David’s True Goliath; Secret Sexual Sins

The most destructive thing a person can do is create self deception through hypocrisy.

David wrote Psalm 51 after he murdered one of his most loyal warriors. David, a man after God’s own heart, murdered Uriah, the Hittite, because David committed adultery with Uriah’s wife and got her pregnant.

To cover his sin, he summoned Uriah from the battle to have him have sex with his wife. Uriah’s loyalty to David was something that David didn’t count on.

Uriah was sent to the front lines of the hottest spot of battle and was killed.

We see that Nathan confronted David with his sins.

Adultery and murder.

It was a pivotal moment in David’s life. David, by God’s help, was able to kill Goliath with one stone and Goliath’s own sword but the true Goliath of his life was Secret Sexual Sins.

Lurking within David was hidden life of urges and impulses. When you refuse to mortify the deeds of the flesh, when you refuse to kill, deaden, and deprive of power (see Colossians 3:5 AMP), you will succumb to it’s desires.

God gave David the kingdom from Saul who rebelled. It made Saul’s sin seemed like a trivial matter. In either case, neither one of them ended very well. Saul died in battle with his sons and David was chased by his own sons.

His only grace was a son born by Bathsheba named Solomon to sit on the throne of David. David wanted to build a temple for God but the Lord said that David had too much blood on his hands.

Including Uriah’s.

The deception of David had a lot to do with his undisciplined sex life and the four “E’s” of leaders should they walk in pride and arrogance.

Elitism, empowerment, entitlement, expediency.

Like David, when you have proven your ministry by killing “Goliath” and watching the Lord give into your hand enemy after enemy, there was nothing left to conquer.

Sexual immorality is a conquest few men now how to defeat. It is there that the true essence of a man’s heart is revealed.

Deception is the ability to mislead or cause people or oneself to believe an illusion.

During the Vietnam war by the coasts, a false insertion was a tactic constantly used by Navy Seals when they want to mislead the VietCong or NVA into thinking that a landing will take place and an attack will happen where they first inserted. The Seals would pull back and land at a place where the enemy would not expect them to ambush or capture the enemy.

It’s called the element of surprise and stealth by deception.

There are many pastors that live secret lives where they live in complete self deception.

They must first be deceived because they have to believe themselves that others will never catch on to what is really going on in their self concealed secret lives.

They believe that their image must be protected to further their ability to keep their sin alive. In the case of pastors with “mega churches,” it’s all about keeping his empire going.

If a “love child” resulted in his adulterous relationship, preaching engagements is about child support. When their sin is pointed out because of an unrepentant life, they will accuse others of “stone throwing.”

At the conclusion, it is not stone throwing.

In the end of that episode, if the men would had stayed around, they would have learned a very powerful lesson that Jesus gave to the woman caught in the act of adultery. The men didn’t walk away because they were wrong in bringing a woman caught in adultery to be stoned. They were wrong with having known sin in their lives and they were about to kill a woman without the man (see Leviticus 20:10).

And the lesson is not just about having mercy and compassion.

Go and sin no more.”

Why do deceived preachers and deceived people miss this?

“Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not!

Jesus no more wanted the men to keep on sinning than the woman.

He wanted them all to stop sinning.

So stop using a partial quote of that passage and employ the entire passage.

When you see them preach, it’s never about blessing people. Pastors in adulterous relationships will never flow in the Word because their witness and their relationship with God is unquestionably compromised.

And gullible, deceived people, knowing that they slept with “so and so” will sit under no anointing just to hear that “mand of Gawd.”

Just because we are human is no excuse to disrespect the Lord and the standard of the Word. “Holiness adorns Your house, O Lord, forever.” (see Psalm 93:5).

This is not about legalism. This is about what the Lord expects of His people according to 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 and 7:1.

It’s painful for sin to be exposed in the lives of sexual conquest minded pastors. When I exposed what I was doing with porn and masturbation, it was painful, but it was the path of least resistance.

I have no business in the pulpit today. The Lord did fire me but He rehired me to take this message of Secret Sexual Sins and Come Clean Stay Clean as far as He wants me to take it.

Preachers are to be trusted but when they twist and abuse Scriptures it’s because they are also attempting to deceive God and His people that caught on to what self deceived pastors are doing. Pastors that walk in self deception and intentionally set out to deceive others are disqualified from trust and are exempt from the protection afforded them in Psalm 105:15.

In confusion, people will still sit under these self deceived pastors because it’s no longer about the truth. Where else will they go where their Secret Sexual Sins are safe? Exposure or even the remote possibility of dealing with sin is the furthest thing from their minds. It’s easier to say, ‘He’s only human,’ Instead of siding in with God.

It is sin.

They make themselves out to think that the Lord is on their side when, because of self deception, the Lord refuses to join Himself to their lies. God is merciful and He still forgives and restores according to His terms, however……

“God is not a man that He should lie.”

“It is impossible for God to lie.”

When it comes to Secret Sexual Sins, the key word is secret.

A secret is something that should remain hidden from others.

How is this accomplished?

The anointing and spiritual talk that has nothing to do with the hidden compartments of their lives is how this is accomplished.

As you know, deception first occurred in heaven because satan deceived himself into thinking that he could successfully dethrone God. He conned one out of three angels (see Isaiah 14:12, Ezekiel 28:14-19, and Revelation 12:4). The next place of deception was the Garden that was east of Eden (pleasure) when satan deflected attention away from Eve concerning what the Lord said. When the deception was enough for Eve to further question what God said, the next thing that happens is a bald face lie.

Eve, unprotected by her husband was left to her own reasoning. Completely influenced by the devil’s deftly twisting of what God said, it became outright murder (see John 8:44).

As a result, all are under sin (see Romans 5:12).

Deception will always lead to death.

“…and sin when it is finished brings forth death.” James 1:15.

When you desire to accomplish revolving door sinning, it important for a person to continue to deceive him or herself by believing they could get away with it. After that, they must continue to believe it until one of two things happen.

One, they die in their deception.

Two, they acknowledge the truth.

For many, after years of living a lie of utter deception, it is too hard for them to reveal the deep parts of their lives. They refuse to Come Clean. To come to terms with truth because of an unwillingness to conclude that what they were doing all along was keep 100 plates on a stick spinning without letting them fall and break into pieces.

Such is the case with Secret Sexual Sins.

In the private lives of most pastors is porn and self gratification, commonly called masturbation. We do not have any conclusive evidence that David was a habitual masturbator. However, when it comes to urges and impulses, David was just like any man. He lusted after Bathsheba with his heart before he had her in the king’s chambers.

Speculation and preponderance is not where we need to go but if I were a betting man, David probably had issues with controlling his sexual appetite.

When it comes to covering Secret Sexual Sins, David went crazy because discovery would be detrimental to his image as a king before the people. He didn’t even consider God, which is the first Person David hurt. God gave him the kingdom and wives, yet, David treated God like as if He were a nonexistent Person.

The worst element involved in deception is when you no longer hear the heart of God but you act like God hears you and you act like He is on your side. Deceived pastors run down the list of alleged blessings and wave it in everyone’s face.

These deceived, adulterous pastors always say, “See, I did what I did and I accept responsibility but God is blessing me.” They rarely say, “I’ve sinned! I repent.” They never put it all on the table in measurable genuine transparency.

God will never bless our mess. He will forgive us but the seed we’ve sown must manifest a bumper crop harvest if we continue in the deception.

Even when they marry their mistress, some of them are so delusional that they call their mistress a blessing. Deceived pastors on this level will always deflect responsibility, never accept it.

In one case, a female predator in a church had married two other men and divorced them both. Both men were members of the same church. The second husband she married, after she was ordained into the ministry, reportedly backslid into the world, never to be seen again after pledging his love and support. She finally crossed the line by stealing a married pastor from his wife.

To say the least, his sin caught up with him. It’s boggles the mind when two sexual predators start hunting for each other. Such was the case in this church. They both were sexual predators before they “hooked up.”

As with all Jezebels, when they marry an able bodied pastor expecting to be established as a “powerfully anointed couple,” God will not allow them or their ministry to be blessed. There is no grace because they’ve abused grace. There is no anointing because the presence of the Lord will not inhabit the camp as an endorsement for their sin (see 1 Samuel 2:12-36 and chapters 3 and 4).

