Many of you may have heard of “Face To Face.”
David E. Kelly claims to have seen Jesus in a face to face encounter.
Notice the picture of “Jesus.”
It’s a dead give away.
I’m not saying that this photo or any photo that David E. Kelly uses is an actual photo of Jesus.
Most people post these and other photos which is complete error on their part to attract the gullible.
Only the gullible will be duped by this false prophet.
There’s also some pictures on his FB page and website of clouds that appear to have a face in them and the beholder is duped into thinking that this is Jesus.
The Bible is clear.
1 John 4:12
“No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.”
No one living today knows what the Lord looks like outwardly.
Especially when the Bible says, 1 John 3:2 (NKJV Strong’s) “Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”
Many people will ignore these Scriptures and that’s where the danger is.
If David E. Kelly were serious, he wouldn’t post these pictures to deliberately mislead people.
But first, it’s all over the Internet that Vicki Yohe, a Christian singer, appeared on YouTube to explain a serious situation involving sexual immorality between her and David E. Taylor for 16 months.
Some of you may be familiar with David E. Kelly.
He gave a deposition regarding using ministry money for unlawful personal purposes. His answers were very crafty and questionable.
Now we’ve seen this before when another false teacher talked about angelic visitations while involved in adultery. He performed these sins even while well known Christian leaders were on stage, endorsing his ministry.
His name is Todd Bentley.
The saying goes…..“Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.”
When you hear strange doctrines coming from people, if you don’t know your Bible and the God of the Bible, it’s very easy to be deceived.
And that’s not all.
More likely than not, sexual immorality is closely associated with it.
The point is simple. When there’s strange doctrines involved, sexual immorality will be closely associated.
Peter said these words in 2 Peter chapter 2 and verse 14….“…having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children.”
In a recent video of David E. Taylor, he claims to be saying that pastors are speaking against his “divine ministry.”
People need to put their big boy pants on and keep it moving. If someone speaks against your ministry, welcome to the club.
You don’t have to act possessive and childish.
That’s the difference between His Kingdom and your empire.
Throughout his discourse, there’s no denial of the allegations of being sexually involved with Vicki Yohe. Usually, if there’s false allegations, a person will defend their integrity.
To be charged with adultery, or with any kind of sexual immorality like porn, masturbation, prostitution, homosexuality, etc., when you’re involved in a very “powerful” ministry, you would do everything in your power to defend yourself against the charges, IF YOU’RE INNOCENT.
Instead, we see people use the same spiritual cliche’s that are hollow.
“If you speak against me and my powerful ministry, God will get you.”
The sad thing is, we all know that people have walked away from his “ministry.”
What also tends to happen is that he will do everything in his power to stop the bleeding. He’s being attacked. So, he is counter punching. It’s not that he’s being attacked.
He’s being EXPOSED.
Now regarding his claim of “visitation” of the Lord Jesus in a face to face encounter, it’s clear to me that the Lord does appear to people from time to time, but if such divine encounters occurred, it’s so sacred, that people will have a marked changed about them and they will more than likely not advertise the encounter.
In Vicki Yohe’s YouTube video, if memory serves me correct, she accused David Kelly of being involved with another woman and he dumped Yohe. If this is true, if you’ve had an encounter with the Lord Jesus, you would NEVER engage in conduct that would bring questions to your walk in the Lord.
True ministers of the Lord are more concerned about the integrity of their relationship with God than with their ministry. In fact, more often than not, a minister can do without ministry.
You love the Lord more than the “ministry.”
So David E. Kelly’s claim to have had a Face To Face encounter with Jesus, if these allegations are true, are very suspect at best.
Then you have the very words of Jesus Himself in Matthew 24, verse 11
“Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.”
Matthew 24:23-28 (NKJV Strong’s)
“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
Did you notice the two places that Jesus mentioned that false prophets will use to attract you to them?
Look…Here is the Christ.
Look…There is the Christ.
Look…He is in the desert.
Look…He is in the inner rooms.
These two places, the desert, and inner rooms are locations.
The desert is dry and the inner rooms are overt and covert secrets.
David E. Kelly said in one video about an “elite anointing.”
No such thing in the Bible.
They all begin with “Look.”
In order for you to look, you have to believe what they’ve said they’ve seen.
Always take with a grain of salt those that said they’ve seen the Lord and then they tell you to come and “look.”
