Whoredom In A Baptist Church; The Homosexualization Of Denominations And Non Denominational Churches

How soon we forget Dr. Zachary Tims’ fate with adultery with a stripper and unconfirmed drug use that may have significantly contributed to his untimely death.

Then when you read this, an HIV/AIDS infected pastor infecting several women in his church with the virus, in a Full Gospel Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA, (correction- Craig Lamar Davis, the HIV/AIDS infected elder, is an elder of another denomination other than the Full Gospel Baptist Church founded by Bishop Paul S. Morton).

But here is the twist of twists.

The executive assistant of Bishop Paul S. Morton is the wife of Craig Lamar Davis.

Nonetheless, it is OUTRAGEOUS!

Many will just place the blame on the infected pastor…

Thanks to Sister Felicia Tatum, she shared this link and you can read about it here…..

…but when you examine this a little closer, you will see that this MARRIED MAN, smoothed talked these women into bed.

Fortunately, a woman that was sadly infected by Mr. I. B. Stupid reported it to the police and he was arrested. But too little, too late. Judgment fell for these women.

An automatic death sentence was imposed upon these women based on Psalm 107:17…

“Fools, because of their transgressions, and because of their iniquities, were afflicted.”

There are two sides to every story but this is one story that has whoredom written all over this.

This house of God became a house of whoredom.

Psalm 93:5 says….

“Your testimonies are very sure; holiness adorns Your house, O Lord, forever.”

In this case, unholiness dressed their house.

Again, it’s not the results that make this thing a serious issue.

Go all the way back to Secret Sexual Sins.

Now with HIV/AIDS, there is the possibility that this sinning preacher was allegedly bisexual, there isn’t any thing conclusive but we will know as the facts become available.

More confirmation about his past sexual life needs to be revealed but there is no question in my mind about the possibility of porn and masturbation. Sexual addition issues of a level one sex addict are not that hard to determine.

This is a commission of a crime and it is no different than raping them and then killing them.

But there is a difference.

These women knowingly consented to have sex with a married man.

They didn’t know that he was infected but all they had to do was ask and even if he said no, they had no business with a married man. This underscores their relationship with the Lord that their relationship with God was not as serious as it should have been.

See how easy it is to turn away from the Lord?

Just read Numbers chapters 19 through 25 and you will see a striking resemblance between Israel and the church today.

Physical adultery is indicative of spiritual adultery. When you are willing to sin, you have decided to put aside your relationship with the Lord for a romp in bed with a married man. And sadly, more women, right now, are doing the same thing.

Being taken advantaged of and or putting aside their relationship with the Lord to have sex.

He took it to a depraved level where he had no care for his victims. They were the object of his sexual prowess. And the women paid for it. Now the fate of these women are sealed unless the healing power of God manifests.

Women that make themselves sexually available outside of the institution of marriage, must take responsibility as well. Then again, if their sole objective is just to get off, then they are sexual immoral women in the house of the Lord.

Hence, whoredom in the house of God.

And we wonder why LGBT has an ill-legitimate argument to legitimize the sin of homosexuality.

We know that there are many incidences like this. Only this got reported. Do not think for one minute that there aren’t any more. If God were to uncover the reality of what is happening in His church, the abominations that occur every week, we would cringe.

For the most part, this is business as usual and the church will just shrug its shoulders and keep sin alive in the house. Meaning that it’s no big deal. It happens all the time. And we need to keep it moving.

All the while, the church is now a house of whores, pimps, prostitutes, preacher predators, and full blown perversion which makes homosexualization of denominations, and non denominations the premier move of devils in the 21st Century.

In this age where many men are not available for marriage, the offer of cheap sex is the option most explored. In other words, getting off (sex-orgasm) without marriage.

The sin of self sex gets old for most people and the excitement of hooking up sexually transcends the hopeless cycle of sexual addiction.

Proverbs speaks of the sexually immoral woman and in the church, the persuasive pull of a charismatic, good looking pastor may be too irresistible to turn down. In one blog, one woman went to bed in hopes of marrying a married man. How dumb and stupid. I know that this is callous but in days gone by, messing with a married man was definitely off limits.

Women back then would do it but not at the pace of today.

In another blog, one women remained sex free for 15 years and then gave in to his advances.

It is easy to pursue the course of burning in the flesh. It goes with saying that depending on the size of the local church, women love to talk and when something of this magnitude is not revealed until someone gets either infected or pregnant, it only underscores the fact that MOAB is in the church.

Sexual immorality is the Mother Of All Battles.

So, the sexual immoral church is leading the way towards the culmination of the end times.

But thank God Ephesians 5:26-27 must happen.

Ready or not, the church will be washed. Those that want to be clean will be clean. Those that want to be holy will be holy. That want to be sanctified will be sanctified. Those that want to be consecrated and dedicated will be consecrated and dedicated.

Those that love the Lord will put aside the spotted garment and wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb.

These are the last days and not everyone will be ready.

But those that will be ready will turn out white on the day of His appearing.

Head Long Course To The End Of Time: Be Ready, Stay Ready!

As I read blog after blog and new report after news report, I see so much about repentance, prayer, and fasting to turn this nation. We see that the Word of the Lord was in the mouth of Dr. Billy Graham about America repenting and turning to God like Nineveh did when Jonah had preached the word of repentance for them.

Evidently, his preaching was effective because Nineveh turned around.

And yes, Nineveh repented but eventually, Nineveh reverted back to its sins and was eventually judged, and destroyed in 612 BC (see Nahum 2).

As a note, according to Nelson’s Bible Dictionary…

“At the time of the greatest prosperity of Nineveh as described by Jonah, the city was surrounded by a circuit wall almost 13 kilometers (eight miles) long. This “great city” would have had an area sufficient to contain a population of 120,000, as indicated by Jonah 4:11 and 3:2. Evidence for this is provided by Calah to the south, where 69,754 persons lived in a city half the size of Nineveh. As a result, it would have required a “three day’s journey”  to go around the city, and a “day’s journey” would have been needed to reach the city center from the outlying suburbs, just as the Book of Jonah reports (Jonah 3:4).”

Filled with prosperity. A very large city. A great recipe for cares, riches and pleasures of this life, without God, and full of debauchery.

Folks, I’ve gone past the world because the world is run by the “prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience.”

We are seeing the church, living any ol’ kind of way and thumbing its nose at God.

Then I remember what the Lord said.

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

We also bring to bear the word of the Lord in Luke 17….

“And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be in the days of the Son of Man: they ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.

We also bring to bear the word of the Lord to Paul in 2 Timothy 3:1-5.

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self- control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”

The days of Noah and Lot are indicative of the current times we are living in.

All around us, even in a downturn economy, people are eating, drinking, and getting married. However, the level of prosperity is significantly diminished. However, the perverseness of men’s hearts is increasing. People are callous and cold. Quick to kill.

The days of Lot is reminiscent of Sodom and Gomorrah where today LGBT issues are at the forefront of our times. And we are seeing church leaders caving in and capitulating to the mean and gross spirit of homosexuality and lesbianism unlike at anytime.

We are seeing the secrets of pastors portrayed before our eyes. People living in sin as if it is nothing before God. The next thing that we need to ask ourselves is…..

Are we praying, fasting, and repenting to stay what is to come?

We should be on our face before God and we need to warn the people inside and outside the church because when the destruction of the wrath of God falls, no one will be spared except those that know Him.

What we are doing is buying more time for more souls to come into the kingdom because when He says…“Sound the trumpet,” it’s over.

For the earth, it will be 7 years. For us in heaven according to Ephesians chapter 1, it will be a quick turn around.

But the thing that is lurking behind all of this is the fact that many preachers in leadership will revert backwards to business as usual after all of the repenting, and fasting, and praying. For some, repentance will not stick. And by the Spirit of God, Peter gives us a reason.

“Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water.

