Since covering the porn scene among professed believers and coming across mind numbing statistics, we see that nothing’s changed in terms of believers decreasing their exposure to sex filled movies, shows, and skin exposure in church services.
Porn watchers are enslaved to the images and enslaved to sexually manipulate him or herself in masturbation to satisfy themselves.
Porn is only an accelerant. More on this later.
The ability to be immodest is continuing in church service. The deliberate lack of discerning certain shows that what we expose ourselves to, is rampant.
In other words, we dethrone God to enthrone sin.
First, to address the modesty issue.
Men and women are exposing themselves to wearing certain articles to attract the opposite or same sex.
We all know that it’s summer time out there but it doesn’t give anyone the authorization and blatant excuse to wear things that we know are sexually provocative.
If you have to pull up your blouse to cover your cleavage, you know that this is a red flag. If you have to pull down your high skirt, you know it’s a red flag.
When you have to wear a cover to cover up your legs in church, it’s a red flag.
Now, this is not wrong to cover up in and of itself. At least you recognize that too much flesh is showing. It should be a very loud indication to you that perhaps your dress is a little too short.
Modern dressing doesn’t allow to look “old fashioned.”
It’s not fashionable these days. But holiness is the requirement when entering and participating in the holy worship of our Holy God.
As I was going street preaching one day, I walked by a “Seventh Day Adventist” Church and observed these red flags. I’m not an Adventist, so scratch that thought. I was walking by that church.
They appeared to be attending “church” but looked like they were going clubbing for men. Legs and cleavage.
A few years ago, I was listening to an interview of a believer interviewing a former prostitute. She said that in a well known mega church in California, female prostitutes would enter the service and sit in close proximity of their “client” while the client was sitting next to his wife.
She also said that there was no fear of God in the house of worship because the preacher would never preach on holiness.
Let me say this, that even if a preacher were preaching on holiness, for some, it will not make a difference.
If a person is bent on sinning sexually, only their death would stop them, unless they catch themselves and repent.
In the book of Numbers we see a story of Zimri and Cosbi.
Zimri was a leader and brought a Gentile woman into the camp against the commandment of the Lord. He and she walked by the Lord, the tabernacle of meeting, Moses, Aaron, and Phinehas.
At that time, the plague was moving throughout the camp because of sexual sin with the Moabites. Phinehas picked up a javelin, went into the tent where Zimri and Cosbi were, and killed them with one thrust of the javelin.
It stopped the plague and Phinehas was blessed by the Lord because the zeal of God within him judged the sin.
This was the “example” that Paul mentioned in 1 Corinthians 10.
In many of our regular Christian services, woman are wearing less and less. They are pushing the boundaries and men that aren’t disciplined will look at them lustfully.
Now we know that it is one thing to come to church sexually provocactive but when a man has lust in his heart, he doesn’t care what a woman is wearing. So there is two sides to this thing.
It’s not always one sided.
Intentional sexual dressing for church service to immorally tempt a man is more than provocative. It crosses the line of modesty where men, who are struggling to maintain their consecration to God are doing everything in their power to ignore them.
Feminine power to sexually influence a man immorally is demonic. It is passive manipulation. On the other hand, lust filled men is demonic and it is active manipulation. The collision course of the two brings death in their lives.
Most men do not know how to “bounce” their eyes to avoid looking at deliberate sexual provocation inside the service or outside as they are walking the streets.
But the sexually disciplined man will find a way to completely ignore these immoral women.
Not every woman that comes to church is immoral or deliberately intend to entice a man. There is holy women that come to church for the right reason and there are men that come to church, walking in wholehearted consecration and dedication to God.
But let’s face it.
Sexually immoral women will do everything to attract the attention of a foolish man.
Proverbs 7 speaks a such a man that went looking for sexual sin. The married, spiritually speaking adulteress found him and coerced him into her house.
It’s the same in today’s world of church service.
More and more, we are seeing an abandonment of morals and men diving into their house to commit adultery, homosexuality, bisexuality, and fornication.
But the door into sexual immorality has always been that the sexually suggestive tv ads, movies, and shows that introduce porn. The internet always have teaser ads next to the articles that you are reading. Reading the internet news is no different. The sexually suggestive ads draws a man’s attention. Photo shopped pictures increase the attractions in making pictures appear larger than normal.
Provers 27:20 says that “Hell and destruction are never full. So the eyes of a man are never satisfied.”
The Lord said to me as He was instructing me….”No sense in looking at someone that you can’t have. If I can’t have her, there is no sense in lustfully looking at her.”
Makes sense to me.
The basics of temptation are recorded in James 1:14-15.
A man is enticed when he is drawn away with his own lust-filled desires.
In other words, the moment he desires illegal sex, the enemy sends the enticement.
The enticement is a direct suggestion (temptation) to pursue that which is not lawful.
Sin is conceived in the desire to fulfill an evil fantasy. Sin, when it is finished, brings forth death.
That’s why in the church service, you have to be very careful not to allow your eyes to “travel” from the presence of the Lord.
Which brings me to emphasize again that the purpose of porn is no different than an accelerant for fire. When evil passion is in the heart of a man, he will go to places to fulfill that evil passion. Acting out sexually in adultery, fornication, bisexuality, homosexuality, and masturbation, or all of the above.
So be careful about the movies that you expose yourself to.
Radical amputation is the ability to cut off the right hand and pluck out the right eye to avoid sexual sins. If you are not willing to do without movies, you run the risk of being so overwhelmed with lust that you deliberately fall into sin.
This article on “Game of Thrones” is powerful.

It’s amazing when you watch a well known celebrity lay hands on Bishop TD Jakes, and the Christian world declares that Tyler Perry can preach and he is anointed by God. Tyler Perry is a real man of God. He speaks about “our” issues and he’s real. He talks about what really goes on in church. Y’all better stop talking about Tyler Perry cause he’s for real.
Then, all of a sudden, what does happen in church, happens to him.
When you have someone that went through some stuff, pull up his boot straps, and make it, he could do no wrong.
We don’t mind these kinds of stories because it gives the rest of us hope that we can make it.
When you wear women’s clothing that is against the Scriptures (Deuteronomy 22:5), make movies that mock the true church of God, interweaving fact with fiction and call it real, and then lay hands on a Bishop, preach with no call of God on his life, and then celebrate a child out of wedlock, does these sins exemplify true Christian living that glorifies God?
Do not deceive yourselves.