It may appear that others would get away with it but Ecclesiastes 8:10-13 is there to remind us that no one gets away with it.

No one!

God will not endorse sin and deception. With his life physically reduced due to a severe illness that almost killed him, it is just a matter of time before she will begin hunting for another abled body pastor.

This pastor, as an example, will only be used by God when he Come Clean about his entire life from start to finish.

There comes a point in time when you will be worn out by the deception and you will let all the plates filled with lies and deception fall to the ground and break. And with a downturn economy, things couldn’t be more worse for him.

Jezebels never marry for worse, for poorer, or for sickness.

Desertion is a tough pill to swallow.

Their only goal is to rule with an iron fist. They have no clue that it will catch up to them as we all know it will. In the end, all Jezebels die a brutal death unless they repent and Come Clean.

All of them.

Make no mistake about it.

Even in this level of deception, when she departs, he will not believe it.

Face it young pastor, a Jezebel is never worth the price of a bedroom romp. Young pastor, an immoral woman is the steps towards Sheol. Young pastor, you will be brought to a piece of bread and or lose your life.

If you are married, embrace your wife. Never embrace the bosom of an immoral woman. She is nothing but trouble. And you will never escape the stigmatization of being unfaithful (see Proverbs chapters 5, 6, and 7).

David crossed the line and had to figure out a way to cover his tracks. Deception, self deception, when acted upon will cause you to make irrational decisions. Again every lie that begins must have life if the deception is going to work. Running and chasing after every spinning plate (the lie) will sooner or later catch up with you. After the first crash, it is inevitable that all lying plates that is left spinning will come crashing down too.

It’s too much for a person to admit they were wrong.

Not realizing that the same effort to keep a lie going is the same effort that could have been used to speak and live the truth.

As long as they are unwilling to come to the knowledge of the truth, they will live in bondage to their sins of self deception to keep sin in their lives.

And anyone that attempts to speak truth in their dark places may receive the brunt of their anger and they will bite, and deposit venom into your veins in hopes that you would go away and die.

David thought that he was successful in keeping his sin concealed. As we read the story, we read it, not in real time. It was over the course of a few months, prior to the birth of the child that God had to bring a prophet in to confront David.

God does give us space to repent but that space may be long or short. It all depends upon the severity and how God deals with the situation.

David was judged. The child died because God would not endorse David’s Secret Sexual Sins. God would judge David’s Secret Sexual Sins in the noon day sun (see 2 Samuel 12:12).

What puzzles me the most when the people of God see their pastors Secret Sexual Sins exposed in the open or they had to step down, these same people have the nerve and audacity to use David’s sin of adultery and murder to deflect attention away from the severity of their pastor’s Secret Sexual Sins.

Folks, the worst thing in the world that you could do is justify sin.

These stories are in the Bible to remind us not to sin the sins of their time. Yet, people insist that their pastor is still as good as gold. Let, their good overshadow their bad.

Folks, David’s bad could have been prevented if he didn’t deceive himself. Believer, you do not want to be found on the wrong side of sin. Jesus didn’t die for our sins so we could continue in sin.

The deception is also borne out of hypocrisy. When you play like you didn’t sin, truth will not be on your side. The one thing that you can count on is love will always love and rejoice at the truth.

Being hypocritical about Secret Sexual Sins only underscores the fact that we are refusing to come to God on His terms to help us. Sin is very destructive. It’s not worth going to hell over.

So when you are confronted with people and pastors that cannot handle the truth and they always deflect away from the root issues of life, it’s because of hypocritical self deception.

David’s True Goliath was Secret Sexual Sins, but it’s root will always be found in hypocritical self deception.

Psalm 51:6 says,

“Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.”

It is in this Psalm that David finds repentance and restoration in His relationship with the Lord. It is there that deception could no longer provide a safe haven for Secret Sexual Sins.

That’s the true price of exposure.

To slay the true Goliath of your life, you must throw aside hypocritical self deception and take the pain of truth deep in the hidden parts of your life. You will find in the long run that you could have saved yourself a lot of trouble and misery by confessing all your dirt is the place where God takes a stick with leaves, dips it in blood and scrubs us clean.

Whiter than snow.

David was chased by his sons, lost his wives, and left the kingdom and this life “going the way of all the world” in disgraced. Yes, David was forgiven but the price and the episodes after his sin is not something that we are to emulate.

Solomon didn’t fair well either. The third king of Israel had 1000+ women. Sacrificed to idol gods. Sacrificed his offspring to them and died a disgrace because of sexual immorality.

Many people call that “finishing well.”

They were finished because they didn’t kill the real Goliath of their lives.

The Masturbation Question, Trigger Mechanisms: What Sets A Person Off To Masturbate?

We will be discussing trigger mechanisms and delve into why we do what we do. Paul said that it is a shame to speak of those things done in secret. He said it is a shame. He didn’t say that we can’t talk about it.

My only intent is to get men and women to see that the devil is out to steal, kill, and destroy the institution of marriage and married couples. He has no problem showing the world what he does through people on the screens and in secret. What we in the church do is that when a scandal happens, we run from the places where we need to go to completely expose the secret places of the hearts of men and women.

I have no problems sharing in this area because if someone gets free as a result, then I did my job. Hate me, throw me under the bus, been there before, condemn me, rebuke me. I’ve been there before, but the truth must be told so that others might be free.

Have you ever sat down and wondered after you watched porn, masturbated, and then came to yourself? Have you ever asked yourself a question like “Why do I do what I do?”

After over 33 years of being trapped in the bondage of self gratification, commonly called masturbation, I started to gain some understanding about why I do what I did. There was no question in my mind that during this time that what I was doing was sin. Again, many of you may not agree with me. I understand where you are coming from because there is no Scripture that tells us that masturbation is a sin.

However, for me, it was.

As I was watching the National Geographic Channel about Female Correction Officers, they would have to walk through a very dangerous section of the prison where they must check on the male inmates. Right at the time that the female guards would walk past the inmates locked doors with observation windows, the men would start gratifying themselves in full view of the female correction officers.

My point?

If masturbation isn’t a sin, would you engage in masturbatory behavior for all to see? That’s what male porn stars do at the end of their “show.”

We all know that it is lewd behavior. So how could your private self sex romp not be lewd? Your answer would be that because it is in the privacy of my home. Great answer but how will you answer lewd behavior?

It’s because the intense pleasure overrides all the guilt in the world until after you are done. Remorse sets in and then, the cycle begins again.

To recap a little on urges and impulses, the book of James chapter one gives us a very powerful point by point explanation of the effects of falling into temptation.

“But each one is tempted when he is drawn away from his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death.”

In everyone’s flesh, there is a preference for the kind of sin one will engage in. The devils assigned to your generation studies each person. They study you to see what your preference for sin is and then suggest to you where you need to go, and what you need to do to fulfill your preference. There are certain sins that a person will not do because it is repulsive, but the sin that you identify with is what you will engage in.

Hebrews 12:1 says, “…and let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnares us…” Notice the writer of Hebrews said, “…the sin…” We all have a preferred sin that we commit with no problems. The Word tells us to lay it aside.

My question to you is “Do you want to lay it aside or remain ensnared?”

You do have a desire to be free from every enslaving yoke of bondage. You are tired of remorse and desire true repentance. Godly sorrow works repentance leading to salvation (see 2 Corinthians 7:10).

Godly sorrow occurs when you are walking down the street and all of a sudden an overwhelming sense or a realization takes place that God was hurt by your behavior. You can’t help but let a tear drop. Or you are driving down the street and you sense in your soul that pronounced feeling that you are truly sorry for treating God the way you did.

Sometimes, this will happen over and over again. It’s not that you are repenting again. You are understanding the full magnitude of the grief that God experienced. But it doesn’t end there. What God does in that process is take you, supernaturally in His eternally big, loving arms and wrap you up in His tender mercies and forgiveness.

Like an understanding Heavenly Father, He understands your pain and heals you of the malady of false intimacy. He understands because we do not realize the magnitude of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. The only thing that we are aware of is that He went to die for us. All the while, He not only died for us, but Jesus took up on the cross with Him our agonizing, our addictions, all of them.