Has anyone noticed that no one says that they’ve seen satan?
We must remember that people are hungry for a spiritual encounter with the Lord but they’re looking in places where Jesus isn’t there.
Here’s another thing.
They always have “spooky music.”
Most keyboardists know that “stringed” instruments pull on the emotions of people and they become more open to “spiritual” things with the right keys and chords.
Personality people on stages can’t do without it.
Music is a power few don’t resist.
But here’s another thing.
It also disarms the unsuspecting, if you yield, you surrender common sense, you disarm due diligence in investigating these hucksters, and once they do these things, they completely abandon the correct teachings of the Scriptures.
Paul said in 2 Timothy 4:3-4 (NKJV Strong’s) “…for the time will come when they (believers) will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.”
In one video, where David E. Kelly was talking, while some may feel bad about him, we should feel even worse for the ones that were on the stage behind him.
It breaks my heart to look at people being deceived.
But the houses where there’s full of people, Proverbs 14:15 is all over the place.
If there’s ever a time we need to be even more discerning, it’s these times. But it’s a clear moment that we all should be aware of.
The coming of the Lord is imminent.
False prophets are rising with more frequency.
Paul said in 2 Timothy 3:13 (NKJV Strong’s) “But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.”
Take the time to investigate their fruit.
The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 7:15-20 (NKJV Strong’s) “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”
So at this time, it’s best to declare “Face To Face” as a very suspecting event and to steer clear of things like this. You can get more watching a man milk a goat than a man speaking great swelling idle words.
It’s when a person had their sin exposed that you would find them contrite and broken in their hearts for departing from the Lord and entering into sin.
A person will do one of two things.
If he’s innocent, fight the charges.
If they’re guilty, “Godly sorrow that works repentance, leading to salvation…”
Regarding David E. Kelly, we’ve seen him fight the charges but when you use a lot of spiritual cliche’s that we’ve heard before from other personality false prophets caught in sin, it’s clear that something isn’t right.
What is David E. Kelly also fighting?
To keep getting PAID.
If the money stops, you have to work for a living.
Paul said, “For the love of money is the root of all evil.”
You can’t sit a false prophet down. And you can’t make a false prophet sit down.
Ladies. Learn to guard your heart according to Proverbs 4:23.
Learn to be a lot more discerning and not allow yourself to be captured by the smooth words of a false prophet.
Sadly, Vicki Yohe got taken because many women that are gullible.
Ladies, don’t be another victim.
If you’re thinking about getting close to a man of God, if he’s married, you have no right even thinking about it.
Keep your heart clean.
If you see a ring on him, walk away from him.
It’s not worth the fires of hell for one moment of pleasure.
A politician will do anything for votes, but when you find out that he lives with his “girlfriend,” that is not his wife, it’s fornication.
John the Baptist spoke to Herod and Herod believed that John was a righteous man. Herod knew that John was right. Herod and his new wife, Herodias, were in an adulterous relationship. No doubt she was furious and steaming mad. She wanted to have John killed so Herod put John in prison (see Matthew 14:1-12).
I know there is price for speaking the Word of political power but we all know what this leads to. A suppression of the truth that endangers preachers everywhere. We know well the risks but we must remain obedience and avoid turning the other way. We must not refuse to point sin out to save our necks.
It’s not coincidence that sexual immorality is connected to this. So it is very easy for Cuomo to advocate for homosexuality when you are a practicing fornicator.
So there has been much said by misguided people that we “can’t legislate morality.”
Well, look at the world “legislating immorality” at will, and daring anyone to preach righteousness.
Well, Mr. Cuomo, the Bible is clear. You are living in sin. Repent.
You are legislating immorality. Repent.
You are attempting to silence the voice of God and His Bible. Repent.
“For we are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. For it is the power of God unto salvation.” Romans 1:16
If people want to come out of sin, you can’t stop them. Millions have turned away from this perversion. And the LGBT camp themselves will tell you that no one is born as a homosexual. This lie has been refuted by lesbians and homosexuals.
Homosexuality is a sin of choice not a flaw of creation.
Sin came by the devil through man. Original sin did not come by or through God.
Therefore, even if you and other misguided politicians continue to legislate immorality, you can’t stop God and His Word. In fact, your own conscience is filled with the knowledge of God and it’s inescapable.