Just because people fail the standard (Bible), it doesn’t mean that the standard (Bible) failed.
God’s grace is not just about cutting man some slack. It’s about bringing man’s sins to bear on his life, to cause man to recognize the goodness of the Lord, and to get it right. Grace gives man a chance to get it straight with God. Favor demands you get it straight before it is too late.
Romans 6:1 says, “Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we that are dead to sin live any longer in it (sin)?”
Haters of the Scriptures will never rightly divide the Word of truth on this issue.
It is no wonder that the Lord told me and others that this generation of believers is some of the worst ever on this planet.
This generation of believers live by Isaiah 5:20.
Folks, Jesus said you shall know them by their fruits.
In Matthew 7:15-20, the Lord Jesus said “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”
A lot of carnal believing people will defend Scripturally indefensible positions. The “Judge not” crowd already came to his defense.
When it comes to sin, there is only two sides of the fence. You can’t stand on both sides, otherwise, you are an enemy of God according to James 4:4. You can’t be a friend of the devil and a friend of God at the same time. Love one and hate the other. “You cannot serve two masters,” said Jesus.
Paul said this in Galatians 4:16, “Am I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth?”
There will be misguided immature people that will judge the Word of God that we share and call us Pharisees, holier than thous, talking about God’s anointed, putting your mouth on people and prophets.
Folks have a bad habit of distorting the truth so that their sins would not be exposed and brought to the light.
Jesus said this in John 3:18-21 “And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
Fornication is not a work that is done in God. Righteousness is a work done in God.
One person posted on FB that “At least he didn’t have the child aborted. They should get married”
Sometimes, when people make these kinds of ill-advised ill-conceived statements, this is a deliberately conspired, vain attempt to cover the sin of fornication. Marriage and abortion after the child is conceived is the world’s way to cover their sin of fornication or adultery.
Sadly, over the years, professed believers have increasingly incorporated this act to cover sin.
God doesn’t appreciate that you are sewing fig leaves to cover your nakedness.
In fact, Yolanda Adams (Adams is not the woman that got pregnant) celebrated the coming of their bundle of joy.
I thought that sin was sin and sin is never to be celebrated. God never celebrated sin. The Lord God judged sin in the flesh of Jesus. Meaning that the Lord God sent His only Son to die for the sins of the world. The Lord Jesus didn’t die for our sins so that we could commit more sin.
God kicked sin out of heaven and sin will never return into the domain of God forever.
The Lord Jesus prayed the Lord’s Prayer and part of that prayer was, “Forgive us our debts or trespasses.” He also prayed “Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
Sin is not the will of God in heaven. It is the will of the devil on earth in unregenerate man and carnal believers that have yet to learn how to walk in total obedience to the Scriptures.
What we have seen in the Potters House with Tyler Perry and TD Jakes having hands laid on him is consistent throughout much of the Body of Christ. We excuse people from walking in genuine Christian maturity, and exchange it for performance and showmanship. In front of a crowd, we love to see people go ooh and ah when we say and do spiritually spooky things.
And some preachers Jesus would call, hypocrites, brood of vipers, and snakes.
When the show is over, reality continues.
No change when they come through the doors and no change when they walk out the doors.
Because leaders do not change.
The Lord Jesus died for our sins to free us from sin. While we are not perfect, and we never will be, we are expected to repent, ask God to forgive us our sins, and never sin again by walking in obedience to the Scriptures.
SO, this is not gossip.
Let’s define gossip.
Gossip is a “casual or unconstrained conversation or reports about other people, typically involving details that are not confirmed as being true:”
Since Tyler Perry announced that he fornicated and a child is produced out of wedlock, this is not gossip. The woman he fornicated with is not off the hook. She is guilty of sin just as Tyler Perry is guilty.
Since he has a following, many people will sadly follow suit and do the same. The spirit of fornication and adultery is heavy in the house of worship. Some pastors are not taking a stand by calling this a sin, but they are also celebrating the birth of a child. There is nothing against the child. I was born out of wedlock. The child is here and there is nothing that we can do about it, except call it what it is.
A child that is not born with the parents being a husband and wife before conception.
The Bible calls it “FORNICATION and ILLEGITIMATE.”
Illegitimate meaning that the conception happened outside of wedlock. The child is a legitimate child, no doubt.
He didn’t announce the fornication, just that he impregnated a woman that he is not married to.
The celebration begins.
This is true facts, not rumors.
Therefore, this is exposure.
Scriptures come to mind when you deal with fornicators.
Ephesians 5:11-13 “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.”
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.”
Hebrews 13:4 “Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.”
Now there is a way for Tyler Perry and all other fornicators to get out of this. The only way out of this is to repent.
Repent means to change your mind or reconsider your ways.
Isaiah 55:6-7 says, “Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.”
So, let’s command them to repent and pray that they ask God to forgive them.
Forgiveness is only offered after a person repents of sin. The pattern is clear as to how God forgives sin.
Luke 17:1-4 is that pattern.
Before I begin, I want to thank The Lord for inspiring Mr. Lonnie Poindexter, CURE Director of Outreach and Education, for inviting me to the Press Conference and Legislative Briefing for Congressional Leaders in Washington D.C. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
I wrestled with going but through it, The Lord was in it. I spoke to my wife, Valeria, about attending and as always, she goes with the flow of the Holy Spirit in my heart.
Our 28 year old daughter, Sheryl, accompanied us and she graciously handled getting our hotel room because we knew that we need to rest after driving down from PA (which coincidently is the state where they dropped the ball on investigating the Gosnell abortion atrocities for 15 years).
My thanks to my wife and daughter for accompanying me.
Incidentally, while we were on our way to the press conference, we were already in the DC area, I stumbled upon several speeches on my car radio, made by the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Especially the “I Have A Dream” speech made in 1963 on the Lincoln Memorial. I was only 2 years old at the time he preached that message but I noted that he was 32 or 33 when he made that speech.
He, and other Civil Rights leaders were relatively young but had hearts of fearless lions.
Such a daunting task, yet, with God’s unquenchable grace, these ordinary men met the challenge with an extraordinary Word from God.
In a way, it was to be a special moment. No where near the electricity of the moments of 1963, but enough power to at least let us know that we can rise to the occasion at anytime to stop injustice towards African Americans.
“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere”, said Dr. King.
The moment that my wife and I arrived, we sensed the presence of The Lord in this. Brother Lonnie said this on at least two occasions and that’s what was confirmed in my heart as we prepared to stand with our colleagues in the ministry.