The Savior took upon Himself our transgressions, our iniquities. He was a Man of sorrows (anguish), and acquainted with grief (maladies, sickness, and anxieties). And yes, with His stripes, we are healed.

We can come to the Father, in Jesus name, to be healed physically, but our souls need that emotional healing and Jesus took upon Him our anguish and our sexual addiction to false intimacy. He took upon Him our compulsive habit to masturbate.

He took upon Him our hopelessness to be delivered. He took upon Him our stubbornness to remain in Secret Sexual Sins. He took it all away on the cross so urges and impulses no longer rule the way we live.

Every temptation is designed to lure you into the sin that you prefer to commit unless you turn down the offer and resist your urges and impulses. Now when you are married, your natural urges and impulses can be acted upon as a married couple.

As Paul said in 1 Corinthians 7, if you are burning with passions, it is best to find a wife or a husband, get married to lovingly release sexual tension. It is better to marry than to burn.

Then the rest of that Scripture in James says, “drawn away from his own desires and enticed…” In other words, the enemy makes it very difficult for you to suspend your desires by dangling flesh before your eyes. If the inner discipline isn’t there, you will yield to the enticement.

That’s why undercover Christian brothers do not mind going to a Beyonce concert. A Rhianna concert. An Angelina Jolie movie, or any other professional seductress. Undercover Christian brothers do not mind going to movies they know they have no business going to. The sad thing is their wives don’t mind either.

Once the desire has conceived. In other words, the decision to engage or make provision for the vision of fulfilling the desires of the flesh and the mind, sin is accomplishing only one goal. Separation from life. Death is a separation from life. Every time a child of God sins, a death is taking place. You are no longer associated with life (see Romans chapter 8:1-16).

However, thank God that the Lord made provision for us to be cleansed and forgiven (see 1 John 1:9). Not as a loop hole but to live in forever repentance (see 1 John 2:1-6).

Remember, Paul said, “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Once urges and impulses are identified, we now must identify our trigger mechanisms. What sets us off to start down the path to fulfill the desires of the flesh and the mind?

After the trigger mechanisms are identified, now you must employ the strategy of sexual discipline according to what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9:24-27.

When it comes to urges and impulses of single and divorced people, you must depend upon the grace of God to overcome, subdue, and exercise dominion over them so that you would not sin sexually.

Right behind understanding urges and impulses, like the saying goes, there is cause and reaction.

During the latter end of the bondage to masturbation in my life, I began to see that a series of things were occurring in my life that kept me in this almost never ending cycle.

When it comes to Secret Sexual Sins, it is important that the first conclusion is clearly understood. Otherwise, you will use certain events that happen in your life as a means of justification to engage in self justified self sex acts due to trigger mechanisms.

I’ll explain trigger mechanisms in a moment.

All sexual sins are sins of the mind and flesh. If we fail to discern that it is sin in our lives that drive us to do what we do, we will make up every possible excuse just to get off. I know that some of you love to separate the self sex act from lewd behavior however, the conclusion is always the same.

Your conscience is bothering you.

Your body feels good, but your soul feels bad.

For instance, when I allow my emotions to rule, I would always look for something to alter that emotion.

Case in point when the church my wife and I are pastoring isn’t growing or doing so well, I felt bad. It was a let down. Couple that with pressures of the secular job and major financial set backs and I was an emotional basket case. Always looking to heal the wounds of the day or somehow look for a place where I would feel good about myself.

I know what to do.

I will let off sexual tension to feel good.

Along with masturbation, I would bring fuel to the fire.

Porn, watching women, fantasizing about sex, and other forms of mental arousal to masturbate.

The trigger mechanisms that I have experienced may not be consistent with every man, but there is a common fuel.

Here I am, a married man that could have sex with my wife. And having sex with my wife should have been enough but I deceived myself into thinking that it isn’t enough because what I would also do is something that is completely unfair to my wife.

Porn and masturbation.

Porn portrays the women as picture perfect. They could do no wrong in bed. So, because you run the comparison, there is no way possible that your wife will rise to the level of a porn star. So an unjustified hatred of your wife drives you away from your wife.

When things go wrong in the house, or in the church, or on the job, the wife gets the unfair treatment that she is a part of the problem and you no longer want her. You want that perfect porn star that is just doing a scripted sex act.

When you are dealing with porn, there is a spirit of lust and anger. Those of you that do or no longer watch porn will note that while it appears that she is “enjoying” the sex, she isn’t. Little do we realize she is in pain. The man is abusing her.

Also, when you are watching the man, he is definitely going over the top by hitter her and penetrating to the point of unbearable pain. Most of the men that are performers appear to be angry and you can tell in the way they abuse women on the porn sets.

This same attitude is carried over in the bedroom of husbands and wives all across the world. Husbands mistreat their wives in the bedroom. It is almost as if a spirit comes upon them and it is because there are things that a husband will do that the wife will feel that he is doing something that made her feel abused, dirty, and like a sex object.

What was done to her was not pleasurable but disgusting and she feels that way simply because the same spirit that is in the man that watched porn came into the bedroom and he wasn’t acting like a husband, He was acting like that porn performer that is possessed with a spirit of lust.

A trigger mechanism is simply an event or thing that causes something to happen.

When it comes to trigger mechanisms, each person is different and will experience different negative occurrences in their lives that become part of their repertoire or ritual towards achieving either escape, sexual release, or medicinal properties to heal deep seated wounds of the soul that only the Lord is able to heal.

What is consistent with what was happening with me is that I would experience seasons of depression, despondency, and other issues that dominated my thinking. Instead of looking to the Lord and His Word, I would look to masturbation to temporarily ease the pains of the day.

What are the basic trigger mechanisms that starts the ball rolling?

These were the various trigger mechanisms would dominate my day.

1. Loneliness
2. Anger
3. Frustration
4. Despondency
5. Lack of Affirmation
6. Lack of Appreciation
7. Bitterness
8. Disillusionment
9. Disappointments
10. Envy
11. Jealousy

Other trigger mechanisms are potentially connected to sexual abuse episodes in the past. Past male child molestations sometimes are carried over by many husbands that never reveal these abuses for years.

Little do we know that these hidden episodes comes alive in the bedroom of many couples.

There are many trigger mechanisms that operate in man. At the same time, how we deal with certain issues will determine what we will do to deal with it.

For instance, in another area, the bottom line of life will always be winning and losing. Success and failure.

Dr. Archibald Hart, author of “The Sexual Man” once said, (paraphrasing) it doesn’t matter if a man is a success or a failure, he will engage in sexual immorality.

If he is winning, he will reward himself. If he is losing, he will alter his loser’s mood to feel better. If he is hurting inside, he will heal himself through masturbatory activities.

I noticed that in my own life. When I feel successful, I want to reward myself. Sex is the best pay off in the natural. There would be very few rewards in my life, so I concluded that I might as well reward myself.

The euphoria to reward or alter my mood by self sex is very compelling. You want to celebrate and the best way to celebrate in the natural is sex. You want to feel better the best way you can so sex is going to be the way to go.

When I feel like a failure or because of failure, I want something to “pick me up.” There is no greater pick me up in the physical world than sex. But usually, it’s short lived because reminders of failure returns.

Especially after your conscience tells you that you’ve sinned again. Therefore, excessive sex acts is just like overdosing on drugs. You are looking to run or escape like a fugitive from the pain of failure or loss.

When it comes to pastors in ministry, when success or failure comes, we could also be governed by the four “E” of ministry.

Expediency (which means “a means to an end, not necessarily a principled or ethical act.”

Whether you feel successful or a failure, if you do not love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, you will go down this path to commit secret sexual sins.

So when you identify your trigger mechanisms, the next thing that you must do is seek the Lord in prayer and find Scriptures to come against the trigger mechanisms. Then you begin to employ moment by moment discipline to never yield to urges and impulses, sinfully act out compulsive behaviors that negatively address your situation.

