My good friend and FB colleague, Pastor DL Foster, of GCMWatch and Witness Freedom Ministries has compiled a varied collection of what is happening in the world today regarding sexual immorality (Open Forum-NewsReal).
While there may be a lull in blogging on these subjects, these are times when the devil attempts to take advantage.
It’s just like in field combat when the shooting stops, it stops for a reason. Sometimes a retreat is not a retreat. It’s a regrouping to attack. It doesn’t happen all the time but that’s why we must stay ready to address the issues and be consistent.
GCMWatch has done just that.
As well as many of the other true believers that stand up for the eternal standard of the Word. The enemy wants us to stop or get bored. On the contrary. Ever vigilant and always on the look out, we press in and we will never quit until the Lord says so by way of His coming.
In answer to the above question, it goes without saying.
Regardless of the preference of sin you engage in, when you practice sin and sin is lawlessness, you cannot say that you love God and disobey His Word.
1 John 3:7-8, partial quote, says, “Little children, LET NO ONE DECEIVE YOU. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning…”
Jesus said in John 3:3, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Jesus said in Mark 16:16, “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”
John, the apostle of the Lamb said in 1 John 5:3, “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.”
Paul, an apostle of the Lord, said in Acts 17:30-31, “Truly, these things (idolatry) these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man (Jesus) whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”
Repentance comes out of godly sorrow in that you clearly understood that you sinned against God and you desire to stop. After repentance, the Holy Spirit changes your life to conform to the image of Jesus where you live a life free of all sin.
You go to a place where true believers teach you how to apply the Word of God (discipleship) to everyday living.
The work falls on the new believers to seek help from true pastors and true believers, in particular true believers that know how to help new believers navigate and apply the Word of God to build strength in the Lord to stay free of all sin. Living the crucified, overcomer’s life in Jesus.
Paul said in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10-partial quote, “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Be not deceived.
Neither….fornicators…adulterers….homosexuals….sodomites will inherit the kingdom of God.
Why did Jesus die? Jesus didn’t come to the earth so that you can continue in sin. He came to free you from sin, give you a new heart that responds to Him, and reestablish a relationship with the Father, through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ in a sinless relationship based on redemption, mercy, and grace.
NO gray area. NO excuses.
Therefore, no sin, including the sin of homosexuality is permitted in heaven. Ex gays are permitted, provided they repent and believe in Jesus. Ex sinners, made into the righteousness of God in Christ are permitted, provided they’ve repented and believe in Jesus, turning from sin forever.
And now…go to the site and be informed. But most of all, solidified and edified through the Word of God.