It wasn’t just a moment of political grandstanding. It was a stunning moment where a reckoning was underway with a sense of urgency.
You can feel the fierce tugging of demonic forces surrounding the area but as Elisha said to Gehazi, more are with us than those that be with them.
It became a defining moment in the history of African American pastors that were willing, not only to demand that Congress hold hearings and shut down the abortion machine deliberately intended to reduce, if not totally annihilate African Americans from the womb, but to repent of our sins. Sins of the flesh, and neglecting our duties to speak the truth in the face of lies.
For years, the African American pastors were silent and relatively non existent on the issue of abortion. Sadly, I read a comment that a person made. The question was “Where were we?”
In a nut shell, the commenter even said that for 25 years we weren’t heard from and that we were to go back to where we’ve come from.
Here is the link and my comments…
That is a pound of truth to our ounce of inept representation.
However, the tide has changed. We are sorry for not speaking up on the issues facing our communities and congregations. No longer will we be silent. For the most part, we understand and we get it.
One of the things that we need to be aware of is that Secret Sexual Sins in the lives of pastors in the pulpit is one of the major reasons why we were absent. Just go to my previous blogs and also BlogTalkRadio.com for my prior broadcasts about my life and involvement, and you will see a small piece of a major sin running rampant in the hidden lives of pastors.
This will give you critical insight for why we were absent.
Additionally, there are rogue pastors that turned coat to vote in a person that is dead set against the Word of God. When a “so called” pastor tells people that they know that homosexuality is a sin but in the same sentence, vote as a sign of endorsement, for a president that advocates the cruel and heartless slaughter of innocent children, and the support for same sex marriage, they are no more a pastor than a truck mechanic claiming to be a heart surgeon.
CURE Founder and President, Star Parker, on short notice, was able to put together this press conference with distinguished pastors, and preachers of great ministerial stature and unquestioned educational qualifications from around the country. Some have travelled hours to unapologetically share their powerful testimonies, admonitions, personal repentance, warranted rebukes, and critical insight into the Gosnell situation and abortion as a whole.
Some have even provided some startling statistics and irrefutable evidence of a conspiracy to plant Planned Abortionhood facility in Black and Hispanic communities. Some of this is documented in the Documentary “Maafa21.
Margaret Sanger is responsible for these facilities that account for over 55 million abortions. 17 million of which were African Americans that make up 12.6% of the American population.
There is no question about this conspiracy and the time has come to address this issue and stop the abortion murder mill. The Gosnell trial has put the definition of murder on trial. When you see the horrific conditions and the cold, calculated, callousness of this African American abortionist, Kermit Gosnell, as one pastor and others have put it, this is not the exception. It is the rule.
It is clear that throughout the country, there are abortionists that have done this and perhaps, if it is ever investigated, worse crimes on humanity. This systemic murder of innocent lives rivals what Germany has done to the Jews. In fact, if you compare 6 million to 17 million. or 6 million to 55 million, with tears, America has done a better job at killing a specific ethnic group than Germany did in killing innocent Jews under Hitler.
I cannot recall who said it but “Abortion is not the exception but the rule.”
The righteous demands for legislative hearings and even for the president to say something was strong and clear. Even more so, prayers were prayed we were told by an evangelist that was sharing at a table that either the president change and repent, or that he be removed.
We know that we may not hear from the Commander in Chief of Homosexuality and Abortion because of the “elite.”
I’ve already call them the “shadow government.”
The last free thinking president was John F. Kennedy. Since then, the politics of this nation is run by those that directly funnel the political powers that be by the purse strings. Should “their” money be adversely affected in any way, we all know that if a president truly becomes an advocate for all people, his days are shortened.
During the Civil Rights Movement, president Kennedy took up the issue. Civil Rights became the one thing that would free African Americans from the tyranny of slavery. As soon as these rights were supported by Kennedy, November 22, 1963 blew a gaping hole into the heart of America. Nonetheless, Civil RIghts was afforded to Blacks, but somewhere down the road, these Civil Rights would be used against us and perverted.
It is reprehensible for the blood of martyrs be trampled upon. The unconscionable disrespect of homosexuals to disguise the sin of homosexuality as a Civil Right stinks to high heaven. I rebuke and condemn this hijacking in Jesus’ name!
The powers of politics is nothing but about money. That’s why, to them it makes sense to annihilate African Americans because it affects the bottom line. By killing off our generation, we have no future and the futures of others flourish.
Abortion is the first line of murder. The lack of education becomes the next line should a baby get past the abortion doctor. Without education, a life of crime and the prison system is the next line of murder. Mixed into all of this is the reduction of real males becoming husbands first, then fathers, second, and raising a family. That’s why the LGBT agenda is also pushed.
African Americans males that indulge in the sin of homosexuality further reduces the availability of males for available black women.
As you can see, the African American is deliberately targeted to fail. Deliberately targeted to be slaughtered. The Civil Rights Movement of the 1950’s and 1960’s was a bold stroke to shake and destroy the foundation of this nation regarding racism.
Now, we are seeing these rights reversed against the African American males. On top of all of this is the refusal to repent.
With all of these things happening to the African American community, the pastors have set out on an agenda to never address these critical issues. With great reason. When you are involved with Secret Sexual Sins yourself, it is very easy to pass on this issue. We just hear addresses that will never have any teeth.
I look at my lack of involvement and observed that I am part of the problem and not the solution.
Therefore, there must be a departure of the safety of my four walls and look for ways to get involved in my own backyard to address the issue. I can’t just go to banquets when people in our own neighborhoods never had one. It is imperative that I confront the issues where the issues are.
The Lord Jesus went from city to city to deal with the problems of man. He did it with the Word of God with power. In one portion of Scripture, He was moved with compassion because the people were like sheep without a shepherd.
Such is the case today in all of our cities. People are wandering without a shepherd.
At the press conference, we’ve heard from Dr. Harry R. Jackson, Dr. Olden Thornton, a letter was read from Dr. Tony Evans, Dr. Alveda C. King, Priests for Life African American Outreach, and many distinguished pastors and preachers that shared the Word and vital information with passion, conviction, power, and holy eloquence.
But there was one pastor that put his own family on the table and shared how his own daughter, who knew The Lord, committed fornication and contemplated having an abortion to conceal the sin from her own father and mother.
Fortunately, the child was spared death, and the daughter was spared the emotional trauma that accompanies them until they get healed.