But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you…”

Many have already betrayed the Lord with their evil living and sensual lifestyles. Many of them were demonic plants that knew how to deceive the very elect. And as a result, instead of these believers, with their Bibles, walk away from them, they embraced their sin and perverted preaching.

Sadly, many will never recover.

We are still hearing “self help” messages which is what Paul warned of in Ephesians 4, and he warned the elders before he left for Jerusalem in Acts 20.

We hear messages that make a mess like…..”Wait till the storm pass and it will be alright” kind of messages. When it is clear as day that we are heading towards the climax of the ages.

There are many false misfit prophets for profits, false teachers and false preachers that still talk about “their anointings,” breakthrough power, and accumulating mass amounts of wealth off of the backs of uncomprehending Bible readers that are revelatory sucker/gullible saints (see Acts 17:11).

We need to own up to the known fact that the Body of Christ is off point and off message. We are having a good time in church but we are not seeing the destruction that is pending upon the entire globe. We are still worried about big church buildings, great anointed services, tickle my ears preaching and teaching and we are completely ineffective, blind, lame and miserable.

Perhaps, we are the most ineffective church to ever arrive on the earth. Perhaps, we are Sampson with our eyes gouged out and tied between the post. Perhaps we are an apostate bunch of hypocrites. But thank God that there is a remnant that refuses to walk like the Gentiles walk.

It’s not all grim out there.

It’s good that we are setting times of prayer, fasting, and repentance. I believe this is Ephesians 5:26-27 and 2 Corinthians 7:1 in operation for the times we are living in. However, we need also be mindful that the end time events are sure to come.

Peter tells us…

“Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

You see, no matter how much we would like to see this nation turn around, the nation within a nation (the church) must recognize that it must stop compromising and make a stand against the winds of deception that blow against her.

Saints must remain saints and discard sin, no matter how much it hurts. Ezra, the scribe told the Israelites to put away the foreign wives. It hurts when you have to get rid of someone beautiful. You’ve connected in the bedroom and you figured that you are going to live a long time together. But you know what the Word of the Lord was and you knew that one day it would all come to an end.

So it is with the sin you love.

If you are going to make it into the kingdom, everything that is not of God must go.

Shed tears, complain, murmur, but you know what must be done.

The sooner, the better.

Hebrews 12 tells us…

“Let us lay aside every weight and the sin which does so easily beset us and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith…”

Yes, let’s continue to pray but look at the sands of the hour glass. It is as low and getting lower at the top. Time is wasting according to Romans 13:11-14.

Oops, I Did It Again; How Do I Stop Masturbating; For Good?

I can’t believe I did it again. Lord, I thought that I would be done with this. I can’t break free. Why, Lord? Why am I still bound. I promised that I wouldn’t do it again, and I have failed.

Forgive me, Lord. I’m sorry.

O wretched man that I am! Who will be able to deliver men from this body of death?

No. I am not talking about me in relapse (Fred Rochester), there is a backstop of prevention instituted and incorporated in my life, but the many other men and women that remain bound when they do not have to be bound. Masturbation, adultery, fornication, bisexuality, homosexuality. It’s a constant cycle for many and it seems like there is no way out.

But there is.

You just need to make up your mind to cross the line to God and never go back.

Now mind you, Paul said…“Let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall….”

When I read that Scripture, Paul issued a warning that if you do not pay attention to your surroundings, you will fall.

As long as you pay attention to your surroundings, you will not fall.

The moment you take your eyes off of the Lord, fail to put the Word to work in constant instant application to your life, mainly, your eyes, hands, and your mind, you will fall.

Look at what the Lord gave Peter.

“Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

“But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self- control, to self- control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.

For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;

This is not perfection.

This is watching and praying.

Watching who you submit to (God and the Word), and learning how to put it all together to keep free of sexual addictions and bondages.

In 24 hours, 2.1 billion persons will download Internet porn.

Now, you’ve tried to stop.

You’ve fasted and prayed. Confessed the Scriptures. Talked to your pastor or accountability partner, or your accountability group that you trust and feel safe with, but the urge got too strong to overcome.

What really happened was that the urges and impulses were allowed to rule in such a way that you gave up fighting them. Remember, the temptation has limitations imposed by God. It’s your urges and impulses that need to be disciplined.

You tried to escape, but all of a sudden, you find yourself making the provision for the flesh. One thing led to another, and after it’s over, the remorse sets in.

Once again, you cave in to the desires of the flesh and the mind. In most cases, multiple episodes in one day.

I know. I, and many other men and women fell prey to the lusts of the mind the flesh.

How did God delivered me?

But first…..

Hopelessness sets in and there is an inner surrender to the will of the flesh and mind.

Hopelessness is not the end.

The mind enters into hopelessness when the mind deceptively convinces itself that there is no way out. Even when there is a way out, the mind refuses to accept a way out and self inflicted or self imposed banishment sets in.

For every believer in Christ, there is hope. The Lord promised this in 1 Corinthians 10:13.

In Mark chapter 5, Jarius’ daughter fell ill and eventually died. On the way to help her, the woman with the issue of blood was hopeless because she spent all that she had and she went to many doctors. It looked very hopeless for her until she heard of what the Lord Jesus could do. Her hopelessness turned into faith and while in the condition, she reached out to the Lord and received her healing.

While Jesus was conversing with the woman, some of the people at Jarius house came with some bad news. His daughter died. And they said to him…“Why trouble the Teacher any further.”

In other words, abandon all hope. There is nothing that Jesus could do.

Death has a way of stealing any chance of hope. It’s the same with certain situations in life. We honestly believe that when something happens, it’s beyond even the reach of God. That’s where faith shuts down and there is an acceptance of the conclusion.

First, you are still alive. So that is an indication that you have hope right there. Second, God never threw you away, did He? Third, the Word is there to help you, not condemn you.

There is a difference between making a mistake and intentional sin.

In either case, grace is the same, however, when we keep on sinning, knowing that the Lord will be gracious, we run the risk of assumption. The one thing that we have to be careful about is abusing the grace of God, or taking full advantage of the grace of God. God is all the time forgiving us; time and time again because it is His nature.

He loves us.

He knows that we are flesh or dust.

BUT there comes a point in our lives that we leave assumption behind and either live fully for Him or walk away from Him to live in a backslidden condition.

Remember what Peter said, you are to have and abound in “self control, perseverance, godliness.”

Then Peter said…

“For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble…”

Stopping the stumbling is in your court. At anytime, you can stop stumbling.

Now because you are born again, Galatians 5:22 says that “The fruit of the Spirit….self control.”

You have self control already within you because you are in Christ.

So, how did the Lord deliver me?

Deliverance is always in the plan of God for His people but the work was already done on the cross of Christ. The only thing that is left is accepting the face value of the Word of salvation, that is, working in our lives what the Lord already did for us by working the Word of God.

Simply put, it’s called application or practice what you preach. Preaching is good, living what is preached is better. “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God” but doing is now required to show your faith. It is now a matter of taking what you received by faith and manifesting the required expected action.

Jesus said, “If anyone hear these saying of Mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock: and the rains descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, and it did not fall, for it was founded upon a rock.”

As James said, As the body without the spirit is dead, so then faith without works is dead also.”

Just like when we receive money, we know exactly what to do with money. We either save it or we spend it. Well, the Word of God is the same way. When we read the Word, we put the Word to work.

If you do not want to fall any more, be like a wise man, build your house on a rock and when the storm comes, you will not fall. What did this man do to be called a wise man? He heard the Word and He did the Word.

Remember, Peter said that we are to “add to self control, perseverance.”

It’s now a matter of developing self control through constant and instant application to the Word of God in perseverance or patience.

Perseverance is patience under extreme conditions.

The Greek word for perseverance is “hupomone” and it means “a remaining under.”

You are not willing to walk away prematurely. You choose to remain under. Just like when the storm passes, to stay protected, you remain under cover. It takes discipline to remain under.