Remember, there is a variety of ways that the Holy Spirit will help you overcome yielding to temptation and using sin as a resort to deal with issues directed against your life. Jesus is the Master of your domain and life. By declaring the Lordship of Jesus through the process of prayer and the Word, you will gain the upper hand in defeating sexual temptations every time.

The Masturbation Question, “Urges And Impulses”

You do not have to look to the world to know that masturbation is a problem in the church among men and women. We do not need statistics for this because we all know that it is pandemic in the church.

Several years ago, as I was attending a seminar at Calvary Baptist Church in midtown manhattan, a young man stood up and asked a question about whether masturbation was a sin or not. You could hear a pin drop.

The moderator was taken aback by the question which was posed to him twice. He didn’t have a definitive answer and very politely brushed him off. There was no question in my mind that the young man was frustrated. I do not know if he was struggling with his conscience about it, but clearly, he went away without a definitive answer.

Looking back in hind sight, it was almost as if the Lord was warning me about what I was doing in secret. Up until that point, I didn’t know what the word “Masturbation” meant. I didn’t even bother to look it up. But I knew it had something to do with what I was doing as a young believer and minister in the Lord over 30 years ago.

There’s millions of people that is searching for definitive answers about masturbation. However, there is a vast majority of believers that will disagree about stopping masturbation and there is a reason which we will explore in another segment on this ground breaking series.

Again, there is no specific Scriptures that specifically state that masturbation is condemned. However, as I have pointed out. Just because the Bible is silent in one area, it doesn’t mean that we have permission to engage.

Can you control your urges and impulses?

If you are married, you can enjoy an normal sex life without masturbation, fornication, and adultery. As Dr, Mark Laaser has said, you can regain “sexual sobriety.”

It begins by understanding how to curb, discipline, and govern your urges and impulses.

Paul mentioned in Colossians 3:5 that we are to put to death your members which are on earth…” Then there is a list of sins that our minds and flesh desire to fulfill.

fornication- porneia. Vine’s Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words defines “porneia” as “illicit sexual intercourse.” It is safe to say that illicit sexual intercourse is between two persons of the opposite sex that isn’t married. If either of them were married, it would constitute adultery.

uncleanness- morals, suggestive of the fact that sensuality and evil doctrine are frequently associated. Out of religiosity, sexual sins could be reasoned as justified, such as the doctrine of Balaam, the Nicolaitans, and the doctrine of Jezebel. In most cases, uncleanness will have some connection to sexual sins such as the man in the tombs.

Interesting to note that while I was on a Metro North platform at Tarrytown in NY, there was a black apparently homeless man standing on the overpass. As I gazed in his eyes, I could see that he was obsessed or possessed.

But while he was standing there, he was masturbating. When I read the story about the man in the tombs whom Jesus cast out a legion of devils, he was described as naked, and could not be tamed. He would break the chains. He would cry out all night long.

He had unclean spirits. Obviously all devils are unclean but the devils that operate then as well as today in humans predominantly deal in the area of sexual sins. We all know that the lowest level of depraved acts are sex acts. In some cases, not in all cases, demonic levels of depraved sexual acts do occur.

Masturbation in public is exhibitionism and to suggest that it is a clear demonically inspired sex act is a bit over the top and rarely happens. Lewdness does take place but it occurs with people that do claim to have some semblance of normalcy. .

With depraved sex acts, especially when they are committed against women and children, this is different.

passion- aggressive lusts; excessive lusts.

evil desire- “to fix the desire upon.” Thayer’s, “To long or crave for.”

covetousness (which is idolatry)- “a greedy desire to have more” which is idolatry, the worship of false gods.

Please note that masturbation is not specifically mentioned here or anywhere is the Bible.

But what is the true driving factor of all masturbation?

It is found in four words.

Uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

If masturbation isn’t a sin, is there such thing as holy masturbation and unholy masturbation?

Remember, masturbation is self sex. It is an act done alone. As I shared in our last segment, the Lord said, “It is not good that man be alone.” To avoid masturbation was not the intended reason for the statement the Lord made. God created a compatible companion, suitable to his needs. Again, Adam and Eve were created perfect, in the image of God.

After the fall, things dramatically changed.

The rule of inference is applied because man will argue that since the Bible says nothing specifically about masturbation being a sin, then it is permitted. Very few men will tell you that they are thinking about their wives when it comes to masturbation.

Yeah right!

Not after a hot babe walks by you. Or you are walking by the magazine rack.

Men are stimulated by sight. We do not have to look long and hard at a woman. Just a slight glance is enough to file her in our soul for masturbatory use later. Sometimes, when we say that I’m just thinking about having my wife sexually, it is just an excuse to engage in manipulating yourself to orgasm.

Covetousness, which is idolatry, is the culmination of uncontrolled members that must be put to death.

When you cannot manage or control “urges and impulses,” it potentially turns into an addiction and Paul describes it as covetousness, which is idolatry.

Again, many of you may disagree and that’s fine. Here is something that you may need to consider.

Remember what the Lord said to the Samaritan woman at the well? The woman mentioned “worship” but Jesus mentioned true worship. The Father seeks for those that worship Him in spirit and in truth. What she thought was true worship was a cover for what she was really worshipping. The runaway “greedy desire to have more.” And she was willing to do everything possible to meet that need.

A need that is never met remains a need. With sexual needs, there are deep seated or underlying needs in both genders.

1. Love
2. Affirmation
3. Acceptance
4. Accomplishment or Success
5. Connectedness

All of these things are things that can only be satisfied in the true, spiritual worship of God.

When the Lord said, “You shall have no other gods before Me, for I, the Lord your God am a jealous God,” and when Jesus said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, This is the first and great commandment,” the Lord is letting us know that true satisfaction and love is found only in Him.

Psalm 16:11 says,
“You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

Therefore, if we institute a priority to worship God in spirit and in truth, we can control our urges and impulses through giving God our full love for Him.

When this is accomplished, it is very easy to put these members to death.

Urges and impulses are signals given throughout the body to do certain things.

When we smell food, hunger is aroused. Even if you are not hungry, the smell arouses the desire to consume. When men watch women, sight arousal takes place. Also, if a man is thinking about sex, arousal will take place.

Urges and impulses need to be governed. Otherwise, covetousness, which is idolatry, will take place. When you cannot stop these urges and impulses from gaining the upper hand, they control what you do. In other words, you plan your day gathering as much sensual information as possible from as many sources as possible for the finale.

There would be times that I would meditate on the Word of God all day long and listen to praise and worship music too. But as soon as I turn to the newspapers, walk by the magazine rack in most stores, lustfully observe women, or view women from still pictures of internet images, all that worship was for nothing.

God knew my heart. We men of unbridled lust are all on the king’s balcony overlooking the area where she would come out and bathe herself. We are not where we supposed to be in God. We stay behind to get that one glimpse that would fill our hearts and minds with evil desires, unholy passions, and full blown lust.

By the time I got home, I’m completely overcome with lust in my heart, mind, and flesh.

When you look to self gratification, fornication, adultery, or prostitution to fulfill a sexual desire, you are out of control if you cannot stop. This is unhealthy sexual appetites.

Listen to the Amplified Bible of Colossians 3:5…

“So kill (deaden, deprive of power) the evil desire lurking in your members [those animal impulses and all that is earthly in you that is employed in sin]…”

When I wouldn’t kill, deaden or deprive of power the evil desire lurking in my members, those animal impulses, it was a battle that I would easily lose.

Here’s why.

I was looking forward to fulfill the lusts of the flesh and mind. When it comes to the pleasures of sin, if you are not serious about the things of the Lord, you will override every prompting of the Holy Spirit to evade and avoid the trap of secret sexual sins. You will deny the power of godliness. You will set aside the Word of God to escape, just to experience the pleasure.

The intense pleasure of self gratification drove me to engage as often as possible. From self foreplay, to orgasm. While the desire to stop was always in me, the desire to fulfill orgasmic pleasure suppressed my desire to live in holiness, sanctification, and righteousness.

The pleasure was the hook. It kept me coming back for more and more. Just like Paul said.

Covetousness- a greedy desire to have more, which is idolatry, the worship of idol gods.

