Dr. Ben Carson – The Price Of Capitulation Goes Further Than Politics

Carson_Ben_PROMOPICWhen you run for the presidency, you will not be able to get the support of all the people. But when you are looking for any vote you can get, the price must be paid.

When you compromise on the sin of homosexuality, you are going to reveal one of two things.

1. What you really believe, or 2. what someone wants you to say so that you can get support.

This includes denying the faith.

Dr. Ben Carson capitulated.

He first stated, based on Biblical conviction that “homosexuality is a choice.”

Then Dr. Carson said that he “apologize” for his statement.

We cannot “apologize” for people making choices.

There is no question that this is a clear capitulation.

Many in the LGBT community will accept this as a capitulation but will still sound their alarm to be leery about a potential presidential candidate that is staunchly against homosexuality, and then apologizes.

Proponents of homosexuality will ask Dr. Carson, “Which one are you?”

Do you support homosexuality or are you against homosexuality?

A clear flip flop.

For the record.

Sin is a choice based on a person’s personal preference.

James 1:14-15 says “But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full- grown, brings forth death.”

A person is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires.

When a person desires homosexuality, or adultery, or fornication, or bisexuality, he or she desires it. Then they make a choice to go after it. Nobody forces them. They make a conscious, deliberate decision to go after that sin.

Be not deceived.

The nature of the devil abides within every one born into this world. It is only when we authentically repent of sin, declare with our mouths that Jesus is Lord, and believe in hearts that God raise Jesus from the dead that we are saved. The Holy Spirit comes inside of us and washes us with the regeneration and renewing. It’s called being born again.

When you are a believer in Jesus, you are declaring the absolute Lordship of Jesus over your life. The Word of God rules our lives and no man is more powerful than the Lord that can take that from you.

For Dr. Carson to boldly proclaim before the president of the United States during a Prayer Breakfast over two years ago about how polarized Americans are with being political correct, we see that Dr. Carson succumbed to the same disease that many Americans and president Obama is inflicted with.

Politcal correctness.

This is the disease of the world.

It is better to be politically correct than to be Biblically correct.

Matthew 9:32-33 says “ Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.”

Many will say “What does this Scripture have to do with Dr. Ben Carson’s statement and capitulation?”

When you pull off the table what the Word of God said about the sin of homosexuality, you are denying the Word of God.

John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

The Word is Jesus Personified.

Therefore, the Bible is the inspired Word of God and Jesus is the Person that gave the Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 says “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

So the Bible is the inspired Word of God. The Holy Spirit gives life to the Word of God.

When you refuse to speak the inspired Word of God, or when you give the inspired Word of God, and then recant that Word, you are denying the Word of God. Hence, you have denied Jesus before men.

So, alas, how the mighty have fallen.

This is not the time to run from the truth about the sin of homosexuality, or from any Secret or Overt Sexual Sins.

We must make our stand and do like what Paul said, “Having done all to stand, stand there………”