While the sin of fornication and adultery is always at the root of 98% of abortions, there is forgiveness after repentance and healing grace to help in time of need.
We are living in a critical hour where if we fail to address this issue from our sacred pulpits and start pulling our pulpits outside and into the homes of people, we will continue to see this atrocity darken our community to the brink of extinction.
We must get off the broad road called broadway that leads to destruction. We must stop the madness and insanity of following the status quo crowd to hell.
Haman must not have his evil way.
An Esther has risen among us of Star Parker.
We must remember that when the nation of Israel was about to be annihilated, Esther was raised for such a time as this.
The Gosnell trial happened on the 40 anniversary of Planned Abortionhood. Pathetically, a video presentation of a Black man with a drink in his hand that toasted Planned Abortionhood like it was a lady, and it reminded me of the whore of Babylon, that people were drunk with the wine of her fornication.
This sad display, mocking African Americans is a despicable toast to the killing of 17 million African Americans.
This insidious plot to exterminate an entire race of people to preserve the monetary livelihood of an elite group or class of people has now been brought front and center on the world.
Sadly, the media deliberately ignored the trial because the elite knows that should this get the attention that it should get, the American people would be outraged and will make a demand for further investigations.
Planned Abortionhood has had its way for years to reduce the population of the poor. Even their own white poor. We must not forget that even the elite looks down on their own with great disdain. This is not a ploy to say things that would turn into an ugly race fight.
This happens in all races. There is the elite in every race and within their races are what they term as undesirables. Black on black crime. White on white crime. Asian on Asian crime. It is all around the world. So even abortion targets the whites but the whites have an advantage. Money and education. Whereas with the African American, money and education is becoming more and more out of reach.
This overt conspiracy must come to an end.
I cannot speak for the thousands of African American pastors, but I speak for myself.
As a watchman on the wall, let I not be found sleeping, eyes wide shut. Let not the tongue of my mouth cleave to the roof of my mouth. May I not be found asleep on watch. May my voice be heard and not be careful in speaking vehemently against this scourge that plagues my people.
May God give us all strength to speak boldly as we ought to speak and to cry aloud and not spare. Unreservedly, unhesitatingly, unfettered, and without hypocrisy.
Lastly, how can proponents of Planned Abortionhood condemn one of their own? As the saying goes. “Isn’t that calling the kettle pot black.”
The audacious nerve of murderers.
The blatant hypocrisy and outright lie leaves us flabbergasted beyond reason.
In the wake of this, we expect three things from the president.
1. His silence.
2, His expressed disappointment of the Gosnell verdict.
3. His late term presidential pardon.

Just a note before I begin.
The past few weeks, since I suspended writing for a season, it was extremely trying for me. Faced with potential illness in me and my family, financial pressures, and other issues, were surrounding me and that left me with the best option. Seeking the face of God.
In the middle of all this, the devil tempted me on FB with scantily clad women in the ad section and right there, I knew that the enemy was trying to set the trap to tempt me to engage in Secret Sexual Sins. Porn and masturbation.
But as David said, “Yes, in the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For You are with me…”
We all know that the shadow of death means that something or someone is about to kill you. In order for a shadow to be cast, there must be light and the light shines on the person to cast that shadow. When David said, “For you are with me…” God clothed Himself in light (Psalm 104:2). It was His light that shined on the person trying to cause death.
No, it wasn’t a physical death threat in the natural made upon my life but when you are told to put on the armor of light, it’s not a beauty contest you are going to.
Each day is a fight to the death. Something has to die and someone has to live. Colossians 3:5 tells us to “mortify the deeds of the flesh.”
A really crucified life spares nothing.
The challenges that we face in this life can kill a person. It can kill a relationship in the Lord and it can destroy family cohesion. It is good sometimes to back away and assess what is going on and operate in the prudence and wisdom of the Holy Spirit.
Since the last time I left off, up to this point, the devil had nothing in me. I like that when Jesus said it in John 14:30. When you pursue the Lord, Paul wants us to “…..learn Christ.”
Paul also said that “I may be made conformable to His death.”
Paul also said that “he never apprehended Christ.” That is, Paul never fully grasped Christ. Paul was still searching after Him, to know Him in power of His resurrection being made conformable to His death.” Moses, when He was before the Lord, even though he’s seen the glory of the Lord before, wanted to see the glory of the Lord again.
This is how our pursuit of God must always be. No matter how many times we have prayer at prayer meeting, and no matter how many times we see the Word of God, a freshness comes from the presence of the Lord as Peter said, “…that times of refreshing may come forth from the presence of the Lord.”
To keep the enemy out of you, you must keep the Lord before you, in you, through you, never to let God leave out of you.
God was teaching me that I do not have to yield to the sins of the flesh when trying times are before us. Just because there is stuff going on, it doesn’t mean that I engage in sexual sins to pass the time. Too many of us forfeit the hand of God working on our behalf in things that we need God to move on. God never moves in spite of our sins.
Especially when we know better. So when there is a trying situation, it is the time to pause and really assess your relationship with the Lord. Never let circumstances dictate to you what you shouldn’t be doing. Always let the Word dictate to you how to behave before the presence of the Lord in trying times. I’m told by Pastor Roger Jamison that the devil will wait you out to see if you will change your mind. To see if your “NO” is still a very emphatic, ear piercing, holy “NO!”
The moral will of God must be so strong in you that before you say “no,” the devil flees, because the devil comes to steal the Word like a bird taking seeds (see Luke 8:11-15) The devil can’t stand the praise of God that’s behind your “NO!” When you say “no,” all he sees is the greater One on the inside of you during the 40 days that Jesus was tempted in the wilderness. Can you say, without a shadow of doubt….“It is written?
Victory over sin is not cheap and neither is the fight to stay free of sin. A price is aways to be paid.
So, in this 8th installment, (I hope I got it right that it’s number 8, right? lol),
Pastors fall into Secret Sexual Sins because they refuse to let the Word of God dictate how to live in situations. It took me a long while to learn how to never let the circumstances drive me to look for relief. Releasing sexual tension in sexual immorality as a means of making me feel better about things is the wrong way to go.
The Bible says, “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.”
So instead of delighting in the flesh, I delight myself in the presence of God.
Many of us go through seasons of having desires and things do not pan out as planned. We get into situations that seem like it is impossible for God to do anything about it.
These are moments not to look to sin against God but to live in righteousness against the devil.
Lurking in the shadows behind the circumstances is the temptation to sin against God. You must resist him, as Peter said, stedfast in the faith. This is no time to be fooling around in the mud pen of sin.
