The Cry For…..Hack……Authentic Preachers…….Hack!

For you that are young in the ministry, there is a word for you. Realize that things of the past are an indication of warning for preachers to change the way we do business.

Many young ones will not be able to tell you what is the central theme of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the central theme of all preaching. Many will tell you to save souls but watch their ministry. Watch what they preach and look at the results.

The church is in dire need of authentic preachers for the times. If the children of Israel were an example, we need to pay attention to the example and avoid their folly.

Sadly, the young ones will not heed because they are on a roll and the crowd loves them so much that for young preachers to change, it would put a crimp in their style, and they would decrease any exposure for new engagements. Any sign of real holiness, genuine righteousness, abstaining from fornication, and true repentance would chase people away and churches wouldn’t be packed.

A packed church with people screaming all over the place is a byproduct of Showtime At The Apollo.

Many of us who have been in the ministry for 30 plus years are seeing a defection from the truth of the gospel and a circus atmosphere in the pulpits. If you haven’t had a good time in church, you didn’t have church.

Well, we are not supposed to have church. We are supposed to be the church. And the church is supposed to live in such a way that the light shines and the salt is tasted. If all the world is tasting is candy, sweet and low, and nothing else, no wonder they can dictate terms of how the church is to behave because we have surrendered to their demands to leave the world alone.

Litte do we realize that legislation is getting to the place where a restriction on the gospel is about to be imposed. Now the politicians will not mind your circus preaching and lack of holiness. You are safe. You won’t be bothered.

But the ones that decide not to be restricted by the laws of man, the real holy preachers with authentic living, we are not a threat. We promise to live the Word and preach the Word, with holy zeal, and authentic conviction.

We are seeing the church accept the standards of the world as the gold standard for the church.

Lights, cameras, world class musicians, and all.

We don’t mind preaching and illicit sex and blatant homosexuality.

We don’t mind preachers and drug addicts, sex addicts, and alcoholics.

We don’t mind practicing harlots in praise and worship and bisexual music ministers.

We don’t mind promiscuous porn and masturbation having music ministers.

We don’t mind profits (intentionally misspelled) coming in to fleece the flock with great generalized swelling words that sway a crowd that love to have their ears ticked.

Most preachers that have these meetings come with feather in hand anyway.

When I look at the FB lineup of preachers and see YouTube “evangelists” preaching to sheep, this Word of the Lord given to Jeremiah, the prophet come mind. Here’s the Word of the Lord to Jeremiah that depicts the prophets and preachers of our day today. If you measure up, by all means, repentance is authorized.

Jeremiah 23…..

30 “Therefore behold, I am against the prophets,” says the Lord, “who steal My words every one from his neighbor.

31 Behold, I am against the prophets,” says the Lord, “who use their tongues and say, ‘He says.’

32 Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams,” says the Lord, “and tell them, and cause My people to err by their lies and by their recklessness. Yet I did not send them or command them; therefore they shall not profit this people at all,” says the Lord.

33 “So when these people or the prophet or the priest ask you, saying, ‘What is the oracle of the Lord? ’ you shall then say to them, ‘What oracle?’ I will even forsake you,” says the Lord.

34 “And as for the prophet and the priest and the people who say, ‘The oracle of the Lord!’ I will even punish that man and his house.

35 Thus every one of you shall say to his neighbor, and every one to his brother, ‘What has the Lord answered?’ and, ‘What has the Lord spoken?’

36 And the oracle of the Lord you shall mention no more. For every man’s word will be his oracle, for you have perverted the words of the living God, the Lord of hosts, our God.

37 Thus you shall say to the prophet, ‘What has the Lord answered you?’ and, ‘What has the Lord spoken?’

38 But since you say, ‘The oracle of the Lord!’ therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Because you say this word, “The oracle of the Lord!” and I have sent to you, saying, “Do not say, ‘The oracle of the Lord! ’”

39 therefore behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you and forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and will cast you out of My presence.

40 And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.’”

The cry for authentic preachers ascend to the throne of God.

It’s tough being critical of false teachers and preachers, pastors, bishops, apostles, evangelists, teachers, and such. This cry for authentic preachers is not something that we should ignore.

