Since we are called “homophobes,” I felt compelled to make up a word for LGBT.
Some will say that this is name calling and it is biased, bigoted, discriminant, and shameful.
Well, consider the fact that adulterers, fornicators, bisexuals, porno watchers, and hard core masturbators, or carnal Christians are holinessphobes too.
Sinners that claim to be in a Christ possess an irrational fear of righteousness.
My intent is to stir you to get you to really see the reality of who you are.
If you are offended, just know that the truth in the gospel deliberately offends people.
For what reason?
In hopes that you would see the wickedness of your ways and turn to the Lord in repentance.
Some will say that they would never preach this.
God is not asking you to.
God is commanding His preachers to stand boldly and proclaim the gospel. Everyone has been led to do things differently so let us not be found countermanding a method by God when it leads to provoking sinners to depart from sin and live in the fear of the Lord.
When the believers were called “Christians,” the intent was to apply a title of bias on those that followed Jesus. So true was the walk of the believers of the early church that “Christian” became a derogatory term that indicated that Jesus in the believer, was truly among those that decided to call it quits with sin.
That’s why you can’t call yourself a child of God and commit sin like the devil.
You can’t be both. You are either a child of God or a child of satan. You are known by your fruit (see Matthew 7:15-20).
The term Christians or Christian is recorded in three places.
Acts 11:26, Acts 26:28, and 1 Peter 4:16.
Christianity was a threat to the Roman government and especially to Israel.
Sin is a business but worse than a business, it is bondage to the prince of darkness. To break free of sin ruins the original plan of the god of this world. To take as many people to the lake which burns with fire and brimstone.
For so long, we have been accused of hating homosexuals which is the furthest thing from the truth.
But one thing is clear.
The Lord hates sin and in the Scriptures, God hates the wicked.
Psalm 11:5-7 says “The Lord tests the righteous,
But the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates.
Upon the wicked He will rain coals;
Fire and brimstone and a burning wind
Shall be the portion of their cup.
For the Lord is righteous,
He loves righteousness;
His countenance beholds the upright.”
Psalm 34:21 says, “Evil shall slay the wicked,
And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.”
To remove yourselves from the hatred of God, you are commanded to repent.
Here is the new coined word.
#Holinessphobia: “encompasses a deliberate, vehement intolerance for God, His Holy Word, and believers. An irrational fear of righteousness.”
While there is no real etymological basis for homophobia, it is the same for holinessphobia.
Does it cancel itself?
Anyone that is in fear of the holiness of God has something more to be afraid of.
Paul said in Romans 1:18, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,”
Wrath is reserved for all who hate God and His Word. And then the Psalms reveal that “…those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.”
While God hates the wicked, He loves the sinner.
God is capable of both because He is God.
We move forward to the NT, and we see John 3:16.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”
No doubt, you believe it is a direct contradiction.
But it isn’t.
First, God is true to Himself, not to you.
Second, He has every right to hate those that hate Him (see John 15:18-25).
Third, God demonstrated His love towards you, in that He demonstrated His love for you by sending His Son to die for our sins.
Fourth, God has every right to send us all to hell because He created us with a free will. Adam deliberately defied the will of God and according to Galatians 3:22, God concluded all under sin according to the Scriptures.
The reason why God didn’t just judge Adam and Eve is because if He would have created another Adam and Eve (male and female), God would be back at square one. God is going through this one time, man is going through this one time, and the devil is going to go through this one time, never to be a terror ever again (see Ezekiel 28:19).
Man sinned, not God.
We are the ones that need to conform to His Son’s image. To repent. To ask God for His forgiveness. To be born again. To obey the commands written in the Word of God, willingly.
This is the bottom line.
So we need to fall on God’s mercy and receive the provision of salvation before it’s too late.
So, to avoid being a holinessphobe, just repent and ask the Lord to forgive you of all sin. There is nothing to be afraid about the holiness of God. The first rule of heaven is that God is holy. He is righteous. He is true.
Heaven is holy. Clean. Pure. Sinless.
In heaven, there is none of the woes of life. The pleasures of this world can’t compare to the pleasure of the Lord where there is peace, tranquility, and no death. No violence, no pain, no suffering. No STD’s and HIV/AIDS. No more seeking a cure to survive for a moment in time just to die.
In this life, we all must die, but in Christ, we can live again. Provided we accept the terms of the provision of salvation.
Death is the end of the line. The ride comes to a stop and everyone must depart.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23.
Jesus said these words in John 5:24-30, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.
For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth
—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.”
In hell, there is “weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
There is heat, darkness, and fear.
The fear of never getting out.
All who pass through into hell MUST abandon all hope.
Once you pass away, there is no coming back.
Sad price to pay for being a holinessphobe.
