Ugandan President Signs Anti Homosexual Law

Another major set back of the globalization of the sin of homosexuality.

In stunning fashion, Uganda, a predominantly Christian nation, (around 85% of its population) has had enough of “western” influence to spread the sin of homosexuality in their country. To those of the LGBT community, they would probably call it a “dark day.”

While some laws of man will have something bad about it, I believe that the self determination of Uganda to set the record straight about the sin of homosexuality is powerful. Once again, western influence has attempted to persuade other countries to follow suit, but miserably failed.

Look at it from the stand point that the sin of homosexuality is detrimental to their free society. We must also remember that Uganda is a sovereign state. Seems to me that when the United States wants to influence other sovereign states in the wrong direction, we make them to look like the bad guy when the refuse to

toe the line.

The sin of homosexuality never promoted anything positive. Look all across the board at all sexual sins, and you will see that nothing positive is possible. The misery of sin and death leaves nothing lasting or positive in its wake.

Sin is never positive. Sin is negative, evil, and destructive. What people desire to do is make sin positive and make righteousness negative.

Isaiah 5:20 and 21 says, “What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter. What sorrow for those who are wise in their own eyes and think themselves so clever.”

Sadly, LGBT proponents spew out hatred and venom when they do not get their way. Or when other nations stand their ground against the detrimental affects of the sin of homosexuality, we are called discriminant, bigots, and hateful.

On the other hand, we warn them of the ill effects of the sin of homosexuality in hopes that they would save themselves from the destructive cycle associated with sexual sins. Yet, they turn their ears away from the truth, condemn the truth, and condemn those that speak the truth.

It’s like looking in the face of a firefighter and refuse their hand to pull them out of the flame.

It’s like looking in the eyes of a lifesaver and refuse their hand to pull them out of the water.

Uganda should be respected for standing against the ill advised influence of the United States and other international countries that permit perversion to rule a nation. Uganda has determined that there is nothing glamorous about the sin of homosexuality. They have determined that the sin of homosexuality is a clear and present danger to families, and their society as a whole.

They see the destructive forces of the results of homosexuality in STDs, including HIV/AIDS, and they want nothing of it.

They have decided their own destiny. We know that it will not end there. All sorts of back door politics will take place to persuade them with money to overturn their sovereign course.

I believe that because western influence is bankrupt of money and influence, not much will be done except to label Uganda as unfriendly to the sin of homosexuality. A title that is fit for every nation that understands the detrimental effects of the sin of homosexuality.

Name one homosexual that declares that homosexuality is 100% positive. Especially the ones that have acquired the Gay Man’s Disease also known as HIV/AIDS.

The statement “It Gets Better” is wishful thinking, at best. It alludes to the fact that at the present, it’s not good, but we are hoping that it would get better. The thing about the gospel of Jesus Christ is that it is better when you repent of sin and come to the light. Being a born again believer is better than being a sinner in sin. It is better because we hate the sins that God hates, we love people that are caught in sin to free them, and we love the righteousness that God loves.

In love, we minister the truth to you that it is better with Jesus but worse with sin.

There is nothing positive about sin but there is something positive in righteousness in Jesus.

Threesome Sex – Pornography’s Role In Making Homosexuality Acceptable

Threesome sex
. The more, the merrier, right?

The average Joe or Jane that watches porn and gratifies him or herself in masturbation seldomly think about homosexuality. The only thing that matters is the fantasy with multiple partners in an orgy.

For straight porn watchers, you falsely think that you are not given over to the acceptance of the sin of homosexuality but something else is taking place that you may not be aware of.

Homosexuality is not even considered but little do we know that in the dark world of homosexuality, whether intentionally or not, the seed to make homosexuality acceptable was planted.

According to Internet Filter Review, “42.7% of Internet users view pornography.”

This means that anyone of us that intentionally view pornography stand almost a 43% chance of being exposed to all forms of illegal sexuality, including homosexuality. This statistic includes those that profess to know the Lord. According to Blazinggrace.org70% of Christians struggle with porn.

So this is a clear indication that large portions of professed believers are possibly harboring sympathetic acceptance of homosexuality.

In a prior blog, I shared a statistic from the Christian Post that 11% of single professed believers do not engage in fornication, commonly called premarital sex. This means that 89% of singles that profess their faith in Jesus engaged in fornication.

There is no question in my mind that the vast majority of males that had premarital sex intentionally viewed pornography.