We get into a waiting game and we want to get this waiting thing over with. Lo and behold, a hot beauty comes walking into our peripheral vision. The devil sometimes tempts us in the small things to get a reaction. How long you look at a man or woman and the intent of looking, determines why you are looking in the first place.
Temptation comes about because of the desires we have that must be subdued by prayer and fasting. Unbridled lust in the heart and mind is your personal play pen that must be dismantled (see 2 Corinthians 10:3-5). When we are struggling to keep ourselves, it’s because we have allowed the struggle to brew and stew. To get past the struggle is never easy. In fact, as long as we are in the tabernacle, we will continue to struggle. However, the intensity of the struggle has a thermostat attached to it. And the Lord has His hand on the situation to never allow temptation to go past a certain level.
1 Corinthians 10:13 tells us….“No temptation has taken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make a way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”
When the Word doesn’t dwell in us richly in all wisdom (see Colossians 3:16a) for ourselves, that’s when the god of this world turn up the intensity of the issue or issues. That’s when we have to make a deliberate decision not to turn on something to watch that will open the door to sexual immorality. We have to make a deliberate decision not to touch ourselves sexually. We have to make a deliberate decision never to let situations get the best of us.
That’s what I’ve learned this time around. It was a great lesson. Major lesson. Now like Paul said, we must never get giddy about passing this test because if you are a veteran, you know that something else is coming. No rest. No breaks. You stay sharp by staying in prayer and the Word. And when prompted by the Holy Spirit, or should you do it on your own, be prepared to fast.
Flesh and the devil don’t like it but you have to do what you gotta do to make it through every temptation.
Never, under any circumstance, let the situation dictate to you what you should be doing. The Word governs and dictates the outcome.
When God looks at you, the outcome should never be in doubt.
Thanks to all of you who are still reading my previous blogs, words cannot express the gratitude.
And yes……..it is good to be back writing again, praise God.
There is no question that when you look at the church spectrum the ratio of men to women in church is almost 20 to 1 or maybe 10 to 1 depending upon the size of the local church.
Additionally, looking at the world of marriage, very few that do attend will come in, already married. Some of them are single parents.
My intent is not to amplify the sins of single women. My intent is to get at the root of certain issues. I looked on twitter account of a person. Everyone’s twitter account can be seen to a degree. I wasn’t looking for personal information. Nothing on the criminal element but I couldn’t help but look at all the young ladies that were twitting his account.
He would announce that he would be in such and such a city, and these young ladies would show up. It’s the same with a well known preacher, Jamal Bryant. There are some dapper looking young preachers and they fill the house up quickly. Just look at the line up and advertisements, and you will see that the content of what the service is about is not necessarily a powerful, Holy Ghost meeting.
There was a pastor that opened up a church. He was single and a lot of women showed up at his church. He did a wise thing. He found a wife OUTSIDE the church.
The Sunday he introduced his then fiance`, some of the women left his church.
Some of these women have dreams about these preachers that they would marry them. Their minds are heavily saturated with these men that the obsession triggers a dream. Perhaps, the mental infatuation is so intense that the difference between a dream and day dreaming is indistinguishable.
Ladies, we all know that you come to church, however, the reason for coming to church must be the right reason. You’re supposed to come to church to see Jesus and preacher man is to come to church to preach Jesus.
I am not sure if this next story is as true as I heard it and if I am wrong, I’ll correct it.
Dr. Betty Price, the wife of Dr. Fred Price had cancer. Evidently, she was healed by the grace and power of God, but the backdrop behind this story is the fact that there were allegedly women in the waiting, looking to become the next Mrs. Fred Price upon her passing. When Dr. Betty Price got healed, the ladies that wanted to be the next Mrs. Fred Price left Crenshaw Christian Center. During one broadcast, Dr. Fred Price said one time, words to the effect that… Y’all not graced to be my wife. It is not certain that he said this before, during, or after Dr. Betty Price’s cancer issue, but it’s true.
Some women actually think that they can handle certain men. When there is no grace of God, forget it.
If you’ve ever heard Dr. Price preach, he can be rough around the edges and mean it.
The fact that there were women looking to position themselves to assume a position, and that, with a very rough man of God is folly of the highest order.
How cold is this?
The frigid temperatures on the North and South poles, including the vast cold regions in outer space, and the planets in the entire universe can’t be colder than these women that hoped Mrs. Betty Price would not live.
The heat of hades and the lake with fire and brimstone can’t melt a cold heart.
Proverbs 18:22 says….
“He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord.”
One single preacher put it out like this.
“If I am not looking your way, you are not the one.”
When brothers are not ready, they will not ask for a woman’s hand in marriage.
Believe me, brothers are slow. Some brothers are still playing the field (fooling around with another set of women). Others are fearful of making a commitment to the wrong one. This isn’t right, nor is it fair. The male has to start adjusting because when there is whoredom in the house of God, it’s because some brothers make it difficult for women.
On the other hand, some brothers can’t handle the responsibility. Bills, money being tight. The inability to compromise to make the relationship work out mutually. And the biggest issue of them all.
THEY ARE NOT SERIOUS ABOUT GOD!
These, factors, as well as his unbridled thirst for sex, porn, and masturbation, makes a male hold off.
My intent is not to dash your hopes or the hope of other women looking to be married, but when the Bible is clear about who is to do the looking, it is important to maintain your discipline. The devil is very crafty and the devil will use a crafty preacher to deceive a desperate woman. There are many women caught in the place of sidestepping the Word of God.
There is no excuse for abdicating the righteousness of God within you. You must prize who you are and you must prize above all else, your relationship with God.
In the Brian Carn situation (alleged lol), I can’t help but understand the fact that preachers that lead single and married, dissatisfied women to assume that there is going to be something more than a one time engagement in the bedroom, that a marriage will take place. For men and women to wrongfully assume that the word of a preacher is above the Word of God is a terrible sin. For which Hebrews 13:4 says that “adulterers and fornicators God WILL judge.”
Not every woman is a temple prostitute.
However, if the mand of Gawd shows up there, you have sex with him every time he is there, then there is no question that whoredom is your intent.
On the other side, there are a lot of women that will make or, they are already prepared to be a good wife. Women want to be loved, married, have a family, and enjoy life with her husband.
Pretty boy preachers that are players never make good husbands because once you give him some tail, you have to expect that he is seeing others in the bedroom around the country.