Most of my ministry was spent in hypocrisy. The written and audio blogs that I was privileged to share is already out there and there is no real additional reason to regurgitate my episodes of sins.

But I will say this…..I know my contribution to inauthenticity of preachers and it is not pretty.

For the rest of my life, I intend to devote as much time to shaping the mindset of current preachers that are on the scene. For those that are young in the ministry (10 to 15 years), you were called at a critical time in the earth to live and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I look at your young faces and I see energy, excitement, and zeal.

It’s hard not to say what is lacking. You really can’t base a person’s ministry on one presentation. However, one presentation speaks volumes to those that listen to your preaching.

What is it that we are seeing from these young preachers?

We are seeing emotional zeal and fervor. It looks like fire. But there is no smoke because the kind of fire that comes from God is non existent because of the life of a lack of blowing on the consecrated embers in the secret place of His presence.

There is zeal, but there is no awe of God or deep conviction that captures the heart and steers people towards God. Altar calls of the people of God is not a real gauge of closeness to God. Closeness to God is determined in secret places. Where religiosity is not hypocritical or short lived.

These young preachers have great words prepared to “move” the crowd, but they are given to people that already know. And we see tears, hands raised, and a lot of emotion from the people but is that the Lord or just emotion?

Do you still hunt for flesh after service? You can have these things in you but do you act on these urges and impulses because you can’t help yourself? Temptation is not sin, but do you sin as a result of temptation, even after a “high and holy time in the presence of the Lord?”

Proof of lives being changed by preaching and teaching is when a person walks away from a meeting and God spoke to them about their Secrets.

“God doesn’t do this all the time,” you say, but stemming from the LGBT gay/homosexual agenda against the church, there is no question in my mind that the Lord is speaking about this loud and clear, all the time. We are in the midst of troubled times and a lack of sexual discipline is at the root of all this mess that is in the church.

The church is not at the gates of the enemy because the enemy possess our gates. And as long as you are willing to commit sin on a regular practiced basis, the enemy occupies your temple.

Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit…….right?

Well if you commit sin, the temple is now desecrated.

No matter how good a preacher sound, if he or she is compromised, tainted goods, that “anointing” is worthless and it will not profit you.

But most people that come to meetings are hoping that the Lord doesn’t go there.

There are other places we want the Spirit of God to go. Like our money. Our houses. Our cars. Yeah, Lord…..hack!

But when we are caught with our hands on ourselves sexually. Or when we are in sister Suzzie’s linen or satin sheet bedroom, we do not want the Lord to reveal that. Or when unmarried sisters are smoothed talked by married or unmarried, or bisexual Evangelist James Slickslide, he slips his hand on your black laced backside, and you are “anointed” with Secret Sexual Sins.

When that good looking preacher just can’t help himself to watch porn and masturbate.

No….hack!…...we don’t…..hack……want God…….hack……to go there! Hack!!!!

What is your next step pastor? I work with small groups of men in learning how to pray as one. Next my hope is they learn about being a disciple as I teach and pray with them. They then should grow up and go on to make disciples. But obedient is a four letter word when I admonish them about a sin such as sex outside of marriage they rebel. I have been told I’m not very loving and that is not Christ like. I have seen more men fall away then go on to be disciples. By todays American church measuring standards I am a failure just like Jeremiah would be if he was alive today. This is a narrow and hard road to go down Pastor, if you are really going walk this road. Amen, James

Agreed. Many of these young preachers only mirror what they see in others. Many pastors are responsible for the product. And many pastors will not look outside of the Body to see what is out there that may change their course towards effective teaching and preaching.

The Bible is filled with examples of how Jesus reached the masses, yet, He knew how to disciple the few.

The times demand a change of course. Without this first realization, we will continue to see young preachers not know what the true essence of ministry is. Kingdom building by making disciples.

I don’t think you are a failure and that’s because Jeremiah was not a failure either. Jeremiah was called at a rough time in Israel where no one listened to the Word of The Lord.

Their refusal to listen is not Jeremiah’s failure but rather an expectation for the times Israel lived. Even so, it’s the same with you and every preacher that preach and live uncompromisingly for The Lord. As Paul, cast down but not forsaken.

      I appreciate your comments.