In a precursor to a BlogTalkRadio broadcast for February 20, 2014 at 9PM, hosted by Warrior For Truth Radio, I was asked to be a guest on this radio show that will be about how LGBT uses the media. We trust that you would join us.

Afterwards, I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to investigate pornography’s role in making homosexuality acceptable.

While the mainstream media is attempting to put a nice spin on the sin of homosexuality, underneath, in the dark world of pornography, the real dirty work is pushed. What it comes down to is sex is sex. However, sexual preference and acceptability is the goal. If homosexuality could be portrayed as innocent then acceptability will not be an issue.

If this statistic is what it is, there is no question in my mind that many professed believers are exposed to the way the media is portraying homosexuality as an acceptable way of life. We all know that if a person could eliminate or soften the blow to the vile practices of homosexuality, acceptability would not be that much of a problem.

Acceptability from practicing homosexuals is an automatic give in. It’s about gaining acceptability from people that do not practice homosexuality. But it goes further than that. It is a clear push to get people that profess a strong belief in Jesus to accept homosexuality. It is also a clear push to enforce acceptance through a wide range of legislative means to punish those that refuse to bow down to the music of Nebuchadnezzar.

With mainstream media, if it is “preached” often enough, acceptability is seldom rejected unless a person has strong Biblical convictions, and is not fooled into being sympathetic to that which God condemned in the flesh of Jesus.

It is in our private lives that we find that we are more sympathetic to that which God hates. That’s because if we watch porn but portray ourselves hypocritically as professed believers, we find ourselves to accept it without an issue.

That’s why Secret Sexual Sins is what it is.

As long as what we do out of sight of others, we can be double agents in the Body of Christ, serving two masters.

Jesus said we can’t serve two masters, but we try to. We can’t be holy and unholy at the same time (see 2 Corinthians 6:14-18).

We try to be holy walking into the church building and flip on God after service.

Listen to Isaiah 1:10-16 from the Message Bible.

“Listen to my Message,
you Sodom–schooled leaders.
Receive God’s revelation,
you Gomorrah–schooled people.
“Why this frenzy of sacrifices? “
God’s asking.
“Don’t you think I’ve had my fill of burnt sacrifices,
rams and plump grain–fed calves?
Don’t you think I’ve had my fill
of blood from bulls, lambs, and goats?
When you come before me,
who ever gave you the idea of acting like this,
Running here and there, doing this and that––
all this sheer commotion in the place provided for worship?
“Quit your worship charades.
I can’t stand your trivial religious games:
Monthly conferences, weekly Sabbaths, special meetings––
meetings, meetings, meetings––I can’t stand one more!
Meetings for this, meetings for that. I hate them!
You’ve worn me out!
I’m sick of your religion, religion, religion,
while you go right on sinning.
When you put on your next prayer–performance,
I’ll be looking the other way.
No matter how long or loud or often you pray,
I’ll not be listening.
And do you know why? Because you’ve been tearing
people to pieces, and your hands are bloody.
Go home and wash up.
Clean up your act.
Sweep your lives clean of your evildoings
so I don’t have to look at them any longer.
Say no to wrong.”

In so many of our houses of prayer and worship, the Lord doesn’t even watch. We pretend that His presence is there but if we were really honest, and if we were to take a good look at how we live our lives, we would see that the Holy Spirit didn’t even come inside the building.

For our safety, the Holy Spirit went searching for another house of worship where holiness abides.

And if you happen to be a practicing homosexual, adulterer, fornicator, or bisexual that profess a belief in Jesus, your brand of Christianity doesn’t exist because sin can’t mix with holiness.

So the next time you find yourself watching porn, just know that what you do in secret is behind the conspiracy of pushing acceptance of the sin of homosexuality. It’s mainstream media that preach to us all the time, and it’s what we do in secret that is the real reason.

Spirit Of Harlotry Temple Of Worship

Hosea 5:3-6 says,

“I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from Me; For now, O Ephraim, you commit harlotry; Israel is defiled.

“They do not direct their deeds toward turning to their God, for the spirit of harlotry is in their midst, and they do not know the Lord.

The pride of Israel testifies to his face; therefore Israel and Ephraim stumble in their iniquity; Judah also stumbles with them.

“With their flocks and herds they shall go to seek the Lord, but they will not find Him; He has withdrawn Himself from them.