If you recall the parable of the sower, (see Luke 8), the ones that are on stony ground are the ones, upon hearing the Word, received it with joy but they endure for a little while and when temptation comes they become unfruitful. But Jesus continues and says….

“But the ones (seed) that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.”

The word “patience” is the same Greek word translated in 2 Peter 1, “hupomone.”

James chapter 1 says… “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the trying of your faith produces patience, But let patience have it’s perfect work, that you may be complete, lacking nothing….Blessed is the man that endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”

The word “patience” is the same Greek word translated in 2 Peter 1 and Luke 8:15, “hupomone.”

The reason why we fall into sin is because we do not give the seed of the Word time to grow roots. The stony ground is indicative of an heart that is impenetrable. The seed can never penetrate hard places. All seeds needs good soil or good ground so the sower could plant it in the ground in order for it to grow.

But this stony ground is also indicative of an impatient heart. We fail to let the word have enough time to get deep into our hearts.

Look at the Scriptures above again and you will note that various trials and testings will come. Make no mistake about it.

But what is the goal? To pull you away from Christ. But also “that the testing of your faith produces patience.” So you must recognize that the testing of your faith is constant.

Everything is a test. You will not go on to the next lesson in life until you pass the test. If you wonder why you are left back on the spiritual grade level, it’s because you haven’t passed the test yet.

Pass the test and you can move to the next grade of glory.

You won’t know how to recognize and keep yourself under the Word of patience and perseverance if tests and trials do not come your way.

The mind and the flesh has to be disciplined if you are going to stay in Christ.

What it all boils down to is perfecting obedience regardless of how bad the mind wants pleasure and the no matter how bad the urges and impulses get. To deny the flesh is a very tough thing to do because the flesh always wants to have its way but when you are in Christ, the flesh must be denied and disciplined.

That’s why it takes patience, perseverance. Then the Word says…“godliness.” Godliness is respect or reverence of God.

This is how I was able to work with the grace of the Holy Spirit to incorporate self control, perseverance, and godliness.

In 1 Corinthians 9:27. Paul said,

“I discipline my body and bring it under subjection…” and “cleansing myself from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”

We will never escape the presence of sin while we are living on this earth. But we, like Paul said, are to “reckon ourselves dead indeed to sin, but alive unto God.”

Repentance: How Many Chances Does God Give Us?

Many of us just cannot seem to put an end to sinning against God and His Word.

Is it because we have developed such a bond to the sin we love that to break off the “relationship,” our mind tells us that we are crazy?

Then we pray for God’s forgiveness. We ask Him to cleanse us. And we feel that we’ve appeased God and we think He is no longer on the path to judge us. We wear out 1 John 1:9 and 2:1-2.

Just in the passage alone, we find a “loop hole.”

But is it?

Read verses 3-6 and you will find that the Lord is deadly serious about sin.

We find ourselves sinning that same sin again and praying for forgiveness. And we try to hold God to His Word in the verses preceding verse 3. Then the accountability verses are staring at us in the face.

Now what are we to do?

Hopelessness sets in and we banish ourselves to the dungeon of remorse.

By the way, godly sorrow works repentance, that leads to salvation, not to be regretted. Repentance is the beginning stage of freedom from the dungeon.

You look at the word dungeon and you see the word dung. We know that this is human excretion. When prisoners are chained and gated in these places, there were no bathrooms, commodes, toilets. They did their business right there in the cell.

Hence, dungeon. And we, in similar fashion, when we sin, we are prisoners of sin until we accept the freedom forever from the power and guilt of sin.

The unregenerate mind, the un-renewed mind. The rebellious mind doesn’t want to please God. It is so caught up in getting mental pleasure and satisfaction. The insatiable desire to sin is not all powerful. The desire to sin was crucified on the cross of Christ. What makes sin powerless is the victory that Jesus achieved for every man.

The mind and the body must be convinced that God, through Christ, did everything to help us overcome sin and the devil’s temptation, as well as working in the Word, the power of God to overcome sin every time.

Paul said, “Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not!

The Living Bible, a paraphrase Bible, not a word for word translation, says it this way…

Well then, shall we keep on sinning so that God can keep on showing us more and more kindness and forgiveness? Of course not.

But the Living Bible continues to give us powerful insight about our new birth experience…

“Should we keep on sinning when we don’t have to? For sin’s power over us was broken when we became Christians and were baptized to become a part of Jesus Christ; through his death the power of your sinful nature was shattered.”

That’s the whole key to being born again. We do not have to keep on sinning when the power of sin and the power of our sinful nature was “shattered.”

Look at Isaiah 53:5…..

“For He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised (crushed) for our iniquities, the chastisement (the beating He took) for our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes, we are healed.”

Look at Hebrews 4:15-16…

“For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.”

Jesus was tempted with everything we are tempted, so He knows what we go through. He is not aloft or out of touch with what we go through. Remember, He was born with flesh. He was tempted by the devil for 40 days and even afterwards He was tempted.

His only place of peace was in solitude with God in the mountains in deep prayer. In some cases, all night long. But the Lord knows what you are going through. That’s why He took away the power of death by living free of sin Himself to prove that we, too, can live free of sin.

This is not about being perfect. This is about having perfect hatred for sin on God’s level. When you hate sin like God does, you are destroying the reason to sin.

If the plug is pulled on an appliance, it cannot work. Take a battery out of a car, it cannot start. Take the life out of a body, it is dead.

If you are not shouting by now, something is wrong with you.

The sacrifice of Christ, once and for all, eradicated every once of power that sin had over us. The urges and impulses to sin are still in the flesh. However, through the new birth, we…

“…come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

We rely on the Lord who is “…faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make a way of escape, that you may be able to bear it (the temptation).”

See, temptation is just an offer that can be refused every time. You have the Lord, who is faithful and will never let temptation get beyond your ability to resist.

James 4:7 says…

“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

The Amplified Bible puts it this way…

“So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you.”

You see the sequence?

When you choose to submit to God, then resist the devil, you are putting yourself in total obedience to the Lord. That’s the only sequence that causes you to have victory over temptation every time.

For instance, when the Lord tells you to turn the channel on the remote. Do you submit or do you rebel? You can’t resist if you are in rebellion. The Lord is giving you a way of “escape” and you take that escape route to evade falling into sin.

James 1:2-4 says…

“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”

When temptation comes, it tests your faith in God’s faithfulness. But if you let patience have it’s “full play,” God will not allow the devil to tempt you beyond your ability to resist. So when the temptation comes, learn to let patience kick in. Just wait and let God calm your nerves down.

Give the Word time to work in you.

Do not be quick to walk away from the Word. Let the Word do the work in your heart and mind, subduing the flesh.

That’s why the believer falls into temptation. He refuses to submit to God.

When I make some comments on the Internet toward LGBT and their sympathizers, they always accuse me of “hiding behind the Bible.”

Calling the Bible “a crutch.”

That’s what gives us the victory. The Word is the only place where victory is achieved. And instead of sinners and sympathizers of sinners doing the same, they are the ones caught in the web of sin.

And just like wines and spirits (evil spirits), the drink goes down smooth but in the end, it bites.

Revelation 12:11 says…

“and they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…”

The word of their testimony is the fact that God’s people take the Word of God and apply it to their lives and that’s what gives us the victory over temptation every time. For every temptation there is a way of escape planned and all we have to do is submit to God in complete unquestioned obedience.

Listen to 1 John 5:3-5…

“For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world- our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.”

So when we are hearers and doers of the Word, we are living our faith in Christ out and this is the victory that overcomes the world. When you see the word “world” look at Ephesians 2:2…

“in which you once walked according to the course of this “world,” according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience…”

The devil is the prince of the power of the air and he is the one that is dictating the course of this world. To break free of course of this world, you must be born again. Remember, Jesus destroyed the power of sin on the cross. So the prince of the power of the air has absolutely no power over you.