When they ask for your cell number, do you, as a single or married, saved, sanctified, Holy Spirit filled, tongue talking, Bible carrying womand of Gawd yield, or do you, in tears and pain, maintain your discipline?
Can the Lord count on you to decline and keep it moving in the Lord? Can the Lord count on you to be holy when it’s very tempting to be lulled into the bedroom? Can the Lord count on you to keep your mind stayed on Him? Can the Lord count on you not to go up to his hotel room before service, so that after service, you can have him sexually? Can the Lord count on you to call it sin!
It is placed in every woman the desire to be happy and loved by a good man. Sadly, some men are not that good at all. But there is someone out there that knows how to treat a woman right and stay faithful. Men, generally, are sex ready but they are not relationship, commitment, and responsibility ready.
I’ll never forget it. When Zion Baptist Church underwent a change in pastorates, having assumed the pulpit of the late Reverend Dr. Benjamin James Lowry, Dr. M. Marquette Peace, Jr., on day one, set the record straight.
“I am a married man. I am not looking for another woman. I am the husband of ONE wife and I am satisfied.”
That’s integrity, ladies and gentlemen. Integrity of the highest order.
Dr. Peace clearly understood the sexual pitfalls of ministry and he fearlessly put the Word out to everyone on day one from the pulpit.
Adultery against God is higher violation than adultery with a woman. To be unfaithful to God guarantees that you will be unfaithful to your wife. I wish all the men of God, when they assume the powerful responsibility to be a leader with integrity, that they make such an announcement, and stick with it, would go a long way to preserving the integrity and sanctity of the call of God on a man’s life.
Equally as sad, some women are wedding ready but they are not marriage ready.
Marriage ready in the sense that women want to completely have their way and a man does too.
The first few years of a marriage will be like sharks mating. While watching National Geography, when sharks mate, they bite with their teeth to hold the female shark in place while mating. Such is the case with the relational aspect of the marriage which potentially ends up as an irreconcilable difference.
The passion for sex is there but it is potentially lost when a man or woman in marriage spend more time jostling for dominance. That’s why egos have to be checked and both persons look to make the marriage work. A man is not a peacekeeper and neither is a woman. Peacekeepers are armed to keep both sides from fighting. A peacemaker is one that is willing to give in to a position to keep harmony in the house. However, the giving up of the position must never be detrimental to the entire relationship.
The only time a relationship becomes irreconcilable is when a childish person chooses not to reconcile. Baring adultery, there is no reason two persons cannot reconcile (see Ephesians 5:22-33).
Single ladies, I know that you are praying. God heard your prayers. When will He answer? We do not know when the manifestation of the answer will occur. When will brothers get it together? We don’t know.
But one thing is known.
Pretty boy preachers that look good and deceive you, start to run and flee from them. They are more trouble than it’s worth. It is not worth giving up the prize for the shame and stigma that comes with adultery and fornication.
The Bible says, “They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles, the will run and not be weary, they will walk and not faint.”
Many of you have heard of the sex scandal of Sam Hinn, the brother of Benny Hinn.
For over a lengthy time, while preaching in the pulpit, Sam Hinn carried on in his ministry and life like nothing was going on.
The hypocrisy of preachers is one of the best deceptions the enemy uses to suppress the presence of God in the people of God.
I know what this is about, this hypocrisy thing, so I am not throwing stones.
Just go to http://www.blogtalkradio.com/prevailingword1for my testimony if you think otherwise.
Many men and women in Christ and in the pulpit commit Secret Sexual Sins on a regular basis. It is a clear indication that we haven’t learned anything from the previous lessons of fallen leaders. We do not have to fall in sin. We choose to do so and explain it away as a mistake.
It’s not a mistake.
It is a calculated, deliberate act to defy the Lord.
A mistake is a “wrong action attributable to bad judgment, ignorance, or inattention.”
Jesus and James, the Lord’s brother, defines sin as a deliberate act.
Matthew 15:19 and James 1:14-15 says….
“For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.”
“But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full- grown, brings forth death.”
In Systematic Theology, sin is the deliberate, intentional commission of an act of defiance against the Lord in three areas.
So when you call sin a mistake, it’s like we are telling the Lord, “O Lord, my bad. I miscalculated.”
The power of the devil is only as effective as we allow it to be effective. The power of the devil can have a zero effect on our lives when we cut off the avenues by which he operates. However, it starts with what’s in our hearts.
The originating point of all sin is in the mind. Once the mind is told something, the eyes see something, and the mind meditates on something, the course to fulfill the desires of the flesh initiates the urges and impulses to commit a deliberate, intentional act of defiance against God begins to run its ungodly, merciless course.
Notice what Paul said in Romans 13:14.
“But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.”
Now go back to James 1:14-15 and you will see that as long as you do not give in to the “desires,” the devil’s enticements cannot overpower you (see 1 Corinthians 10:13).
Therefore, you instinctively make no provision for the flesh.
Flesh has a vision and it will provide to fulfill that vision.
So here are the 10 Deadly Sins. We will not get through them all in this setting but we will address each one in subsequent articles.
1. No Real Relationship With The Lord.
Jesus said in Matthew 15:7…
“Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.”
In the service of ministering the Word of God, it is very easy to assume that your relationship with the Lord is ok. However, little things begin to creep in or perhaps, they are already in your life, but you never really took time to address these issues.
You started watching the news and this woman or man sexually appealed to you. You thought nothing of it, but every morning, like clock work, you just had to see him or her. These little things turn into big issues. You start seeing R Rated movies with a little soft porn in it.
One thing always leads to another. Next thing, the very thing you thought you’d never watch is on your TV screen or lap top computer.
Some pastors are daring. After their sermon preparation at home or in the church study, they click the links to free porn. This may not be true of Sam Hinn, however, we know that when a pastor is willing to commit Secret Sexual Sins, it’s a process that may involve porn and self gratification.
This is not true with everybody because to put a one size fits all on every preacher is unfair.
However, to carry on a Secret affair, is just another form of acting out sexually that was premeditated.
Remember, sin is a deliberate, intentional act to defy God.
When our lips truly match our hearts, it is a revelation of the kind of worship the Lord is getting.
Hypocritical worship or genuine worship.
Our worship of the Lord is one or the other because of our love for Him, or lack thereof.
Your relationship with the Lord is not just found in your time of daily devotion. In my own life, while I was in Secret Sexual Sins, I prayed and studied the Word of God. However, I still had sin in my life. The lusts of the flesh and mind, and eyes. Of course, I “repented,” but my repentance wasn’t real. It would be remorse, and there is a big difference.