Thankfully, I haven’t come across a church that has this name stated in the title of this blog, but in some places, it might as well be. The condition of some places in the corporate church is what it is. To be in denial is to look at God, spit in His face, and call it rain.

Thankfully, there are pastors that are making great strides in dealing head on with this issue of sexual immorality in the church. Over the years, there has been an effort to talk about the Goliath of our times but when you take a closer look, it seems that we haven’t gotten the message.

One of the things that I learned while taking the course on Way To Purity by Mike Cleveland’s “Setting Captives Free” is that we must be vigilant.

Paul said in Colossians 4:2, Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving,”

Peter said in 1 Peter 5:8-9a, Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith.”

To be vigilant means to “keep awake…give strict attention to, be cautious, active to take heed lest through remission and indolence some destructive calamity suddenly overtake one.”

One of the things that we sometimes neglect to understand is that sin brings destructive calamity.

We don’t see it this way because the pleasures of sin or the pleasures of this life obscures the real intent of sin.

When it comes to sin, we reach a point of no return. Meaning that we cannot stop what comes out. Meaning that we are so far along in the process that to stop now, it would rob anyone of the euphoric reward.

Remember what James said in James 1:15, “Sin, when it is finished brings forth death.”

Paul said in Romans 6:23, The wages of sin is death but the git of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

No matter which way you look at it, sin brings death. Death is the end result after a destructive calamity. But we do not see it this way because of this Scripture in Ecclesiastes 8:11 (NLT).

“When a crime is not punished quickly, people feel it is safe to do wrong.”

Sin is a crime against the righteous and holy God. When judgment doesn’t fall swiftly, we foolishly assume that it is safe to sin again and again.

However, we know that a crime against God was committed because the conviction of the Holy Spirit immediately reminds us of the wrong we’ve committed.

Jesus said in John 16:8 “And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:”

The word convict” means to convince the world of sin.

Paul said Romans 8:1, There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.”

The opposite is true. There is condemnation for those that walk after the flesh and not after the Spirit.

Paul said that if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged so we wouldn’t be condemned with the world (see 1 Corinthians 11:30-32).

Then John said in 1 John 3:18-22, “My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.

For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.”

When we pay attention to the inner man being affected by the way we treat the Lord, when we become sensitive to the Holy Spirit, we will do everything possible to avoid feeling condemned. When we refuse to repent, we are deliberately suppressing the convicting power of the Holy Spirit to turn from sin.

One of the things that I’ve noticed is that when we stop talking about this area, we find ourselves indulging in it, bit by bit. That’s what the enemy is searching for. He is lurking to see who is not watching diligently. The devil is waiting for that one moment when you turn off or temporarily suspend watching.

Just because we rest, it doesn’t mean we turn away from God. When we take a rest from God and His Word, we make the mistake of resting from the work of the ministry and include resting from obedience to God and His Word.

One of the things that I’ve learned when I stood watch in the Navy on board ship is that at anytime the enemy can come. They “case the joint” to see how you are watching. They are looking at your habits, patterns, and cycles of watch standing.

Over the course of time, the enemy already knows your preferential sins. He sets you up with a series of small tests to see if the last level of diligence is the same. When you are regularly watching, it gives the enemy no place. It’s the moment that we stop watching that he detects an opening.

Inconsistency is what he is counting on. That one moment when you sneak a peak at a woman’s breasts and behind. Checking her out and lusting after her beauty. That momentary lapse of judgment is the door he’s been waiting to walk through. For women, it is no different. When you are checking him out sexually, you are doing the same thing. When you dress provocatively, you are opening yourself up for sins of the flesh.

Seductive dressing is a fatal attraction for men and dressing that way is an open invitation by you for him to lust after you. What you are doing is part of the spirit of harlotry in the Christian church. Passive hunting is part of the feminine power executed by sexually immoral women to exercise sexual power over weak willed men. To be in denial about this is a curse of epic proportions.

Before you know it, you are back to your old tricks and habits. Porn becomes easy to watch again because you’ve had enough of substitute porn on the magazine stands. You’re back to releasing sexual tension through masturbation or committing adultery, or soliciting prostitutes. It turns into a large scale conflict where the Spirit lusts against the flesh and the flesh wars against the Spirit.

Returning to sin deliberately is an indefensible position allowed by a willingness to compromise the Word of God.

You search for younger and younger flesh. You even consider homosexuality to satisfy a seemingly insatiable desire to fulfill the lusts of your flesh.