You are powerless to erase God from your mind. Even in hell, should you not repent, your very soul will remember God and His Word forever. Except it will be powerless to save, deliver, or set you free. The Lord is firmly Lord over all and there is nothing that you can do to stop it.
You can legislate to silence our voices but as long as we have breath, you and all others will hear the unadulterated Word of God. This Word will be heard in all eternity, forever, and there is nothing that you can do to stop it.
You know full well that God is against the sin of homosexuality, adultery, fornication, bisexuality, bestiality, pornography, and masturbation. Your own conscience has already judged you. And you are already condemned (see John 3:17-36) and the wrath of God abides on you and others.
The only thing that is left is the formality of the eternal sentence issued by the Judge of all the earth.
And that goes for you to, Mr. Christie.
The story about the governor of NY could be read here.
“Finally, Zika reminds us that over and over nature is a formidable enemy,” he said. “We wish we knew more we wish we could do more. We know this is anxiety provoking for pregnant women and their families.”
Notice the phrase “nature is a formidable enemy.”
This is a direct source reporting on the new epidemic that is transmitted sexually.
While nature plays a role in infecting certain people around the world, we see that it cannot stop humans from engaging in illegal sex called adultery and fornication.
Now we are reminded that this disease can affect married couples that never engaged in illegal sex.
So what’s the point?
The point is simple. We know that people engage in homosexuality, bisexuality, fornication and adultery.
It’s a reminder that we need to abstain from sin.
It is also a reminder that these are the last days as the Lord Jesus told us.
Matthew 24:7-8 “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
Note Strong’s Concordance definition of the word “pestilence.”
g3061. λοιμός loimos; of uncertain affinity; a plague (literally, the disease, or figuratively, a pest):— pestilence (- t).
AV (3)- pestilence 2, pestilent 1;
pestilence a pestilent fellow, pest, plague
So if there is any question about the last days, look no further. Many more may be headed this way but it is a sign of the end times before the coming of the Lord.
As a note, earthquakes have occurred in Oklahoma on a regular basis. Japan has had an eruption recently. Nations are rising against nations. Just look at the on going battle in Syria, Ukraine, Iraq, and other places. Famine is still an issue around the world.
Jesus said that “All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
The additional definition of sorrows is as follows……“the pain of childbirth, travail pain, birth pangs intolerable anguish, in reference to the dire calamities precede the advent of the Messiah.”
Like a woman that is about to give birth, these signs are upon us. Whether they are occurring rapidly or with varying intensity, it really doesn’t matter. What matters is that it is happening just like the Lord said.
That’s what we should be paying attention to. Unmistakeable, undeniable signs that point to the coming of the Lord.
So if you are still caught in the web of illegal sexual activity, Revelation 21:8, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Hebrews 13:4, and Matthew 15:18-19 is looking at all those that run the stop sign of God’s Word.
This was posted on my FB timeline.
There was a man in a certain country that solicited the services of a prostitute. It would be his last sex sin. The paramedics had to place his dead corpse on a gurney with the living prostitute on top.
Evidently, his penis enlarged itself in her vagina and possibly rigor mortis set in where she couldn’t disconnect from intercourse. Or possibly, the man took viagra and blood settle in his penis, who knows?
But according to Proverbs 7, the prostitute, as an immoral woman, is the staircase, descending into the “chambers of death.”
Chambers is defined as an “apartment.”
This is where we get “prison cells” from.
This man committed adultery or fornication, died in bed, and went directly to his eternal “prison cell.”
Such a story resonates. But people will not listen. They will continue to seek pleasures rather than seeking God.

Brothers, watch where your eyes travel. Too much flesh on DailyMail.
A NEW STD IS AMONG US
MG it’s called.
Actually, according to the report, the disease has been around since the 1980’s and is curable. It’s one of the “pests” of sex that people wish would not happen.
Whenever a report on STDs comes out, it it clear that more people are infected and that they anticipate that more infections will be reported.
The one thing that I read is that they’ve tested 200 teens that were not sexually active and found that they all tested NEGATIVE for the disease.
At the end of the report, they stressed condoms.
Wait a minute……
Did anyone catch this?
If you are not sexually active, it means that you have no need for condoms, which proves one thing.
Psalm 107:17 says “Fools! Because of their transgressions and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.”