Look at what Paul said in Romans 8:1-2….

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those that are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.”

As long as I obey the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, I am free from the law of sin and death. That means that the devil cannot enforce his law over my life because I am not in his kingdom.

The only time that his law of sin and death works is when I free myself from the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.

The only thing that the prince of the power of the air can do is tempt you and because God is faithful, the devil cannot turn up the heat when the initial stages of resisting are successful.

In other words, he cannot push you beyond what you are able to resist because God will not let Him.

Now how do we submit to God?

Paul gives us a very powerful word in Romans 6:13.

“And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.”

The verses 17-19…

“But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness.”

So you apply the Word every time and you do something different with your members.

You do something different with your hands, your eyes, your feet, your sex organs. You do something that takes you away from sin by submitting to the Word of God. You listen to the Holy Spirit that is able to show you how to escape. You flee sexual immorality. You go in another direction. You change the subject in your mind. You think and meditate on God instead of meditating on sex.

Now the question was asked…

How many chances does the Lord give us?

God’s compassion, love and grace is there to help us overcome sin, not to abuse His love, compassion, and grace. We are not perfect but we can have perfect hatred for what the Lord hates and have perfect love for that which He loves.

Because He is clear about sin.

Now we all know what 1 John 2 is about but many believers stop there. You see, every time that we sin, we are practicing lawlessness. We are practicing the deeds of the devil and we are allowing the old man to still have a say in the new birth.

When we do not put it all together to experience victory over sin in our lives, the devil is helping us live defeated, deceived lives. There comes a point where we have to stop and think a moment.

We have to put an end to sin in our lives so that we do not abuse God, and live below standard lives.

Let’s stop the abuse and treat the Word with respect and dignity.

Repentance: Changing The Bible Rules On Repentance; Too Proud To Repent

Do we really know what it means?

Do we really have a clue?

I watched a video that was posted on FB that was disturbing.

A group of pastors sitting around discussing the sin of homosexuality, how sin is all in their churches. And they have compromised, capitulated, and conceded defeat to the devil.

One said that if weren’t for homosexuals, there would be no music. Another said, that he didn’t have a problem with homosexuals in leadership so long as they were “repentant.” Another said that this sin is from the pulpit to the door. One pastor kept using the word “slip or slipped up.”

We’ve gone from an Eddie Long train wreck, to mistake, to slip up. When will we call it sin? Because sin demands repentance, confession, forsaking or laying aside sin, forever.

Filled with a lying spirit, heretical Carlton Pearson said that if homosexuals don’t come to church the church would be empty.

Well at least the church would be clean.

What kind of stupidity is that?

There is no conviction of the Holy Spirit. Get it? HOLY SPIRIT.

Holy Spirit left an unholy place.

If you are comfortable with sin, you are uncomfortable with God and His convicting Word.

Let me point something out. God wants all sinners, practicing sinners to come to the church but not to be comfortable with their sin.

With carnal sinners this is what happen in our churches; you to upchuck vomit and then eat it again. And then upchuck the same vomit and eat it again, sometimes smiling.

Turn from your wicked ways. He didn’t say keep on turning.

As I was talking with my brother in the Lord, Pastor Darren Butler, of International Good News Fellowship, both he and his lovely wife, Pastor Patricia Butler are the pastors there and by the way, it’s rare to find a pastor who happens to be a holy, sanctified, consecrated, married, music minister.

He said when the world takes one step forward, the church takes three steps backwards. Any way he started talking about hell. And it struck me further that the church is off message.

“There is no fear of God before their eyes””,” the Bible says as Pastor Roger Jamison would quote.

They think hell is comfortable. Hell is nothing but torment that awaits them. We warn them that hell is not a comfortable place.

It burns with fire and brimstone forever. Wickedness was paid for at the cross on the body of Jesus. His sacrifice is the only sacrifice that will save a person from hell.

They are not convicted of sin.

This sort of concession is the very thing that must be avoided.

Just because the people fail to live according to the Word it doesn’t mean that the Word failed.

Stop tripping.

A spirit, a lying demonic spirit entered their mouths and they are now lying devils like a dog by the fire place. You can’t confront sin because some of them look like they are in the sin themselves. If not homosexuals themselves, they are definitely in some form of self gratification, fornication, masturbation situation.

I wonder how they would exegete John 5:14, 8:11, Romans 6:12-14, 1 John chapters 1 and 2, and James 4:4.

It seems that not one of these so called pastors had their Bibles. No one opened up the Scripture to see what the Word said. Not one of them.

You know what is next?

They were wise in their own eyes.

I don’t know how recent the video was made but these pastors were pastoring churches in the Tidewater area of Virginia or it’s vicinity. If you know anything about the Tidewater area, it’s Norfolk, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Hampton Roads, Virginia Beach.

If you are in the Tidewater area, AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

You think I am joking. Click this link….http://youtu.be/oiAx6ingTTM

For the most part, we know that at the beginning, when sin was introduced, Adam and Eve never repented. All they had were excuses.

Sin by Adam and Eve:

Adam and Eve: Oh oh. We naked, let’s cover ourselves. Oh man…what are we gonna do… God is coming…quick, let’s hide over there.

God: Adam, where are you? Who told you that you were naked?

Adam: “The woman You gave me.”

Eve: “The serpent beguiled me.”

The devil had no excuse.

He left the serpent to be punished but we know in ear shot, the Lord made sure that the devil got his in Genesis 3:15.

In all of this, there is only remorse and excuses.

Not even a hint of “godly sorrow that works repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted…”

There is no other way to deal with sin.

People caught in the grips of sin are always looking for a loop hole to continue in sin but there is no loop hole when it comes to sinning against the Lord. Yet, we try so hard to make a way to find a place where we can sin and make God accept it.

God is merciful but God isn’t stupid.

God is gracious but He isn’t stupid.

There are many people that call me and several other people “Pharisaical.”

Or that we are “self righteous.”

For 33 years, I committed the sin of masturbation. For 10 of those years, from 1998 to 2008, I was a porn addict that intensified the fuel and fire of sexual addiction in my flesh. Since the call of God upon my life on Saturday, September 7th, 1979 till 2009, the sin of masturbation dominated me.

And because I made provision of the flesh by returning to the vomit, masturbation relapse occurred. It’s because I was stupid and didn’t apply the Scriptures. Then the Lord said to me, Remember to “put it all together.” Love Me and hate sin. And you will never sin that sin again.

Put it all together means put what you heard from God to work on all cylinders.

Level one sex addict.

Guilty as charged.

Entering the pulpit, was a pastor that couldn’t repent but found a way to abuse God and His grace.

You can’t preach about holiness with lust in your heart.

You won’t preach about holiness because you can’t. So since you can’t preach about holiness, you cannot expect the people to live holy. So they enter the church and are comfortable about it. You know that your sin is safe because the pastor’s sin was safe.

I never really preached on righteousness, except the perverted way of connecting walking in righteousness with prosperity ONLY, not with pleasing the Lord in walking in holiness, which is complete separation from living the way the world walks.

Righteousness is not about a reward system for being a good child of God.

Righteousness is about standing right with God. Righteousness is about right thinking of God. Righteousness is about relating rightly with God in spirit and in truth. In unbroken fellowship with God. Not on the level of Adam but on the level of how Jesus relates with the Father.

The relational revelation of the Father and Son is an eternal example of what the Lord desired in man.

You can be in the world but not of the world. Jesus proved that point (see Luke 4:1-13, 2 Corinthians 5:21 and Hebrews 2:17-18, 4:12-16).

When you repent and break free of these things, the power of God is always there. Not to enter sin again but to help me to be free from it forever.

It’s just that I never repented.

My sexual needs were more important than the God of my salvation.

My love for masturbation and lusts of the flesh drove my every move.

I didn’t care about how God felt because my needs were more important than His will.

What was important was that I got off.