It turns into suppressing conviction because of losing the small, low intensity battles of compromise that easily flares up into a major theater of operations. The objective of darkness is to reestablish a better, defensible evil stronghold.

As soon as it is reestablished, the enemy raises his flag over the newly established stronghold and calls it “The Spirit Of Harlotry Temple Of Worship.”

Is there any hope of a return to righteousness? Is there any chance of returning to the Lord and remain faithful to Him forever? Can we see that sin hurts the heart of the Father? Is there any way that we can recover from the snare of the enemy?

The answer to this question is always “Yes!!!”

We must change the way we do business.

We must recognize that we are weak and powerless without Jesus and His Word. We cannot survive, let alone overcome when we open ourselves up to the small little foxes that spoil the vine.

Diligence can return when we repent and seek the Lord diligently. Yes, we can overcome and triumph when we make a stand no matter how deep in the pit of sin we are.

If sin is like dog’s vomit, would we eat it or pass up this nasty meal? If sin is like a nuclear fallout zone, would we breathe its deadly air? If sin is like sewage, would we swim in it?

Let our houses of worship be a righteous temple of the Lord. Let our physical bodies be the temple of the Holy Spirit, bought and washed by the blood of the Lamb. Sanctified, tried and true for the eternal habitation of God through the Spirit.

Hot, Sexy Single Christian

You meet a hot looking single in church. She is just too sexy to resist. You ask her out for a date. But in the back of your mind, it will be more than a date. In her mind, it’s what she planned all along. To capture a male that’s been eyeing you for a little while. She accepts your proposal and you take her out to dinner.

As planned, you then go to your house.

One thing leads to another.

You end up in bed.

In most cases these days, skip dinner and just go straight to bed.

Premarital sex is a “so what” kind of thing these days.

Maintaining your virginity is no longer sacred to many professed believers.

Growing up as a young Christian, the challenges of sexuality were all around me.

Yes, I was even propositioned by a homosexual music minister in a Baptist church.

In school, peer pressure to look to have sex abounded and I would be teased for being a “virgin.”

That didn’t stop me from sexual experimentation or indulging in masturbation. Even while courting, the temptation was there to have sex but I would let off the sexual tension through masturbation.

Yes, I am being truthful about this because almost every young boy upon reaching puberty will experiment sexually. By the time most men are married, they will either have had sex with a girl or boy, both sexes, or with themselves, or all of the above.

In any case, males will have had some sexual experience before they are married.

Single women will more than likely marry a sexually experienced male. Even if he is a virgin, if he has masturbated, he is sexually active with himself. And the same could be said of women that are virgins that are sexually active with themselves.

As I read a Christian Post three part article on premarital sex in the church, I was startled by the number of single Christians engaging in fornication.

Most Christians or professed single believers cross the line more often than we thought.

According to this article, 11% of professed single believers abstain from fornication.

This means that in the approximately 320,000 American Christian churches, 89% of single professed believers engaged in fornication.

According to several educated Christian counselors and Christian sex therapists, as soon as they took note of the power of the Internet, they knew that a storm of epic proportions would be underway and would overwhelm the church.

Today, the winds of perversion are blowing away the people that once stood for righteousness, holiness, and this is a clear indication of where America is not headed, but is already there.

The bed of fornication.

In Revelation chapters 17 and 18, though it is symbolic, we must never forget that any Scripture that is symbolic is a revelation of actuality. Just take a look at the conditions of this world and the condition of the church and you will see that what is revealed in the Book of Revelation is a true depiction of today’s conditions.

This is not to say that we are in the tribulation period, but we are rapidly progressing towards it. I am well aware that there is much disagreement about the dispensation that we are in but put aside the differences and see the reality before your eyes that we are in the bed of fornication and that we are drinking from the wine of her fornication.

2 Timothy 3:1-9  from the Message Bible says this about the last days.

“Don’t be naive. There are difficult times ahead. As the end approaches, people are going to be self–absorbed, money–hungry, self–promoting, stuck–up, profane, contemptuous of parents, crude, coarse, dog–eat–dog, unbending, slanderers, impulsively wild, savage, cynical, treacherous, ruthless, bloated windbags, addicted to lust, and allergic to God.

They’ll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they’re animals. Stay clear of these people. These are the kind of people who smooth–talk themselves into the homes of unstable and needy women and take advantage of them; women who, depressed by their sinfulness, take up with every new religious fad that calls itself “truth.”