You may be insulted but according to Psalm 107:17, people are still acting like a fool. According to the Lord God in Genesis chapter 2, sex is reserved for married people, one man and one woman. Sexually transmitted diseases are designed to reinforce what God ordained.
When there is sex outside of this God ordained institution it carries a carries a consequential judgment. A penalty.
Should people die in their sins, Revelation 21:8 tells us that the “sexually immoral” will be cast into the lake which burns with fire and brimstone forever.
Remember. God created us in His image. His highest attribute is “HOLY.”
Sin is opposite of righteousness, holiness, and purity.
Since God created us, He makes the rules. When man violates His rules, there is a moral penalty applied.
Just like when we are driving and the cop or trooper pulls us over for speeding or other traffic violations, we are assessed a penalty.
Just like when we commit a crime, we are arrested, tried in court, and should we be found guilty, we do time in prison.
Did you just see the difference?
Illegal sex is like a traffic violation and the STD was the penalty.
The crime of an unrepentant life demands eternal prison time.
Many will say that this is not fair, that we should be able to do as we please.
Revelation 4:11 “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
God placed within this life all of the benefits of life provide that we follow what He said. When we do something apart from what He said, God demands justice. Remember, He is holy, righteous, full of compassion, love, mercy, and truth.
If God didn’t love us, He would never give us a chance.
In truth, and because He is holy and just, the Lord God judges us.
Without this eternal righteous standard, there wouldn’t be an incentive to repent, receive salvation, and obey His Word to live holy. The fact that the Lord gives us a chance to repent tells us that this is MORE THAN FAIR.
Especially in light of the fact that the Father demonstrated His love for us by sending His Son to die for our sins to completely pay our debt.
Notice Romans 5:8-9. “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.”
Many people have failed. This author included, but because of His mercy and compassion, He gives us all another chance, not a second chance because every one of us blew away that second chance.
We accept by grace through faith the gift of salvation to avoid the wrath of God. The STD is not the wrath of God. Should you die without Christ, hell, and then the lake which burns with fire and brimstone is the eternal wrath of God.
Believe me when I tell you, the tribulation period is also the wrath of God, poured out on the earth, but it pales in comparison to the eternal wrath of God for which there will be no relief.
Remember. God created us and He can do justly as He wishes.
Perhaps you are reading this and wonder if the Lord would forgive you for continuously blowing it. As the late David Wilkerson said, “sin and confess, sin and confess.”
That’s a merry go round that we need to stop. The constant cycle of guilt and remorse must come to a halt. God knows what’s best for us.
If we want sex, we must get married first.
Many want the benefits and gifts of marriage without actually getting married. That’s not how it works and you know it. Sex outside of marriage is destructive. It’s dangerous. It carries more woe for man and woman than imagined. Worse of all, it keeps you in bondage to sin as it’s slave.
Ask one slave if he or she ever loved being a slave.
They will truthfully answer that they wished that they were free.
Jesus can make you free indeed after you come to the knowledge of the truth.
Do you want to be free?
It’s up to you. The Lord Jesus suffered the penalty for every man and was imprisoned in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights to appease the just and righteous demands of the Holy and Righteous God.
All the hard work was done by Jesus to free you. You get to do the easy part.
Repent and abstain for the rest of your life until you get married.
Sadly, a lot of people will not listen. The other sad thing is that people, including me, thought that when we would get married that all of the sexual triggers, desires, urges and impulses would be satisfied.
To be able to have sex all of the time is a fantasy. We are still permitted to have sex with our married opposite sexed partner, but there’s a lot of dynamics that must be factored.
Timing and making time for sex. Work. Children. Emotion state of each other. Financial well being, and other issues makes it very challenging to have sex. This is another reason why many married people engage in the extracurricular activity of masturbation.
You could be in the heat of the moment but your partner is sick, not at home, went to bed early, emotionally detached from you because of personal issues, and a host of other reasons.
Even masturbation is out of bounds because God designed sex to be shared between two married persons of the opposite sex. Which means the fruit of the Spirit called “self control” must be employed until you can come together to have sex.
So the rule still exists and there is nothing that you or anyone else could do about it. Congress, the president, and SCOTUS can’t legislate against God’s ordinance to draft and pass a law to stop STD’s from occurring.
The lie of “safe sex” will not help.