Excuse after excuse fueled my passion for fulfilling the desires of the flesh and the mind. This hypocrisy was going to end one way or another. Either in continuation of ministry in righteousness or in Pharisaical hypocrisy.

So if anyone wants to call me a Pharisee, call me one because my righteousness didn’t exceed the ones the Lord Jesus talked about. If you are going to call me a Pharisee, call my one because I was a hypocrite. But if you are going to call me a Pharisee, it can’t be because I now live the truth about the Word of righteousness and now can command with all true Biblical authority people to repent and leave their sin behind according to Hebrews 12:1.

Recently, the accusation of being a Pharisee was a clear indication to me that when you are dealing with exposing sin, you will be called some things that make you scratch your head. Peter did say do not be surprised when you are persecuted because of doing right. Never suffer persecution as a murderer or thief.

When you are dealing with sin and repentance, preachers are held to a higher standard.

There are many pastors that watch many people come to church in search for help. Deliverance from SSA, adultery, fornication, pornography, masturbation, bisexuality, and fetishes of a sexually perverted nature. There were stories of women that were in adulterous relationships with their pastors and they refuse to break away. They know that they were home wreckers but they never find the place to repent and break the soul tie.

Their supposed world of love and connection to a male was more important than being connected to God. And fearing a disconnection, it would plunge them into the despair they seemingly came out of. The fear of loneliness and the feeling of low self esteem because they believe the lie of unattractiveness, pressures them to pursue an “anointed” man of God.

First, it is sin. God is grieved.

Second, never mind your personal needs. You hurt God.

Your needs is your needs, but God was violated. You need to start by repenting. Then to make your repentance real, pack your things and leave that pastor or whoever. Shacking up has nothing to stand on and is unjustified.

Sin can never be justified.

Sin will cause you to bust hell wide open.

Your needs take a back seat to the heart of God and His Word.

You were not created for your personal pleasures. You were created for His pleasure because Revelation 4:11 says, “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by your will they exist and were created.”

We were created at the pleasure of the Lord.

In the book of Ezra, the nation of Israel came out of captivity and they brought foreign wives with them. The men were told to put them out. The recognized that they needed to put God above their needs and feelings.

The foreign women were put out.

To please God, there are things that you got to put out to make things right with God if your repentance is going to be real.

The rules of experiencing the power of redemption always begin with recognizing that you hurt God.

You violated the Word of God for sin is lawlessness. You took advantage of the grace of God and revolved. You weren’t serious about breaking free. You were just trying to find peace from the conscious fact that you sinned.

That’s why He put it in the Word of God because no matter how many ways you come up to try to have it your way and disregard God’s way, what is going to stand at the end of the day is three things.

1. God is faithful to His Word.

2. God never changed.

3. God never lied.

That’s why man is always trying to discredit the Word because if you can discredit the Word, you can discredit God but at the end of the day, the Bible stays the same.

The God of the Bible and the Bible was here before us and they will be here, should Jesus tarry, after us.

Today, we see the same thing.

We see that error was done and people are forced to render an account or act so big to repent.

We look to excuse our way out instead of repent.

Does this sound familiar JCAAPB?

When the earthly ministry of the Lord Jesus was about to take place, John the Baptist, the forerunner of Christ, the “Elijah” that was to come both heralded the message.

We rarely hear this in our pulpits because we preachers are scared to tell people that they need to repent. In a nutshell, repent means, to turn. But what we have done is that we are provided elasticity to repentance.

We look at one portion of Scripture and we say, “It says this but I don’t think it means that.”

Since when we are allowed to change the meaning, the contexts, the way the word “repent” is used in the Bible?

Who in the world do we think we are?

Granted, we all have sinned or fall short of the mark but when you hear preachers and pastors sit around and expand the definition of repentance, we are in trouble.

In Matthew 15, the Lord said that the Pharisee changed the commandment because of their traditions. In other words, they decided that since the commandment is a problem. The spiritual leadership refused to enforce the commandment of the law and people were allowed to sin at will because the priests refused to do the law themselves.

Evidence was the message that the Lord preached in Matthew 13 in that He called them hypocrites. Living one way and intentionally living in sin.

For repentance to be real this is the benchmark of repentance.

Proverbs 28:13.

“He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever CONFESSES (1 John 1:9) and FORSAKES (Hebrews 12:1) them will have mercy (Hebrews 4:16).

They don’t preach this stuff like they used to.

But the Lord is raising up Course Changers that will not flinch or capitulate. Who will not bow their knee to Baal. Who will stand to please God and be true to Him at all times in unbroken fellowship.

Course Changers

Pretend Sex

Charisma wrote a good article about the affects of porn which could be read here…

In the article, there were many good points but the point that many of these kinds of articles leave out, perhaps, intentionally, is the habit of masturbation.

Masturbation is pretend sex.

Depending on the urges and impulses of the human, and the preference of porn, whether same sex or opposite sex, there is no way possible to extricate porn from masturbation.

Granted, a man could masturbate without porn but we all know that porn heightens the mood to act out sexually. It’s called mental stimuli.” The mind wants it’s sexual time too. The soul is always looking for pleasure and the further it looks into that satisfaction, the more depraved a person becomes. Except within the boundaries of two loving, caring, opposite sexed married persons.

Got to qualify these things these days.

Remember Proverbs 27:20?

“Hell and destruction are never full, so the eyes of a man are never satisfied.”

As a note, a known former porn producer said that the last frontier of porn is children.

In one instance, a man sexually assaulted a toddler.

A baby.

Depravity knows no boundaries or limits. When you say that you would never cross a line, in reality, that’s a statement of preparatory intent.

There are many that will argue about masturbation. And it ranges from “nothing said in the Bible.” to “Boy’s will be boys.”

Biblical inferences would be shot down in a heartbeat.

But what are the three things common with all masturbation?

1. Hands.

2. Eyes.

3. Thoughts- images self generated or film (still or motion) produced.

Remember when Jesus said….

“If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you…if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you?”

Then the Lord Jesus said this in Matthew 15:19…

“For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts….

The Amplified Bible says….

“For out of the heart come evil thoughts (reasonings and disputings and designs) such as murder, adultery, sexual vice…”

So out of the dark heart of man comes the thoughts to carry out sin. It is transferred to the mind and the body acts out what is thought of.

Without hands, there are numerous ways to achieve orgasm, but sex, according to Genesis 2:24, is to be shared with an opposite partner that you are married to.

The reason why I am mentioning this is that we all know the ill affects of porn but when we do not zero in on what happens when men or women watch porn, we are just circling the covered wagons and never actually make an assault on the problem.

I will not take the time to talk about all of the reasons why masturbation is against the “one flesh” principle in Genesis 2:24. I thoroughly covered the subject in many previously written blogs and on BlogTalkRadio.com/prevailingword1.

Sexual addiction rituals predominantly end in orgasm. That’s the goal, right?

To finish.

To finish what you started.

Now God created sex and sex is pleasurable. It’s the only activity that give pleasure with a serious face. But seriously. People are in bondage or enslaved to the urges and impulses of the flesh and mind.

And if we do not get into that place of utilizing as Dr. Mark Laaser puts is so powerfully, act out sexually in healthy meaningful ways, we run the risk of entrenching ourselves and never get the quality help to break sexual addiction cycles.

When you cannot control, manage, or stop sex, you might be addicted.

These three elements indicate that you are not permitting your urges and impulses to gain control over your life. In other words, you know what these urges and impulses look like and you recognize what you need to do to reduce it’s potency and power so that you are not driven by it.

Can you do without sex?

This is a very powerful question because if you cannot do without it, the disciplining process will never kick in.

Sex, as well as anything made on this planet is a servant. There is only One Lord God.

When you serve sex, you dethrone God. Additionally, you are also worshipping or at the very least, using the members of your body as an instrument to fulfill sexual needs. But what else are you doing? You may be hurting inside and you are using masturbation to heal deep seated wounds in the soul that only God, through His Word could heal. Masturbation and the process of euphoric sex sometimes is used as “medicinal properties” like being in a “Pharmaceutical.”