They get exploited every time and never really learn. These men are like those old Egyptian frauds Jannes and Jambres, who challenged Moses. They were rejects from the faith, twisted in their thinking, defying truth itself. But nothing will come of these latest impostors. Everyone will see through them, just as people saw through that Egyptian hoax.”

The world is drunk with the wine of fornication.

This statistic above is a clear indication of the world’s perversion that has undeniably infiltrated the church and almost engulfing every known place where righteousness was thought to be lived and preached.

You see, it’s not just the pinnacle of sexual immorality called homosexuality that is a clear and present danger to the church. It is all forms of sexual immorality. What went under the radar is the ship and aircrafts of fornication and adultery. As you have noticed, we’ve spoken out against the winds of homosexuality, and rightfully so. But we have failed to rein in the tsunami of fornication. And when you look at the definition of fornication, the Greek word for fornication in some places in the NT is “pornea.”

Pornography is graphic illegal sex between two unmarried persons. This includes adultery. And yes, married couples foolishly engage in video taping their sex.

Because the pastors are engaged in porn and masturbation, we have very little, to nothing to stand on to curb this trend unless we repent before we are exposed by God. Some of us pastors are just as drunk with the wine of fornication as the world.

However, the Lord is plenteous in mercy and full of compassion. Slow to wrath and anger. When we turn from our wicked ways, He will abundantly pardon us and cleanse us with the precious blood of Jesus. His wrath will turn and His mercy will overwhelm us. Provided that we repent.

While watching Pastor Keith Moore ministering under a strong anointing. He used to teach at Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa OK under the late Dr. Kenneth Hagin and pastors a church in Branson MO, and Sarasota FL.

He shared about repentance.

A lost message these days.

He said that the worst place for anyone to be in is in a refusal to repent.

He said that the problem is not with God forgiving us. The problem is with people that refuse to repent. He shared that God will give us space to repent. But when you deliberately refuse to repent to continue in sin, the only thing left is the judgment of God. Paul shared that if we would judge ourselves we would not be judged so we would not be condemned with the world (see 1 Corinthians 11:31).

While it is never good to sin, we must never reach a place in our lives where we refuse to repent. The moment we deliberately refuse to repent, there is no hope. Judgment must fall. It doesn’t have to fall upon you. At any time before death, we can turn from fornication and live victorious lives in Jesus.

The Price Of Pastoral Sexual Misconduct

When David committed adultery with Bathsheba and had her husband killed to cover up his sin, David was given space to repent. In his pride and arrogance, he thought that he got away with it. It was only until Nathan the prophet, confronted David.

Actually, it was the Lord that confronted David through the prophet.

The Lord is plenteous in mercy. The Lord is slow to wrath.

Nonetheless, He is still holy, righteous, and He must impose the penalty for violating the Word of God.

God delivered David from the lion and bear. God also delivered David from Goliath.

Yet, the Goliath in his flesh remained unconquered.

The Psalms that David sung and perhaps played showed that he was a man of prayer, praise and worship. As a man, it is easy to say that David had strong spiritual roots, a strong love for God, and a very strong will but when it came to sex, we see that the sexual misconduct of David was egregious. To outright have a trusted and loyal man murdered to cover his sin is vicious, callous, and cold.

According to the law for committing the crime of adultery, he and Bathsheba should have been put to death.

Leviticus 20:10 says, “The man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, he who commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress, shall surely be put to death.”

The Lord elected to make a point with leaders. He put the sin of adultery and murder away from David, Bathsheba gave birth for nothing because God killed his son, and his battles will be from his own household. Men will take David’s wives and lie with them out in the sun because what David did was done in secret (see 2 Samuel 12:7-4).

Many pastors believe that they too, will escape unscathed.

Not one pastor has ever escaped. Not one pastor has ever got more blessed. Not one pastor has ever returned to the power of the anointing that was once on their lives.

The mistresses and adulteresses never got the glory they sought for stealing a man from his wife.

They never achieve the place of the first wife.

Adultery is never rewarded. It’s condemned and God never celebrates the violation of covenant as established in Genesis 2:24.

Never let anyone, including a fallen leader fool you. Never let yourself fall into the trap of smooth words. God is not mocked.

Many of us that watched porn and masturbated fail to gain victory because of the inability to discipline our minds and flesh to refuse to touch other woman, ourselves, or both. Our secret thoughts run rampant while we portray ourselves as “holy men of God.” For some of us, far be it from the real truth. We harbor things in our hearts like the failure of the Israeli leaders of removing the high place for dual worship purposes.

