

Why do we go backwards?

It is apparent that people want a move of God. A tangible, visible move or manifestation of God. And some of these pursuits is nothing more than mysticism and spiritism. Especially when there is no Biblical or Scruptural authority, foundation, or harmonic Scriptural confirmation.

Prominent church leaders that see no harm, believers that see no harm must beware of the spiritual compromise that lurks in their egregious affirming of Eddie Long’s action as depicted in this video.

Such affirmation reveals a sinister connection to seducing spirits and doctrine of devils. To just assume that Eddie Long is misguided, confused, or otherwise, without understanding that every move he made, was meticulously calculated, is the spirit of strong delusion on the part of deceived believers.

There must come from prominent men and women of God strong condemnation of these actions and not mince words as if you are in the “good old boy’s club.

This is not a “train wreck.”

This is error bordering blaspheme.

It amazes me that people that possess a Bible do not know what the Lord provided for His people. You are sitting in church, and you have a copy of the written Word of God. You have the mind of Christ through the new birth, and the power of the Holy Spirit, and you cannot detect that something is wrong?

No matter how eloquent and smooth talking a person is, if you know what your Bible says, you have to speak up before someone gets deceived.

When the presence of the Lord manifested in the OT, you could see Him every day. In the NT, it’s all about faith without sight.

The book of Hebrews answers all our basic questions about the tabernacle and it’s purpose. God saw fit to explain to us that when you go backwards, you are destroying everything that the Lord did through the Lord Jesus. As Paul said in Galatians 3:24-25, the law was a “schoolmaster” to bring us to Christ.

“Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.”

When you watch that YouTube, please note that the NT is forever established through the blood of Jesus. Not only that but the Lord Jesus is the fulfillment of the law.

Look at what Romans 10:4 says,

“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.”

Listen to this out of the Amplified Bible.

“For Christ is the end of the Law [the limit at which it ceases to be, for the Law leads up to Him Who is the fulfillment of its types, and in Him the purpose which it was designed to accomplish is fulfilled. That is, the purpose of the Law is fulfilled in Him] as the means of righteousness (right relationship to God) for everyone who trusts in and adheres to and relies on Him.”

Therefore, my question is simple.

Why do they do it?

I believe that they (Eddie Long and New Birth) are involved in two things.

One. Strong delusion.

Two. When it comes to sin, the Jews took advantage of the annual time of atonement. When you know that your sins of the past year are going to be wiped clean in one year, you would sin as much as you could too.

From time to time, other Jewish religious customs and traditions were implemented that transgress the commandment of the law were introduced as what I would call “egregious evolving tradition.”

This illustrates the error of David who used a new cart to carry the ark of the covenant that God commanded the Levites to carry on their shoulders.

However, we are not living in the OT. We are living in the New Covenant, ratified by the blood of Jesus. The emotional hype overrode the NT Word of God.

If any of them knew their Bible, they should have walked right out.

The NT, we are commanded to repent according to 1 John 1:8-9. In the NT, we are commanded to “…abstain from every form of evil (see 1 Thessalonians 5:22).”

In the OT, atonement meant covering. In the NT, we are washed and made clean from sin by the blood of the Lamb, and we do not have to wait for an annual day of atonement. “Once and for all…” according to Hebrews 9:11-15.

With Eddie Long, we must remember, he never repented. When the allegations came about, he started out by saying that he would defend himself against the allegations.

Five smooth stones and one not thrown yet, equals a smooth talking person with a lot of explaining to do.

Only to end up settling in court for $25 million dollars to seal what actually took place.

You do not settle unless there is overwhelming truth to the allegations.

Everyone in the United States knows that if someone were to bring frivolous charges, if there is no evidence, you will own that fraudulent individual, hands down. When you settle and seal the case, everyone knows that there is something true to the charges.

If it were me. Fred Rochester. I won’t need a law firm. I will demand a speedy trial. I will tell the media this is the truth. I have nothing to hide. They are all liars. Let them bring the charges right here, right now. When it’s time to present the case before a judge. I would not bring it before a jury because of the confidence in the truth. It will be trial by judge. In court, all I have to do is get on the stand. Be examined and cross examined.