Yes, a person could become chemically addicted to the releasing of internal chemicals to the blood stream.

Perhaps, you are looking to reward yourself with sex for a job well done?

These needs are connected to how you are emotionally. When you cannot control your emotions, sometime you go down the path to fill the holes of love, self worth, value, esteem, and other emotions that is a part of your make up.

But all these are clear indications that you are out of fellowship with God and His Word.

Self intimacy issues reveal a lack of being intimate with God.

The late Dr. Ed Cole, the progenitor of the modern day Christian Men’s Network said,

“Prayer produces intimacy with God.”

All intimacy issues stem from one place. A lack of fellowship with God. No matter how many times you look at it, all you need to do is go to one place where man is lacking.

True fellowship with God.

To strive against sin with blood, as Hebrews 12:4 says, means that you didn’t pluck your right eye out, you didn’t cut your right hand off. Figuratively speaking of course. You didn’t do something radical enough to get you to stop. That’s what Jesus meant and that’s what must be done if you are going to break free of masturbation.

Whenever we look for common excuses to masturbate, you are not serious enough about pleasing the Lord in every way.

So my point today, is simple. If we are going to break an enslaving habit, talking about the ill affects of porn is not enough. We need to go deeper. We need to uncover what we do in secret, delve into some reasons that lead us to the source as to why we masturbate, and then look to apply the remedy of the Scriptures to finally break free.

Otherwise, talking about porn is basically a mute point.

LGBT/JCAABP: What Will It Be? Hypocrisy Or Truth

The events of the last few days could have had the right kind of finish. There is still hope but there is much work to be done.

“Except a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

This is the basis of any believer, leader, and church that name the name of Christ.

Anytime you begin to protect an institution and people do not recognize that they are wrong, they hate it when someone points out the error of their ways. Perhaps it was just a mistake, but it is turning out to be a costly, regrettable one.
Responding to any allegation or truth in eloquence is common when you believe in yourself and in your own message, that you can do no wrong. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. It leads to Elitism, Entitlement, Empowerment, and Expediency, the four “E’s” of ministry solidifying the house of pride and arrogance in leaders. Praise of God keeps this kind of pride in check.
What could have happened? Some humility.
Bishop Ellis could have said, “Folks, a grave error was committed. A laps of judgment opened the door for known homosexuals to take advantage of our organization.”
Or they could have stopped them right at the door and tell OC Allen, you need to repent and we can help you get right with the Lord if you so desire. However, if you insist on living in the sin of homosexuality, until you repent, we can only offer you Jesus because in sin, you do not know Him.Just image a powerful outcome such as this. But, alas, what happens.
A counter attack against the truth of the Word from GCMWatch.
Sometimes, folk, especially leaders, can’t see God coming with a big red hat on.

Having said that, a couple of lessons come to mind.

Lesson One: Never put out a common statement that lines up with the Bible and then turn your back on it.

In a flurry of blogs, in particular from GCMWatch, and, allegedly, after watching an unprecedented episode of strong arm tactics by a known practicing homosexual, OC Allen against the Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops, we have watched the leader of this organization, Bishop Delano Ellis, use every bit of influence and eloquence to quell the raging sea.

The stormy perverted seas of LGBT in the church.

Notice that I said, in the church.

From within the ranks of this organization, we have seen individuals speak their minds about confronting “fraudulent” or “fake” Bishops that enter the ranks of the College. Such open discussion was on the Joint College’s FB page. It goes to show you that there are people that want to speak with their minds about the conviction of the Scriptures as opposed to upholding the institution. When a systematic shut down of those come into play, it is a godfather move to keep in fighting among themselves.

And yes, it shows that it is out of control but when the Word of God is not even brought to bear on why this was brought about in the first place, it is no different than preventing access, or revealing to the world what really happened, like Fast and Furious.

Is this anyway to behave as representatives of the Head of the Church, the Lord Jesus Christ? Who in the world are we trying to fool. Sadly, we have done a good job fooling ourselves that we are doing a great service. Only to realize that we have done a disastrous disservice to people that may want to be a part of a prestigious institution to provide credibility, safe association, and Christian fellowship, reflecting and honoring Jesus, our Savior.

The Bible, in strict obedience to God and His Word, is what gives a person and the church its legitimacy. And even if the supposed adherents fail to live by the standards of the Word of God, the Bible remains legitimate because of its Author. God.

He and His Word is final and absolute authority.

Any institution that claims to uphold the standards of the Word of God, yet, capitulate, only brings into question the integrity and credibility of the leadership of the institution. In other words, could they be trusted? And if I were to assume the credentials of the institution, will I be taken seriously or will I be a laughing stock?

Am I real or am I a clown?

Clowns do wear clothing but does the clothing represent the seriousness of an institution or is it just something to wear because people will not take me seriously anyway?

No matter your affiliation, if we name the name of Christ, we are to depart from iniquity. We are hurting because of these events but this is the time to make things right with God first.

The Bible is very simple and basic. In fact it is determined that the level of reading comprehension for the King James Version is high school 12th grade.

When the Bible is clear about sin and its only remedy, it is important to keep things very simple. Man is complex and takes too much pride in complicating a very simple principle.

The issue is clear.

Homosexuality is a sin.

Practicing homosexuals are not righteous. Just as anyone that intentionally practices sin is not righteous. Just in case you do not understand, I mean, a person that sins on purpose. A deliberate act of rebellion against the known will of God. Trespass. Lawlessness.

There is a considerable risk when you point sin out. People that love sin will hate you for telling them that what is pleasurable is a sin. But is sin really pleasurable?

First, sin disconnects a person from God.

So because God hates sin, we too, must hate sin. Sin brings death (Romans 5:12). So why would we love to do something that brings death? Because of the momentary pleasure, we delve into it, head long.

Second, sin is responsible for death. We die first to God. In other words, we, in sin, do not respond to God. And then we die physically to enter into eternity, with or without Christ.

That’s what the gospel of Jesus Christ is all about. To bring an eternal remedy to the spiritual malady called sin. Anyone that is in any institution that has anything to do with God and is not about church business, if sin is permitted anywhere in leadership or followship, it is a failed institution.

We already know that the leadership at JCAAPB capitulated on their stand against the sin of homosexuality. The damage control is in full swing. It’s now a determination about how to smooth out the rough edges of the story, maintain support, determine who is on who’s side, and reprove, and bring in line those that may have a mind of their own.

First, it is without saying that the side you better be on is the side of God.

“Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that the friendship with the world is enmity (hostile) with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”

Thank God that this is not OT times. All the leaders that offended God were hung (see Numbers 25:4). Nonetheless, the punishment is more severe. Especially when you know the truth of the Word of God according to James 3:1.

Second, the standard of God is clear. When we say one thing and then we do another, it is hypocrisy.

You call yourselves men and women of God. How about standing up for God for a change and let your institution fall if it had to just to insure you are dealing with a situation according to the Scriptures?

God will honor those that honor Him and His Word. The assault that was stopped in heaven continues in the earth, and now in the churches where sin is excused and not confronted?

This can’t be.

Not on our watch.

Lesson Two: Do Not Be A Hypocrite

Pity the leader that go out of their way to protect an institution while they walk away from the God of truth.

For years, l lived as a hypocrite. Every Sunday until 2009. While approaching the pulpit the Holy Spirit would impress upon my spirit that I was not right. I was a bald faced hypocrite. The sin of porn and masturbation, lustfully watching women and filing their “figure” in my mind to masturbate off of; raged in my flesh until the Lord said to me….

“Come Clean. Or be exposed!”

As I look back, I realized my role in facilitating sin in His church.