I frequently bowed at the altar of sexual immorality. I worshipped my ability to climax by masturbation and the images of porn and other women were being worshipped as well. I know that at this point, you do not think that masturbation crossed over into covetousness or idolatry. You honestly believe that what you are doing is innocent. It’s just a releasing of sexual tension. That’s all.

You vowed that you would never cross the line into the upper tier of sexual addiction level one. Adultery, fornication, and prostitutes. But that’s what urges and impulses is all about.

When it comes to the lusts of the flesh and the lusts of the eyes, Proverbs 27:20 says, “Hell and destruction are never full. So the eyes of man are never satisfied.” When it comes to false or substitute sex, the thoughts of crossing the line are always there.

And yes, whether you realize it or not, you are doing everything in your power not to cross that line. And to a degree, that is a form of control.

However, we know that the devil will always come back with that suggestion and there will be times when the temptation is greater than you think.

The line that the enemy wanted me to cross is to do porn movies. Don’t be so shocked. It was a very brief temptation because of the diseases. After getting delivered, and studying about these diseases that are out there, I found out that it’s a very full minefield. No matter which way you stepped, you will step on a mine. And knowing the way my life is, it would have been the first mine.

What am I getting at? Urges and impulses will drive every decision you make to fulfill false fantasy. Urges and impulses will always drive you to take the plunge into other areas to keep you interested.

Masturbation will no longer be enough.

1 John 1:9 was worn out. I was operating in remorse, not repentance.

Finally, how can we control urges and impulses? How can we deaden and deprive of power the animal impulses lurking within our members? How can we overcome an entrenched sexually pleasurable habit?

If you recall the first installation of The Masturbation Question, you must conclude three things.

1. You are violating the “one flesh” principle.
2. You are a born again child of God, therefore, you have no need for old habits because you are a new creature in Christ.
3. If Jesus masturbated, then you have every right to masturbate. If Jesus didn’t masturbate, then you can exercise the same sexual discipline of Jesus by conforming to His image with the help of the Holy Spirit.

We must understand the we still live in a flesh suit. As long as we live, we will always have urges and impulses. The Lord gave us everything that we need to exercise control over our members.

Rule #1. God placed within you the ability to control yourself.

Galatians 5:22 says, “The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, temperance or self control…”

Yes! Self control.

Within us is the ability to control ourselves by the power and aid of the Holy Spirit. You can stop. You can change. You can desist. You can defeat and bring into subjection all of your fleshly desires.

Romans 8:5-10 out of the AMP says,

“For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit.

Set your mind on the Holy Spirit. How? By listening to the Word of God and fully yielding to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. For instance, when you see a woman across the street, the Holy Spirit will begin to train your eyes and mind to look elsewhere.

That’s 1 Corinthians 10:13 in operation when the Holy Spirit is making a way of escape for you that you may be able to bear under the temptation. Remember, the Lord will not allow you to be tempted above your ability to resist.

6 Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever].

7 [That is] because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God’s Law; indeed it cannot.

8 So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please or satisfy God, or be acceptable to Him.

9 But you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the life of the Spirit, if the [Holy] Spirit of God [really] dwells within you [directs and controls you]. But if anyone does not possess the [Holy] Spirit of Christ, he is none of His [he does not belong to Christ, is not truly a child of God].

10 But if Christ lives in you, [then although] your [natural] body is dead by reason of sin and guilt, the spirit is alive because of [the] righteousness [that He imputes to you].

Rule #2 You can resist every single temptation through prayer and the Word of God.

Hebrews 4:16 (AMP) says,

“Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well times help, coming just when we need it].”

2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMP) says,

“But He said to me, My Grace (My favor and loving kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and complete) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness…”

Hebrews 4:12 (AMP) says,

“For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two- edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.”

James 1:22-25 (AMP) says,

22″But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth].

23 For if anyone only listens to the Word without obeying it and being a doer of it, he is like a man who looks carefully at his [own] natural face in a mirror;

24 For he thoughtfully observes himself, and then goes off and promptly forgets what he was like.

25 But he who looks carefully into the faultless law, the [law] of liberty, and is faithful to it and perseveres in looking into it, being not a heedless listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he shall be blessed in his doing (his life of obedience).

To win the battle of the urges and impulses, you have to set out to pray and do the Word on a “moment by moment” basis. You cannot let a simple innocent thought go unchecked. Every thought must be brought into subjection and then the body must be subdued.

By the power of the Holy Spirit, you can gain control over your outer man if you begin to apply these Scriptures.

The Masturbation Question

Non Christians do it.

Christians do it.

Why do we do it?

There is no specific Scripture that declares that masturbation is a sin.

This is the smoking gun or search for WMD that will never happen. However, when you have a series of harmonious Scriptures that declare a consistent principle, to interject an act whether sinful or not, is an attempt to circumvent a consistent principle.

If there is no Scripture that says that it isn’t sin, I can engage in the practice.
As I’ve said before on many occasions. Just because the Scriptures is silent on a particular subject, it doesn’t mean that you have permission to engage in the act.

The one other side that must be shared is that again, too many people condemn themselves when they are trying to break free of addictive or compulsive habits. The Lord knows where you are in your struggles with the mind and flesh.

The goal that you desire to achieve is to regain sexual sobriety as Dr. Mark Laaser puts it and regain control or mastery over your flesh by the help and power of the Holy Spirit, with measurable team accountability. As Dr. Mark Laaser shared, you want to rid yourself of unhealthy sexuality and regain healthy sexuality.

To condemn yourself as lost forever in the sea of lust is not healthy for you. That’s what the devil wants you to do. Declare yourself lost and hopeless. The search and rescue team the Lord sent for you hasn’t given up the search for you. There is hope, peace, and love that awaits you if you give Jesus, the true lover of your soul, your heart, soul, mind, and body.

On the other hand, there are those that do struggle but when you struggle to justify an act that is a clear indication that you are having difficulty with having a clear conscience.

If this is you, you will do one of two things.

One. Suppress the condemnation and conviction through remorse or…

Two, Repent and ask the Lord for the blood of Jesus to wash you according to 1 John 1:9 and receive forgiveness.

Conclusion#1. Masturbation violates the “one flesh” principle.

Genesis 2:18 “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”

Verse 24, Therefore the man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”

Matthews 19:4-6 “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and he said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh?’ So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”

Please note the that Lord Jesus added “and the two.” It takes nothing away from the original text in Genesis 2:24 because all Jesus did was qualify the word “they.” Jesus wanted to make sure that the word “they” is qualified to mean Adam and Eve.

Ephesians 5:29 “For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. For this reason a man shall leave father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”

Paul re-qualified the word “they” in Genesis 2:24 as Jesus did to make sure that you got it. “the two shall become one flesh.”

Therefore, the conclusion is definite. Sex is designed to be shared with two persons of the opposite sex in holy matrimony by joining themselves through sexual intercourse.

Let me add that sex is for pleasure and procreation. It is also used for bonding two persons together, thus securing the relationship.

So you have three witnesses that testify according to Deuteronomy 19:15 and 2 Corinthians 13:1, which speaks of the Witness Principle of Biblical Hermeneutics. God becomes an Established Witness. Jesus and Paul becomes a Confirming or Confirmation Witness.

Therefore, masturbation clearly violates the “one flesh” principle. You can’t become one flesh by yourself because God designed sex to be shared with two persons of the opposite sex in holy matrimony. Make believe physical contact, fantasizing about your wife while masturbating, and heart and mind adultery while masturbating is a clear violation of the one flesh principle.

Conclusion #2 You are a Born Again Believer, A New Creature or Creation In Christ
2 Corinthians 5:17, you have a new nature within you, the Spirit of Christ according to Romans 8:5-11, is within you. To masturbate when you are to be joined with your husband or wife, is a violation of the new nature of Christ within you.

Titus 3:5 “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.”

Romans 12:1-2

Substitute Sex- Dr. William Struthers says, porn is hijacking the brain and you are masturbating to an image in your mind that isn’t physically there. Masturbation is a sex act but it is a self sex act. Meaning that you are having sex with yourself that clearly violates the original intention and design of sex by God.

Remember, God said that it is not good that man be alone. Generally, men and women masturbate in secrecy. We will not cover lewdness as far as voyeurism is concerned. In case you are not aware of what voyeurism is, it’s self satisfaction in watching other couples having sex.