When I know I didn’t molest anyone, they better had prayed. Better yet, they better retract the charges, repent, and ask for forgiveness.

There is a difference between saying….“I did not do it” and “I am not the man they portrayed me to be.”

They accused me, let them prove it.

They accused me, I will prove my innocence because I didn’t do it.

That’s the difference!

They better have pictures, DNA, eyewitness testimony, alibi, phone records. The whole nine.

I won’t have to serve a reciprocal lawsuit for slander.

God will take vengeance on my enemies, before, during, or after the trial.

It’s a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

People need to be reminded of Jonathan Edward’s powerful message.

“Sinners In The Hands Of An Angry God”

It will not go easy in the hands of an angry God.

If they don’t repent, they are liars, and they will all pay if they do not repent.

Jesus said that it would be better if they commit suicide that to mess with His children. A fate worse than suicide will be the way you will die in the hands of the Lord.

So do yourself a favor.

Commit suicide before the Lord gets a hold of you for slandering His child. God will wipe them like a man that washes a dish to clean a plate, and lay it upside down to dry.

Seven things the Lord hates and He calls it an abomination.

A lying tongue!

The Bible tells us in Revelations 21:8 that “all liars will have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone.”

There is no need for NT believers to incorporate OT symbology when Christ fulfilled the law. Man is incapable of living up to the law so Jesus came and lived the law out for man, in man’s place. Sinless. Not only that, but He became the Mediator of a better covenant, established upon better promises.

There is no need to enter into His gates when the child of God is seated in heavenly places in Christ. You are already in the Holy of holies by the blood of sprinkling.

You are already in the presence of the Lord by faith in the blood of Jesus.

Why yearn for something or Someone when He lives within you?

Why get wrapped with a Torah when you are already wrapped in His arms.

The people at New Birth are under strong delusion.

They do not know their God and their Bible. They are trusting in the arm of flesh instead of God.

People of God, you have a Bible, and plenty of reasonably God anointed teachers of the NT. Someone should have gotten up on the stage and said that… “This is not God!”

There is only one King of kings and Lord of lords.

Why are we so bent on lifting up flesh of fallen men? Are we trying to hide and cover sin or are we supposed to confess and forsake sin?

Why use the OT to pronounce a new anointing when the OT is incapable of giving any anointing. Remember, the Lord ripped the veil in two pieces, signifying that the way into the holiest is open to all who will accept the provision of salvation through the blood of Jesus.

The OT is incapable of giving NT believers a new anointing. The new anointing happened on the day of Pentecost. All you have to do is accept by faith and grace the provisions of the Lord. We do not have to use OT symbology to live in the NT.

All we have to do is obey what Jesus taught us.

It would have been grand if Eddie Long would have stopped and said, “Something isn’t right. Lord, I repent.”

It would have been something if Eddie Long would have led New Birth in the prayer of repentance.

When you are in strong delusion, you will not consider repentance because any admission before the people that believe in you would be a tremendous loss.

But that loss would have been of great gain.

The throne of God’s people’s, their hearts, would have been cleansed for God to resume His Lordship over Eddie Long and New Birth.

Stay away from strong delusion wrapped in hype and emotion.

It’s deadly and it will cost you your life.

Pastoral Sex Scandals; How To Avoid Them

Sex scandals. You know that another one is going to happen. It’s just a matter of when. Truth be told, there are too many undisciplined pastors, sexual predator pastors, immoral women, and Jezebels for another scandal not to happen. One too many is a stain that disturbs the integrity of the purpose of the local church.

Male pastors that fall into these sexual traps do so because of several things. I find that the root cause of all sex scandals is determined by what the pastor is or is not doing in four basic areas.

Number one, his relationship with God in his secret life (prayer & the Word).

Number two, his relationship with his wife.

Number three, his relationship with his peers.

Number four, his relationship with his congregants.

Number one: Relationship with God…

Quality time before God will help to keep most pastors from sexual scandals.

Most pastors have daily devotion. The quality of a pastor’s devotion is in his brokenness before God. When you are too busy to pray and read the Word for you and not for sermons, you are headed for disaster.

Acts 6:4 says, “…but we will give ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word.”