When we do not take sin seriously, we are perpetrating fraud. We are not who we say we are. We are not perfect, but we can stop sinning. We have been delivered from the power and the guilt of sin and we can walk away from temptation of sin with the help of the Holy Spirit and by strictly obeying the Word to flee sexual immorality.

Hypocrisy blinds the best of us and if we do not deal with hypocrisy, we will never be effective in reaching the world for the Lord Jesus Christ. Many sinners say that there are too many hypocrites in the church and depending upon where you go, they may not be lying.

What is important is how will they fix what happened?

It is important that we take the next step and make the necessary changes that pleases the Father God in heaven, on His holy throne, His Excellency, Psalm 8:1.

If you decide to make a stand against sin, you will not be loved. Whether by those in the church that live carnal lives or sinners in the world.

But stand against sin, we must.

Jesus paid a terrible price for our redemption. We dishonor the memory of Jesus when we sin knowing that He died to free us from the guilt and power of sin.

Arguing points of decision making is helpful for a “lesson’s learned” perspective, but the goal is not to score personal points. The goal is to restore the God of our Bible, and His Word to its rightful place.

If we fail to honor the Word of God we are no different than the Pharisees and Sadducees that circumvented the commandment of God with their traditions. In other words, they loved their edicts more than they love God and the Word of God.

For doing this, the Lord had a leadership sermon that is appropriate for today.

Matthew 23

The sermon: Hypocrites

When you put out a statement about the sin of homosexuality and you violate your own principle, embedded in the Word of God, the unmistakeable sent of dead fish fills the room.

If you want to bring honor back to an institution, we must honor God and His Word. The pain of losing sin and the sin of hypocrisy is much less than to be denied in heaven by Jesus. To know Him is to keep His commandments. Not when it is convenient but when it is difficult. In the face of all odds. When LGBT wants you to compromise and walk away from the God of heaven and earth for the pleasures of this world.

We can’t seem to understand that the quest to rule is as old as the beginning.

And OC Allen and his love for the sin of homosexuality is no different. He can’t be a brother Bishop because he is brother to satan. This is not character assassination or judging. This is calling a man’s sin out in the open and it must be dealt with in truth and in God’s love for the sinner.

“Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” is the message of the hour.

When we no longer command men everywhere to repent, what good is having a church?

This is the spirit of error and antichrist that is already in the earth. To stand against the righteous nature of Jesus is the spirit of antichrist or anti Anointed One. To live in blatant sin is the spirit of antichrist. Anti Jesus. Anti righteousness. Anti holiness. And you can only be for perversion when Christ is out of the way.

We can’t see that all satan wants is for sin to be legitimized, justified, and ratified by God’s highest creation. Because satan, a disembodied spirit, want complete expression of sin and what better way to do it than in God’s own creation.

A little humility would go a long ways to mending the fences.

What should we expect when leaders drop the ball?

Perhaps a suggested plain statement would help (without eloquence)…..

“Folks, we missed God on this. The events that led to this didn’t have to happen. We should have been more forth coming about these events, and we dropped the ball. No person that harbors sin in their lives and desire to be a leader should have darkened the doorstep of this institution. We repent and ask God’s forgiveness and mercy for turning our backs on Him and His Word. We ask for your forgiveness as we fall on our face before God. We endeavor to restore integrity and credibility by putting God and His Word first. We renounce hypocrisy in any form by being true examples to the believers in word, conduct, faith, love, and purity. To those that expressed concern about this institution, we join in your quest for the truth and we stand together to confront all sin, especially those that are trapped in the sin of homosexuality. We will work hard to help anyone in sin to come out of it by extending the gospel of Jesus Christ to them to deliver and set them free.”

So what will it be?

Hypocrisy or Truth.

LGBT: Secrecy And Silence; A Word Of Warning To JCAAPB

One of the things that we must understand about damage control is that when too much information is shared, there is a greater chance the truth will be told. And when the truth is told, somebody will look bad.

To prevent an exodus of people from lies to truth, leaders use coercion, secrecy and silence.

The power of truth is so that we understand the face value of a situation for what it really is.

The Spirit of God, in 1 Corinthians 12 is the One that bestows upon all the children of God the ability to have access into the very heart of things through the gifts of the Spirit. As a note, a person must initially be filled with the Spirit, with the evidence of speaking with “other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, to qualify to be used by the Spirit of God with the rest of the gifts of the Spirit.

Thank God that the Holy Spirit doesn’t exposé stuff unless it is absolutely necessary.

The gift of the Spirit called “The Word of Wisdom,” is a very powerful gift.

According to Howard Carter, from his book on the gifts of the Spirit, there are three categories of the gifts of the Spirit.

Gifts of Revelation. Gifts of Power. Gifts of Utterance.

The revelation gifts or gifts that show something are…

The Word of Wisdom. The Word of Knowledge. Discerning of Spirits.

The power gifts or gifts that do something are…

The working of miracles, the gift of faith, gifts of healing or healings.

The utterance gifts or gifts that say something are…

Prophesy, gift of tongues, interpretation (not translation) of the gift of tongues.

Now when it comes to the Word of wisdom, it has a lot to do with what is shown or revealed of events that have yet to come to pass.

The Word wisdom actually means “to have understanding or to become wise.”

When there is a revelation about something that must come to pass, you are better able to handle what is to come. If you knew that famine was coming, wouldn’t you prepare for it? It shows that you’ve wised up.

Agabus the prophet received a Word of Wisdom that prepared the people to help those that would be caught in this famine in Judea.

This advanced warning helped them to handle what was to come (see Acts 11:28-29).

The famine was revealed to him before the famine hit.

They wised up and made provision so they would be sustained throughout the famine.

The saints lives were probably spared.

Then there is the Word of knowledge.

This gift reveals things about past or present things concerning people, places, or things.

Then there is the discerning of spirits.

Discerning people is not discerning of spirits. In fact when you hear people say these things, they think that they are spiritual when that are spiritually immature.

This gift is sometimes used in conjunction with visions and dreams but primarily it is the uncovering of the eyes to see into the realm of the spirit the activities and interactions of people and demons. Some of you may remember when Elisha and his servant were surrounded by the Syrian army and his servant feared. Elisha asked the Lord to open his eyes. Remember, the OT prophets were called “seers.” The Lord honored Elisha’s request and the servant was able to see that the hosts of heaven outnumbered the Syrian army.

This is discerning of spirits in operation where you, by the gracing of the Spirit of God, can see into the realm of the spirit.

When the gifts of the Spirit are in operation, it should be a clear signal of intent that God is among you and He is letting you know that something supernatural is taking place. It is a deliberate, intentional act to get your attention. Just like when Jesus was at Jacob’s well speaking prophetically to the Samaritan living in adultery and she was lovingly exposed.

Too often, we get used to the utterance gifts that we forget the other gifts of the Spirit are available when the Spirit of God chooses to release these gifts to the Body to profit. And when these gifts operate and we fail to properly recognize, and identify the operation, we haphazardly think that God is not moving. That God cannot see what men do. And like The Preacher said, “Men’s hearts are set to do evil because punishment is not issued to them swiftly.”

We plan, scheme, and do things wickedly, thinking that we could get away with it. Such depraved thinking reminds me of when Gehazi, after Naaman, the Syrian was healed of leprosy, chased after Naaman to receive riches and clothing that Naaman offered to Elisha. Gehazi brought the stuff back and hid it in his tent, all supposedly out of the physical eye sight of the prophet of God.

Gehazi took a chance that the gifts of the Spirit would not operate. That’s what covetousness would drive you to do sometimes. You believe that God would not catch on to what you were doing. Sometimes, we need to quit before we get started when it comes to sinning against God.

Elisha confronted Gehazi and Gehazi lied about the situation. Elisha said….

“Did not my heart went with you?”

You do not know when and you do not know where but remember the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth…

Whatever is said in secret and in silence, the Lord already knew about it. Whatever plans you may have that is against the will of God, it will never come to pass. It was already brought to nothing in eternity pass. It failed before conception and manifestation. You do not want to be found fighting against God.