Remorse is a “feeling of deep regret (usually for some misdeed).”
This regret is a sad feeling associated with having done something wrong.
This is what I was experiencing. No one really told me the difference. So right after I get over the sad feeling, the regret, the mind returns to the place where the pleasure of sin exists. Remorse takes you right back to the place where you think about pleasures of sin.
Like a dog licks its vomit up, so does a man return to his folly (see Proverbs 26:11 and 2 Peter 2:22).
We haven’t really understood that sin is folly. In Proverbs, “folly” means “foolishness.”
So the next thing that happens is that you suppress the Word of God within you. You suppress the promise that you would never sin that sin again. You begin to make provision. You sin that sin that you promised the Lord, your Lord, that you claim deliverance from.
The cycle continues again.
When all of us sinned sexual sins, we’ve experienced this revolving door experience many times and it gets to the point where we cross over from hope to hopelessness. That’s the least of your concerns. As far as Secret Sexual Sins is concerned, the deliberate, intentional commission of an act to defy the Lord takes on a life of itself.
This sin is what you live for.
You begin to schedule your every move around the sin you love.
Allegedly, Sam Hinn’s car was found outside the apartment of this married woman who was a congregant in his church. This is one of the ways exposure comes. The Lord loves us so much, that He gives us time to repent but when we do not know the difference, the cycle of madness continues.
This adulterous affair took time to develop and he made his relationship with God, his family, and ministry fit his time for his sin. The things that were important became secondary, if anything. God, his family, and his ministry were relegated to the back seat. Misplaced priorities always begin with a man or woman’s heart attitude towards the Lord.
That’s why it was easy to miscommunicate the commandment of the Lord. According to the accounts, the female that was involved in the affair was told by Sam Hinn that the Lord permitted this relationship. However, anyone with common sense will tell you that if you are a married or single woman, getting involved with a married pastor is a bad move with no justification.
The tradition of men, when it usurps the commandment of the Lord, it takes on a nature of its own making. If Sam Hinn was in a genuine relationship with the Lord, and if the adulterous married woman was in a real relationship with the Lord, it is safe to say that we would not be talking about this.
A real relationship begins and ends with Psalm 91:1-2.
“He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress. My God in Him will I trust.”
In a real relationship with the Lord, Secret Sexual Sins is off limits in the Secret Place of the Lord.
In a real relationship with the Lord, you begin to see that this is hurting the Lord.
Paul said…“And grieve (sadden) not the Holy Spirit.”
Real repentance understands fully that a deliberate, intentional act to defy God hurts the Lord on the level that Adam and Eve hurt God.
In a real relationship with the Lord, you understand fully that you do not want to hurt God like that.
All acts of betrayal begins with disconnection from the Lord. Not just in prayer, fasting, and the Word, but the Lord is personally betrayed when we walk away from Him to commit the very thing that would eventually hurt us.
We hurt the Lord when we get into the car and a good looking woman walks in peripheral vision range, and we just had to take a look at her sexually.
We hurt the Lord when we watch salacious movies. You know, those trailers warn you of the content, yet, you insisted that you could handle watching that movie but you really didn’t get it. The Lord is looking at that movie with you. His eyes is watching that movie through your eyes.
We hurt the Lord when our minds are not fully stayed on Him and we engage in deliberate sexual thoughts other than healthy ones as far as our wives or husbands are concerned.
These are the things, the little foxes that spoil the relationship with the Lord.
Why not take the time to really repent of the sins of allowing the little foxes in when they should have been chased. Take the time to understand the magnitude of how the Lord was hurt by your deliberate and intentional act of defiance. Take the time to fully feel the heart of the Lord. But also know that the Lord pities you. He loves you and wants you back. He knows that if you do not turn from your wicked ways, the devil will take you to other levels of sin.
In sin, it only gets worse but when you have learned to stop, you will see the Lord return to you to help you get yourself together.
Ultimately, the devil will pull you into the spirit and age of apostasy if your prodigal heart fails to catch itself.
We’ve prostituted ourselves long enough.
So repent, for real. And come back to right standing and right relationship with the Lord.
Isaiah 55:6-7 says,
“Seek the Lord while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.”
Recently, I was ambushed by the ad section of FB (Facebook).
Everyone knows about the “Ad” section on FB. It’s the advertisement slide show. New friends to connect with as well as other interesting ads that connect with your taste constantly flashes before your eyes. These items are connected to your profile and preferences. With certain FB potential friends, sometimes they wear stuff (low cleavage items) to catch your attention. Some women that profess to know Jesus do it all the time.
While there are nasty male preachers and believers, there are nasty women that profess to know Jesus too.
Yes, ladies, it is a problem.
Femininity is a power that females use to attract men, whether men or women are married or not.
Females that profess to know the Lord should know better than to flaunt themselves but they do it anyway.
When these women are successful, and because of a lack of discipline, males and females engage in fornication and adultery. The male is called a fool and the female is called sexually immoral, whores, harlots, and seductresses.
It is just as bad with males.
Straight, as well as homosexuals advertise themselves too. For those that struggle with SSA (same sex attraction) issues, FB constantly reminds those that were delivered from the sin of homosexuality of the “fun.”
For those that were recently delivered from Secret Sexual Sins, the sins are still “fresh in their flesh.”
Many items pass through and every now and then, you will see things that should be flagged.
Paul said this, “For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.”
Love of money is what drives all kinds of evil.
When the Word of righteousness is brought to bear on unrighteousness, money will be used to stop someone from getting delivered by the power of God. That’s because when a person gets delivered, they will not spend any more money to watch porn, go to the bars, straight or gay, they will not buy condoms, no longer will they to go to the doctor to get treated for STDs, and abortion would not be an issue.
God broke the addiction which breaks the money chain, and that’s why they do incredible warfare to get you to return. This is the reason they hook little children early. In the food chain, they have to keep a supply of people willing to go to great lengths to have something fulfilled. The addictions, the desires, the false sense of satisfaction. All of these things are equated to keeping a person in the dark to commit dark acts of depraved indifference to themselves and to others to satisfy themselves.
In most cases, people are willing to spend money on satisfaction, knowing that they need to pay for rent, lights, gas, and other necessities of life. Hence, the reason behind the economic judgment on the church and the United States.
Pleasure comes before responsibility.