Safe sex is a myth. The only safe sex is married, one male, one female for life, or abstinence. Condoms circumvent the Word of God and you know it. This is called “suppress the truth in unrighteousness.”
In other words, they hold down the truth so that it would not try to convict them. But when the truth is released, man is powerless to stop the convicting power of the Holy Spirit in the Word of God.
And even if you use a condom, there is always the possibility of a failure, leakage, or other common missteps. Because of the desire for full satisfaction, condom-less unlawful sex.
Sex is for married couples of the opposite sex.
Sexual immorality carries a consequential penalty and an eternal penalty should people remain unrepentant. God offers forgiveness and healing when we repent and place our full faith and trust in the salvation provided through the sacrificial life, death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus.
Anyway, you can read the article here about MG.
Well, as I have said a very short time ago, pastors and adultery is not the surprise issue. We all get highly upset about it and treat it with disgust, but look deeper and you will see that porn and masturbation in a pastor’s life is the foundation of all adultery. There are two kinds of adultery.
- Sight Adultery. Matthew 5:27-28.
- Physical Adultery. Exodus 20:14 & 1 Corinthians 7:2.
To top it off, this pastor takes church funds ($22,000.00 over time) to pay for the high end of sexual addiction of acting out his fantasy.
Yes, married pastors that sin sexually will take things to the next level in the world of sexual sins.
According to Dr. Patrick Carnes’ this is the “cycle of sex addiction,”
1. Thoughts or fantasy.
3. Acting Out.
Level one sexual addiction involves porn, masturbation, prostitutes, and adultery with mistresses, and fornication should a professing believer or sinner isn’t married.
Not everyone is a sex addict, but when you are only controlling and managing your sexual appetites, you are determining the frequency, time, and preferences to act out sexually other than with your wife.
After the fantasy of masturbation gets old, the next line to cross is illegal sex with another man or woman.
As I have said before, the lines that people say they wouldn’t cross are crossed eventually.
There was one comment in the article that was interesting. Words to the effect…….“Aren’t there more important things for Charisma to report?”
When it comes to pastors and adultery in the church, the Lord is exposing the leaders that profess to know Him with their mouths but their hearts are far from the Lord (see Matthew 15:8). There is no question that this is a serious issue in the house of the Lord. It brings into question their relationship with the Lord and with their wives.
This is not the last report because we know that there are ongoing incidences even as we read this and other articles.
These are the last days and sadly, many will pay the price for walking away from the Lord. Then again, there are others that commit this sin who were never saved to begin with. We don’t know what’s in the heart of this pastor, but clearly Hebrews 13:4 and Revelation 21:8 is in play unless true repentance and faith toward God is made.
Another thing that the Lord told me was that satan hasn’t brought out his best.
IF you are a pastor and you are struggling with porn and masturbation, and you have been tempted to take things to the next level. Meaning that you haven’t crossed the line into prostitution and committing adultery with a mistress, this is the time to rein in your sexual appetite and get help from the Lord.
You are about to get exposed and the Lord loves you enough to reveal the dirt in your heart so that you can get things right with Him.
No man commits adultery, watches porn, or masturbates without first divorcing himself from his relationship with the Lord.
And let us not forget that another wife and family is destroyed. The wife will undergo many seasons of despair, anguish, embarrassment, and pain as this is publicly laid out. And the mistress who is in need of deliverance. She played a crucial role in the downfall of this pastor. While it is possible that she is unsaved, she too, is in need of the Savior.
The article about this pastor taking $22,000.00 to pay for his adultery could be read here.
We understand the impact of this incident that potentially over 400 pastor’s would be revealed. However, sometimes we do not count on a pastor to commit suicide. Sadly, it may not be the last pastoral suicide for pastors with their names caught on the list.
We grieve for the family he left behind. They somehow have to pick up the pieces to understand the magnitude of his Secret Sexual Sins and his suicide. Grace and healing is available from the throne of God. It will take time and we should understand that. No family speedily recovers from this tragedy. However, recovery and healing is possible. No one can ever fathom the loss, let alone the reason behind this tragic loss.
It is not safe to say that there would be no more pastoral suicides. Pastoral suicides has become all too common. We really do not know how many pastors commit suicide after such a discovery, but it is beginning to seem like there is no other reason. We know that the work load of a pastor, depending upon demographics, attendance, and counseling of people will take its toll.
Few know how to get away and get with God to recover.