In the heart of the Father, the Lord already dropped a dime on you. It’s just that people insist on a perverted course to intersect with the destiny of destruction for all those that insist on running the red light.

Plainly. You are advised to stop, cease, and desist in your maneuvers against the known will of God. The fear of God must always be greater than the fear of man.

My point is simple.

No matter how many secrets and no matter how many people become silent, the Holy Spirit knew already and when necessary, He will reveal the truth. And if it takes the gifts of the Spirit to get the desired results of revealing the truth, so be it.

The purpose of the revelation gifts is to uncover that which is hidden. To release what is concealed. To expose what is intentionally obscured.

Now we cannot control the Holy Spirit and we cannot tell the Holy Spirit to reveal anything. The Bible tells us that…“But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all…But the one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.”

The Holy Spirit may or may not reveal anything but knowing that He is “the Spirit of truth” (see John14:17), we should never leave anything to chance.

When truth comes, not everyone will like it.

This is where loyalties are challenged. When the truth comes, will you side in with that which is true or will you side in with the liars?

This is nothing new.

The Garden of Eden was the second place where the lie and character assassination was born. Evidently, it was in heaven that the devil set out to dethrone God. The devil had to lie to himself to deceptively believe he could take God down, but he knew that he needed some help.

Having served in the Navy, the term of war comes to mind.

According to Von Clausewitz, war is the deliberate use of force to compel your enemy to submit to your will. When diplomacy and negotiations result in irreconcilable differences, to settle the issue, force is used to make the point.

Hence, a word of warning is issued to all who read this.

“The Spirit speaks expressly that the intent of silence and secrecy is well known to Me and think not that you will be able to conceal it from Me. Your lips have moved and your heart is known. Yes, it was known before I formed the dry ground and before I blew into the nostrils of Adam, the secrets of men’s hearts were already known.”

So before proceeding any further, it is highly recommended that there would be great caution before the next move is made. Once you commit and enter into the point of no return, the implications and ramification that will result of a failure to take heed will be too much for many to bear.

LGBT: The Joint College Crisis Of Biblical Integrity and Credibility

What’s really at stake here?

For now, allegedly, we have seen one man use a strong arm tactic (threat of a lawsuit) to obtain the right to wear an insignia of the Joint College of Bishops of the African American Pentecostal Bishops.

From Bishop J Delano Ellis, on the Joint College FB page, in response, he called O. C. Allen, a practicing homosexual, “Bishop Allen.”

There is no implication or guess work here.

It is clear by his own words that O. C. Allen is a “Brother Bishop.”

The danger that is presented is that many will now flock to the Joint College, knowing that because one person, in known sin, can obtain credentials, a legitimacy pursuit and acquisition will be easy to obtain.

And they won’t have to use a threatening lawsuit.

All they have to say is that…..

“You let O.C. Allen in? We know you will do the same for us.”

How do you think this will end?

John 15:1a and verse 6 says….

“I am the true Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away;…If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.”

Jesus said in Matthew 7:17-20…

“Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”

Regardless, if you are a non producing dead branch or a bad tree, the fate is the same.

You will burn in fire.

In both cases, the Father cuts off the branch or He cuts down the tree.

The fate is the same.

Into the fire you go to burn.

Sadly, this will not be incentive enough to change a person’s wicked ways.

Proverbs 14:12 and 16:25 says

“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.”

After viewing the Joint College’s 2013 FB site, several comments were made about the quest for truth and the “rebuttal” sent by Bishop Ellis.

Which you can read here…..

What gets me is that many of the comments fail to underscore any Biblical foundation as to why they agreed with the Bishop’s statement. And it is alarming because when you have people following you, the first thing that you have to do is discern the rightly divided Word of God, and discern whether or not the leader submits to Christ’s truth in the Word, Christ’s rule and Christ’s authority.

Sadly one person that agreed with Bishop Ellis’s statement is a pastor of a church called “Pursuit Of Truth.”

When you have people calling you “Excellency,” there is a problem.

And yes, it is worship. Sadly, people still worship everything and everybody else but God.

Psalm 8:1 says…

“O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth.”

It underscores the fact that Jeremiah 17:5-10 is in play here when people agree with the ill-fated position of admitting homosexuals into the ranks of the Joint College. I doubt if there is going to be a course change. Anything is possible though, because the Lord loves people and He wants His people to repent and remember Him as the only One that will bring legitimacy, provided, they turn from their wicked ways.

Just reading verse 5…

“Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord.”

According to Vine’s Expository Dictionary of OT Words, the word “curse” in his commentary said, “God alone truly “curses.” It is a revelation of His justice, in support of His claim to absolute obedience. Men may claim God’s “curses” by committing their grievances to God and trusting in His righteous judgment (cf. Psalm 109:26-31).”

Why is this reference so important?

Because anytime you trust in a man to bring you legitimacy, you distrust God.

When you have a group of people “agreeing” with sin, there is the problem.

It’s an “eyes wide shut” moment.

Jesus said, “…Seeing they may see and not perceive…”

Like a fish looking at the worm, not seeing the hook. Bait is designed to catch fish for dinner, and these people do not realize that they are on the menu.

The question again is simple.

What’s at stake here?

If a course change never happens, we are witnessing another institution fall to the demonic agenda of LGBT. It is their desire to destabilize and delegitimize Christ and His true church.

For me and others that follow the Word of God, this is an easy one.

The rebuke is issued.

I condemn and vehemently rebuke those that exalt man above Jesus. I condemn and vehemently rebuke all who claim to be in Christ, yet openly practice the sin of homosexuality or any Secret Sexual Sins.

Many would like for those that say something to go away and just pray for them. Believe me, since coming out of the sins of sexual immorality myself (watching porn and masturbation), it’s been my prayer from jump street. But every so often, we read about more perverseness and silliness. How church leaders continue to openly violate the Word of God and live in deep hypocrisy.

The worse kind of preacher is a hypocritical preacher. Especially when they planned it all along. In that case, it’s not hypocritical. It’s plain deception with apostasy written on the wall.

Many will say, we should just walk in love about it and let Jesus handle it.

Another tactic to silence the truth.

It’s like knowing that the bomb is coming and we let it go when we could have done something.

Romans 13:12-14 tells us that “The night is far spent, the day is at hand…”

More foolishness is coming and the Joint College is just a start of things to come.

The strings of the LGBT puppet masters are firmly in place in the leadership of the Joint College, unless they revoke the credentials issued to O.C. Allen, and reinstate their unequivocal support and pledge their full unadulterated compliance to the Joint College’s statement against allowing people captured by the sin of homosexuality to seek any office therein.

Until then, no longer legitimate and without credibility, the Joint College is another casualty of war, and this time, it’s a very big prize in the trophy case of church institutions captured by the devil.

And that, without any fight. The Joint College just took a dive.

You wonder if a “Gamaliel” would rise up and speak some sense into the minds of these people. Someone that has a little wisdom to offer a Biblical course change before it is too late.

Alas. More ministers, their ministries, churches, and whatever denominations that are left, may capsize when the storm of sinful pressure from the now spiritually acceptable church leaders of the brand name LGBT puppet masters.

My only question is that since O. C. Allen is already an ordained bishop, why don’t he make up his own insignia and start his own sin-filled denomination? Or, was it his intention all along to do it and he needed some form of legitimacy so that when he is ready, he will make his move. Just imagine a whole denomination of homosexual churches under his leadership?

Could this be part of the sexual immorality that may swallow the deceived, the very elect?

The infiltration by way of compromise is over.

Perhaps a new tactic will emerge. Only a matter of time. It may be time for a massive frontal assault and those that are not prepared to fight may not make it.

But the Bible says…

“Upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

As the late John Osteen once said…

“The devil’s best is not enough!”

I might add….Because we serve a God that is more than enough!