Now, let me say that there are some couples that masturbate in front of each other. Is that a violation of the one flesh principle?

I must say yes, because you are touching yourself and not touching your spouse. We could go through a list of sex acts but that would not be necessary and it would distract from the original intent of this series. To apply a list of do’s and don’t to sex acts would be bedroom legalism and it would generate more questions and add strife.

However, when it comes to porn and sexually generated fantasies, it is a false image or fantasy that you are masturbating to. Which would you rather have? A body or an image? If it is an image you want and desire, then it is idolatry.

Listen to Colossians 3:5 (NKJ and AMP)

“Put to death your members which are upon the earth: fornication (pornea) uncleanness, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.”

Pay attention. The only time something has to be put to death is that it was found guilty of a violation and upon conviction, the penalty of death is imposed.

“So kill, deaden, and deprive of power the evil desire lurking in your members [those animal impulses and all that is employed in you] sexual vice, impurity, sensual appetites, unholy desires, and all greed and covetousness, for that is idolatry (the deifying of self and other created things instead of God).”

The Lord said, “You shall have no other gods before me.”

Now this is where we get into an outstanding Scripture. Remember when Jesus confronted the woman at Jacob’s well? She had how many husbands? 5. And the Lord told her that the one she was with wasn’t her husband. The conversation started with water, covered worship, and ended with an exposure of her sins.

What the Lord was doing was showing her that true intimacy can only be acquired through worship of God in spirit and in truth. The water that you are drinking (sexual immorality) is water that you will thirst after again. Hence, the repetition of multiple men to meet a need.

The water that Jesus offered is eternal and she would never thirst for another man ever again. It is the same with masturbation. If you look to masturbate over and over again, you will thirst again and never be satisfied. But if you look to the Lord Jesus, you will never thirst again.

There was no question that she was successful in seducing these men to heal deep wounds or to meet connection needs through physical intimacy, but she kept coming up short of true satisfaction. This is the case with many single, divorced, and married men that look to masturbation as a way to release sexual tension, heal emotional wounds, feel self love, or gain affirmation.

So when you are having self sex, notice that Paul lists these things as sensual appetites of the flesh. Noticed that he ended by saying “and all greed and covetousness, for that is idolatry (the deifying of self and other created things instead of God).”

Sex and the person having sex apart from the way God created sex can be deified.

As a side note, when you see people with strange pictures and clothing that reveals skin or the sexy form of a body that leaves nothing to the imagination, it is sexual deification. When you are masturbating, it is a form of self deification. Especially when it is compulsive. Later in this series, we will deal with addictions and compulsive sexual behaviors.

Conclusion #3. If you desire to be like Jesus and be conformed to His image, if Jesus masturbated then you have every right to gratify yourself so you would conform to His image.

Conclusion #4. Your conscience and body is violated and the Holy Spirit is grieved.

How do you know that you’ve violated any principle?

The voice of the human spirit is the conscience. The born again believer has the Holy Spirit living within him or her. When you commit sins of omission and commission, the Holy Spirit will object in the strongest terms because the Holy Spirit is holy.

Anything that violates the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, which agrees with each other, the Holy Spirit will be grieved and He will let you know it so that it’s unmistakeable.

While this Biblical example has nothing to do with sexuality, it has everything to do with how the conscience is affected when there is a specific violation.

1 Samuel 24:1-7

Listen to the NLT version,

“Now’s your opportunity!” David’s men whispered to him. “Today is the day the Lord was talking about when he said, “I will certainly put Saul into your power, to do with as you wish.’ “Then David crept forward and cut off a piece of Saul’s robe. But then David’s conscience began bothering him because he had cut Saul’s robe. “The Lord knows I shouldn’t have done it,” he said to his men. “It is a serious thing to attack the Lord’s anointed one, for the Lord Himself has chosen him.” And David sharply rebuked his men and did not let them kill Saul.”

Conclusion#5. If you masturbate, you are loving yourself according to 2 Timothy 3:1, namely, “Lovers of themselves,” “without self control, and lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.”

Homophobia: Who’s Really Afraid

Be afraid. Be very afraid!

It always amazes me and I’m even puzzled, that the LGBT community honestly believes that genuine, God fearing, people loving believers are afraid of homosexuals. Clearly, the phobia is more from people that are involved in the sin of homosexuality and rightfully so.

The LGBT community does have a legitimate fear. It’s just that they are using tactics to make it appear that those that truly believe in Christ are the ones that are mostly afraid.

Let me be clear.

I and the many genuine believers in Christ fear the God of heaven more than any person, including the LGBT community on earth.

Psalm 2:11-12 (NKJ and AMP) says,

“Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry and you be destroyed in your way, for His wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in Him.”

“Serve the Lord with reverent awe and worshipful fear; rejoice and be in high spirits with trembling [lest you displease Him]. Kiss the Son [pay homage to Him in purity], lest He be angry and you perish in the way, for soon shall His wrath be kindled. O blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are all those who seek refuge and put their trust in Him!”

Psalm 27:1 says,

The Lord is my light and my salvation-whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold in my life-of whom shall I be afraid?

So out of their (LGBT) fear they attempt to make politicians, people of “faith” and straight people afraid. Especially true believers in Christ.

Based on the merits, LGBT’s flawed arguments cannot stand alone even when they attempt to misapply and misappropriate the Scriptures. They must use militant tactics “as a roaring lion” to get their point across.

If God, His Word, and true believers weren’t a threat to the LGBT agenda, they wouldn’t bother.

Light is always a threat until it becomes a fulfilled promise. When the Word of God comes, light comes.

Psalm 119:130 says,

“The entrance of Your Word gives light.”

And if you can take the fight out of the true believers, conquest is easy. Uncontested and unconfronted sinning is a sinner’s dream. That’s why true believers have armor and sinners have no armor. True believers walk in righteousness. Sinners have no righteousness to stand on.

That’s why they use secondary laws to establish their own false righteousness and they pick, choose, and avoid righteousness and true holiness Scriptures like the plague.

If the true church of the Lord Jesus Christ does not speak up, it’s because we are afraid to confront the sins of our times. A miserable failure of the courage test of Joshua.

Proverbs 28:1 says,

“The wicked flees when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.”

Our silence becomes their permission.

And when sympathetic supporters that claim to be believers of the Lord Jesus Christ, that don’t know their Bible join in condemning the stand of true believers, you wonder where in the world did they come from. What Bible are they living by and reading.

It is clear that they are under great delusion and were mesmerized and seduced (see 1 Timothy 4:1-2 and 2 Timothy 3:1-5) by the current times we are living in. The Lord Jesus warned us that we would be living in the days of Noah and Lot (see Luke 17:26-30). We all know what the Bible says about what happened during those days. And we are seeing a repeat performance that will rapidly funnel people towards the end times.

When you have people who claim to be saints not only agree with LGBT, but sanctioning their position, and join in their stern condemnation of those that stand for the righteousness of Christ, it is a clear understanding that we are seeing apostasy according to the book of Jude and 2 Thessalonians chapters 1 and 2.

I understand the LGBT community has something to be physically afraid of because there are extreme people that claim to be Christians out there that use harmful words and actions (criminal actions, too).

There is no question in my mind that extreme believers” are beyond the Scriptures when it comes to verbally and physically abusing human beings.

Such unjustified actions is clearly inconsistent with God and His Word, and must be vehemently condemned because it does not and will not reflect the true character of God. Even with Sodom and Gomorrah, Abram interceded for the people before destruction came upon them (see Genesis 18:16-33).

Believe it or not LGBT community, someone is praying for you.

I know.

You are saying, “You can keep your prayers.”

Believe it or not, we can’t keep our prayers because the will of God in our lives compels us to pray for you in the love and compassion of the Lord.

We pray to the Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus for you not to be destroyed, harmed, or judged, but to come to the knowledge of the truth.

The knowledge of the truth is that Lord Jesus and correctly taught believers truly love the sinner just as the Father in heaven, no matter what preference of sexual sins a person is involved in. The blood of the Lamb that was shed for all, places no asterisks next to homosexuals, lesbians, bisexuals, transvestites, transgender, or queer persons.