While fallen man knows the limits, as long as a man is willing to chase after certain things, the money chain will not be broken. It’s the theory of the predator in operation. You gotta stay addicted because I gotta live.
The moment you get delivered from the addiction, they will look for others to remain addicted, or they suffer.
Folks, I have chosen to let the world suffer.
I gotta stay saved and they can be saved too.
That’s why there is such a fight against righteousness.
Everything is connected. Drugs, alcohol, medicine, hospitals, clothing, cars, hotels and motels, make up, and food.
When you put up the Word of God, (not destructive criticism, there is a difference), someone will get offended because somewhere in the chain, the money is about to get cut off.
If you study the book of Acts, particularly the 19th chapter, the gospel came to the city of Ephesus. The city of Ephesus was a commerce area with a population of over 300,000. The coppersmiths were in business making statues of Diana and they were raking in the ducats.
Diana is a multi breasted idol distantly connected to the Asherah or Baal forms of worship. Infertility is connected to sexual immorality.
The coppersmiths were making money off of these perverted statues and the people brought their sorcery books and other forms of the occult to be burned. The revival was so powerful verse 20 revealed the outcome of a direct move of God.
“So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.”
At the end of the revival that Paul, Aquilla and Priscilla founded, and Timothy, later sent by Paul to be the First Bishop of Ephesus, the membership or people that regularly attended that church numbered over 100,000. John, the apostle of the Lamb and Mary, the mother of Jesus, were among members there.
According to tradition, the bones of Mary and John were discovered in the region. Also remember that John was exiled on the isle of Patmos and when he had a vision on the Lord’s day, he was given instructions by the Head of the church to give a letter to the messenger or pastor of the church at Ephesus.
Here’s what I wanted to get to.
The revenue was jeopardized as a result of the gospel being preached. Sales declined on occult books. Sales declined on spells to cast upon people to curse them or cause them to fall under a perverted spell. Sales declined on the purchase of Diana of the Ephesians. They all went to the theater. Paul, who wanted to enter the middle of the riot to preach, was kept from sealing the deal. I do not think Paul would have been harmed but then again, you never know. For two hours, the people shouted.
The gospel threatened their economy.
The effective preaching of the gospel caused a riot.
Ineffective preaching will not cause a riot.
No one will bother you but when you strike a cord, you will see them come at you because you are a threat to their economy.
On a different note, when truth comes, people act like little babies and cry to momma FB to block, remove, or close the accounts. Granted, I’ve said some things that definitely raised a few eyebrows, but not worthy of a block, removal, or closing of an account. There are other tactics that is utilized. Such as temporarily cutting off your account, freeze certain pages, eliminate the share button on certain items detrimental to cash-flow, and image dressing.
However, there are some ads that will not get blocked that come very close to violating obscenity laws. And the use of vulgar language is constantly seen on the social networks, but nothing is done to address it. However, put the Word of God up and God’s Word to the sinner is obscene and vulgar.
The ambush that took place was probably generated because of the articles that I post regarding Secret Sexual Sins and other related items.
When it comes to applying the Word of God in the world, you will draw much criticism from those that are not in the Body of Christ masquerading as bona fide believers and especially those that profess to be believers in the Body of Christ, but live in sin.
Sadly, those that profess to be believers and live below the level of Matthew 7:21-23 are the wayside people that Jesus spoke of in Luke 8:12 that let the devil steal the Word from their hearts, unless they believe.
Anyway, the ambush was salacious ads. One by one, of women. Naked, cleavage/scantily clad, and hand covering certain obvious parts.
Some of you that were delivered from the sin of homosexuality may have seen ads that are connected to the gay lifestyle like, gay cruises, bars, parades, and things of this nature.
Some people, including misguided, gullible children of God will not think nothing of it and tell you to just ignore it. Some will tell you that you are misguided, gullible, and into this stuff too much.
These are the same believers that really do not understand the wiles of the devil.
As a side note, this is true spiritual warfare when images are thrown at you and you have to exercise discipline not to yield to these temptations.
You intercessory prayer folks that border on space cadets think that you understand spiritual warfare and cry out to the principalities and powers, and command them to come down, in Jesus’ name. There is no Scriptural evidence of the Lord Jesus ever carrying out that level of warfare you claim to talk about. The devils He cast out were in people. Within the safe confines of the four walls, many claim to chase demons out of cities. Yet, the demons remain at large in the people on the street corner.
We think that prayer changes things. Wrong! It’s the God that answers prayer in accordance with His will that changes things. it’s time to dispel the myth of non Biblically unsubstantiated empowerment.
Anyway, true spiritual warfare is when you have been inundated with things that pull on your flesh. You resist by renewing the mind with the Word of God. You resist by prayer. You resist by praise. You resist by turning off the Internet, shutting down FB, and cut off the avenues of demonic attack.
You must remember, if you keep yourself, it is not by walking through the fire. It is by keeping away from the fire.
Jesus prayed, “…and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.”
Paul said, “Avoid the very appearance of evil.” And “Flee fornication.”
You go to the movie theaters and the trailers are full of salacious ads. Some of you have already made up your minds to go see that movie, not realizing that the devil is preaching to you. The devil is ministering to you the word of death. The devil is ministering to you the very things that pull on your flesh and mind.
Brothers are seduced and they file every feminine body part to fantasize and masturbate off of later.
So it is with these ads that come at me. I am firmly aware of the intent and I identify it as a clear and present danger to the sanctification and holiness of God established in me by the grace of God.
You must recognize quickly that the enemy will not let you off the hook when you claim to be delivered. You must be able to run like Joseph. No man can stand where he once was conquered. We must utilize every means of escape according to 1 Corinthians 10:13.
I am not going to leave nothing to chance. When you do, that is a position of pride that the enemy was waiting on. When you think that you can handle it, this is where you are the most vulnerable. Flee and avoid is the position of strength. Stay and camp is the position of weakness. Grace works when we flee and avoid. Foolishness works when we stay and camp.
Therefore, the ads targeted against the righteous is not just harassment. It is a vulgar form of perversion to stop righteousness from destroying their bottom line at your expense. It is also a double whammy. It is also designed to pull on your flesh to get you back in the dark world of Secret Sexual Sins. Take a good look at certain news on the Internet, and you you will see the same thing.
Somewhere on that page, there will be a woman or a man to sexually attract your attention.
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God to the pulling down of strongholds. Casting down imaginations (reasonings) and every high thing (salacious pictures) that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”
Facebook makes a living on ads, but you have to be careful, child of God.