This battle rages in us because we are attached to the pleasures of sin.

The battle was won on the cross of Christ. It would be there that the Lord would condemn sin in the flesh of the Lord Jesus. It is on that ol’ rugged cross that sin would be defeated. The crucified life is no longer evasive but when we evade the spot light of the Word on our hearts, the ol’ rugged cross is a thing we set aside to enjoy the pleasures of sin.

“O wretched man that I am. Who will deliver me from this body of death?” Paul’s answer is simple.

“I thank God – through Jesus Christ my Lord.”

The key is understanding the Lordship of Jesus.

James 4:7 said this….Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

Submitting to the Lordship of Jesus on a moment by moment basis ensures victory every time. It is only when we submit to the Lordship of Jesus that we are qualified to resist the devil. It is only then that the devil will flee from us. Just as the devil fled Jesus after 40 days of temptation in the wilderness.

Pastoral sexual misconduct is more normal than holiness these days.

This can change when we realize that we are hurting the heart of the Father in the same way that Adam and Eve hurt God. Our momentary lapse of judgment to experience the pleasure of that which is forbidden suppresses caring about how God feels about your sin.

Conviction is suppressed because compromise rules the heart.

Equally worse is the heart of the wife and children that were betrayed.

The wife goes through many emotional roller coasters trying to make sense of a selfish, senseless act of defiance of God and marriage vows. The children are left with an example of a callous act. Sometimes they grow up later and never recover. Commit the same sins, and continue a generation curse that could only be stopped when one child recognizes that sin never pays and its price is always death.

The reputation of a pastor is forever tarnished.

Proverbs 6:32-33 says “Whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding; he who does so destroys his own soul.  Wounds and dishonor he will get, and his reproach will not be wiped away.”

Foolishly, they return to minister in hopes that God would endorse them again, but that will never be the case.

Every man that committed adultery is on a failed comeback trail. A vain attempt to redeem themselves. Again, while the Lord does forgive once repentance is made, the former glory is never attained.

PREVENTION

Prevention begins when we allow ourselves to have eyes on our lives. The nature of Secret Sexual Sins is just that.

A secret.

As long as we prevent ourselves from harboring secrets in our minds, we can keep ourselves from falling into the trap of elitism, empowerment, entitlement, and expediency. When we believe that we are powerful enough to abstain, like Paul said, “Take heed, lest you fall.”

The anointing and grace of God in the pulpit is very easy to hide behind. When service is over, we are at our most vulnerable state. This is when we are attacked the most. A demonic plant of immoral women will look for these weaknesses and exploit them with their beauty. Or when you are having marital problems at home, the sexually immoral woman will act like Delilah, a prototype of Jezebel, have you lay on her lap, and divulge your heart.

In an emotionally charged moment, she makes her move, or you make your move, and adulterous sex is very easy to fall into.

As a pastor, you must never cross the professional line to take advantage of a woman’s vulnerability. Some pastors will use their oratorical skills and personality to woo women into the bedroom. Blinded by smooth words, she is easily taken advantaged of. At the same time, you cannot read between the lines when Delilah shows up to church.

Her beauty will smite you.

Proverbs 7:21-23 says,

With her enticing speech she caused him to yield, with her flattering lips she seduced him. Immediately he went after her, as an ox goes to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks, till an arrow struck his liver. As a bird hastens to the snare, he did not know it would cost his life.”

Proverbs 6:25-26 says, “Do not lust after her beauty in your heart, nor let her allure you with her eyelids. For by means of a harlot a man is reduced to a crust of bread; and an adulteress will prey upon his precious life.”

What worse is that the adulterous woman is the staircase to hell.

Yes, according to Hebrews 13:4, God judges the adulterer and adulteress and according to 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, adulterers and fornicators will not inherit the kingdom of God. If you live an unrepentant life, you will go to hell. While God forgives, forgiveness is granted when we repent and sin no more. The grace of God doesn’t give us permission to sin. The mercy of God is designed to prevent that which we rightfully deserve.

Then there are the Jezebels that look for strong males, weak men in the pulpit. Jezebel will give up the use of her body to gain power. Her plan is very simple, yet effective. The end result is always inevitable. Her death. Not that all of them will die physically, but her plan dies when the church splits.

A strong man of God will never surrender his relationship with God for a cheap thrill.

It’s too high a price to pay.