You are not excepted or exempt.

“But God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

We must underscore the fact that sin will never be condoned. For reasons established in this blog at the conclusion.

So, because of the vicious attacks from misguided extreme believers against LGBT people, to fight back, the LGBT community singled out the God of heaven, the Word of God, and genuine believers, hog tie them to the “extreme radical believers” that have no love of God in them, draft up hate crimes legislation, and the LGBT community can live in peace.

As long as what I am doing (homosexuality) has human legislation, homosexuality is not considered a sin.

God is wrong, the Bible is wrong, and genuine, God fearing believers are wrong, and out of date with the times.

There are laws already in the books against assault, manslaughter, and murder.

Now we have “targeted” legislation that includes preaching righteousness as part of “hate crime legislation.”

Already in Canada and the Netherlands, preachers of righteousness are being arrested.

Then to further “acceptance or tolerance,” allow them to get “married,” have a “family,” develop a public school curriculum to teach tolerance to children so that “bullying” against same sex attracted youth would diminish. And the problem of extreme hatred towards people of sexual preference/oriented people of LGBT will diminish or go away.

Then there are certain corporations and private companies that will discipline or fire anyone that “discriminates” against homosexuals and lesbians.

When I come across certain articles, I do so to intentionally portray the depravity of sexual immorality. By doing so, the risk of being called a hater of homosexual sin exponentially increases. It is with intent that I do this because when people reason against the Scriptures, it is clear that they are ignoring the very reasons why the Lord said what He said.

The stigmatization of being connected to depraved activities may have been too much for people in the LGBT community to bear.

When you read articles like “Cancer on the Penis,” it is a clear reminder why bestiality is an extremely gross sin. While this is not happening in the United States as often as it is in other Third World countries, the article did state that bestiality occurs among educated people in the Untied States.

Educated people.

Folk that’s supposed to be…huh…smart.

The connection to the depravity of homosexuality is clear.

What men do with other men is just as depraved as what men do with animals.

It’s the depravity and perversion that is to be underscored.

Perversion means- “an aberrant sexual practice.” Aberrant meaning “one whose behavior departs substantially from the norm of a group.

The norm of the group is straight folk.

People that have normal sexual intercourse between male and female. Just as the way the Lord God originally intended when Adam and Eve were created. But it’s not just normal sexual intercourse, but normal interaction between two persons of the opposite sex.

So male and male in a homosexual situation is “perversion.”

Female and female, in a lesbian situation is…you guessed it.

A behavior that is a substantial departure from the norm of a group.

Too often, we tend to mentally assent to separate depraved sex acts from other forms of perverted sex acts so that what we are engaged in as sinful sex acts is tolerable.

The shame and the guilt is lessened, so to speak, by agreeing to lower the stigmatization of the sexual sin we are involved with.

When I was trapped in the sin of porn and masturbation, I honestly thought that rape, sodomy, human trafficking for the sex trade, prostitution, strip joints and gentlemen’s clubs were separate issues. So I lessened the measure of guilt and shame of what I was doing.

“At least I didn’t get a prostitute or I didn’t have an affair.”

But I was committing adultery in my heart (Matthew 5:28) and I was sinning against my own body according to 1 Corinthians 6:18-20.

And to a degree, they are separate, but they are seamlessly connected. The material is the same. The fabric is the same, but the only difference is the string that attaches each piece of cloth of sexual preference to make one fabric.

The fabric of….

Sexual immorality.

The LGBT community is a very militant, in your face organization that will use hatred to attempt to push back at believers in the Lord that stands for the truth of God’s Word. The one thing that they will never overcome is the truth.

The diseases that are connected to sexual immorality speaks for itself.

It’s called consequential judgment.

The only way to avoid STDs and HIV/AIDS is abstinence.

Fact. If you stay inside during a rain storm, you will not get wet.

Fact. If you do not touch electricity, you will not get electrocuted.

Fact. If you use a condom during sex, you reduce, not eliminate contracting STDs, including HIV/AIDS, and women reduce the risk of getting pregnant.

Fact. If you do not have sexual intercourse with a woman, she cannot get pregnant. Although it is also a consistently determined fact that sperm has been known to travel from outside the vagina into the uterus and impregnate women after close exposure or minimal contact of the genitals.

Fact. If a man has unprotected sex with a man, he increases the risk of acquiring STDs, including HIV/AIDS.

Fact. If women have unprotected sex with a man that had multiple partners, she increases the risk of contracting STDs, including HIV/AIDS, and pregnancies.

Fact. When a malignant tumor is present in an HIV infected person, they are now declared an AIDS patient.

Fact. If you go to a church building, it doesn’t mean that you inherit the kingdom of God.

To avoid consequential judgment, all you have to do is abstain from perverted behavior.

I understand that the LGBT community will use every available means to get accepted as a normal group of people but there is nothing normal about repulsive behavior. They will argue that there is nothing repulsive about same sex attraction.

Just because you may have same sex attractions, it doesn’t make you a homosexual until you act out sexually on those attractions. That’s what abstinence is about. But when you sympathize with same sex attraction positions, and false theology, it is very safe to assume that when you suppress the Word of God, you are an enemy of righteousness.

They are entitled to believe whatever they want.

But they also need to understand that God and His Word will never change.

Numbers 23:19 says,

“God is not a man that he should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent.”

Malachi 3:6 says,

“I am the Lord, I change not.”

James 1:17 says,

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”

Hebrews 6:17-18 says,

“Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability (unchangeableness) of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.”

The two unchangeable things is what God promised and His oath to make good on what He promised.

That’s why LGBT is angry because they cannot change God and His Word.

So what they have done is create a separate church.

To have some measure of legitimacy, they use the Bible but only selected verses that is appealing to them apart from the conviction of departing from iniquity and living in righteousness and true holiness as the full counsel of God mandates.

The God of heaven and earth and the Bible was here before all of us and, should the Lord Jesus tarry, they will be here after us.

The Bible is the number one best selling Book of all time.

God is second to no one.

The one thing that the LGBT community want to do is put the fear of human law before a genuine child of God in an attempt to stop the truth.

2 Corinthians 13:8 says,

“You can do nothing against the truth but for the truth.”

No matter what you do, the truth will remain the same.

Truth #1

“For God so loved the world (LGBT) that he gave his only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Truth #2

“The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone (LGBT) to come to repentance.”

So now we have bishops, pastors, ministers, ministries, and churches of “inclusion” popping up all across the United States to become safe havens for those whom the “church” rejected and ex-communicated.

These churches are sown by the devil to look like the church. Jesus warned us about wheat and tares (see Matthew 13:25).

And according to Vine’s Expository Dictionary Of NT Words, tares are “The seeds (that) are poisonous to man and herbivorous animals, producing sleepiness, nausea, convulsions and even death…The Lord describes the tares as ‘the sons of the evil one’; false teachings are indissociable (cannot be divided or severed) from their propagandist.”

This is not sarcasm.

Why not be bold and call these safe havens what you want.

Safe Haven For LGBTQ Assembly

Don’t call it with Christ in it because Paul said, “…is Christ therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not!”

You can’t use Good News either.

Although it would be good news for sinners in the sense that you can come to an assembly where there will be no conviction of sin. Good news that you can do and be who you want to be without feeling condemned about what you do.

What will be missing is the presence of the Lord because His nature is Holy.

Clean and dirty. Two separate things.

Light and darkness. Two separate things.

Love and hatred. Two separate things.

Oh, by the way.

Why hate God, and the Word of God, when you want to have a church or ministry for God? Why hate believers that speak the truth in love and then speak words of hate at us? Why hate the truth when the truth is designed to help you see that what you are involved in is against the very nature of God?

You can’t have it both ways.

The standard of the Bible is clear.

God had Michael kick satan out of heaven (Revelation 12:4, Isaiah 14:12-17, Ezekiel 28:11-19).

God kicked Adam and Eve out of the Garden so they wouldn’t eat of the Tree of Life.

And…so they wouldn’t live eternally in the sinful condition they were in.

What makes you think that sin is acceptable before God?

What makes you think that sin would ever be allowed in the presence of the Lord after you die?