Devoting your life to God requires that you pay attention to the quality of your relationship with God. Is God your friend or is He just God? Having said that, Secret Sexual Sins always creep up when a pastor is not serious about his personal relationship with the Lord. A pastor may know how to pray. A pastor may be a master at articulating and formulating words that sound so spiritual but do they come from the heart.

A pastor’s quality prayer life reveals the depth of his relational intimacy with God. Prayer is the vehicle by which we breath in the presence of the Lord. Prayer, when done correctly, serves as a reminded that we are in the presence, the holy presence of the Lord. Prayer keeps our heart right and in tune with God. Prayer keeps our heart sensitive to the Lord.

Psalm 27:8 says, “The Lord said to me, ‘Seek My face.’ My heart said to Him, ‘Your face, Lord, will I seek.”

This is the kind of praying that communes with God. Pastor Roger Jamison, a mighty man of prayer, calls it, “fellowshipping with the mysteries” (see Ephesians 3:8-11). Mystery in Ephesians has something to do with, according to Strong’s Greek/Hebrew Definitions “the idea of silence imposed by initiation into religious rites.”

So what the Lord is saying is that if you really want to know secrets, fellowship with the Lord in the secret place. The Lord satisfies all our longings inside of us, including the longing to be intimate. True intimacy is when you no longer look to the flesh to find satisfaction as a horse chases after a carrot on a stick. God will satisfy every desire. Every need. Every longing in your heart. Provided you seek Him in the secret place on your face, seeking His grace to avoid disgrace.

You can put your hat on it. Secret Sexual Sins is the scandal behind the scandal. What is going on in a pastor’s private sexual life is the reason for all uncovered sex scandals.

Porn and masturbation is at the top of the list and the root cause of all sexual scandals.

Number two, his relationship with his wife.

Quality time with your wife will help to keep most pastors from sexual scandals.

Many pastors do not know or desire to properly relate with their wives. The pastor that fails to honor and esteem his wife but honors and esteems other women is a recipe for disaster. Most male pastors treat their wives with contempt, disrespect, and like dirt. Most male pastors treat a female congregant better than their wives.

The sinful secret life of a pastor is the root cause. When porn and self gratification, commonly called masturbation is heavily in the life of a pastor, he will relationally and sexually distance himself from his wife. The wife will do everything in her power to save her marriage, however, when the husband’s heart is out of sync with God, ultimately, it spills over into his relationship with his wife.

When a man of God knows how to “perform” his ministerial duties like a robot on command, when it is time to stop performing, the real person shows up. He acts the part in front of the church, but lurking inside is the evil venom that porn produces.

Porn is perfect sex, with perfect submissive women, to give man perfect pleasures.

ALL LIES!!!!!

In a pastor’s delusional world, he will compare every woman against his wife. And when he is done, he will only have contempt, anger, and bitterness towards his wife. When Sister Suzy Cue comes, he is completely mesmerized and under her spell.

To prevent sexual scandals, a pastor must maintain his relationship with his wife no matter how “perfect” other women come. He must also regain “sexual sobriety” by prayer, the Word, and personal accountability partners that provide unavoidable, inescapable measurable accountability standards. He must also have a good relationship with his wife, including sex. Sexual sobriety is the ability to experience sex in healthy ways. This includes being able to do without sex or masturbation for sexual sobriety to be achieved.

He must honor and esteem his wife in front of the congregation at all times. It must be truthful and balanced. It must not be one sided. All husbands could say that the relationship is good but the congregation need to hear from the wife as the counter balance.

Pastor Roger Jamison said this to me and it is true. If you want to find out about the truth of all scandals, the majority of the time, all you have to do is look to the wife.

Number three, his relationship with his peers.

Quality time with your peers in transparent accountability will help to keep most pastors from sexual scandals.

This is the most difficult part. Male pastors love to protect their image. They want to appear smart, good looking, and “anointed.” Any blemish and they feel inferior or less than a man. When sexual stuff is discussed, it’s the taboo subject among men of God. When porn and masturbation is discussed, forget it. They will not show up to discuss it.

Why?

The secrecy.