Being a pastor places a strain on marriages.
While we do not know the inner details of their marriage, it is enough to say that every marriage is different. Dynamics are different and how to gauge the health of a marriage can only be done by the couple going through the marriage and what steps ministers and wives take to navigate the difficulties associated with marriage and ministry.
Sadly, the other end of the spectrum is that most pastors believe that they are indispensable. Or that they are super heroes and can save everybody while refusing to look after themselves. We are not saying that this is the reason, but it could be a vital part of the equation.
The other thing that is of grave importance is the pastor’s secret lives and their sexual activities outside of their marriages.
Secret lives include porn and masturbation, combined with acting out sexually with persons other than your wife, to be very specific. It underscores the importance to get before God to keep your heart clean, and to have “other eyes” on your life that you feel safe to let your hair down.
No pastor and his wife can do no wrong than to have someone to talk to and be transparent with to ensure that the devil has no place in their lives. Men are more vulnerable and too, they are more frightened to expose the secrets lurking in the hearts. It makes them feel less of a man and out of control.
But we should already know that God see us (see Psalm 90:8), and our secret sins are before the countenance of God.
The devil takes no prisoners according to John 10:10 and 1 Peter 5:8-9a. Therefore we should do everything in our power to keep our heart from traveling into the dark places. For in the dark places, no pastor can fellowship with God while walking with devils.
We pray God’s comfort on the family.
The story about this sad tragedy could be read here.
Luke 12:2 and Psalm 90:8 never fails.
A very well known man of God, R C Sproul Jr., revealed his Secret Sexual Sins.
It takes courage to put out your sin. However, it should never take a hacker to put it out there to get you to confess.
It is unfair to speculate and it isn’t right to assume when you do not have the facts.
As best and as transparent as possible, R C Sproul Jr. put out as much details as possible to get us to understand his involvement with Ashley Madison’s adultery site. He is a widower so this, according to him, may have been after the death of his wife in 2011 of cancer.
One thing about secrets that I do know, unless this is a very truthful revelation, it leaves open the possibility that other secrets MAY be lurking. We do not know for certain and again, it would be very unfair to speculate without facts.
When dealing with Secret Sexual Sins, it is clear that there is the possibility of other forms of involvement in sexual sins, such as porn and masturbation that may be evident. Each person is different. There may be no involvement of porn and masturbation by R C Sproul Jr. We do not know and it would not be appropriate to seek this information.
I know what this is like BEFORE the Lord exposes you.
In my book Secret Sexual Sins, there is a chapter called “Come Clean! Or Be Exposed.”
I detailed how the Lord rescued me before He would tell the world what I had been up to in porn and masturbation.
It’s embarrassing for the Lord to put your sexual business out for the world to see, but when you insist on sinning before God, and then attempt to cover it up, you shall not prosper (see Proverbs 28:13).
The one thing that God always does is that He offers grace and forgiveness no matter how far along you are in your rebellion. When God exposes our Secret Sexual Sins, it is embarrassing but had we received the chastisement of the Lord before exposure became necessary, the embarrassment would still be there but He will graciously restore us on His time table and not ours.
There was a statement that said, “If you expose yourself, you keep your job. If God exposes you, you lose your job.”
I find that sometimes, that may be the case depending upon the individual. Sin definitely disqualifies a person from ministry as Paul states in 1 Corinthians 9:27, but we also see that restoration is the heart of the Lord in Galatians 6:1-3.
In order for quality restoration to come to fruition, we must never set a date for a return to ministry. We may suggest. We may ask. But that power should be left up to a strong accountability team that is tough but compassionate. Offering sound Biblical counsel to get a person that was once in ministry back on his or her feet again.
Jesus restored Peter after Peter betrayed the Lord. Every Saul needs a Barnabas, son of consolation. God restores the soul according to David’s 23 Psalm. Psalm 51 is the adulterer’s Psalm.
As I have stated in a previous blog post that 400 pastors (could be more) may have used the Ashley Madison adultery site.
More than ever, the web of sexual immorality is spread out to capture many souls to get them to hell. We need to pray for our leaders and we must be ruthless about our sins before we are ruthless about the sins of others according to Matthew 7:1-5.
Let’s keep R C Sproul Jr., and others in our prayers.
R C Sproul Jr’s admission of sin is on his web page and could be read here.