Why did He send Jesus to die?

Isn’t it because He was sent to pay for our sins?

Jesus didn’t die for our sins so we could continue in sin.

So far, the LGBTQ community has yet to find one Scripture in the Bible that justifies their sin. One Scripture in the Bible where the LGBTQ community is the exception to the rule. One Scripture that allows them to inherit the kingdom of God in the condition they are in.

Heaven and God’s throne would be engulfed in the flames of the lake of fire if God allows the very thing that He hates to be a part of heaven. God would have to cast Himself in the lake of fire if He allowed sin in heaven, and we would be just to call God a liar, and the greatest scammer of all time.

Then Jesus died for nothing and His blood was a waste.

That’s why sin can never be condoned.

After all of the human legislation is passed. After rights after civil rights is passed, what is there left?

You are still looking over your shoulder of your greatest fear.

The God of heaven and the correctly taught Word of God, the Holy Bible.

After reading this, get your Bible and refute every statement with Scripture. Be bold and find a Scripture to refute what is said.

Little do they realize that the devil that gives them these fantastic arguments and sticking points, is the same devil that is out to kill, steal, and destroy people in the LGBT community. The devil lied to them by saying that the believers in Christ is responsible for the attacks.

So who’s telling the truth?

Pull out the Bible and challenge each statement. Chapter and verse.

In the mean while…..

Yes, fear Him.

So now, it’s not homophobia that you are pushing on believers that love God, His Word, and every sinner including the LGBT community.

It’s truly a fear of God that you have.

And this fear you have of God won’t go away until you repent!

Because fear of God is not a phobia.

Phobia is defined as-an anxiety disorder characterized by extreme and irrational fear of simple things or social situations.”

True believers do not have an anxiety disorder characterized by extreme or irrational fear of simple things or social situations because we have the answer from God and His Word regarding simple things and social situations.

1 John 4:18-19 says,

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out all fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect (mature) in love. We love Him because He first loved us.”

The Objectification Of Women

Men’s sinful pastime. The sport of watching women. The candy for the eyes. The toy store. We know that this is a child’s fantasy land. So is the objectification of women. When they walk, every above the waistline bounce. Every step. Every look from “behind” is mesmerizing. Every pose at the magazine rack becomes a mental play-land for lust filled men. The lustful look is a clear indication that objectification of women is a problem with men. The root cause of all sexual immorality for men will always be in two places.

His thoughts and his eyes.

Too often, a woman’s beauty is blamed.

Boneheaded men would say, “Women are to be blamed for rape when they wear provocative clothing. If they wouldn’t wear what they wear, they would get raped. She got what she deserved!”

It is important to understand that women do wear provocative clothing to get noticed but on average, most women don’t. It’s all about what a man is thinking about and what he desires to look at regardless of what a woman wears.

Even if an “aged” woman in tight fitting jeans with long hair is walking by. The fact that she is not young looking wouldn’t deter the lust filled heart of a man.

Sexy sells.

Even in church, sexy sells and all women know this.

As a side note, sadly, women do come to church, married and single women with low cleavage, tight skirts. Sometimes they do not give a pastor or other married and single/divorced men a break.

For married women that dress provocatively, as a note, it could be a miscommunication/misconnection little to no sex situation in their marriage. Translation.
The provocatively dressed wife is demanding her husband’s attention. Even to the point of openly flirting with other men in small ways to make her husband jealous. All in an effort to get his undivided attention.

When their husbands do not give them the time of day in terms of giving their wife “quality attention,” sometimes provocative wear is not necessarily to get the attention of the pastor or other men.

They are trying to get the attention of their husband (see 1 Peter 3:1-4).

The truth of the matter is that unfortunately, sexually observant married, single/divorced men are controlled by what they objectify. Men, married or not, is always in search mode.

They must learn how to control their minds as well as where their eyes travel according to Job 31:1, Proverbs 27:20, Matthew 15:19-20, Romans 13:13-14, 1 Corinthians 9:27, 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, and 1 John 2:15-17.

When it comes to objectification, men will search “high and low” for that symmetrical female that sexually appeals to them.

It’s all about depraved sexuality at this point.

For definition purposes, we must distinguish between, “lust” and “wife searching.”

When a man is searching for a wife, the Bible gives a single man latitude to search. A woman’s outer beauty is part of the attraction process.

Proverbs 18:22 says, “He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord.”

Again, attraction is the first place. When they come together, they are “checking each other out.” That’s where dating comes in to confirm compatibility or incompatibility because after “kicking it” at the dinner table, subsequent “dates” will either happen or not happen.

A woman will work hard to make herself look attractive because the “competition” is steep as far as “outer beauty” is concerned, but when you get passed the cover, it all comes down to who you are as a person.

There must be “things in common” for things to heat up. The competition narrows when a man sees past the outer beauty by looking past her eyes and into her soul. He begins to see that she is “suitable” for his needs.

And we are not talking sexual either.

Men come with physical equipment and women come with physical equipment. Both can engage sexually with little problems. It all comes down to “can you live with each other” after sex.

When a man just objectifies a woman, all he wants is sex. That’s lust. Lust is the desiring for that which is forbidden. Jesus said that when a man looks at a woman lustfully, he committed adultery in his heart (see Matthew 5:28).

This Scripture speaks of married men. For single or divorced men, lust in the heart is according to 1 John 2:15-17. This is when a man is only looking at women to have them in their minds or to have them physically in bed.

A “brother” made a comment that revealed what they really like. Based on preponderance, it appears that he has a “symmetrical” issue when it comes to women.

Look at the quote.

“A prayer for the single woman: I pray you will lose 50 lbs (at least) of unsightly fat, stop dressing and talking like a man, learn to cook, sew and stop bad-mouthing men. Amen.”

The quote was in response to why women do not get married. To narrow it even further, it appears, (and I may be wrong), directed to African American women.

The brother that made this comment probably can’t run a half a block. He probably is overweight, out of shape and don’t do any PT (physical training) and can’t cook or sew themselves.

When objectification is at the top of the list, usually this is a clear indication of their measurement of a woman’s worth. He failed to realize that age is coming and we will not look the way we look as each year passes.

The quality of a relationship is much more important than the upkeep of the outer shell of a person. Don’t misunderstand the fact that we should take care of ourselves but when this is the only measurement that a man has for a woman, it is clear that he will soon find out that life comes and goes. What will matter most is the quality of the relationship that will be the enduring factor in the end.

Usually when a brother makes a comment like that, he may be doing too much “girl” watching. It may also be an indicator that porn or other visual affects dominates his thinking. It must be noted that he listed other features, such as cooking and sewing.

I believe it is a smoke in mirrors kind of thing to distract attention to what he really is thinking. That’s why brothers, you need to look past what you see and really look into the heart of women. There you will find more things in common than a bedroom romp.

Objectification of women lead to places of prostitution, rape, human trafficking for sex, pornography, masturbation off of sexual objectification, voyeurism (peeping Tom), exhibitionism, and other potentially dangerous forms of sexual addiction. What dangerous forms of sexual addiction? Addictions that could lead to child pornography, child abduction for sexual purposes, CSM or Child Sexual Molestation, etc.

Some of you might be saying, “How did you get there when this is about objectifying a woman’s body?”

It’s a “seamless fabric.”

It’s all connected.

Just because you are masturbating off of an image in your mind or porn, it doesn’t mean that you are disconnected from the other forms of Secret Sexual Sins.

Just as Paul said, “He that sows to the flesh, shall of the the flesh reap corruption.”

When you are having sex with yourself, you are joining yourself to the millions of others that are connecting to some form of false intimacy in the soulish realm. The soul realm is just as eternal as the spirit realm (see 1 Corinthians 6:15-16).

In some cases, it’s just a matter of time before people cross certain lines.

Now if you haven’t cross that line, and you are just objectifying as a minor sport, you need to learn how to discipline your thoughts and eyes. Second, you need to learn how to appreciate a woman as a human being. She is a person with feelings, character, intelligence, wit, wisdom, smarts, and is more to it than meets the eye.

Once you get beyond what you can do in the bedroom, what will matter most is that they are a gift from God that will bring beauty and spice in your complex world.