Men that committed adultery never recover to the place when their anointing of the Lord is strong. They become a shadow of what they were. They never walk in the place of anointing because the Lord never condones the act of adultery. If you desire to throw ministry away, a pastor first must throw his relationship with the Lord away.

The precursor of throwing your relationship with the Lord away is when you have lust in your heart for other women. It is there that the imaginations of the heart run unchecked. TV commercials, the Internet, and other things is strategically laid out like a minefield. Every image that the eyes observe is intended to saturate your mind. It is is part of the plan of the devil to choke and strangle the Word in your heart. Overwhelmed with sexual images, the mind thirsts and hunger for sex.

The rest is history.

When we fail to govern our eyes, and cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, we store up within our mind sexual images that become high places for idolatrous worship. Ultimately, they become strongholds. Most images are intended to get a rise out of you. Other images are harmless but because of the unregenerate mind that is not renewed, we can make someone that is not dressed sexually very sexual (see Proverbs 27:20, Job 31:1, and Matthew 5:27-30).

Submitting to the Lordship of Jesus is the only way to combat this onslaught of the enemy.

When we obey the Lord to discipline our eyes and obey the prompting of the Holy Spirit to escape, victory is assured. The moment we disobey the prompting of the Holy Spirit and refuse to discipline our eyes, is certain destruction.

Sexual misconduct can be prevented.

It’s a matter of returning to the Lord and understanding the long term ramifications of falling into deliberate sin.

Secret Sexual Sin is never worth it because in the end, death is its only payment.

ERE THE LAMP OF GOD WENT OUT

1 Samuel 3:3-4 (KJVStrongs)

And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the Lord, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep; That the Lord called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I.”

I just recently read an article about a woman in Germany driving an hour and a half to a church where there would be a concert for unity between Muslims and Christians.

Her name is Heidi Mund.

Just as the imam was leading his prayer, she stood and interrupted his prayer, cried out that “Jesus Christ is Lord of Germany……I break this curse.”

Ultimately, in this “church” building, she was escorted out.

All over the world, and sadly, in the United States, we are seeing the slow process of sexual immorality dim the light of the church. If you do not think that it is dark outside and inside the church, just look at the promiscuity and perverseness that entered the church in the last 30 years. We keep reading about pastors molesting children, having adulterous affairs, mistresses tripping up pastors, homosexuality permitted in the church, and other vile situations.

Looking back a few thousand years, and we are reminded of the story of Israel losing the Ark of the Covenant.

This magnificent instrument was the symbol of the presence of God.

Anytime the Ark of God was brought out, it meant certain destruction for its enemy and instant death for those that dare touch it that wasn’t supposed to touch it.

The Lord did away with the OT covenant and God, supposedly, is in the hearts of people that repented, received forgiveness, and are born again by the Holy Spirit, made possible, courtesy of the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

In the days we are living, some of us are no longer walking in the ways of The Lord. Many people have turned their backs on The Lord and live promiscuous lives.

Many of us are more concerned about getting off sexually than living holy before The Lord.

The sons of Eli perverted the tabernacle of Moses. Hophni and Phinehas committed adultery before The Lord and the nation of Israel plunged into darkness. The Lord took the heartfelt cry of Hannah and used it to take away from Israel the Ark but with a plan to return Israel to serving The Lord.

The symbology in 1 Samuel is incredible. Samuel would be the last Judge but the first of many prophets to speak to the nation of Israel.

The Lord would remove Eli and his sons because Eli failed to correct his sons for the sexual sins committed in the open. The nation of Israel would suffer defeat from the Philistines but in humiliation, The Lord always had a plan to restore Israel should they repent.

When there is no open vision or revelation of the Word, there would be a hunger for the precious Word of God. We are seeing this unfold today.

People all across the country are looking for the Word of God. When the Word becomes precious again, people will hunger for God like never before.

Here in the United States, it must get darker and people must become more desperate for God. You see, when you are self sufficient, you have no need of God. This implies that pride is running your life to the degree that you have no need of God. Even when a series of disasters strike, most people “roll with the punches.” But there is a punch that is coming that we will not be able to “roll” with.

In the parable of the Prodigal Son, the conditions for this son got desperate. To the degree that he had to return to his father’s house, repent, and be restored. Such is the case today. We have to hit rock bottom. There are few who will hit rock bottom and will rise. Sadly, there will be many that will hit rock bottom and will never rise.