If it could be kept a secret, and if nobody knows, then I can keep my secret activities going. All uncovered sex scandals is just a revelation of an ongoing sex scandal that took place, perhaps years ago. The first porn magazine or movie combined with masturbation. The first sexual encounter with a woman outside of marriage.

Molestation or incest or sibling sexual encounters. These activities have bound many men of God from pouring their sexual lives out because of the shame associated with it.

Granted, safe places must be established where the boundaries are established and where prayer, the Word, help, righteous judgment confrontation, and healing is ministered in a non condemning, compassionate way according to Romans 8:1-2, Galatians 6:1-2 and James 5:16.

If you don’t feel safe you will continue to escape.

Number four, his relationship with his congregants.

When a pastor betrays his trust, it is because they have crossed the line from helping people to helping themselves to sexually take advantage of an emotionally vulnerable female congregant.
On the other hand, there are boundaries that women do cross to set themselves up to connect with an “anointed” married or not, man of God.
In both instances, both are at fault. A pastor must maintain his professional distance to preserve the integrity of the office he claims to have received from the Lord. A pastor’s wife said that she didn’t mind if and when her husband complimented the beauty and dress of another congregant.
I beg to differ.
Traps are set all the time. Even in the most subtle ways.
Everything may not be a trap but why leave it to chance?
You would be surprise how long something could be meditated upon. Words of complement goes a long way in a woman’s world. So there must be caution at all times.
Sadly, women that do not experience compliments, let alone connections with men will attempt to connect with a man of God. The spiritual aura observed by woman upon a man of God is sometimes too much of an allure to resist. For some strange reason, the anointing is perceived as power and the man has to have something to make himself look attractive.
For a pastor to cross the line and compliment a woman, it makes her beam. It is called “The Law of Attraction.” Then it turns into a Fatal Attraction. When you are attracted sexually to a man of God, it is best that you find another church. It’s even better if you get help as well as search for another local church.
When a man of God fails to operate in complete integrity towards any member of his congregation, it is tailor made that a scandal can happen. To keep things on the professional level is difficult for pastors because he wants to be accessible to all of God’s people.
However, such accessibility must have restrictions because not everyone comes to church for the right reasons.
LADIES: Find your own husband if you are married. Single women, keep your distance from a married man of God. Trouble could be avoided when you maintain your distance.
PASTORS: Never counsel women by yourself. It is an invitation for sexual scandals. Should it become necessary to counsel a woman, refer them to your wife, if she is capable to minster to them. Refer her to an elderly woman in your church that has prayer and the wisdom of God on her life to impart wisdom to the younger ones. Or she must be counseled with your wife present.
No excuses or exemptions.
Look for the subtle traps they set. Leaving personal items in the pastor’s study. Leaving hotel or apartment or house keys at the church. Long personal conversations. Exchanging telephone or cell phone numbers. Doing personal favors. Riding with the pastor alone.
All of these are traps designed to set you up for failure.
When an attempt of a Jezebel spirit came before our church, my wife and I set the church on a prayer watch. It worked. When you have a prayer group, predominantly women intercessory prayer group that knows what to look for in the church, it is just a matter of time before the wool on a wolf causes the wolf to experience heat exhaustion.
PASTOR’S WIVES: Never assume innocence. Sadly, there was a time where innocent things appear to be just that. These days, that’s how covert sexually immoral activities start. It’s not that you are to be suspect of every person that comes to your husband, however, the devil is crafty and subtle. If your husband is smitten by a woman, he will not see it coming because his memory banks is filing everything about her.
It is your job to “remind” him to be careful.
When he doesn’t want to listen, you have to be very persuasive. If necessary, use tactful ways to let the women know that your husband is your husband. Serving notice on other suspecting women will help keep your husband safe.

You do not have to trip on folks. What you are doing is preventing disaster to your marriage and your church.

The devil does send “plants” called the immoral woman (I call them Moabite women) and he also sends the Jezebel. The immoral woman just want male companionship to fulfill relational connection needs. Jezebels will exchange their body for power. As long as Jezebel gives Ahab the use of her body, Jezebel expects to run the kingdom.
You can have a sexually scandal free church provided you implement these and other safeguards.
If you want to keep your relationship with God, your life, your wife, your family, and your ministry, avoid the very appearance of evil and stay on the alert.
