LGBT: The President, Politicians, And Morals

The president showed up on Jay Leno’s show to talk about morals. Yeah. He went there. Saying (words to the affect) that same sex marriage is the moral thing to do.

First, if you are not saved, water baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

And second, if you are not a preacher, exclusively called by God, examined by competent ministers, and one that lives holy and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ as practiced in the Word, you are neither qualified, nor competent in teaching or politicking about morals.

This is what the president said.

”I’ve been very clear that when it comes to universal rights, when it comes to peoples’ basic freedoms, whether you are discriminating on the basis of race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation, you are violating the basic morality that I think should transcend every country. I have no patience for countries that try to treat gays or lesbians or transgender persons in ways that intimidate them or are harmful to them.” – See more at: http://perezhilton.com/2013-08-07-president-obama-russia-anti-gay-laws-jay-leno-tonight-show#sthash.p0LEPNB1.dpuf

Mr. President, it doesn’t matter what you think.

The God of the Bible gave us what He said which transcends the sinner.

We understand that you are trying to be a president for all the people, but you have pick the wrong subject.

The ministry of morals is given into the hands of preachers that live what we preach.

Preaching or sharing about morals is also given to the faithful in Christ that departed iniquity.

It is an outrage for anyone to assume that we would keep silent and allow politics to dictate morals.

Then there are individuals in ministerial leadership that stand for a president that defiantly stands against God and His Word.

Brother Lonnie Poindexter of CUREnet Clergy Forum and Director for the Center for Urban Renewal and Education, shared this powerful comment and allowed me to attach it to this blog.

“I have been beat up on by members of the Black community many of them pastors who tell me “He’s the President, not the Pope or a minister. Its not his job to speak on spiritual things. So don’t judge him, he has to speak for all American’s including gays.”

Well as you can see, POTUS is sounding a lot like a pastor or minister, except his form of the Gospel is diametrically opposed to God’s holy scriptures.

And the ‘don’t judge’ crowd is wrong. Every king is a moral authority over the land and subjects he is given charge over. Scripture is loaded with references to Godly and ungodly kings. This man does not read the same bible we do nor does he espouse the values we do. He has another agenda. And mark my word, eventually he is going to “come out closet” himself.

You can put a pretty bow on it, bath it, even give it earrings and a pearl necklace. But a pig is still a pig, and sin is still sin. I don’t care how many laws you pass to make it legal, or how much popular opinion you garner on TV to make it more acceptable….smh”

I couldn’t agree more with this assessment.
It is a revelation of the lack of backbone required in pastoral ministry. When the people dictate which way the church is going as far as morals are concerned, it is clear that a compromise exists. And even if people do not push the issue, if a pastor leads without God, the house is no less than an open sepulcher.

As a result, millions of people will reject the gospel and go on their merry way to hell.

I am aware that you probably go to safe places where the convicting power of God’s holy Word doesn’t confront the sin you uphold. In a much lesser light, you’ve probably allowed them to preach the right Word of God but you intentionally ignore the voice of the Lord.

As far as Russia is concerned, we all know that Russia is still an emerging democracy. We also know that as far as understanding the lengths LGBT is willing to go, the propaganda of homosexuality destabilizes families and whole societies. Much more, it is a direct attack against the righteousness of God that families need today.

It goes without saying that the Russians got it right and America got it wrong.

It’s not the oppressing of people that Russia is about. It is about the propaganda of sin. It is clear that perhaps the Russian Orthodox Church is involved behind the suppression of the propaganda of homosexuality. And for good reason.

For 70 years, Russia has been under the rule of a system of dictators. Totalitarianism ruled their families for a long time. While each day passes, we see that the grace of God is working to save many Russians before the Lord comes. Their stand against proponents of LGBT is a clear and decisive act to ensure that more time is given to Russia. There are many churches in Russia that is ministering the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

While in the United States there is something called “ClergyProject.com“ where pastors from across the nation that once preached the gospel become atheist. This project started in 2012. One by one, pastors are walking away from the truth of the Word of God. We have seen a few pastors walk away from the truth of the Word of God and turn homosexual.

Why is this worth mentioning?

When spiritual leadership walk away from the Lord and the delivering power of the gospel of Jesus Christ, there is a vacuum of morals. This lack of spiritual leadership from those in the minsitry reaches into the very people that look to God for salvation, deliverance, and freedom in Jesus.

The power of politics, therefore, will dictate morals. But it is not necessarily from the highest places of political power but it’s from the people with money called the “elite” that drive politics. The people that are caught in the middle are the foot soldiers of immorality.

Top to bottom the money flows into every facet of society.

Now that we have a president that believes that Russia is “violating the basic morality,” he is issuing a very bold statement to say that he believes that homosexuality is moral.

Thank God that the Word of God is the final authority on morals. Thank God that His loyal preachers, that will not compromise the Lord and the Word of the Lord, will stand and tell the world the truth about morals.

There are many people that want to silence the preachers and the righteous voice in the earth. This will never happen. Just like the Lord had 7000 that never bowed their knee to Baal, all across the country, there are preachers that stand ready to preach and live the gospel of Jesus Christ without fail or compromise.

Furthermore, the president mention that he has “…no patience for countries that try to treat gays or lesbians or transgender persons in ways that intimidate them or are harmful to them.”

I do agree that people are human beings, however, when you specialize a class of people, equal justice is no longer in play here. It is clear that Russia and the United States have serious human rights issues. Racism is still alive and well in the United States. It appears, however, that POTUS is more interested in the rights of LGBT than the right to life for the unborn African Americans, and the living African Americans.

As I’ve said before, if I were president, my time in office would have been used to right the wrongs against African Americans. I would dare to say that I probably wouldn’t last a first term but the record would have shown the immediate dismantling of the institutionalization of abortion and a destabilization of LGBT AGENDAS against my people.

For a reelection ploy, he gives cell phones. What do black people do? Thank him in the voting booth. And talk about upholding morality. What does the IRS do? They attack and intimidate conservative believers. And Russia is accused of suppressing the propaganda of homosexuality.

This is why the morals of America should never be brought into play here because American politicians that support the sin of homosexuality, as well as any sin has no morals.

So Mr President, leave the preaching of morals to competent, qualified preachers that is loyal to the Lord and will never compromise the true principles of God and His Word.