CAN’T SEE AND OVERWEIGHT

At a critical moment in time, spiritual leadership became dim in their eyesight. Eli represents the spiritual leadership of our day. Not only was Eli’s eyesight dim, but he was overweight, obese…….heavy……..fat.

These two things are indicative of our inability to see and our satisfaction of the world in our belly.

We can’t see and we can’t move.

But before the lamp of God goes out, God speaks to a child.

The Lord called Samuel.

It wasn’t an ordinary call. Most calls of God are not usual or common.

This call required someone that would do exactly as he was told.

Samuel. Then name means “heard of God.”

Hannah’s prayer was “heard of God” but God’s cried His prayer through Hannah that Israel would return to Him.

God used Samuel to be heard. Loud and clear.

JUDGMENT BEGINNING WITH LEADERSHIP

The sexual sins of Eli’s sons prompted God to speak in such a way that it would be an unmistakable move of God to turn the hearts of Israel from their sins. It always begin with spiritual leadership. This is where the judgment of God must begin.

Porn and masturbation is still a major unaddressed sin in pastoral leadership. These taboo subjects remain taboo because we know that if we were honest about what we do in secret, we would expose these things in our lives big time.

In order for the house to be cleansed, spiritual leadership must be purged.

The purging is in line with Scripture because when the children of Israel sinned in the plains of Moab, Moses was instructed to hang the leaders (see Numbers 25:4). The hyper grace false doctrine of our times is significantly contributing the the spiritual condition that all sin is forgiven and you could sin as much as you want with impunity.

Far from the case. Just as The Lord instructed Paul to commit to satan for the destruction of the flesh those that would blaspheme, we see that another leadership purging will be underway should we fail to repent.

The raising up of leadership to set the course of the church back on track begins when we see The Lord instructing believers to go into places where they will assume the watch, to pray and cry aloud the gospel of Jesus Christ.

THE WARNING

The warning has been issued for quite some time. Some have listened, others have turned a deaf ear.

BATTLE NUMBER ONE

When the children of Israel went out to battle the Philistines, in the first battle, the Israelites lost four thousand men. It should have been an indication to them that sin was in the camp. They never attacked the sin in the camp because of SINNING leadership.

Instead, they attack the Philistines.

You will never win by attacking the very instrument sent by God to judge you.

It’s the same condition in the church in the United States and abroad. The judgment on the economy is the Philistines but the church is still using “faith” and “prosperity” messages against the Philistines instead of repentance, righteousness, and holiness.

We’ve been warned but we are not heeding the warning.

So what does the children of God do?

We know?

Let’s bring out the Ark of God.

In like manner, we bring out “Praise and Worship.”

In our sinful conditions we worship and praise God.

BATTLE NUMBER TWO

They Israelites shouted so loud that it started an earthquake. The Philistines heard that Israel broke out the ARK OF GOD. THEY THOUGHT THAT THEY WERE DONE.

But somehow, they mustered up the courage to go and fight against the Israelites.

Hophni and Phinehas was with the Ark of God.

It should have meant certain death for the Philistines but just the opposite was planned by God.

In battle number two, 30 thousand Israeli foot soldiers lost their lives. A clear sign that the battle is over. But that’s not all.

The Philistines took the Ark of God.

When you are in sin, the presence of The Lord departs. The power of God is never present when Secret Sexual or Overt Sexual Sins is in the midst of the church. We honestly believe that The Lord is among us but who are we really fooling?

Obviously ourselves.

Be not deceived. God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap.”

Before the Ark of God was taken, the lamp was already about to be put out. But the lamp was already out in the hearts of Israel. It was at this time that The Lord initiated a plan to wake them up. So it is today. God is calling and we must respond the way He desires for us to respond.

With no open vision or revelation and a scarcity of the Word of God, it is no wonder that today the religions of the world are cozy in the house of worship. There is no presence of God evident and it is safe for Muslims to come in and rule the house of God. It is safe for Christianity to be reduced to a gutter religion that allows the sin of homosexuality to be comfortable.

Homosexuality, adultery, fornication, and bisexuality is safe in the temple of The Lord.

Sin reigns when Paul said “Let not sin reign in your mortal bodies.”

Very few places carry the fear of The Lord in their hearts and houses of worship. We are too casual and complacent. We do not walk carefully in or outside the house of worship.

But God will move again to compel His people to seek His face.

The lamp of God doesn’t have to go out in our hearts.
